All off-silte call directly goes to Auto Attendant

    Hello  everyone,
I have an issue with UC520. There is one PSTN line connected to the voice port 0/2/0, All dial out works fine,  All off-site calls goes directley to the Auto Attendant, however, interal dial-in works fine, I mean user can dial internal extension properly but not from offsite to insite.
I was wondering if any one can help me.
Here is the partal UC configuration:

I was configure custom disconnect tone refer to this site:
http://ciscoflair.blogspot.com/2009/05/cisco-fxo-disconnect-issue.html
And the tone is in the attachment, and the custom disconnect tone configuration like below:
voice class custom-cptone Disconnect
dualtone disconnect
  frequency 420 420
  cadence 251 255 245 250 249 250 250 250
and the port configuration was like below:
voice-port 0/1/2
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone Disconnect
cptone NL
timeouts interdigit 4
timeouts call-disconnect 5
timeouts wait-release 5
timing hookflash-out 500
connection plar 334
impedance complex2
caller-id enable
caller-id alerting line-reversal
caller-id alerting dsp-pre-allocate
but it was not working and the phone still ringing after the PSTN caller disconnect.
but i was read about "dualtone-detect-params", and i was add the below command and i do not understand it, but it was solve hte problem:
voice class dualtone-detect-params 1
freq-max-deviation 20
cadence-variation 50
so what it is and how to determine this parameters.

  • Ability to dial an extension directly from dtmf Auto Attendent?

I think i know the answer but want to make sure there is no creative workaround I'm missing. ;-)
Is there anyway to get the ability to dial an extension (at any time) directly from dtmf Auto Attendent? (without pressing ##)
    http://windowspbx.blogspot.com

I can confirm on our Exchange UM setup, speech enabled AA's can accept DTMF inputs when the caller hits the auto-attendant. I think the only extra thing I had to do was create a dial rule group for our extensions and allow the auto attendant to utilze
that dial rule group: Name - Extensions Number mask - 5xxx Dialed number - 5xxx I then had to make sure the Lync front ends had appropriate normalization rules to normalize the 5xxx to the correct lineuri format (e.g.: 5xxx to +1309xxxxxx;ext=5xxx). Aside
from that, I can also confirm that this works even if the destination extension is NOT enabled on Lync or has an Exchange UM mailbox. In that case, the call gets forwarded outside the Lync environment to your gateway for routing to wherever the gateway route
    rules indicate it should go.Trevor

  • All my phone calls are going to voicemail

My do not disturb is not on and calls divert directly to voicemail without there being a divert on. please help as cannot make outgoing calls again.

First try simply turning your iPhone off completely (press and hold the sleep button until your get the 'Slide to Power Off' message on screen) and then turn it back on again after a few minutes.
You will find that fixes many issues on many different types of handsets.
If that doesn't work then try a network reset by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings follow the prompts and then your iPhone will reboot automatically.  You will need to re-enter any WiFi passwords but no other data will be lost

  • Can I stop voice calls from going to multiple devices using the same Apple id?

We just upgraded three iPhones and added two iPads. Now we all ring for calls directed to any device.

Did you try to search for a similar question on the Verizon Wireless Community forum? I know I have seen at least two different discussions on this same situation in the last two days. Check both the Apple space and the iPhone 6 space.

  • Can Lync 2013 work as IVR (auto-attendant ) for dialing Lync users?

    Hi All,
Can Lync 2013 works as IVR (Auto-attendant) for dialing lync users?
We want to migrate IVR from Nortel to Lync 2013. PSTN users call auto.attendant for dialing Lync users instead to dialing 1 for sales, etc?
    Regards
    José Osorio

    Hi,JOSE,
There are two types of Response group, one is IVR group and the other is hunt group,if you would like to route the callers to a special queue without asking any question then you can use the hunt group, otherwise you can use the IVR group.

  • Manual switch Auto Attendant

    Hello,
When an incoming call hits the UC, I want to switch manually (button or code) what it does.
Normally during day the calls go to the Auto Attendant.
During night there is a message.
During the break there is another message.
And they want to have also 2 other messages they want to use in other cases.
Is it possible to resolve this problem with a script of some kind?
If not I need to let the call come in on a phone and set the phone in call-forward to the AA or different voicemail boxes through floating extensions.
    Thanks,
    Stephan

    Hello,
This is going to be a little tricky. There is a couple of ways this can be accomplished, but there are some limitations with each method.
You can use the opened/closed hours in the Auto Attendant to change the greetings. The limitation here is that you can't manually switch, only be a schedule.
The alternative, is to use a manual night service configuration to send calls to 2 separate auto attendants. This will allow manual control, but only between 2 messages.
This might be possible with a custom script, but as we don't support custom scripts with UC500s, I couldn't tell if that would work.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    -john

  • I can call out but all incoming calls are going directly to VM with no signal that I missed a call or have VM. I can send/receive text messages from other iPhone/iPad/iTouch users, I am assuming this is really "iMessage." Is it apple software?

I have spent hours on the phone with Apple and AT&T. I went thought reset, on/off, etc, etc with both companies to no avail. Each company pointed fingers at the other....as being the source of the problem.
Problems: Suddenly ALL  incoming calls were going directly to VM with no signal I missed calls and/or had VM. I was also unable to receive all Text Messages...Oddly, I could send text messages to anyone (even non-apple users but I could not receive their responses)........then I when I got home I started receiving text messages from other apples users ONLY. I assume now - iMessage kicked in and I could text (send/receive)  other iPhone/iPad/iTouch users ONLY. ....yes, I could still (send) text messages to my husband's blackberry (he received my messages fine) but my phone would NOT receive his text respones.
Finally, I googled the problem and found this community where other people have had the exact same problems! One person said he "turned off 3 G" which was the solution for him....so I did the same and VIOLA! My problem  solved! Nevermind the fact that I pay for 3G and cannot use it....so here's my question, if 3G is the problem on my phone is this an APPLE issue or a NETWORK problem? Do I purchase a new phone and slip in my same SIM card and hope the same does not occur or do I get a whole new SIM card and phone? What is the long term resolution to this problem?
I am happy however to find that my problem is NOT an isolated incident and wish Apple or AT&T had told me this is not so uncommon because I thought (based on the baffled response from Apple) that this has never occurred before.  Where is Steve Jobs when we need him?

        jsavage9621,
It pains me to hear about your experience with the Home Phone Connect.  This device usually works seamlessly and is a great alternative to a landline phone.  It sounds like we've done our fair share of work on your account here.  I'm going to go ahead and send you a Private Message so that we can access your account and review any open tickets for you.  I look forward to speaking with you.

  • Incoming calls are going directly to Voicemail, Iphone 5S

I switched phones from an Iphone 4 to this Iphone 5S and my incoming calls are going directly to voice-mail and not ringing the phone. The only app I downloaded that is different from my Iphone 4 is the GroupMe app, but I don't know if that is necessarily the cause. Anyone have a suggestion? thanks

Hi,   I don't know if this info will help many, but for a few it may.  I had this problem over the weekend.  Called Tech Support 2x, they tried everything, resetting,, *73,  *228, *900 , there were no "do not disturb" settings, etc.   They prepared a work ticket for the next level of help.
Meanwhile, I couldn't figure out what changed all of a sudden.  I knew I had no calls coming in after accessing my voicemail.  I looked at my recent calls and noticed i had dialed a *83 prior to the voicemail *86.  Fat thumbs.  I remember years ago, having the features of *83 for do not disturb and *84 to stop the feature.   Just for giggles, i dialed *84, tried from another phone calling my number and WHOOLA, it came thru.
If anyone has these issues, try the *73 first.  But just for the heck of it, do *84 as well.  Takes half a second.   If those dont' work, then call Tech Support.  I wanted to share to help at least some of you as I understand the frustration of not having incoming calls.  I even called Tech Support and shared the info.  As this was not an option given to me from Tech Support,  but then again, i don't believe *83 or *84 is offered anymore.  I just dated myself, but hope it helps others !

    - While charging try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Next try restoring the iPod via iTunes.  First from backup and if still problem restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
    - However, I really think that the iPod has a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.  If defective Apple should give you a refurbished iPod.

My Droid Maxx deleted all my text messages by itself. I had all of them, got a phone call, and when I got off the call, all my texts where gone. Is there a way I can get them all back? I had a lot and some where really important to me. I turned the phone off and on again thinking that would bring them back because of some glitch but it didn't help. Does anyone know of a way to bring them all back?

It's very possible to get your messages back. Verizon Messages (app) from the Play Store has options both to restore and back up your messages. They can be downloaded as a file and saved on the device or SD card. By pulling the menu out from the left side and choosing "Restore Conversations", you can (hopefully) restore your lost messages but it says for 90 days. I hope this doesn't reach you too late.

  • Auto attendant intermittently routes call to out of region/not in dial plan UM server

    Hi all,
Exchange 2013 on prem, hardware not virtual. CU5 w/Lync 2013
I've got calls that get intermittently routed to UM servers that are out of region and not in the dial plan.  The out of region UM server sees the call is outside of business hours & sends helpdesk calls to voicemail instead of the appropriate phone
    menu.
Additionally, when Exchange admins who are in different time zones look at the GUI w/the AA's business hours they see a time skew even though the time displayed is listed as Eastern.  I think the mis-routing & the time zone skew are related.  When
the Tokyo server gets the call it checks the time: 3AM? Not in business hours even though in Eastern Time where the call is supposed to go, it is in business hours.
In the Lync client log (as seen via the snooper tool) this is the last message before the call gets transferred:
    “ms-diagnostics:
15032;reason="Re-directing request to the destination in 302”
Additionally the time zone on the AA schedule is set to Eastern Time.  Why is the TYO UM server ignoring this and applying local time?
Any tips to point me in the right direction would be appreciated.
    Adam

Number two was correct!  The affected site did not have an arbitration mailbox.  Details follow.
I still have the underlying problem of AA's getting the time zone of the UM server applied rather than the time zone they are allegedly set to (for example Beijing business hours served from a TYO UM server getting TYO time).
With the help of MS support we resolved the immediate problem: calls getting routed to our TYO site.
It turns out that every AD site with Exchange servers needs to have an arbitration mailbox with the grammar generator role set & ready.  If a site with UM servers does not have an arbitration mailbox it will proxy the call to another site that does.
In our case, it would route them to our Tokyo site that applied the wrong hours to the auto attendant.
Here's how we created the arbitration mailbox
[PS] C:\temp\autoattendant>New-Mailbox -Arbitration -Name "A new UM Grammar Mailbox" -Database <some db hosted in site> -UserPrincip
alName [email protected] -DisplayName "A new UM Grammar Mailbox"
    C:\temp\autoattendant>Set-Mailbox [email protected] -Arbitration -UMGrammar:$true
This keeps the call from going out of site to an Exchange UM server in a different time zone.
The tricky bit is that this does not immediately work.  The mailbox needs to pick up the OrganizationCapabilityUMGrammarReady capability which it will only get when the grammar generator runs.  In 2010 you were able to kick this off manually.  In
2013 it runs once a day.  You have to wait until Get-Mailbox -Arbitration | fl name, servername, persistedcapabilities shows the OrganizationCapabilityUMGrammarReady has been assigned to the mailbox.
I still have not yet resolved the underlying problem of why UM servers are ignoring the time zone setting on AA's business hours.

  • Unity Connection Auto Attendant direct to voice mail, MWI issue

    hi,
First time encountering this issue with call transfer from AA and MWI.
An Auto Attendant have been setup for a branch office.  All employees at  the Branch office phones are assigned a DID.
Customers can dial the 10 digit or  dial the main line (auto attendant) and then dial the last 4 digit extension to reach the employee.
Problem I am having is there is a range of numbers that when being transferred from AA, goes directly to voicemail.   Also when there is a message  left on the voicemail, the MWI is not lit.  It does show the envelope icon and the  message "you have vociemail" on the phone display.
I can call the DID directly and it does not go directly to voicemail but MWI is still not on when a message is left.
This only happens within a range of numbers..  for example, I have 50 DID assigned to this office from XXX-XXX-0100 to XXX-XXX-0150.   Only the phones within the range of XXX-XXX-0120 to XXX-XXX-0130 have this issue with the AA going directly to vociemail and MWI not on when a message is left.
For phones outside this range of numbers, AA transfer works fine and MWI works.
anyone ran into this issue before?
    thank in advance.

    Hi,
The range in which you are facing issue is  XXX-XXX-0120 to XXX-XXX-0130, just try to open any  one of the extension in this range and go to edit -- transfer rules -- standard/alternate (if alternate is enabled) -- Transfer calls -- may be this is set to Greetings. If so the transferred call goes to voicemail directly. Try enabling Extension.
Just try this for one extension and see...
Hope this helps, i had the same issue.

  • [OIM] Error in Direct Provisioning (with auto save form) - GTC DB App Table

    Hi,
I am getting an error when setting up direct provision of a GTC DB App Conn using OIM access policy (and group membership) or through manual provisioning with prepopulate and auto save form.
Manual provisioning with prepopulate ONLY (not with auto save form) WORKS!!!
Some information about my OIM config:
    - Prepopulate adapters are set up on both forms (parent and child)
    - "Auto prepopulate" and "Auto save form" are set up at Process Definition
    - For direct provisioning, I have created an access policy with an associated group which has a membership rule
    What it is working:
    - Provisioning manually, using prepopulate adapters only, not auto save form. Both tables are updated properly
    - All *3 tasks are called and finished with status=Completed*: "System Validation", "Create User" and "Child Table UD_<connector child table name>_US row Inserted"
    Testing direct provisioning:
    - I have tested adding the resource manually with prepopulate and autosave form configured, and also through access policy/group membership. The error is the same on both tests
    - The resource is displayed as provisioned and it is created an entry in the parent table of the resource, but not on child table
    - I also observed that only: "System Validation" and "Create User" tasks were executed (status=Completed). But it is missing the task "Child Table UD_<connector child table name>_US row Inserted"
    - The error log info displays only an error regarding to UGP table (Groups info) but I am not sure if that is the cause of entry creation on child table.
It seems the SQL stmt tries to get ugp_name (group name) using ugp_key but that has null value.
"SELECT ugp_name FROM ugp WHERE ugp_key=java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00936: missing expression"
Note: When testing manually (without auto save form), I got "SELECT ugp_name FROM ugp WHERE ugp_key=1" which it is the same SQL stmt but the value is provided.
    My guess:
    - It seems that error is aborting the whole execution process so "Child Table UD_<connector child table name>_US row Inserted" task does not run, even though previous tasks are finished with the status=Completed. Consequently, the entry is not created on child table.
Please, any guess or help would be very helpful. In case nothing works, I guess I will have to create and customize a "Update child Form" task as an workaround which would be called after "Create User" task.
    Regards,
    Hugo
    My environment:
    - Windows 2003, WebLogic 10.3.0.0, OIM 9.1.0.2 BL4, Oracle 10g, Java 1.6, DB App Table Connector 9.1.0.2 (from October 2009)
    - Target Resource: Parent and Child Table (Oracle 10g - the same OIM DB)

    An update:
I solved that error about "ORA-00936: missing expression" applying OIM 9.1.0.2 BP05. That was not impacting my issue regarding direct provisioning with auto save form and child form.
So please if anyone can confirm:
    - Can I set up prepopulate adapters on child forms AND also use "auto save form" on GTC DB App Table connector?
    If not, any suggestion?
    Regards
    Hugo
