Any advice on actually getting customer service pl...

Hello,
On the last bill i had some call charges that i don't believe should be there.
I contacted BT, and as i live at work they couldn't tell me anything as it was under the bosses name even though my name is there too for this seperate line. I got the boss to phone BT to allow them to talk to me, and since then i have had no response and they are ignoring anything i send them, for 2 weeks now.
It's getting rather frustrating, i'm able to sign up for things and of course they'll take money regardless of who it's from, but they won't talk about the bill with me.
I have paid the bill so as not to cause any unpaid hassles.
Does anyone have any ideas?

There are only two courses of action I could suggest, really. The first one normally sorts out most issues straight away.
Phone BT Customer Services and demand to talk to a Supervisor or Manager with regards your account. Make sure your boss is available to confirm that you can discuss the account with you.
If this fails, make a complaint to Ofcom. Contact and complaints procedures can be found under the "Contact Ofcom" tab on their website at http://www.ofcom.org.uk/

    I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6.  That's the latest version.
    Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them.  And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore.  Sorry about this.

    I recently went into a Verizon store to try to upgrade my phones. I am on a Family Plan. When I renewed my contract 2 years ago, one of the phones received was defective. After going back to the store several times, it still did not work properly. I asked for a replacement. I was sent a refurbished phone, which I did not want and complained. I sent it back and was finally sent a new phone. Now it's time to upgrade. The catch is that the date I can upgrade on 1 phone was set back 2 months-- the time it took to resolve the problem with the defective phone.     Next, when you renewed 2 yrs ago, you signed a contract in which you had 30 days to return the phone in exchange for a "new" one. After this 30 day period, you "agreed" to refurbished replacements by signing the original contract and activating your original phone, thus agreeing to the ToS. YOU were not willing to adhere to the contract and ToS which you had previously agreed to, but you now want Verizon to follow those terms that you have already backed out on?

    I am sure I acan't be the first to have hit his barrier but when enrolling as a developer and going through to the checkout there is a mandatory charge of VAT on the subscription. All very well if I am a UK business but in this case I am working with a company that falls outside the EU and tax regulations (Alderney, Channel Islands) and all research tells me that I should NOT be paying tax at source.     I think you will find  - if your Apple account and bank/CC  details are considered to be registered in the UK -  the all online money shifting to and from the UK are subject to VAT @ 20%.
    I think this  started with eBay and became applicable to all online "commercial" transactions.
    IF your account is UK based, you will have  needed an iBAN number from your  bank... this is for APPLE who will send any earning you have from your products - to be transferred to your  bank. Its an anti money laundering thing!
    Keith is correct, Apple dont care about your none USA tax situation, if  money was deducted from your earnings from Apple, then you  need to contact your  tax &  vat  office for advice.
    VAT tends to be redunded after a claim form is submitted, if you are not registered... BUT you will need to include your Apple earnings into your tax return.
    There have been some changes  and its 5 tears since I quit the gloomy UK for  the Aussie sun!  But all the banking stuff above is what I have encountered  cos my Apple IDs and bank are in UK.

  • IS THERE ANY WAY TO ACTUALLY GET SUPPORT FROM ADOBE?

    I swear Adobe acts like they hate their customers.  I've been having a problem since June 18 and I am getting nowhere.  At that time their so called "support" site was down for days.  Somehow I eventually established a support case that I could see when I logged on to my account.  I submitted everything they asked for.  Now it is gone, poof.  I cannot see what happened to my case.  I was also exchanging e-mail with someone from Adobe but after I submitted everything she requested she quit replying.  THAT WAS 9 DAYS AGO.  Did I mention that the CHAT IS DOWN in the middle of the day with no explanation of when it will be available again?  I regret every buying an Adobe product but I did and I deserve to be able to use it but I cannot.
    Does anyone have any suggestions??

    As I mentioned in your other post, you may want to describe your problem.  There are many users here that can offer excellent help (some who are more knowledgeable than Adobe support staff).

    Thanks for the tip. Through perseverance, I managed to install it, but not before having to go back to the seed installation, CS33. Perhaps security, but you'd think confirmation of the CS6, CS5.5 CS5.1, with a tag containing the seed installation code would suffice. Fortunately the made getting your account information easier.
    Having to re install Quicktime required some digging as well because Apple somehow wiped the purchase history of this item from the store. I had PDF’d a copy of the Receipt. Google NIK, re install, they have the record, send you a link download the latest, done

    I bought a Macbook Pro back in May for university, but not from an apple store and just under a month later the deal to get a free Ipod touch with your new mac was introduced. when I called 1-800-my-apple I was extremely unsatisfied with their help. They said the only way to get my ipod was to return my computer and buy it from an apple store. So I tried that but I had also bought iworks and would have to forfeit the $100 I had paid on iworks. So i called 1-800-my-apple again and this time they said to try to get the retailer to honour it. But by this point it was over the return policy and they said they couldn't that apple should. I called 2 more times and instead just got really vague completely unsatisfactory answers. It ****** me off that I had to keep going back and forth when I feel like I had a pretty straight forward and legitimate request. It is kind of late to get the ipod I want so I just want to know where I can voice my frustration and where to go next time I have a problem since 1-800-my-apple was no help.

  • Any Cloud Users Actually Getting BI Publisher to Work?

    Seriously, is BIP working for anyone?  We have tried since August 2012 and have constantly faced nothing but internal errors and outages.  To date we have filed seven SRs to no avail--usually Oracle will solve the issue only for it to return a few days or even hours later.  We even gave up for a while hoping it might stabilize given time.  When Oracle recently announced they added the external data model functionality, we gave it a try again.  At first it appeared to work, but then I have since filed three more SRs for breakage.  In 13 months we have not been able to develop any serious reporting capability from Unifier.
    Now what we do miss is Crystal.  New to that product, we had our first non-trivial report up and running in a week--then that functionality broke around the time of the acquisition and Oracle was never able to reliably fix it.

    I am also having this issue with Office 2010 on XP (worked OK with 2007). Have reinstalled Office and BI Publisher Desktop.
    I've since discovered that the problem is specific to my user profile. If I log onto the PC using a different user account I am able to run the add-in template/macro's without any issue.
    It's as if the location of this template isnt trusted and is being blocked, I checked Word secrity options and the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Security\Trusted Locations - the "C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP" folder is specified as trusted however.
    For the moment I can run from the other user profile, but it would be great to know the root cause of this problem for my user-profile
