Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month- 0HR_PY_1

We wish to extract data from R/3 payroll for both the IN Period and FOR period  for the same country code.. Does anybody currently do this and what are the options available

Hi,
As per the settings in the SBIW code in R/3 , we can go with a single Time based assignment for a Country at a time.So we can not use both IN Period and FOR period for the same country code.
For more information, refer the below path.
SBIW>Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)->Human Resources->Payroll Plug-In>Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month

    I get the error "No Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month for Country Grouping 10 and 13" when extracting data for 0PY_C02. I then added the "End Date of For Period" in the SBIW in the Payroll systen activity "Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month". I am still getting the same error???
    Also I do have data in the cube from that extraction, but when I run a query I get no data?? Is this due to the above error?

    Hi,
    The extractor runs without errors in RSA3 in the source system. The error is red with the test of "No Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month for Country Grouping 10 and 13". I completed the SBIW task to set this in the source system but I still get the same error?
    Any other ideas?

    if you do not get...use Cntl + F and enter payroll..
    you will get

    but in the info package selection i have given to extract 01.01.2005 to 28.02.2006 and it has extracted successfully even 2006 records which means that though we define time frame, extraction is independent of this time frame, am i correct???

    I did:
    - Activated 0HR_PY_1 in source system
    - On the extraction user In source system (add profile P_BAS_ALL and S_RS_ALL)
    - Assignment of Payroll Data to BW Month
    But I have the same problem.

  • Payroll Data Extraction - 0HR_PY_1 and BIWMONTH

    Hi, I'm hoping someone can provide some clarification on an issue with a payroll data extractor please. I've searched the forums, and looked at the Business Content documentation, but I'm still not clear on one point.
    The extractor 0HR_PY_1 (Payroll data) has two selection fields in our version of the DataSource, and these are PERNR and BIWMONTH. It is the BIWMONTH parameter for which I am seeking clarification. Does this allow data to be extracted based upon the calendar month/year that the data was posted into SAP, or does it relate specifically to the calendar year/month of the actual payroll result data. So, if a retrospective payroll change is done in Oct 2010, to an April payroll result, will BIWMONTH contain 10.2010 or 04.2010?
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

  • PCP - How to simulate upcoming months payroll data

    Hi,
    I'm try to get plan personnel cost for the year 2008 using the payroll data of 2007. We only have the Jan-Jul 2007 payroll data in the system. I used the program RPCIPE00 with "Cost planning data" checked and "Name of payroll program" as "HTRCALC0" with a variant. But it only works till Jul 2007 which is the latest calculated payroll date.

    Run a Payroll simulation for a future pay period with the Document type 'T' - Test Run and then select the Cost Planning checkbox using the program RPCIPE00. It stores the cost planning data in the PCL5 cluster tables. This data will them be used in the data collection for the forecasting.

  • ALE error while posting payroll data

    Hi all,
    We are trying to set up payroll posting via ALE interface. We have done the following settings
    1. Distribution model setup with filters on for standard bapi's
    2. Partner profile setup
    3. RFC destination setup
    When we try to post payroll data,it was returned with the following errors
           RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6001 and method PRECHECKPAYROLLACCOUNTASSIGN
           The account assignment objects could not be checked
           RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6004 and method CHECK
           The G/L account could not be checked
    We verified RFC destination and it is working fine. I have searched all possible links in SCN, but unable to get the solution.
    Can someone help in this issue?

    Using tcode pc_payresult please check whether the off-cycle payroll is executed again in period 06-2010. If yes then try to post off-cycle payroll separately (PC00_M99_CIPE - Create Posting Run) by entering "Off-Cycle Payroll Run" parameters. May be you will get an error while posting this off-cycle payroll because this payroll is already posted. In this case you will have to reverse the existing off-cycle posting and then post off-cycle payroll again.
    Once off-cycle payroll is posted, then you try to post normal monthly payroll.
    I hope your problem will be solved by doing the above work out.

    Guys,
    I am trying to extract the HR payroll data from r/3 using DataSource 0HR_PY_1 .
    By using this Data Source I am getting data with Month field but I need the data with the Week field(FOR-PERIOD field).
    <b>FOR-PERIOD</b>:  I exactly dont know if this field can be found in RT table, but I have seen this field in "Display Payroll Results".
    Can anyone please help me how to extract this FOR-PERIOD to BW.(Do I have to use generic extraction?)
    one more question, How can I see the data in RT table??? (I tried inSE16, but couldn't find the table there? So please let me know is there any cluster table I need to use)

    Does any one know how to configure a Terms of Payment to determine due date as last date of the month ?
    I tried by puting fixed date as 31 in the Terms of Payment in FI but when I am creating in FI-CA it gives me an error "_Term of payment Z003 is inconsistent/not planned_"

    Hi Satyajeet,
    It seems the settings that you have maintained in FI are correct.
    When you are assigning the payment terms in FI-CA, you need to assign a factory calendar as well to the payment terms in the following config-
    IMG->Financial Accounting ->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Postings and Documents->Document->Maintain Payment Terms
    If you have already assigned the factory calendar and still the problem persists, can you give the message ID and the message number of the error that you are getting?

  • Payroll data source error in rsa3

    Hi,
        I have a requirement that I have to extract payroll data source 0hr_py_01 , But when I check the records in rsa3 tcode , I got the message  0 data records selected.
    So I gone through different forums , I used the sap notes 672514 & 397208. I used P_BAS_ALL in ALEREMOTE User profile but no use.  Plz solve the problem.

    thank you for your replies, i checked the t-code pc_payresult , this does'nt have any data.  in rsa3 i found the records for 0hr_py_1 .
    this rsa3 problem was solved by giving authorization by basis.  by using su53 t-code
    can you suggest any solution thank you.

  • Uploading old payroll data??

    Dear All,
    I need your assistance to understand following problem.
    Suppose a company is existing from 1990 and  it has configured SAP in 2012. the company has decided to start the payroll through SAP from march 2012, however the company has decided to maintain the old data from 1990 to Feb 2012 in SAP (the data includes employees master data and their payroll and tax details).
    my query is,
    1) where to upload old employees monthly payment data from 1990 to 2012?? in which table? can we do it directly without control record?
    2) while processing the payroll we use control record in which we select release, correct, check & exit functions. do we have to do the same thing while we upload the old payroll data through LSMW?
    3) during early stage of company, it started operations at different location (rented office) with different people, most of the people has left the company but some of them are yet available in the company. how can we configure these poeple payroll area and payroll subarea ??

    Its very complicated to upload the payroll results from 1990.Why the client want to upload the payroll results in SAP from 1990 and its best practise that you upload the payroll results from the start of the recent financial year.
    You can upload the Legacy payroll results in table T558B(Period Wise)  and T558(Wagetype wise).

    Hello mlazaretti. Vacation time is awesome. (Especially a road trip!) Since you will be going out for two weeks, you never know if having extra data may come in handy. I highly recommend switching to the next tier up so this way you have more data. This way it is only $10.00 more versus $15.00, and you dont have to worry about overages. Then change back at the start of the next billing cycle.

  • Be careful if you change your Data Plan mid month to save money.

    I have been contacted two times now by phone by Verizon representatives that were overwhelmingly concerned about the amount of money I was spending on my monthly cell phone bill.  Their solution, both times, was for me to switch to a different data plan for the month if I see that I am going to run over my allowance.  For the past few months, I had switched my account to the 6 GB plan because I knew that there was a potential for me to run over because of some work that I was doing.  On the 14th of February I looked at my usage and we had only used 2 GB of data for the month and only had 6 days left in my cycle so I decided to switch back to the 4 GB plan to save money.  Remember, this methodology was recommended by Verizon themselves to save money.
    Lets do some math.  I have used ~2 GB of data on a 6 GB plan.  I switched back to the 4 GB plan with only 6 days left in my cycle.  Anyone with any math skills at all would see that I should have ~2 GB of data to use.  This is not the case with Verizon.  AFTER SWITCHING, I was informed that I only had 0.9 GB of data left because they had prorated my data plan.  It is pertinent to mention at this point that you can only switch one time in a month.  Guess what?  I ran over.  Now it is going to cost me more than it would have because I followed their suggestion.  The worst part is, I will be paying more for the 4 GB plan (with the overrun) than I would have had I left it at the 6 GB plan and for the cycle I will only have used ~ 3 GB of data.  Somehow it almost seems illegal to sell someone 4 GB of data and charge them an overage fee for using 3 GB.
    I called Verizon about this and was very politely told, "So what? and is there anything else I can help you with?"  If this isn't a rouse to make money, there has never been one.
    If a Verizon rep reads this and would like to assist, I would be grateful, but I doubt anyone even cares.  Hank Williams said it best, "I was gettin' s******, but I wasn't gettin' kissed."

    Not sure. The only thing I can think of is if you changed it after the billing cycle closed on the time period where you had the overages.

    can i use the option: IMG -- transfer legacy data.
    how is the procedure for it? if it is wrong, what is the correct and easy way to do it?

    Use LSMW Record/Bapi method.
    If it is middle year go live
    look at this tables T588B ,T588C ,T5U8C and transfer your Payroll results,taxes ,arrears.
