Assignment of task list after the inspection lot status is released

Hi,
I have applied a user status with  which i am able to release the inspection lot.After that i am going to assign a task list. But it is not getting assigned.
please help me.

Key date is same. I have checked for it.
What i am saying is , i have manually updated inspection lot status to release state by applying user status. And after that i am trying to assign inspection task list to the inspection lot.But i am unable to do so.
Can i do this ? Please help

    For the Finished material 04 insp type, Every day we used to generate inspection lots automatically with MB31for 101 mov type.
    generated inspection lot status will be REL bydefault. Today we observed system status is CRTD.
    I have checked any material master/Inspection plan been change or not, but it was not changed.
    Please suggest how this behavior happen suddenly.

    Dear Don,
                    Check in SPRO for inspection type configuration. Some body has changed the 'Task list usage' for Inspection type.
    If you are using '1' and if there is other one except '1' then system will create inspection lot in CRTD status.
    You need to change it manually in QA02 and assigne plan.

  • Inspection lot status BREQ

    i am getting lot status as BREQ - batch assignment required.
    what does it mean? its not allowing me to do the result recording.

    The status that you have mentioned means that batch assignment is mandatory. When the inspection lot was created probably no batch assignment must have happened. This problem i have seen generally when you are making in process inspection against production order, if the batch assignment is not done in production order then a inprocess inspection lot is created without batch and when you try to record the result it asks for the batch number as the material is batch managed.
    This problem will not occur in case of inspection lot created against  good receipt against purchase order or production order, because during the GR, the batch is a mandatory field, and the system does not allow to save the GR (against production order or purchase order) until unless one keys the batch.

    Hello Experts,
    Please share your thoughts on the System Status "UD ICCO SPCO ORRQ". Not sure on why the Lot getting the status ORRQ "Order record required"
    What is the Condition in which the system triggers this Status? how to complete the inspection processing once we get this status? Is it a Particular Configuration setting that expects a Process Order Record?
    Is there any setting in Production that sets the Inspection Lot status as ORRQ.

    Check ur MM- QM view whether QM order is assigned or not. if QM order is assigned then process your order and confirm it and provide the settlement also against that order. Or check any other order is opened against that lot or not Like PP order or PM order which is controlled by ur QM- status profiles.
    once ur order closed technically ur inspection process completed.

  • Inspection lot status not matching R/3 and APO

    Hi,
    I am getting an error in CCR report saying that "The inspection lot is in "released" status in R/3 but not in APO". Here I am giving the steps that I have followed to get this error.Please let me know why this error is coming. Can some give idea about this.
    1.Planned order converted and released (not an early lot create material). 
    2.Good receipt done, inspection lot created.  Rescheduled “in” released process order prior to the original start date, in the planning board.  Dates update in the order in APO successfully,  
    The inspection lot shows in APO as the product is not forward processed.  (The stock will not appear until the usage decision is made.)  There is a CCR report discrepancy, error code 405.  The inspection lot is in "released" status in R/3 but not in APO.

    Sorry for late response.
    Yes,I have made changes to process order dates after GR.
    And I am populating these date changes to Insp. lot in user exit in R/3 and sending that Insp Lot to APO using the function module CIF_ADD_INSPLOT_OUT.
    I can see the date changes in R/3 as well sa APO.But the release status in R/3 is intact and APO is removed.
    This is causeing CCR error 405.

        Inspection lot is created
    Question : Inspection lot status is not updating for Certificate Recived or not
                      My understanding is Inspection lot status should be :CROK -Certificate Recieved

    Pls correct my understanding in case i am missing something

    Is the status in the GR document have the cert field set as 5?
    Since you set the "certificate check required" you must do an explicit check of the cert.  I included below the help screen from this indicator in SPRO.
    You should be able to review the status of your cert in transaction QC53.

    If you set this indicator, at goods receipt the system will generally perform as described in the field "Control without certificate".
    This means that even if you confirm the certificate receipt at goods receipt, and thereby set the status "2 - Certificate received", the system will still perform as specified in the field "control without certificate". See Control without certificate.
    You must explicitly check the content of the certificate recieved at goods receipt and set the status "5 - Certificate filed and inspected ", before, for example, the inspection lot status will be set to CROK.
    You can confirm that you have checked the content of the certificate in the certificate transaction or when making the usage decision.
    Note
    If you have set the indicator and chosen an unsuitable setting in the field "Control without certificate", the goods receipt can be generally blocked.
    This security function is generally used at electronic certificate receipt to check the accuracy of the certificate contents.

  • Inspection lot status to be fetched into BW

    Hello,
    First of all; I am aware that, there are many forums/discussions with regard to fetching of Inspection lot status. I have gathered the points as well.
    Our requirement is to, to extract the Inspection lot status into BW as we are already staging the Inspection lot numbers.
    I got 2 ways to do this,
    1) There is a BAPI FM in ECC to get the Inspection lot status. "BAPI_INSPLOT_GETSTATUS".
    2) Else, we can take QALS-OBJNR & pass it to JEST to get the status numbers. And this needs to be passed to TJ02 for descriptions.
    However, I have doubts about how to extract this status into BW. (As I need to filter out the status' LTCA, CRTD, ICCO).
    1) Can we have an extractor based on the Function module & get data into BW? Is this possible, because since it is a BAPI FM; I wanted to have a clear picture on how to get it.
    2) Can I build a view on top of JEST & TJ02; And apply selection conditions of whatever is necessary & extract it into BW?
    And I don't want to stage the complete data in BW side for JEST & TJ02, as I noticed that there is uncertainly huge amount of data in JEST.
    So, any inputs on how to stage the status into BW will be very helpful for me. Please let me know, if I have missed out any documents/links regarding the same.

    Here is my approach for this requirement
    1) Create  infoobject for each of the status you required for the inspection lot. (It can be flag indicator kind of info object
    2) Make these status navigational attribute of Inspection lot infoobject
    3) Create a generic datasource on QALS . You can use createdon and changedon so as to manage a pseudo delta. Append the datasource extract table with Z fields required to capture your Inspection lot status
    4) Write a Exit in the source system to fetch up the status field for each inspection lot from the JEST table. You can hardcode the status field for eg If Qlot has status I0002 then mark the corresponding append field with X.
    5) Map the append datasource field to the Inspection lot info object through transformation.

    Dear Babu,
    If you  assign specific notification type in notification  configurations, then while doing RR if the defect is located the system will automatically  prompt you for Notification.
    If you find the defect later on production line then against the inspection lot you can raise manual notification referring that LOT.

    need an additional field in QA32 to allot the Inspection lot generated to the Inspector for the purpose of rating the inspectors by running a report.
    Also needs to appear  a drawing document number against the respective inspection lot which should also appear in the reports run at the QA32 screen.

  • Reverse GR after the Quality has passed the inspection lot

    I have a situation where the GR was done, Quality has approved the materail, now we are trying to reverse the GR...the system is giving error when trying to cancel the GR...
    "You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted"

    To be able to reverse a stock posting for an inspection lot, the following conditions must be met:
    A usage decision has been made for the inspection lot.
    The goods in the inspection lot have been posted from inspection stock to blocked stock or unrestricted-use stock.
    If you posted the goods to a stock other than blocked stock or unrestricted-use stock (for example, to scrap), you must first post the stock back to blocked stock before you can reverse the original stock posting
    Reversing Stock Postings  
    Choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods receipt ® For purchase order ® PO number known.
    The initial screen for creating a goods receipt for a purchase order appears.
    In the field for the movement type, enter 102 (goods receipt for a purchase order into warehouse - reversal).
    In the field for the purchase order, enter the purchase order number for the original goods receipt.
    You can copy the purchase order number from the inspection lot.
    Choose Enter to display the selection screen for the purchase order items.
    Select the purchase order item for which you want to create the goods receipt and set the Stock type indicator to the stock to which the goods were originally posted with the usage decision (for example, F for unrestricted-use stock or S for blocked stock).
    Save the goods receipt and exit the Materials Management component.
    Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality inspection ® Inspection lot ® Usage decision ® Change with history.
    The initial screen for changing a usage decision appears.
    Enter the number of the inspection lot for which you previously made the usage decision and choose Usage decision (UD).
    To cancel the inspection lot, choose Usage decision ® Functions ® Cancel lot in the usage decision screen

  • Customer number not in the inspection lot for a make to order scenario

    Hi All,
    I know that standard SAP will get the Customer number into Insp. lot only for insp. types 10/11/12.  I am wondering if someone know a way to get the customer no. into insp. lot for insp. type 04 where the material is make-to-order scenario and the Production/Process order has the Sales order and customer no. without activating User-exit.  The quality users want to be able to see the customer no. in insp. lot without having them to go to process order. 
    It makes no sense to me why the customer no. is not brought into insp. lot when that is available in the Prod/process order, which can further be used to select the customer specific insp. plans for 04 insp. type Insp. lot without using Variant configuration.
    Any light on this topic is appreciated.

    I guess.........
    Normally the inspection lot refers the triggering document that are the trigger cause for them.
    - Inspection type 01: - Purchase Order and GR material document.
    - Inspection type 03: - Pro. Order Number
    The same way...
    The inspection type 10\11\12 are purely related to the SD, and directly integrates QM and SD. Hence in the inspection lot for the inspection types directly integrated to SD, it will furnish the Sales order number \ Customer.
    But the inspection type 04 is purely have it's relation to Production process. So it will have the details related to integrations it has i.e. the "Pro. Order." Hence it integrates QM-PP, it have the data related to PP (Pro Order), not the SD's one.
    But I think one way you can achieve it,
    Assign the Customer number also to the inspection plan along with the Material. So I think at the time of assigning the inspection plan to the inspection lot, it will refer the Customer number also and will display the Customer number along with Task list Group\Group Counter, in the inspection specification screen in QA03/02

    I have created a Calibration order by first creating method, then a MIC, same is attached to a task list and then a Plan.
    But when i trigger a order for that task list the inspection characteristics as mentioned in the task list does not appear in the order.
    Please let me know how to get the inspection characteristics in the order.
    I have checked the task list, in that the Inspection characteristics is visible.

    I have noted one thing, in inspection lot the sample size is shown as zero for the equipment where the inspection characteristic is not being displayed and it is shown as one for the lot where the inspection characteristic is displayed.
    Both the Inspection lot the task list is same

  • HOW CAN WE ASSIGN THREE TASK LIST TO THREE DIFF PRODUCTION ORDER

    we have one material which is used for three places FIRST IN MILL1, 2ND IN MILL2 AND THIRD IN TRIMMER MILL.
    the only thing which differentiate this single material is  the production order. we have 3 different production order but one single material. for this we have created 3task list. my problem is when we create batch and confirm it through co15, the lot reflects in QA32. but is not allowing for USAGE DECESION. For that we have to go to QA02, assign the task list and then again go to QA32 and do the usage decesion. is there any method by which we can assign three task list to three production orders so that qa02 step could be avoid.

    I want to Complete an Inspection Lot 10000000005 In the T-CODE qvm2.When I select the Inspection Lot 10000000005 and press F8 to Complete the Inspection,the SAP show an error message "Status check error".
    And the detail info show that the error was cause by the Status CRTD of the Inspection Lot.I check the Status of the Inspection Lot 10000000005 and found that it's Status was CRTD CHCR SPRQ.My question was how to change the Status CRTD of the Inspection Lot?

    CRTD means ...
    In material master QM vew-inspection setup->Inspect with task list tick is there.
    Now to change status,
    Go to Qp01>create a task list for material(If not exists)>remember date of creation of task list must be prior to date to creation of inspec lot
    If task list is created/exists>go to QA02.<inspection specification -->click on Inspec Spec
    and attach task list
    go to sample tab....click on sample.
    Now save it.
    Status will change to REL
