I didn’t particularly want to watch the World Cup semi-finals this weekend but I’m still suffering a bit from jet lag so I’ve been up and about early in the morning and the TV has been on.

Apple store site has removed the date in June the iPad will be delivered for pre-orders. Apple retail stores have been told to tell customers they will be delivered in June sometime but they (the retail store) are not involved in pre-orders. I've been streaming the tour de france live on versus. I watched both stages last weekend but then updated to quicktime player 7.2 during the week.

it opens quicktime (and I have the latest version of flip4mac) and it just gives me a spinning colour wheel. When I go to force quit the application it tells me the app isn't responding...
Anyone have any ideas? this is doing my head in!

You might look around for a better cooler that runs say 6K RPM's and utilize the switches that I've seen out there to keep it quiet when you aren't power gaming or whatever...I've used ASUS's Q function on one of my machines and it seems to work quite well but I don't trust it enuff yet to leave the BIOS setting on and let it monitor on it's own...I'm surprised that someone hasn't come up with a dimmer switch type of control in place of the 3-position switch I've seen some ppl use...would make more sense and you could get alot more of a precise setting from that than with a switch IMHO of course heheheh

The 'highlights' are things like sports that the BBC has broadcast. You can watch the highlights and interviews. It is on the BBC website:
www.bbc.co.uk/sport
I can't find a way to download them, they may be protected by copyright or such like, if I could then I'm sure I could watch in good quality.
