BCM-CRM IC planification

Hello,
Would someone know if any planification options are enabled by BCM or CRM ? Specifically regarding:
1) IC Production foreplaning
(input : hypothetical input options => output : campaign productivity/average call length/average number of succeeded call/ etc.)
2) Creating and editing planification timetables
(planing per agent and per IC team : call list allocation)
3) Call list allocation depending on periods of absence of agents
Thanks a lot,
Eli

Hi Eli,
Did you find the solution ?
I'm looking for this kind of solution.

  • Add new WorkMode in IC Webclient for telephony

    Hi,
We are implementing IC Webclient on the project and have linked it to a telephony system. The telephony system has got a Supervisor desktop screen where you can view all the advisors logged on adn their status/ workmode.
The standard Workmode settings available for an advisor in IC Webclient is - 'Ready / Not Ready'.
The client would like additional workmode as 'Gone to Lunch / On a Break' etc to be made available for advisors to select.
This will allow supervisor to check on his desktop exactly what the advisor is doing.
    How could this be done.?
can we have custom workmode or wrap up mode for not ready status.
    Thanks
    Richa

    Shwetha,
it may be like you've described in Avaya-CRM integration. But it isn't in BCM-CRM integration. At least with BCM 6.0 and SAP CRM 7.0.
Workmodes in CRM are not the same to BCM PRS profiles (Lunch, Coffebreak, Meeting, etc).
There are several workmodes in BCM CDT: Serving, Paperwork, Afterwork (radiobuttons right under presence profiles dropdown list).
And this is what CRM workmodes correspond to in BCM.
PRS profiles have wider functionality then workmodes. And they are available in BCM only.
Everything above, I believe, is true for SAP BCM 6.0.
But it's better support and integration of PRS in BCM 7.0. Do not know SAP CRM 7.0 EhP1 is required or not, but in [ Note 1569265 - BCM 7.0 Release Note|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1569265] in the chapter 4.1 it's mentioned:
Access SAP BCM absence profiles via SAP CRM Interaction Center UI
Contact Center agent can activate SAP BCM absence type of profile via
SAP CRM Interaction Center user interface making integrated usage
scenario more convenient for the user.

It seems that through the IVR the web service is not even reached. I discovered this by inserting an external break point in the CRM Function Module which is called by the web service.
Can anybody help me in resolving this error? I'm working on BCM 7 SP 6.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Swapna

    Hi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
    Maybe it could help.

    Dawood.

  • CTI - SAP CRM & SAP BCM: ANI does not work in SAP standard

    Hello Experts,
our customer wants to work with a CTI in SAP CRM WebUI Role (Non IC; CEBP).
For the CTI the SAP CRM 7.0 (on HANA) and SAP BCM where itegrated.
We are using the Slim Communication Toolbar as recommended by SAP.
The Problem ist that the ANI (Automatic Number Identification) does not work.
The Callers Number is not identified. Function Module BUPA_SEARCH2 is not called.
No Changes were made in this area. We are completely using the SAP standard.
Has anybody experienced issues related to this one?
It would be great if somebody could give me some help and/or information!
    Thank you!
    Kind Regards
    Martin Gaschk

    Hello Andrei,
the issue was solved by SAP.
The relevant startup component for ANI in the CMS integration profile (Tx CRM_IC_FW_PROF) was inactive:
    Component:
    BUSINESS PARTNER IDENTIFICATION
    Class:
    CL_CRM_IC_FW_BP_SEARCH_SRV
    Thanks for your support!
    Kind regards

  • Software needs on BI CRM BCM

What BI Content requires for SAP CRM and BCM . BCM is intergates with CRM and BI would extract data from CRM .
Or is that other scenario to extract data into BI
What are the software /BI contents needs  in BI perspective.
    Any thoughts will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello Kumar,
SAP BCM reporting data is stored into a datawarehouse database in SAP BCM. This is a standard SQL database. There is a BOBJ Universe available that gives direct access to all standard default reports in SAP BCM and enables building custom SAP BCM reports with BOBJ.
With MS Reporting Services, the same reporting data in SAP BCM datawarehouse database is processed and aggregated further and is stored in OLAP cubes. Those are readable by MS Reporting Services and other BI software.
Finally, there is also an interface that feeds SAP BCM reporting data via the SAPphone RFC interface into SAP CRM and further to SAP NetWeaver BW.
All of the above can be used as a data repository for BI.
    Kind Regards,

  • ICI - How to display custom error messages in SAP CRM

    Hello,
we are working on a custom Contact Center which interfaces with SAP CRM Version 7 with Enhancement Package over ICI.
The basic call functions like accepting, hanging up, holding and retrieving are fully implemented and are working already.
Our goal is to display error messages in the CRM so that clients know there is something wrong, for example why he can't be log in successfully (e.g. the telephony server isn't reachable).
We already found the ICI Documentation file which provides us the CRM SOAP error codes and tried to send SOAP Fault messages, but never got
    them to screen.
Please find an attached example screenshot what we mean exactly, reproduced by trying to make a call with CRM user while BCM CDT isn't
    running in the background.
Regarding to this topic we've the following questions:
    - Is it possible to display custom error messages on the CRM or is this functionality limited to SAP?
    - Could you provide us some further information on how to use this feature exactly (implementation details?) and how the SOAP XML should look like to get it work?
    Thank you in advance!
    Best regards

I need to create an entity adapter and attach an error handler with the adapter? or can i handle that in the event handler itself. I coulnt find any api for handling errorsYou can do it both ways but since we are talking about event handler now, then in 9.x you need to extend com.thortech.xl.client.events.tcBaseEvent class for creating a event handler. In tcBaseEvent class there are various flavors of handleError method. So use that as per my note earlier and you should be good.

  • Email Channel Issue in SAP CC aka BCM

    Hi Team,
I have configured SAP CC Email Channel  in BCM with Integration with CRM IC. When i send mails to the configured Email Queue , i can see the mails coming in SAP CRM IC  and the customer gets identified . But after the interaction is over , i cannot find that ,mail in the CRM . I even checked the SOIN and there are no mails .
I  am not bale to understand how the routing of the email is going . Also i have configured the ERMS rule for the emails , but that rule will only work , when i will find any mail in the SOIN  transaction .
The  email channel form BCM is working fine , but the mail that comes in CRM , doesnt show up in the SOIN transaction
    Require your valuable inputs
    Regards
    Rohit Bhan

    Hi Rohit
There are 2 basic methods of handling emails using CRM and BCM [CC] (or another CMS system):
ERMS Push Integrated - email received in CRM, ERMS handles workflow, pushes item to BCM, and BCM routes item to agent to handle the email in CRM.  Email stays in CRM.
CMS Push through ICI - email received in BCM, and routed to CRM IC to be handled by an agent.
    Email is stored in BCM.
From your description, it would appear that you are using the second scenario, which is less comprehensive than the first. In this, the inbound email is only stored on the BCM side (as i understand it). Reporting wise, all data would be retrieved on the BCM side.
If ERMS should be parsing the email content, the email MUST be delivered in the first instance to CRM, to an address assigned to ERMS Support to initiate the ERMS workflow. In your ERMS rules, you create a routing rule to add the email as an item to a queue (and add skills or other attributes) in BCM to be routed to an appropriate agent.

  • Is possible to Integrate SAP BCM with Third party?

    Hello Everyone,
Some of you can tell me if Is possible to integrate SAP BCM with another solution IBM ITSM?
The integration would also have the screen pop up the same or similar to SAP CRM.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards
    Rodrigo Lucas

    Hi Rodrigo,
    There is the ClientCOM interface!
The interface is an application programming interface (API) to a softphone client Communication
Desktop (CDT). This client application is based on the Microsoft Internet Explorer, and they can
handle telephone calls by using the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology.
This interface defines a subset of the events and commands that are important to third-party
developers. Currently it is used finding out who is calling, and making outbound calls, playing
    files to outbound callers.
You can download ClientCOM interface document in SAP Marketplace.

  • How can one monitor the level of usage of Fact Sheet in SAP CRM?

I am trying to understand how often users are actually using the Fact Sheet utility in our CRM instance.  Anyone know a way to gather this statistic?  Thanks

    Hello
To my knowledge, CRM does not store any statistics. Some telephony software (BCM, Genesys, etc.) provide such statistics. Even I think that BI has a "reporting agent" report.

  • Mail form in SAP CRM campaign

    Hi Experts,
I want to create a MailForm in CRM WebUI .It must be possible for receivers of emails regarding a campaign/event to automatically unsubscribe via e.g. a browser.
I want to implement News Letter Functionality.
Could you please suggest me how to do it?
    Thanks

    Hello Majid,
Since you seem to be using CRM 2006s (CRM 5.1 / CRM 5.2) the easiest solution -- which is actually an out of the box solution -- is to use the ERMS Push functionality provided by SAP. With the ERMS Push solution you first send the emails from the third-party contact center software into the SAP SAPconnect interface (which ERMS uses) instead of into the SAP ICI interface (which real-time push emails normally use). Once inside ERMS you have a chance to use all of the standard functionality like auto-acknowledge and auto-prepare. Then instead of using ERMS to route the email to the Agent Inbox, you pass the email back to the third-party contact center software for routing. A special ERMS action called ERMS Push sends the email back to the ICI interface where it is pushed real time to an agent using the normal routing rules defined by your third-party conctact center software! Then the agent receives the email via real-time push just like normal. When the agent clicks reply in the Email Editor, the system automatically inserts the defined email template (standard response) as defined in the ERMS Auto Prepare action paramter and linked Category Modeler categorization!
Currently I think only Genesys has implemented the ERMS Push interface. However, SAP BCM is also on the way to support this feature. And other vendors such as Avaya and others would also do so on request. Who is your vendor???
    Warm regards,
    John

  • Sizing for SAP BCM (Business Communication Management)

    Hi All
We have to provide a server sizing to be used for SAP BCM (Business Communication Management) module which will be intergrated with SAP CRM and is to be used for call support. As far as we have reached, we require a Windows server and will host MS SQL database with an approx consumer data of 63 lacs consumers.
Please specify the sizing for this server
    Thanks in advance
    Lokesh

Sorry, forgot to ask how much physical memory you have on each host.
Let's split it to 2 topics.
    1. For ECC, since OracleDB and non-unicode page which are the 2 major factors won't be changed, so I would think here we could just do a math, as long as host A has enough memory which is allocated for Oracle and ECC (extended memory) on host B to be added up.
    2. For EP, memory tuning size is basically the same for HP JDK and SUN JDK, that each server node is allocated approximately 2.5GB RAM. Besides, 0.8-1GB RAM needs to be left for OS kernel. But in your case, host B is currently holding 200 users which is a big jump for host A(note: only active user quantity matters here).
That's fine if main physical memory is a little short for host A, utilizing multiple less powerful servers as 2nd tier application server to do the load balancing is also a solution with lower TCO.

  • Can I record customer interaction captured through Hardphone conn. to SAP CRM?

    Hello friends,
I'm currently working on one of the proposals for SAP Contact Center implementation with SAP CRM also supporting Hardphones. Client has this requirement to capture interactions from Hardphone in the form of recordings in CRM system.
I'm aware of BCM softphone having option to record customer interactions both at Client and Server side but the client would like to record hardphone interactions and store in CRM system. How could this be acheived?
Would be of great help if you could share the config documents for the same.
    Thanks
    Chiroy

    Hi Chiroy,
BCM cannot record client interactions without the assistance of a third party application such as Vierent or Nice.  Client interactions meaning the performance of the Agent on his or her personal desktop, such as key strokes and open files etc.
What BCM can do is record all voice packets between the client and the agent.
It will do this with users on a Hardphone, in MTD mode, using Convergence or the CDT.
There is no restrictions to recording unless you make them so.
There is no need for supporting documents as this information is covered in several existing SAP guides.
Also, these recordings once created, can notify CRM of the storage location in BCM and attach the path of the recorded file to the Interaction Record.  This is all done as part of the CAD from BCM. This is option is available via the OII link in BCM but requires CRM customization to work properly.
It should be noted that this recording feature is only active if you have server side recording, not client side.
    I hope that helps.
    Thanks,
    Marcus
