Billing Question for Internet Service

Hello, I was hoping you could answer a few billing questions I have? I ordered only the performance internet (thru XFINITY website) which is offered at $24.99 per month (promo for 12 months). I understand the installation fee for the first bill, but I wonder why1) the breakdown of the installation fee is $30.00 for video and $10.00 for the internet (I only ordered the internet!)2) I subscribed to the internet only but I got a bill including XFINITY bundled services + taxes, surcharges, & fees for the TV service (It also appears on XFINITY my account that I am connected to TV service)  Please help me understand the items in red below.Thank you for your time and consideration. -------------------------------------------------------------------XFINITY Bundled services $50.00 XFINITY Internet $34.99 - performance internet $24.99- wireless gateway $10.00) Other Charges & Credits $40.00- Install fee - video ($30.00)- Install fee - internet ($10.00) Taxes, Surcharges, & Fees $4.98- TV franchise fee $1.70- TV Sales tax $1.42- Internet sales tax $1.86 Estimated Total $79.97

  • Related resource billing. Separeted billing requests for each service order

    !!!!!! Dear Experts, help me!!!!
    The question's urgent!
I need to bill collectively for my service orders, which means I need to combine several service orders into one single billing request (debit memo request) during RRB.
I configured DIP profile, but DP95 creates individual billing requests separately for each service order.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi !
I hope you need to check it in copy control . Because there are some standard things which need to match for combine the invoice. like:-
    1:- Billing date,
    2:- Bill to party
    3:- payment terms,
4:- Bill to party master data ( i.e agree to combine the invoice) etc.
And aslo the copy control from the Order to Billing document in header does it allow you to combine or not.
    Hope it will help you.
let me know if anything required.
    Thanks

  • Is it necessary to create a Billing Plan for the Service Contracts

    Hi All,
Is it necessary to create a billing plan for the service contracts.
      My requirement.
In CRM 7.0, we created a service contract. For the item in that service contract there is a Billing Plan tab.
In that tab we have the dates for Period, Billing Date etc.
Now our requirement is to get the Billing Date quarterly. For this we created date rules and date profiles and assigned these date profiles to header and item level transactions.
And we are able to see the date rules under the drop down of the billing date.
I copied the standard date rule BILL004 to ZBILL004.
But when we changed to our date rule it is not changing to quarterly date.
Can you please let me know  what are the configurations to be done for this.
Is the billing plan has to be created for this kind of scenario.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raghu

  • If you get an iPad with the 3G do you have to pay for internet service?

If you get an iPad with the 3G do you have to pay for internet service?

No. But you have to purchase a data plan in order to use the iPad via the 3G connection. Some 3G iPad owners do not have internet service at home and rely only on the 3G connection.
If you do not purchase a data plan to use with the 3G, then you will only be able to use your iPad where you can find a WiFi connection - like at a library, or a Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, a friend's house that has WiFi .....

  • Billing Problem: Tax and Franchise Fee for Internet Service

As I said it's likely not fixed. They likely just issued a one time credit to offset the charges, but the charges will just be back next month. I already said agents have no control over taxes.

I am currently being charged tax and a franchise fee for my internet only service. I do not have cable/TV service. I have verified this fact with two Comcast representatives. However, my account as it appears online shows that I have cable/tv service. As per H.R. 3086 - 113th Congress (2013-2014), Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act - Amends the Internet Tax Freedom Act to make permanent the ban on state and local taxation of Internet access and on multiple or discriminatory taxes on electronic commerce.  Therefore, since the Comcast representatives verify that I have only Internet service, the tax and franchise fees on my bill are illegal. On numerous occasions I have requested that this error be addressed, and now I am resorting to this forum for some help before I file a complaint with my local utilities and other regulatory boards. My wish is not to create a problem for Comcast. I simply wish for my bill to be corrected and reflect only the legal charges associated with my account. Thus far, no Comcast representative has been able to address or correct this problem.

  • Is there people who are having trouble with 4GLte for internet service?

I signup for the service and I am sorry that I did ,it is so slow that I have regress back to when the internet started, the battery life is lousy it does not last
very long. I should have stayed with Cable. Sales people are not very truthful.

    Hello manyhats,
I would like to help you.  I will need to ask a series of questions to assist.  What type of device do you have?  Has the speed always been the same since you received your device or did this just begin?  What city, state and zip are you experiencing this in?  Does this happen every where you go or in a specific location?  How long is the battery lasting after a full charge?  Please respond to the previous questions so I may further understand and assist.  Thank you.

  • Billing Issue for CRM Service Order

    Hi Gurus,
I have a question regarding the BPP C69 which is a complete scenario of Service Management. I did complete the config guide C26 which is a pre-req.
I created service quotation, Service order, and Techinician confirmed that service order. In step 4.7 in C69 says that in ECC, I can see the corresponding document in billing due list through VF04 transaction...I executed but I am not able to see any transactions. But I checked in ECC, using T Code IAOMC and I am able to see all the documents which I created.
And I checked the item categories in CRM and they are set for External Billing which is through ECC. Can anybody tell what I am missing. Or is there anyway I can make this Billing work in ECC.
    Please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Sharath.

    Hi Raj,
Actually the issue, we'll have 3 kind of materials.
    1) Sales Material,
    2) Service Material
    3) Service Spare Material.
When I did the config guides, they mapped 3 item categories in CRM but in ECC they mapped only for Sales Material. That's why my order which has only service material is not replicated as soon as I added a Sales material...it replicated.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Sharath.

  • BT has billed me for incomplete services!

    Dear Sir/Madam!
I have received my bt router on 18.02.2015, paid for that 6.95, on same day my internet was supposed to work, however it wasn’t, which means the service the bt was offering wasn’t functional however you (bt) thinks that this is acceptable and even if the service is not working 100% they can charge 16.99 the customer.
An example, if the broadband isn’t working for half of the year customer still have to pay line rental which in this situation is abuse of powers, because you are not providing full service, incomplete, broken service and this is not a customer’s fault, this is very poor customer service and planning from bt.
I start to think that BT was dragging the time, I think that you did that on purpose and didn’t fix that in time so you could charge me for that, or maybe I’m wrong, if so, than prove that.
I’m requesting to return my money back from 18.02.2015 – 31.03.2015 all my money not only for broadband, because that’s a robbery, stealing money for the incomplete services, if you can’t provide 100% services, than don’t give them and don’t charge and you will avoid unhappy customers.
    Currently I’m really dissatisfied.
I’m giving you time till the end of this month 30.04.2015 to come back with a solution.
    Sincerely,
    unsatisfied customer.

  • BT bill charges for non service during moving hous...

BT dreadful customer service & incompetence
    Hi all,
After deciding to move home I made the necessary arrangements with BT prior to our moving date. Our switch over date was 14th November 2014.
After numerous calls with BT and mostly dealing with multiple BT operators with little knowledge, poor communication skills, lack of interest and on a few occasions extreme rudeness, I was still no further forward with a line connection date.
It became apparent that there was no line services to my new home, which I could understand although I was disappointed not to have been informed of the situation prior to my moving home (a fact BT should be easily aware of)
I spent weeks going round and round with no clear outcomes or specific information returning to me, I actually knew more information from the site builders than BT knew, BT even had the arrogance to tell me that my information from the builders was incorrect (which it wasn't)
Numerous misinformation, conflicting information, non returning of calls, engineer dates that were not upheld, non required engineer dates are amongst a series of frustrating dealings with the vast majority of the BT operators, there were only a few operators that seemed to care and assist and they were at the end of my ordeal of 3 months!!!!!
It was very clear that the information from each phone call between myself and BT was not correctly recorded. On two separate occasions during a singular phone call I actually had to repeat my situation to three separate operators to which I had become accustomed to being transferred amongst.
So to be clear from 14th November 2014 until late February 2015 we were without services.
During one of my many and expensive mobile phone calls to BT I was advised to set up my own mobile broadband and they would foot the bill and repay the expense until they provided a service.
(Which I did as I had no confidence in a connection date within months)
Throughout this ordeal BT had the arrogance to attempt to bill me, even though we had no service!!!!
    Here is the kicker.
BT have now disconnected us from their service (31st March2015) for an unpaid bill, a bill we can't get amended and corrected to reflect the 3 months without their incompetent service.
They have even added charges for BT sports which I can't even watch as I have no viewing box, I believe this came free for 6 months) with my original package.
Even this is an issue. I was informed upon moving house that a new contract would commence when I moved home thus starting the 6 months free BT sports package once more (yet another mistake by BT)
We will not pay any form of bill until they amend and correct the bill to reflect we had no service for 3 months.
I have now tried to call to speak to an operator regarding the issue, after entering my home phone number the BT automated service redirects me to the only option which is to pay the outstanding bill!!!
No bill will be paid until it is corrected, I will be sending a bill for the mobile broadband I required to set up and maintain. I am also considering looking into the loss of earnings I suffered due to the length of time I was offline, as well as the amount of time required to deal with the sorry mess. A stressful time enough moving home without this added fiasco.
I am also aware of the Ofcom regulatory body as well as the multiple rules BT will have breached in our contract.
All in all we have endured a long and needlessly complicated mess, which thinking was behind us, is in fact still present. We are seriously considering removing our service completely with BT which I am sure in the eyes of the law will be justified and legally binding due to the numbers of contract breaches sustained by BT.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.

  • I have a Verizon card for Internet service and am trying to set up my new iPad. During the setup iPad recognizes my wireless but can't connect.  Any suggestions?

Updated product info .  Trying to set up Internet in new iPad using a Verizon wireless card.

A wireless card won't help. For set up, you need to connect to a wireless router, or via cable to a computer running itunes.

  • I just signed up for Internet service

[edited for privacy-please do not post personal or unique information such as but not limited to full names, employee ID numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, etc.] is my order number. Can you tell me when I will receive my router and when it will be activated? Well there be instructions on how to set it up? Is my Internet unlimited? These things were not disclosed.

In addition to contacting them as suggested above, you can check the status of your order by going to -
    https://www.att.com/order_status/
If you ordered self install, it should include a tracking number(on the order status page) to track the shipment of your equipment.
It will have a setup guide for the device that you receive.
If you ordered AT&T DSL, there is a 150 GB internet cap(with the ability to purchase more usage). If you ordered AT&T U-verse, there is a 250 GB internet cap(but, it's not entirely enforced at the moment).
