Biztalk new Project Open Error

I have installed Biztalk 2009 on Windows 2008 SP2 , and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. When I try to create a new Biztalk Project with Empty Biztalk Project Template i am getting the following error. The error states that
MSBuild\Microsoft\Biztalk\Biztalkc.Targets: The imported project file could not be loaded, root element is missing. Then I try to open the Targets file nad the actual project file in a Notepad, but in vainn, nothing is there in both the
file though the file sizes are not 0 bytes. Please advise me how tho resolve ths issue.

Hi All,
I was struggling with the similar issue. You may find my resolution helpful.
1st of all, i was facing the issue while opening a soure code teaken from some other server to my local server where i didnt have the VSS connectivity.
After great  struggle finaly I did 2 things which worked for me and I could open the solution.
1. removed all .user and  . vssscc file from my  local code copy (not sure if this helped)
2. replaced BizTalkC.targets and BizTalkCommon.targets in "C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\BizTalk" with the same target files taken from the server where my source code was opening without any issue. (this did help;-) )
Hope this works for others too.

  • Just installed Premiere and can not open a new project, database error

Everytime I try to open a new project i get a Database is "Failed to perform the database operation as the Organizer database is busy.  Please try again later."
    Anyone had this problem yet?

Of prime importance...what version of Premiere Elements are you working with and on what computer operating system is it running on?
So, right now a lot of generalizations
    1. Close all opened projects and programs.
    2. Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of computer desktop to bring up Task Manager/Processes. Look for and End Process for any traces of Premiere Elements and/or Elements Organizer whose process remained opened after you closed the program.
    3. Open Premiere Elements to its Splash screen where hopefully you will see tabs for Organizer and Video Editor. Hold down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys of the computer main keyboard (altogether) as you do a left mouse click hold down on the Organizer tab for about 15 seconds. After that time, release just the mouse click hold down. Wait for a message about deleting the preferences/settings file. Click Yes to the message that should appear. Unhold the Ctrl+Alt+Shift, and then click on Organizer or Video Editor and try to open the Video Editor or Elements Organizer sections of the program without error.
    4. Did that work for you? If not, please supply more details.
We are looking forward to your follow up with the outcome and getting your issue resolved.
    Thanks.

  • How to make EVERY new project open with 48k SAMPLE RATE?

Is there a way to set 48k as my sample rate default setting for all new projects I create or do I have to set it manually on a per project basis?
    Thanks!

Might as well save 5 or 6 screen sets with your custom template. That's going to save you a lot of time setting up new projects.
Yes, good call! Anything to make life easier. This is why I'm moving towards doing all my projects in 48k. Since it's the standard for working with video,I figure why not just move all my projects up to it so I don't ever have to think about it again

    Ali,
Sounds like the xml for the View Object is out of synch with the xml for the Entity Object on which it is based. Do you use any version control system so that you can go back to an older, working version? If not, try removing the DepartmanView View Object and re-creating it.
Or, perhaps your EO (EntObjDepartman) is missing an attribute (DepartmanAdi)- try adding it.

  • JDev 9.0.3.1035 New Project Wizard Error

I tried to run the File ~ Projects ~ Project from existing war(.war) file Wizard on JDev 9.0.3.1035 on win2000. On Step 1 of 2 it asks for the Directory Name and File Name of the project. I get the following error when trying to enter the path. Is there any way a fix can be created for this.
    Directory Error
The directory file C:\Program Files\Oracle\JDeveloper 903\jdev\mywork\xxxxxxx99999999\struts-documentation is invalid. The path may contain illegal characters, may be too long or may not be accessible.
I'm pretty sure it's because of the length since when I shorten it, it works okay. It would be helpful to have longer directory structures possible.
    Thanks
    Bret

This is a bug (2776374) in the 9.0.3 and 9.0.3.1 production releases. It will not allow you to enter a directory path longer than 80 characters in certain dialogs.
The bug will be fixed in the 9.0.4 release.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • JDev 9.0.3.1035 New Project Wizard Error #2

I tried to run the File ~ Projects ~ Project from existing war(.war) file Wizard on JDev 9.0.3.1035 on win2000. On Step 2 of 2 it asks for the WAR File and and the Root Directory for the Web Module.
When I browse to the .war file, It doesn't let me select the war file. It instead drops down into the war file like its a directory instead of a file? There is an Open Button, not a Select button on the form.
If I type the path in, It works fine.
    Thanks
    Bret

    Hi Brian,
Thanks for your response on all my questions! I'm not sure I follow what your saying on this one? All I've done is downloaded the Jakarta Struts Project and I'm creating project in JDev to each of the .war files that they distribute. In JDev, I don't see any other .war files within the *.war directory? If I look at this in Win Explorer, I just see a single file and need to use Winzip(or something similar) to look at the contents. JDev automatically lets me drop down into that war file?
    For Example:
The struts-blank.war has the following directory structure:
    WEB-INF/classes
    WEB-INF/lib
    META-INF
I do not see any other .war files in any of these within JDev?
    Thanks for your help!!

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 8 Can't finish installing Air Runtime Process, and Can't open New Project!

    Hey guys,
I'm having some major issues installing PE8.  I can open the installer screen fine, and it installs fine until it gets to installing the Air Runtime Process.  I have left it downloading that one process for about 5 hours, and i'm not exaggerating.  Finnally, I get too mad waiting for it to finish that I exit out of the installation process.  Even though the installation was never fully finished, for some reason I do have a Desktop icon for PE8.  I click on that and it opens the splash screen with the buttons "New project", "Open Project", and "Organize".  When I try to open "New Project" it begins loading the files that it needs to to open it.  When it gets to loading the Windows Media file, it freezes and then crashes.
I have uninstalled the PE8 and reinstalled it about 5 times now.  I have also used the Windows Cleanup program to clean these corrupted files out of my system before reinstalling.  I have called in twice now to the technical support and they haven't helped me one ounce.  Any answers would be appreciated!  Thanks
    Thanks Again,
    Spencer

  • Error while opening a new project

    Hello,
Our team has been working on RoboHelp 7 for some time now. I recently joined the team and they had asked me to work on RoboHelp 8 and give them a presentation on the same. I downloaded a trail version of RoboHelp 8 and installed it.
    Problem:
When I open RoboHelp 8 and select Application Help or Blank Project, I start getting errors (I have tried all other options too with no luck).
    Process:
    Open RoboHelp 8
Select "Application Help" under "Create New"
    On Clicking "Finish"
    The following errors occur
And so on... It continues with a lot of other errors.
Any suggestion on how to open a new project with out these errors will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Calcasmy.

You wouldn't necessarily be aware of the problems when installing. Have you specifically checked with your IT that they do not store your profile on the network. That bit is important.
Then try http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/installing/installing.htm and see the Problem Installations section. One link helps with installs that have failed and the other removes installations more deeply than the programs own uninstall routine. You may need to install again for RevoUninstaller to work.
I suggest you work with IT using either of the links.
See www.grainge.org for RoboHelp and Authoring tips

after opening a new project, there is just a grey "PremiereElements" Screen. If I then open the project I just created, an error message appears "severe error... shut down... try to save new project".
    Measures to toubleshoots already taken:
    - reinstall premiere and photoshop elements
    - delete all elements files from users and program folder
    - install all updates
    - verify latest version of quicktime.
I am new in this forum and hope, I did not miss an already existing discussion. If so, please do not hesitate to lead me to this discussion and sorry in advance.

For now I am assuming that you are running Premiere Elements 9 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit......and, that the problem exists with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.....
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 9 running on? Have you installed the 9.0.1 Update for the program? If not, please do so from the following link from Adobe
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4929
You can install the above even with Premiere Elements 9 closed.
Can we assume that you did that when you wrote
    - install all updates
Did you delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file, and, if that did not work, the whole 9.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists?
Can we assume that you have when you wrote
    - delete all elements files from users and program folder
When was the last time you used the program successfully?
When you did the uninstall/reinstall, did you do the sequence
    1. Uninstall via Control Panel
    2. free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts)
    CCleaner - Download
    3. reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled
Let us start here and then decide what next based on your details.
    Thank you.

  • Pre8: New projects freeze program, opening project error.

I've recently discovered a problem on Premiere Elements 8. Whenever I try to create a new project, I click "Ok" on the opening dialog, but after that the program freezes.Whenever I try to open a project, a warning box says that it can't open Pro projects on Elements, though the project was created on Elements. And when opening Elements Organizer, it crashes right after opening. My computer is a Pentium 4, 2 CPU 2.60 GHz, 768MB RAM, 500GB HDD, nVIDIA Ti 4600 graphics, and Windows XP Professional SP3. I just ran a virus scan, and defragmented the drive but it still won't work.

How much free, defragmented space do you have on your HDD?
Is your video driver the very latest?
Is your QT Player the latest version?
For a computer with marginal power, this ARTICLE on setting it up for an editing session might be useful.
    Good luck,

  • Can't open new project or picture in Photoshop CS4 Extended

    Hello!
I was trying to work on some pictures today on my mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 in my Ps CS4, but when I tried to open a new project I got this error message "Fatal error - missing component /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.framework". And indeed this file didn't exist on my computer. "The Adobe Version Cue CS4" folder didn't exist. I'v tried to find help on the web but haven't found anything. Is this a common problem or am I one of the few people who's got it. Does anyone have a solution to it? I could mention that the computer I'm working on now is not the original computer it was installed on. I've changed up for a regular macbook to a macbook pro and transferred the hardrive to the new one. May this be the reason?
    Best regards Ludvig G

Make absolutely certain you have the utterly useless Version Cue disabled in any place where it may appear in Photoshop's and Bridge's Preferences.  I haven't used CS4 for years, so I can't tell you the exact location.
Even better, don't even install Version Cue if you Uninstall and re-install CS4. Adobe has totally abandoned, and even when CS4 was new, the advice from Adobe engineer was not to use Version Cue at all.

  • APE 9.0; Unable to open new project.

I cannot open a new project in APE 9.0; If using the tab on the welcome page, I cannot enter a name; if using the file menu, I can enter a name, but the OK button is non-responsive. Any suggestions?

Is this a problem were "it worked before but does not now" or "it never worked before"?
For now I am assuming Windows 7 or 8 64 bit, and my details will go to Premiere Elements running on that....
Have you installed the Premiere Elements 9.0.1 Update for Premiere Elements 9? If not, first order of business.
You can make the installation with Premiere Elements 9 closed and use the online download from Adobe to your computer:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4929
Then right click the desktop icon for Premiere Elements 9, select Properties, and then click the Open File Location. That will take you to the Adobe Premiere Elements 9.exe file (file now taking you to the Welcome Screen). Right next to it is the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file. Right click the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file, select Send to and then "Desktop (create shortcut) and then close out of there. Open Premiere Elements 9, thereafter using this new desktop icon which is used to bypass the Welcome Screen and some processes.
Then see if you can open a new project and set the project preset in the New Project dialog, opening from the new Desktop icon to bypass the Welcome and with the 9.0.1 Update installed. If you could have gotten into the opened project, you could have gotten to the update via Help Menu/Update.
We could have you delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs File or do a complete and clean uninstall/reinstall, as well as work from details of your computer operating system etc., but let us start here. Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 was particularly notorious for display card error messages, so we might end up getting into video card driver updates and/or baddrivers.txt file deletion.
But let us start here and then determine what next.
    Thanks.

  • 'serious error' when creating a new project in adobe premiere elements 10

    Hello,
I saw similar questions on the forums but not quite what is happening with me.
First off I should say i've never had this working however the copy of premiere elements 7 we had worked perfectly fine. I am a technician in a school and i'm trying to install the software for the students (we have lots of lisences). The software appears to install perfectly fine and the launcher works. I click to create a new project (or open an old one) premiere appears to load up correctly. It only crashes once I click to browse for a location to save the file.
The error message says, as i've noticed seems to be a generic message for any error on premiere: "Sorry, A serious error has occured that has caused Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project"
At first I thought this was student user rights (as students do not have access to C:\) however I have since tried it with my own admin account which has full rights and effectively should be able to do anything and it still continues to crash.
The stations I am working with are:
    Operating System
MS Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3
    CPU
    Intel Pentium E5200  @ 2.50GHz
    Wolfdale 45nm Technology
    RAM
    2.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 400MHz (6-6-6-18)
    Motherboard
    Intel Corporation DQ43AP (CPU1)
    Graphics
    PLE2008HDS (1600x900@60Hz)
    Intel(R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset
    Intel(R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset
    Hard Drives
    156GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD161GJ (SATA)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide some insight on this matter
    ~ Ash

These previous discussions are not necessarily about PreElements, but they are about problems with trying to run on a network (which no flavor of Premiere is designed to do)

  • Error when starting a new project in Premier Elements 11

When I open Premier Elements 11 and select Video Editor - New Project, I keep getting an error that says, [..\..Src\Core\Preferences\cpp-338].  When I click on the Continue button, I get a Runtime Error and the application closes.  It doesn't stop running, though.  I have to stop it in the Task Manager Processes screen.
I have Windows XP SP3, and I have installed all the latest Windows updates, I have updated my Java version, I have defragmented my hard drive, I have run a disk clean up application, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times over with the DVD, and I have Quicktime installed with its latest updates.
I worked with an Adobe support tech yesterday who worked with my system a little, but he left me hanging and didn't call me back today.
I paid money for this application and desperately need it for my job.  I hope someone can help me.
    Thanks,
    A very frustrated customer.

For Networked home folders (aka Personal folder), here's a work around script that you are free to use.  (Based on AJohnF's suggestion.)
The Script verifies if the current domain user has an 'J' drive if not, it starts APE, if there is a home folder assigned to the domain user...
It temporarily changes the User Shell Personal folder registry.
Starts Adobe Premiere Elements and waits for it to close.
Once APE is closed it will change the registry back.
You can remove the ' in front of the msgbox lines to get prompts along the way for testing.
Create a new desktop shortcut that will point to the "Start Premiere 11.vbs" (or whatever you called it)
We deployed it via SCCM and replaced the existing desktop shortcut for APE with new shortcut. Deployment of script and desktop shortcut could be done via computer startup, preferences, SCCM it up to you.
Change the "J:\" and "J:\My Videos" to match your environment.

  • Premiere Elements 12 won't open a new project

I recently installed premiere elements 12.  It is the first time install of any version of this software.  When I open the program and click on Video Editor, then New Project ...a black and purple ribbon scrolls for about 2 minutes, then nothing.  I have a Dell Inspiron One2305 running Windows 7 - 64 bit, AMD 2.8 Ghz processor.  I have 4 gb of RAM and 916 gb of hard disk space.  Reading through suggestions, I have tried the following without success:
    1.  I updated the driver for the AMD 4200 Video Driver.
    2.  I loaded the software as the administrator, but I unstalled, then created a new administrator account,  and reinstalled under the new administrator account.
I'm not a techie by any means, but I can follow directions pretty well.  Any help is appreciated.

This is my processor:  AMD Athlon II X2 240e
I also loaded the latest version of Quicktime today (forgot to put that in my "what I already tried")
I just ran the Windows Update and one failed with this error:  Code 800B0100 Windows Update Encountered an Unknown Error.  When I click Get Help with This Error, nothing runs.
Running Disk Clean up and Defrag now.
