Hi juniorobeng and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Have you tried removing then re-inserting your battery to see if that resolves the issue with your camera?
Thanks.

  • BlackBerry Z10 camera not working....

Hi, I just bought a new BlackBerry Z10 mobile 2 months back,.. but suddenly the camera stopped working.... When ever i open the camera, there's a message displayed as " The Camera can't be started ". Can some one help me out of this...

Sorry it's against the forum guidelines, it's pretty clear if you search the forums from the site I mentioned.
Previous attempts to do so have quickly been removed.
I will mention that it possibly invalidates your warranty doing this and definitely does if you install a leaked OS in its entirety.

    1. Auto-focus is available alongside touch to focus, which is enabled by dragging the UI target to where you want to focus . Read More Here :- http://crackberry.com/feature-focus-blackberry-z10-camera
    2. Z10 has a feature that makes the Call Silent if you touch on Screen , Have you noticed that maybe you mistakenly touch the Screen .

  • Blackberry Z10 does not want to come on!!

My BlackBerry Z10 died and I didn't have the chance to charge is so I left my phone in my bag until I got home from my trip. When charging the phone it started up as normal until the part where it loads, normally when touching the screen it tells you what % it is at but it just kept thinking!! I left my phone like that and still it's doing the same thing. I've taken the battery out for a whole day, still no help!!
What do I do?? Is it the phone inside?? I did not drop the phone, been in my bag like it's always been, hard cover to protect it. I really need help, please!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If that fails, please redo it all, but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Blackberry Z10 does not display all Facebook Contacts or PIctures

    Hello,
I am having an issue with my new Z10 where it isn't displaying all of my FB contacts or any display pictures for the contacts that are actually displayed.
I have tried wiping the phone and starting over (re-syncing accounts and info, etc) but nothing works.
Some contacts are displayed, but not all. And the ones that are displayed have no display pictures.
    Please help.

    Hey browneyedpetal,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
If you connect via Wi-Fi, do the contacts load up?  Also just to clarify are you looking at the contacts in the Facebook application or the synchronization with your current contacts on the BlackBerry Z10?
I look forward to your reply.
    Cheers.

  • Blackberry Z10 is not booting

I am getting the following error while reloding software using Blackberry link "An error has occurred while downloading the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. Please try again.". Please help me to solve this problem.

Your Z10 is not booting, is that the root issue?
Do you see any red LED at the top right?
Try this, please, connect your Z10 to the wall outlet charger.
Leave it connected a couple hours to charge fully.
Then, LEAVE it connected to the charger and remove the battery and reinsert...
What happens on screen and with the LED?

  • Blackberry Z10 wifi not getting turned on

I have a Blackberry Z10 dev alpha b device with os version:10.2.1.3062. I'm not sure if an update occurred or not but recently the wifi in the device doesnt gets turned on. When I turn on wifi from settings it shows wifi on but there are no networks available and as soon as I come back from the settings the wifi shows off. I've tried re-installing the os, also now updated to 10.3.1 but the issue still persist. Is this a problem with hardware? Any other work around. I'm now planning to flash firmware as well but if you have any other solutions please let me know.

Do you have the 3G or original iPhone (not sure if it makes a diff). My 3G does not do that... my wifi stays on. Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-10 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

  • Advanced Camera Settings for BlackBerry Z10 Camera

When I see Apps like ProShot and Nokia Camera and the features they provide on Windows Phones, I really feel that a lot could be done with the BlackBerry 10 Camera. The BB10 Camera still lacks the features like setting the ISO and Stutter Speed as we could do in manual mode in even cheap Nokia Lumia Phones.
Is there by any chance possible for BlackBerry to introduce these advanced features to BlackBerry 10 Camera in future updates?

  • Z10 Camera Not Working

    Hey Guys,
I'm having a problem with my BB Z10 device.  A few weeks back I updated my phones software to OS 10.3.1.1779. Since then my camera is not starting. Shows a message "The camera can't be started due to hardware issue or insufficient permissions
My phone never fell off from any where or is damaged. Even I use a limited number of apps so no permission problem should happen. Not a clue. Even my manager has the same phone and just after the OS updated he has the same issue. He has tried securuty wipe and as well. Nothing happens same problem. I can't take pictures or selfies. Just imagine how horrable things are. Can someone help. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Firstly to let you know, I'm using BB OS 10.3
OK thanks...but do note that OS levels are always 4 octets, not two. Plus, be sure you are looking at the correct item...Software Release <> OS Level.

I'd be great if you could confirm that if I can do the security wipe using my phone and then carry on.
I cannot confirm that will work...every situation is different, and we are forever working from incomplete information. It might work for you, or it might not. I cannot predict the outcome. However...
    asarkar wrote:
Secondly, I used the automatic download when it popped up on my hub informing that a new software update has been released
With that, it is clear you use one of the automatic methods, which are controlled by your carrier as to versions available to you. It is completely possible that BB has released something newer than that, but until your carrier approves, the automatic methods won't offer it to you.
There are known issues of using the automatic methods...not for everyone, but enough to make it a known issue. Further, there are issues with some of the specific 10.3.1.xxxx OS versions released recently, which have been addressed in later versions. The typical fix to either of these issues is to reload the OS, and perhaps use unofficial methods to do so as they will allow you to bypass your carriers controls and install any OS level you desire to your device.
Be sure you start with a solid backup, including full documentation of your accounts, added apps, configurations, etc. just in case you hit another rare situation where restoring from a backup causes problems to return. To be very conservative you'd want to obtain a 3rd party backup utility (e.g., Ultimate Backup) and back up your data to your media card.
The official methods for OS reloading are:

    The unofficial methods are:

I'm not sure how up to date that library of AutoLoaders is, but here's a good one that I use as reference for OS levels that are available:

  • Blackberry z10 will not post yearly recurring appointment

I know this may sound like a Blackberry issue but bear with me. We are using Novell Data Synchronizer with z10 Blackberry to Groupwise 8. When a user attempts to create a yearly recurring appointment on the z10, the first appointment appears on the z10 calendar and then about 15 seconds later disappears. All future yearly appointments remain visable, but the first appointment in the series is disappearing. Weekly-daily recurring appointments work fine. The local calendar on the z10 works fine. It appears to me that there is a faulty algorithm with the syncing of the yearly appointments. Blackberry recommended a security wipe which does not correct the problem. The only way to circumvent the problem is to create the yearly recurring appointment and start it with a date exactly one year in the past. The reason I suspect the Novell sync is due to the local calendar working, and the initial appointment shows on the z10 but then disappears after the synchronization with Novell. I may be missing a setting with Groupwise or Novell. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  • BlackBerry Z10 3G not connecting Automatically

Hi, I recently purchased Z10 and i am using BB Services from the provider. I noticed a strange problem that Z10 fails to connect to 3G when i go out from office or home. in both places i have Wifi and Z10 connects to it as soon as i enter to the coverage area. When i go out, it normally connects to the 3G from the provider. Sometimes it doesnt. it shows small 'h' in the signal status with full coverage. I believe Captial H must be the 3G coverage with full speed. When i try to access the mails i realized that there is no connection when it is 'h' in the signal status. at the same spot, i restarted my Z10 and it connects to 3G with capital H in the signal status. So it needs restarts to connect to the 3G whenever its signal changed to 'h'. Are there anyone facing such issues? please help

  • BlackBerry Curve camera not opening

for both the camera and video the message pops up 'could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening camera again' but I have no applications open and I have tried restarting the phone, and I also took out the battery and restarted that way and nothing worked... I am sure its simple but I can't get my finger around it at this time and its frustrating can someone help me please?

This is usually due to a faulty camera module. You can try pressing down around the camera lens area to try and seat the camera module. If that doesn't work the camera module would need to be replaced. Usually, if you're not good at small electronics repair this may cost more than the device is worth. If the device is less than a year old you should contact your carrier for warranty replacement.
