Block Purchase Order quantity and price based on BOM and Production quantity respectively

Hi Everyone,
Hope you can help in my first project in sap b1.
My client requires that when a purchase order of subcon materials has been created it will get the 'price' from BOM row level unit price and 'quantity' from Production order row level quantity. My questions is if i there is a way to limit(block the document from addition) when does values has been changed greater than the reference document value? if ever, how?
I'm new with SAP B1 and still learning.
Im using SAP B1 9.0 PL 7 with Australian localization
Thank everyone in advance!

Hi,
Try this :
IF @transaction_type in ('A','U') AND (@OBJECT_TYPE='22')
BEGIN
If exists (SELECT t3.docentry FROM OWOR T0  INNER JOIN WOR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry left join POR1 T2 on T2.[U_JONum] = T0.[OriginNum] and  T0.[ItemCode] =  t2.U_SubConItem] INNER JOIN OPOR T3 ON T2.DocEntry = T3.DocEntry WHERE T1.[PlannedQty] <> T2.[Quantity] and  T1.[ItemCode]  = 'subcon' and  T3.DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del )
Begin
SET @error = 10
SET @error_message = 'Not allowed to add more than planned'
End
End
Thanks & Regards,

  • Purchase Order Allowed to Modify After Material Posting and Invoice

    Hi Experts,
Why do SAP allows the scenario to change the Purchase Order once Material Document is posted and Invoice is Created unlik Sales Order? Do we have any business scenarios reagarding allowing the PO change?
Thanks for the Clarification. Hopefully I will be enlightened by SAP's behavior in the Purchasing Process.

    Hi Cecilio,
PO is changable even after GR and IR has been completed. If the invoice has been received or the goods have been paid for, and your intended change affects the price, the change will be ineffective.
Please refer to the Online documentation, MM Purchasing -> Purchase Orders -> Changing, Cancelling, and Blocking Purchase Orders.
Also if you want to delete the PO, when all the procurement process is finished, it must be possible to delete the PO item for archiving purpose for example.
You can see the on-line help on that matter:
"You cancel items in a purchase order by deleting them. Please note that an item may only be deleted if it is closed (that is
to say , there is no outstanding quantity to be delivered or invoiced). Items are regarded as closed if, for example:
    · the ordered quantity (or more) has already been delivered
    · the ordered quantity has been invoiced in full
    · no related follow-on processes (such as reservations) are active
      in the stystem."
    Hope this can help

  • How to block an order if the price is too low?

    Hello,
    My problem is :
How to block an order if the price is too low?
I created a new type of condition ZMIN and an access by material.
When the net price is below the minimum price the system must position the order on incomplete document for error of price.
    Thank you in advance.
    Frédéric Blaise
    e-Kenz S.A.

    Hello,
you can enter a lower limit in the condition record:
Lower limit of the condition rate/amount
Indicates whether, during document processing, the system checks if manual changes fall short of the lower limit allowed for the corresponding condition record.
    Use
When you maintain the scales in a condition record, the system checks whether the scale value falls below the lower limit.
Or you can use the flag 'conditon update'.
    Condition update
Controls whether limit values are relevant for pricing.
E.g.: you can make the use of a particular condition record in the document dependent on a specified total value.
This total value can be specified in the condition record.
I hope that the information are helpful.
    With best regards

  • How to get Sales Text & Purchase Order Text in MM based on (MSEG-MATNR)

    Hi
Am working on a Report based on Purchase order & Sales, Could any body tell How to get Sales Text & Purchase Order Text in MM based on (MSEG-MATNR).
the Field i need to get are : SALES TEXT, PO TEXT.
    Sunil.

    Hi Sunil,
For getting Material PO text and sales text, you have to rely on Purchase Order and Sales Order. And use READ_TEXT function module to fetch the text.
Below are examples of PO text and Sales Text:
    1. PO text:
        CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
         EXPORT
           ID = 'F03'
           LANGUAGE = SY-LANGU
NAME = '450000011200010' conacte PO number and line item number
           OBJECT = 'EKPO'
         TABLES
LINES = INT_TLINES "you will get text in this table
    2. Sales order text:
            CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
         EXPORT
           ID = '0001'
           LANGUAGE = SY-LANGU
NAME = '0000000036000010' conacte SO number and line item number
           OBJECT = 'VBBP'
         TABLES
LINES = INT_TLINES "you will get text in this table
    ref: STXH and STXL tables.
Hope it will solve the problem.

  • Purchase order with zero price

    hello
is i possible to create pos with zero price. i have a scenario that i need to create po with out paying to vendor.
    please help
    regards

    Hi,
If yours is a Free Goods Scenario. Then Mark the Free Item Tab ( Next to Returns) in the Purchase Order detail tab.
Now you can create a Purchase order with Zero Price. By the time GR thru. 511 Mov. Type (Material receipt with out charge) you can receive the material.

  • SRM Local Purchase Order with both a standard line item and limit item...

In SRM is it standard that you can create a local purchase order from the sourcing cockpit that contains a mix of limit items and standard items?
I know this can be done in R/3.

    Paul,
I am a functional/business person, and we are running SRM550 in extended classic, linking to ERP backed.
From our business point of view it makes little sense to mix a limit item with one or more standard catalog item. SAP standard SRM 550 actually stops our users from doing this.
For those who are not aware of the differences I will elaborate.
A standard item is either from a Free Text entry process with the process being completed by a professional purchaser or a catalog item either internal to SRM, or maybe from an external website.
Limit orders are value based and are mostly used for the payment of Utility bills, or for services. We don't use services at all.
In our business we use limit orders for an Electricity Bill for example.
When the user confirms a limit order the quantity should always be 1 and the user enters the value of the item.
The Invoice entry team then needs to match the Invoice to the GR line.  It's at this point that if you have Limit items and standard items mixed our invoice entry team could run into problems.
We are aware that it is not recommended practice for Limit orders to have GR and if you can avoid this step then you should.  Unfortunately our operating model insist on everything being confirmed and in the case of limit orders this can cause us invoice blocking issues.
Limit orders are normally set up to run for a full FY so the addition of standard catalog items to a limit order makes little or no business sense.
If a user added two limit items to a shopping cart for the same supplier our system would produce two PO's for the supplier to use.
We actually avoid transmitting Limit order details to our suppliers as this would indicate the maxiumum value they could invoice us for, businesses just don't do that.  We just send them the PO number and description of the item. This provides them with a PO Ref number to puton their invoices.
As we are still running SRM 550 maybe someone with SRM 7 knowledge would care to expand on this analysis?
    Hope this helps?
    Allen
PS We don't use the Sourcing Cockpit, just read your earlier response

  • Purchase Order - Retrieve net price from Central contract (SRM or ECC)

    Hi,
I'm doing a test by creating a PO referencing a Central Contract, which is made in SRM. When creating the PO, at this moment the net prices is retrieved from SRM.
Question: Is it possible to retrieve the net price from the copied contract which is in the Local ECC system?
(Customizing in ECC) SPRO -->Integration with Other mySAP.com Components >Supplier Relationship Management>Central Contract-->Price Calculation
The value what is at this moment:   SRM Pricing Immediate
Should the value be: 1 SRM Pricing Immediately Only for Hierarchy Contract Item

  • Create blocked purchase order with BAPI_PO_CREATE1

    Hi,
I´m creating stock transport orders with BAPI_PO_CREATE1. At first, I need to
set them to the release status 'S' for blocked. After some checks, I want be able
to relase it and create the delivery.
I have found some fields like rel_status inside of the header structure of
BAPI_PO_CREATE1. But when I set this to 'S', the purchase order is created
    with status 'released'.
How can I create a purchase order with BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and set it to 'blocked'
    first?
    Thanks, Arne

  • Block Purchase order

How to block or delete the Purchase Order?
    Regards
    Rekha Sharma

    Hi
After you Create Purchase Order in ME21N, it will be in Blocked Mode only.
Until you Release it in ME29N, it cannot be accessed.
If it is Released, go to ME22N and change the PO and save it, then it will be in Block Mode.

  • Workflow for releasing blocked purchase orders

    Hi,
We want to implement a workflow for financial approval of purchase orders. At the moment a purchase order exceeds a certain value, the order will be blocked and approval is needed from the responsible cost center manager. As we are completely new to workflow, is there some one that can help me with my questions below?
    1. Is there a standard workflow in SAP (ECC6.0) that supports the above process?
    2. What are the trigger points for this workflow (creation and change of PO?)
    3. What are the required steps to set up this workflow.
    Regards,
    Ed

    hi,
You can set up your workflow while you setup your release strategy..Before you do this you have to use authorisation in order to assign the role to a special person, in your case cost centre manager and follow on with your release strategy...
Creation n changibity will depend on the changability indicator defined under release indicator set up...
where you can choose as per your req. for eg 4, 5 or 6 etc...
you also take help of BI consultant if req....
Also you can find may threads reg. Workflow into SDN...

Based on my experience std feature from SD-FI . Depending on the SD Billing config which can be by delivery(VTFL) or sales order(VTFA). You can assign options of A: Cust PO No. B Sales order no. C Delivery no. D External delivery no.  E Actual invoice number to available header fields of Assignment No. or Reference No. Try it out
