BOM for planned order in different plant.
Hi,
we have 2 plants: A and B.
Plant A creates a sales order for a configurable material (MAT_1). There is a BOM for this material. All the materials in this BOM should be sent from B to A. B should purchase or produce these materials and then send them to A.
Materials produced by plant B are also configurable materials and their components depend on the characteristics chosen for MAT_1.
The thing is that the system generates a BOM for the sales order (and this bill is fixed throught transaction CU51). We would like to fix the complete BOM, not only in its first level, but also the components of the configurable materials through this transaction.
The problem is that when we plan the materials in plant B in order to produce them, the system generate the planned orders but no material components are determined.
How should I proceed?
Thanks in advance,
Luis
Hi Luis,
The header item A also manufactured in plant B and sent it to Plant A or the final product assembly is happening at plant A only ?
The material A = B + C+ D , the components B, D is procured and C is produced at plant -B and send it to plant -A
Material A & C is a configurable material , is it my understanding is correct ?
In the super BOM according to the object dependcy assigned for the each component, BOM qty will get exploded accordingly
and you can configure the special procurement key & assigned it to material master to pass the requirement

CM40 dispatch planned order among different work centers
Hi
we have a finish material ,which can be manufactured using 3 different work centers. Then I create 3 production versions to link each work center .
PV1 Routing 1(work center1) BOM 1 production line:work center1
PV2 Routing 1(work center2) BOM 1 production line:work center2
PV3 Routing 1(work center3) BOM 1 production line:work center3
Is it possible to create a batch job to dispatch planned order between work centers in CM40?I am able to manually dispatch planned orders between different work centers in CM22..
CM40 use the same selection/strategy profile as CM22 and the planned orders are dispatched to other period if current period get overload..But I expect CM40 to dispatch the planned orders to other available work centers..Anyone has any suggestions?
thanks very much..
Edited by: Monst Yang on Jan 10, 2012 9:59 PMHello,
With CM40 also you can dispatch planned orders as like CM22
Please look into the below link for more functions performed with the transaction:

User exit/ badi needed for planned order create/change,collective ATP check
Dear All,
I'm looking for a user exit/ badi which can be used for planned orders at the stage of
mass collective availability check (COMAC tcode) update; or at some other relevant stages of mass update of planned orders.
I need after collective availability check to perform the following:
1) to copy date from "total comitment" field on header tab of planned order and paste it (replace old date) to order finish date on header screen
then
2) to start a scheduling.
Very appreciate your help.
Best Regards,
Andrey

Edited by: Andrey Kruglov on Apr 15, 2010 3:07 PMDear,
Use the BAPI : BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE
Or use the function module MD_SET_ACTION_PLAF for Schedule planned order.
and the transaction MDAC Execute action for planned order
This function module includes the following actions:
Explode BOM
Explode BOM, check availability
Check availability, only explode BOM in the case of a requirement
Check availability, do not explode BOM
Reset availability
Change planned order data
Schedule planned order
Delete planned order
Assign the key for the respective action control to the materials in the material master (MRP 4 view).

KKBC_ORD for all orders in a plant
Hi,
Is there any report in CO-PC which would give me the information I can get in KKBC_ORD but for all orders in the plant at one run?
My problem is that, I require to see the actual, target and plan activity quantities for particular production cost centers by month. I have found such information only in KKBC_ORD, but it can only be run for one order at a time. I wonder if there is any similar report, which can be run for whole plant or is there an easy way to create such report in ABAP as a copy of KKBC_ORD.
Thank you for help,
KarolHi Karol,
Have tried to run report "S_ALR_87013127 - Order Selection "
Using this report you can see the plan and actual of orders in one plant.
Please try, hope this would help you

When I choose leadtime scheduling in MRP RUN then system does forward scheduling always.
Then in planned order change mode when i do manually do scheduling then it does backward scheduling as per settings in OPU5.
How to get backward scheduling in MRP.??Dear,
MRP do the backwordscheduling but The system always determines the basic dates for planned orders using backward scheduling.
The system automatically switches to forward scheduling if the determined start date lies in the past. For this you have to maintain 2 settings.
1)In OPPQ - Plant parameters maintain the indicator for start date in the past allow. 2) In OPU3 for your plant & order type , maintain the no. of days for start date in the past.
Hope clear to you.

Hi Experts,
I have configured the ATP rule for Planned Orders. So I only want to check the component stock and Production Orders when running ATP check for the Parent Material.
In OPJJ, I only selected the following options.
Include Safety Stock : Ticked
Check without RLT : Ticked
Incl.production orders : X (Take all production Orders into account)
No other options or boxes have been selected
Also I have included the relevant Checking group in MRP 3 for the Parent Material (Checking Rule has been assigned to that Checking Group in Config) and also maintain the Plant Parameters for MRP (assign the checking rule to the plant)
So, For an example :
Parent : A
Components : B and C
Parent Material A has only 5 Planned Orders starting on same day 20.05.2014 each qty 5
Components B got stock 300
Components C got stock 1
When I ran ATP Check for the Parent material A using COHV, qty 1 has been allocated to all the planned orders as committed. Why is this happening ?
I also checked in CO09 for the Component Material C, and it says ATP Qty is only 1. I expected the system would allocate that stock 1 to one of the Orders but it seems to be not working as I expect.
Any explanations will be much appreciated and will not hesitate to avoid the points.
Kind regards,
IsharaHi DB49,
Appreciate your reply. Please see the following comments.
Right now I have been assuming that you have performed an availability check manually for one of the planned orders, and you got the same results (overconfirmation). Please confirm.
Yeah I have performed for one order and it gave me the same result. Also, when I perform for the 2nd Order, it allocates the quantity.
OK, basic things you should already have checked:
You have maintained the checking rule for planned orders (OPPQ or OPPR)
You have maintained the ATP group for the materials (OVZ2)
You have assigned the ATP group to the Material Master of the components (MM02)
You have maintained the scope of check according to the rules you mentioned earlier (OPPJ).
You have no planning strategy in the component material that would have invoked a special ATP.
I checked everything apart from point 2 (OVZ2). I have maintained that via MRP Group and that MRP Group has been linked to Master Data (MRP 3)
Really appreciate your support in this.
Kind regards,
Ishara -
How do I maintain storage location for Planned Orders in APO
Dear all,
Can you help us in maintaining storage location for planned orders in APO. The storage location from material master need to be updated in product master of APO and the same shall be automatically picked from product master during Supply Network Planning run.
Material master CIF is live.
We have got the following content error in CIF consistency check. How ever this is nt goging to harm any thing, but we would like to maintain in both R/3 and APO.
Error:
Plant and storage location in SAP APO: 2004
Plant and storage location in SAP R/3: 2004 FGPA
Thanks in advance
Ram Mohan Rao KolanupakaInstead of maintaining additional master data, i would rather use CCR user exits to switch off comparison of planned order at storage location level if the APO storage location is blank. This way you would not have to make changes to PPMs everytime a new scale out of the solution happens.
In SE18 check the user exit /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 (interface RELEVANT_FOR_COMPARE_ORDHEAD)
If it is not possible to switch off this comparison then I guess changing master data is the next step. Do explore with a developer though about the first option. -
Can Equipment No same for 2 Equip in different Plants of same company code?
Hi Gurus,
Please tell me if there is any possibility of having same Equipment No for 2 Equipments in Different Plants.
The 2 plants are in the Same Company code.
e.g. Equip Plant Company Code
1) Equip_DIE Plant1 A
2) Equip_DIE Plant2 A
If it is possible how the Equipment histroy and Breakdown history is updated in the PMIS.
Also tell me the advantages and Disadvantages of keeping same Equipment no for 2 diiferernt Equipments or otherwise keeping different equipment no.
With best regards,
Narendra DereHi Pete ,
Thanks for your valuable reply.
Actually I am doing implementation for 5 plants within same Company Code.
They are geographically distant (say 50km from each Other.)
The Finish Product is same but the method is different.
They have already assigned some Equipment Numbers in the Plant for Regular Maintenance Activities.
Since Planning and Maintenance can be done at the different Plant and team of the MAintenance is different, they dont hv anyproblem if equipment number is same. Otherway they wll have the added advantage that they can continue with there own Equipment no which can be same in differnt Plant.
e.g 800TONPRESS - Plant1
800TONPRESS - Plant 2.

How to generate SNP planned order with different category
Our SNP system receives Forecast and Salse Order from DP system.
and we'd like to generate SNP planned order with different category..for example, 'AI' for Forecast Demand and 'AL' for Sales Order..
currently, If we run CTM, system generate SNP planned order with the
same category 'AI'..
another system(APS) in Our company receives planned order from SNP
and they want to receive planned order for forecast and planned order for sales order seperately..It is not directly achievable however can be done through BADIs and two CTM profile. I am assuming that sales orders are planned ahead of Forecast demands. So have two CTM profiles - one for Sales Orders (regenerative mode) and the other for Forecast Demands (net change mode). You may have to invoke two BADIs in the first run for Sales Orders - one that changes master data by putting a temperory Forecast Horizon in SNP2 tab (BADI /sapapo/ctm_matloc). The other BADI (BADI /sapapo/ctm_orders) changes the ATP category just before saving. in the second run though you just need to run the latter BADI by saving it in the ATP category required. BADIs can be invoked based on CTM profiles used.

Single invoice for multiple orders with different divisions
Dear All,
while I am trying to do single invoice for muliple orders with different divisons invoice is gettting splitted..In copy control vbrk routine I tried with 003 and 007 etc..but result is same..what configuration need to be done for getting the single invoice
Thanks In advance
Regards
CNRNAIRHello
single invoice for multiple orders with "different divisions" invoice is getting split
FYI - Different Division means different Sales Area.
So, sales doc (whether sales order, Delivery & Billing) is applicable to EXACTLY one sales area.
Thus, combining docs with different sales area is practically impossible.
Provided, you are using common division.
Hope this assist you,
Thanks & REgards

Creation of Reservation for planned order
Hi Team,
Is it possible to create reservation for planned orders after MRP run?
My opinion was the reservation can only be created with reference to production order after MRP. The reservation can not be created with reference to planne dorders after MRP run because planned orders are intermident document which will not exist in the system always. The planned order details will not be available in the system once it get converted into production order.
How the reservation will be processed which was created with reference to planned order after converting the planned order to production order?
Kindly need ur guidance.
Thanks
pskDear PSK,
In a typical discrete manufacturing setup production orders are the promised receipt for which reservations gets generated as
soon a production order is created. But only if the order is released goods movements can be posted against the reservation
details through MIGO/MB1A for 261 movement.
It's not required to create any reservation at the planned order level or which may not help you in any means to your business.
But however in a REM scenario MF60 is used to create stock transfer reservations for 311 movement where planned orders
are used for production backflush. To explain in detail even without any planned orders you can do a stock transfer reservation
for a production quantity.
Check and revert back.

How to connect MAPL and PLPO to derive work center for planned order
Hi,
Anybody know how to derive work center using MAPL and PLPO for planned order (PLAF). Is there any connecting table between MAPL and PLPO.
Please help asap.
Regards,
MitaliI guess u r trying to view the detail scheduling info (tab in MD13) for a planned order . In that case -
1. Go to PLAF and enter the planned order number. (PLAF-PLNUM) and get the ID of the capacity requirements record (PLAF-BEDID).
2. With this PLAF-BEDID go to KBED. pass the value here. KBED-BEDID. The KBED-ARBID values are your work center ID.
3. To get the work center texts ( the way is appears in the screen) - Pass this value to CRHD . CRHD-OBJTY = 'A' ( i.e Type work center) and CRHD-OBJID = KBED-ARBID.
Hope it solves ur prob.
Cheers

Hi Experts,
I am looking for the stabdard extractor for the Planned order, Basically I need the fields from the table PLAF.
Please let me know any standard extractor available or any extractor need to enhance.
Thanks
saiHi Sai,
Take a look at 2LIS_04_P_MATNR and see if it is usefull:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/88/7fc73c0c52085be10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Else it seems that you should create a generic extractor directly on the table according to this thread:

Hope this helps.

Table For Planned Order Details From PP Module
In our organisation we are taking Plan Vs Acheivement from Production. So, intialy we taken Plan details from "PLAF" Table and Acheivement details from "S225" Table. But After running MRP at month end. Previous month plan get deleted and new order create.
how to get history data for Planned order.
Please help us.
Regards
NagaI don't think that there is any history in regard to planned orders. PLAF will get rebuilt according to your MRP parameters and I don't believe that the data is stored.

Changing MRP controller for planned order
Hello experts,
Is there any way the planner could change the MRP controller of a planned order within MD12 ? We are using ver 4.7 and this field is not enabled. Currently the planners are creating prod orders much in advance and are looking to move to a process where they firm planned order. We are using project stock planning structure so more that one planner may create orders for the same material. So when one planner review the material planning for one project he would firm the planned order and assign it to him for leater conversion.
Note: I the config I didn't saw any field selection control for planned orders.
Thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom.
Francois Paquet BPA
aeronautive industrieFrancois,
Very interesting question. However I never had to change those fields in either planned or prodcution orders.
Both orders master data fileds are disabled.
However since your are working with project orders ( or netwrok orders ) system would be giving you specific planner order hard tied to the project order ( similar to Made to order scenario).
Planner could use MD51 ( project planning ) & MD4C ( option for Netwrok or WBS element ) for monitoring progress of his /her order.
This way planners do not have to go by MRP controller data.
Hope this provides some new thoughts.
Thanks,
Ram
