Build a blank/other type of page which can show links to other pages

Can someone please tell me how to build a blank/other type of page which can show links to other pages? I mainly want a page to show 3 links, once someone clicks on it, then it will go to a specified page. I tried using URL, but that did not work. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Do a region (probably a HTML-based one is fine), enter in the HTML for your links, and that should be it. What didn't work about this?
Your links probably should appear like this in your coding (use substitution variables):
f?p=&APP_ID.:3:&APP_SESSION.
In the above example, "&APP_ID." will resolve dynamically to the application ID that you are in, "3" is page 3 (change this to whatever page you want the link to be), and "&APP_SESSION." is the existing session number (if you don't include this, the user will receive a new session ID if the destination page is public or will be intercepted annoyingly to log in and get a new session ID which you probably don't want).
Do not include the full http path. Just start with f?p... and everything is assumed to be relative to Apex on the current environment.
Those are effectively the minimum requirements for a URL in Apex to go from one page to another in an app. You can add to that the additional URL parameters for Request value, Set items with values, clear cache, reset pagination, etc. if you need to. Check the Apex online help under "understanding URL syntax" for details on these.

Invoice number is the order invoice number. The customer has their own ID. IF that person makes more orders they get more order ID's and if they are purchased and completed transactions they get a another invoice number.
Its not one invoice per customer if thats what you mean?

Help on creating custom charts which can show information in context

Hi there.
I'm a long time reader, but first time poster.
I've been using JavaFX for a while now and am working on a project where my goal is to develop an application which:
- is used for presenting last quarters sales results for instance.
- is getting itsdata from a back-end db.
- presents the data as a presentation so each subject is show on one slide, containing a chart and a subjects title.
Now for the communication with the back end there is no problem, used JavaFX long enough to get past that. But I've never worked with the charts
The thing I'm struggling with is my wish to show in-context information on screen based on which bar is clicked on the chart, for instance when the January bar is clicked I want to pop-up a panel which will show the names and photo's of the best selling products of that month.
I have a certain idea of how to do this:
1. getting the chart data from the chart to send to the custom node as parameters
2. creating a custom node which will show different data based on what parameters I give it to him, for instance show("product", "January")
I was hoping that somebody could suggest his/hers ideas on this, or approve/edit my approach. Or maybe share some insights or so.

Please read carefully what i plan to do.
Basically is to go a little bit further from your proposal: Since my knowlegde of Apex is limited, i just want to know if, based on your idea, the page should not be public, but move the authorization procedure from the onload on requested page to say, an onload procedure on the Login Page, so if the procedure success, redirect (not show login page) to the page requested in the first place, and if it fails, then show login page.
Just want to know if this is possible, before going against the wheel.
Do you think this is possible? This way, Apex app / page can be accessed from both: Apex itself and Forms.

This has proved unsatisfactory to me so far. Lines are left in etc.

There are two basic menus for fonts - one from the main menu bar and one from the toolbar. You can also bring up the font manage dialog.
I don't recommend trying to hard to force an otherwise foreign font, as it inevitably needs to be usable/supported on iOS as well, and that can get tricky w/3rd party fonts, as an example, even with the expanded font support in the latest iBA.
If you need to discuss fonts more, I suggest starting a new thread....preferably with a slightly more brief title, thanks.

On the introductory window, also make sure you pick from the top choices under Word Processing - I just use "Blank". If you choose the Blank under the sedon set (page layout), you will have to get a text box. I use that setting if I have a lot of images I want to insert and then have text around/near the images.

When you're done with that page, it should automatically move to the next one or you can choose another blank page in the pulldown in the toolbar.

RoboHelp10 - If we click on 'Show' link(button), blank page get displayed

Tried with below option,
Flash Help -> we are working with it and has problem for our desktop/standalone wcf application.
Flash Help Pro - > We know that RH server is req. for this option
Web Help Pro- > We know that RH server is req. for this option
Trouble in (Flash Help),
1. When we invoke Flash Help with respective topic ID, it will not show requested topic page along with TOC, it will show default topic/page, which we set at the time creating help. Also it will display "Allow Blocked Content" button at the bottom. If we click on "Allow Blocked Content" it will display the above requested topic page correctly, but without TOC pane. This time we can see 'Show' button(link) on the browser. If we click on 'Show', blank page get displayed.
2. When we are displaying content with option 'OptionConstants.CSH_DISPLAY_CONTEXT' it only show topic and it won't show me the TOC along with current selected topic page.
3. When we are displaying content with option 'OptionConstants.CSH_DISPLAY_CONTEXT' it only show topic with 'Show' link. When we click on 'Show' link, blank page get display.
4. Tool gives us facitlity to publish the Flash help, where we can choose the folder. This means that it publishes folder structure. We are using this folder structure (the published one) and on the top of that we are not getting expected(blank page get display) result.
5. Published content does not contain any mapid/mapfile, if so whow it works correctly with RH development studio.
6. Skin we were using 'beautiful_vista_flash.fhs'
7. We build RH after setting Mozilla as the statup browser. We tried with Mozilla and IE but still our application opens help in IE. So not able to test in Mozilla.
Please assist to resolve it.

Can't type in Pages 4.3

For some reason, when I opened Pages to type a letter, I can't get my curser to show up. All the features that require curser to be active are greyed out (such as insert date). This is highly frustrating and I have gone through every menu to see what I could possibly have toggled accidentally. I have no idea how to fix this and Apple help is no help at all. Please, can someone suggest some causes for this problem and how to fix it???

You have opened a blank Layout template which is truly blank, you need to add Textboxes or Shapes to type into.
Go back to the Template Chooser and select a Word Processing blank template. They are listed in the Sidebar.
This will give you your default document layer to type into.

Application builder icon disappeared from database home page

Do you mean the icon display, or the ability to use the app identified by the icon?
(If just the display (it shows the empty box), there is a known problem with some images appearing broken. In which case, you can try forcing a reload form the server by adding a 'Shift' to your reload command (eg: use Shift-F5 in I.E. or Shift-Ctrl-R in Firefox)

Display ripples when scrolling ANY types of pages

This is driving me nuts. And giving me headaches. And making my head spin.
My MBPro 2.4Ghz with infamous Nvidia 8600M GT 256MB graphics card is the culprit. A real letdown compared to all the Macs in general, and the portables in particular, that I've used over the last 20 years.
As others have reported here, there is a MAJOR issue with "rippling" lines of text when scrolling web pages. But I am getting the same thing when scrolling ALL types of pages: web, text, spreadsheets, etc.
It happens both on the MBPro screen and on an external monitor.
It happens when scrolling with the trackpad or with a USB mouse.
It happens at all times.
And, if this is possible, it seems to be getting worse. It's almost at the point where I have to TAKE MY EYES OFF THE SCREEN if I have to do any scrolling. If not, by the end of the work day, my head is spinning, my eyes are dead tired, I'm going cross-eyed and, more times than not, I've got a headache from all the "visual effects".
I took my MBPro to an Authorized Apple Technician, to see if it had the defective Nvidia graphics card. I'd done a reformat and fresh install of 10.5.7 the night before.
The Nvidia test software, on an external HD, showed that I don't have a defective card.
Not a bid deal in the end, as they would have just installed the SAME type of graphics card and logic board.
I convinced the Apple Tech to use my MBPro for a few minutes, just to show him what I meant. He said he was surprised to see the ripples, that he'd never really focused on that in the past. But they were definitely there, and he wasn't able to say that it was "normal", as he really wanted to do.
He said he thought it might be a problem with the NVIDIA DRIVERS.
He then went onto his 24" iMac with Nvidia graphics card and, lo and behold, he had THE SAME RIPPLING while scrolling longer web and text pages.
This made him more convinced that it must be "imperfect" Nvidia drivers in Mac OS 10.5. And he said the only thing to do was hope that Apple and Nvidia get these drivers perfected and thoroughly tested in the near future, either by specific update or IN SNOW LEOPARD.
What's frustrating is that I have NEVER had this problem with either our iMac 20" Core Duo, which has an ATI graphics card, or our Macbook Core 2 Duo with GMA 950 Intel chipset. That is, with much older, less powerful Intel Macs, but ones that DON'T HAVE NVIDIA graphics cards.

I call it more of a flicker, but I also experience this issue with a MBP (led backlight). It is not browser dependant, but as Safari scrolls smoothly, it is much more apparent with this than other browsers.

It's also particularly bad with this site (apple discussion board), and others with high contrast text, the text flickers/ripples very badly This never happened with my Powerbook display. Is this an issue or simply inherent with these displays. Personally, it is giving me headaches when scrolling through large amounts of text (which I often do for work), and rendering this laptop virtually unusable for me.
I'm surprised to find very few others complaining about this phenomenon, perhaps I'm not describing the issue well with my search terms. Has anyone heard of a solution?

Sounds very relevant.
Do you have access to another computer with Numbers installed?
If so, do your files open properly on that computer?
If so, then the problem is your computer itself, which is best posted in a different forum.
