BW report adding incorrectly

I'm having a strange problem with a report on our BW system (3.0B SP15)...it's a headcount report that shows total headcount for a cost center hierarchy. The total for a specific node in the hierarchy is 57 employees, but when I drill down on employee, the report shows 59 employees.
I deactivated the hierarchy and noted that 2 cost centers in that hierarchy node have a total that's 1 less than what it should be. (For example, one cost center has 6 employees, but it shows a total of 5, even with an employee drilldown active.) However, when I filter on only those two nodes, the totals are correct.
I tried deactivating the aggregates on the cube this report is based on, but that didn't solve the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
  I guess there are some not assigned nodes in hierarchy you don't know. Please use the following setting to suppress zeros. Query Properties --> Display --> Suppress Zeros checkbox.
Also Suppress zeros from the last dropdown box.

  • Oracle Discoverer report pulls incorrect result when scheduled.

    Recently the database was migrated to 10.1.2 RAC from 9.2.0.6, so the discoverer EUL is now resides on new database.
    after migration the report which pulls correct results when run interactively is pulling incorrect result when scheduled in Discoverer.
    This report used sysdate and aggregate functions, i had ran the same report simultaneously( Directly in Discoverer Desktop/Plus and scheduled in discoverer), but the data retrieved in both case is not matching.

  • R12 Payment Process Request Status Report adding extra columns to XML data.

    In 11i, we had modified the Preliminary Payment Report to include extra columns ( invoice distributions). In r12 , that report is obsolete and Oracle introduced a new report "Payment Process Request Status Report". This request uses BI Publisher to generate the final report output. I am unable to modify the template since the XML output of the report does not
    contain the invoice distribution account data. We need to know how can we modify the XML data to include the extra columns.
    For Funds Disbursement Process ( Payment Instruction File) , Oracle provides IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB extensibility package to construct custom XML element structure that can be added to the payment XML extract generated by Oracle Payments. Do we have something similar for this report ? Are there any other options available ?

    The same package "IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB" works for payment process request status report also. Please add the logic to get the distribution data in this package and you will see the new XML tags in this report also.

    Is the issue happening to specific FR Reports which using Prompts in FR Reports design ?
    Try verify  fiddler trace logs to know what happens in the background. This can be done by installing Fidler from http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/

  • How to stop HRALXSYNC from adding incorrect BP relationships in BUT050

    We have recently upgraded from EBP 3.5 to SRM Server 5.0.  We are replicating HR Org Structure changes from our backend ECC 5.0 system into our SRM Server 5.0 system.
    Since the upgrade we have seen incorrect additioinal BP relationships showing up in table BUT050 each night we run HRALXSYNC. 
    The relationships are between BPs of the User and the BP of an unrelated Org Unit.  The BPs are real and good, but the User and Org unit should not be related. 
    We used to see about 5 good records created in BUT050 each night.  Now we are seeing a total of 100 to 300 entries added each night.  We are increasingly seeing User BPs with multiple Org unit BPs related.
    Any help is appreciated.

  • Summary report displaying incorrect questions.

    My summary report shows the incorrect text/question from my form. I used a form template and changed the text in the questions, but the old (template) text shows up when I pull up the summary report. How do I correct this?

    It looks like the choice in the "View Responses" table was likely edited and that is what is now "out of sync", the label in the Summary Report tiles match that of the View Response Table.  I only see the one label for "Succinct" being out of sync.  You can change that corresponding column header in the Response Table (under "Please reflect on the following attributes of Jane-Rachel in her role as facilitator:") from "Seminar location was convenient." to "Succinct" and that will update the Summary Report tile label as well.  If any others don't match update them on the View Responses tab and that will update the Summary Report tiles.
    If you do this, change the View Responses label to match the field, they will now be "in sync" again so that if you changed the label again in the form the View Responses column header and Summary Report tile would change to match.

  • The Report returning incorrect Invoice values

        When we are executing a  particular report in BEX, it is returning incorrrect values for a few PO numbers for the field  invoice values .The rest of the PO's have correct invoice values.
    I have checked in the cube and ODS and it has the same incorrrect values for these PO's.But in R/3 system, when i check the respective PO ,it has correct values in the TCODE ME23N.
    But in BW system , it is showing incorrect values.I tried to view the same PO Number in the datsource in RSA3. But here when i extract the data and check the output list, I could not find the PO which i am looking for.
    Also, can you please tell me.How can i check the respective PO's in RSA3.Is there any different approach.
    Do provide soem inputs.

    In RSA3,do you have selection on PO,if so then you can give that particular PO and extract and crosscheck.
    Orelse if you have selection on 0FISCPER,and if you know when this PO has been created then give that period and extarct,there you can able to find that particular PO
    If  the values in ODS and cube are incorrect,then you need to crosscheck first in PSA( in the staging layer),since in PSA you will get the raw data exactly the same as in the source system

  • PDF Report adding white spaces

    NEVER MIND.... Why is their no DEL option... Added fm in front of MONTH ('DD fmMONTH YY') and its fixed.
    I have a report that goes to a PDF based on a RTF template. On the Dates, the XML Feed looks fine, but when it generates the PDF it is adding random white spaces in the date.
    XML Feed:
    <REPORT_DATE>31 AUGUST 09</REPORT_DATE>
    <ORDER_DATE>19 AUGUST 09</ORDER_DATE>
    PDF Returns:
    Dated 19 AUGUST 09
    31 AUGUST 10
    so the year is seperated from the month. The SQL is a TO_CHAR(ORDER_DATE, 'DD MONTH YY') and so on...
    Any thoughts from anyone??? Please.....

  • Crystal report showing Incorrect data against Bex Query

    I have created Crystal report on top of Bex Query, I have not done any calculations in the report, just dragging structure and key figure in the report, ran for one month, when I compare with Bex Query with same period, it is showing incorrect data.
    I don't know what can be wrong here?
    We are Business Objects 3.1 SP3.

No. One of my query predicates actually filters on HOME_STATE (let's I want to filter on Indiana, all rows will still display Texas in the HOME_STATE Column, even if all the records have a HOME_STATE of Indiana).
    What is the display type of the column in the report attributes? The column is just a varchar2, but I'm off the client site for now so will check back to confirm that that the display type of the column is correctly set.

  • "Manage Users" IR report displaying incorrect user types

    Found a couple of question-raising things:
    1) User type is showing "Workspace Administrator" for almost all users (many are only users) with a couple identified as "Developer" (who really do only have developer privs turned on). If I knew the sql for the IR report I might find the problem - checked wwv_flow_fnd_user and wwv_flow_developers and they both look OK (no recs in wwv_flow_developers for the end users and those with given admin privs are marked as admin, etc.). Did find one dup group name but removing it didn't seem to have an effect.
    2) Trying to find out what is going on I found the second: It appears that if you have assigned more than one group to a user (apex group to apex user), then add the group_name column to the Manage Users IR, you get the "single row subquery returns more than one row".
    Haven't found any other posts here on this. Any ideas?

    After taking the IR sql and working it I found the following:
    In this apex installation...
    There seems to be a problem with the outer join between wwv_flow_developers and wwv_flow_fnd_user which brings non-null values for d.is_admin and d.is_developer (and for us these are 'Y' if there are no matching records in wwv_flow_developers.
    Changing the decode for DEV_TYPE to use a nvl for d.userid to set all users to end user if they are not in the wwv_flow_developers table fixes the display of user type.
    Now I am guessing this is a data anomaly rather than a bug. Anyone have any ideas on why the outer join to wwv_flow_developers shows a not-null value for is_admin and is_developer?

  • Customizing Audit Log Report - Adding/Removing Columns from Display

    Hi All -
    Has anyone tried adding/removing the columns from Out of Box Auditi Log report with minor customizations to the code/configuration files ? Right now , when the Audit Log report is executed, there are numbe of columns that appear on report (Server, Client IP etc) which are too technical for the client and requirement is remove some of these and add some more for the attributes that we are audit logging through Audit workflow service. If you have done something similar in the past, please provide me with some inputs. Any sample code, examples will be highly appreciated.

  • Bypassing selection screen in custom reports added to MSS reporting

    I have created a custom report (using PNP) in R/3 and added it to the MSS reporting (not Launchpad). Even though the manager is selecting his subordinate employee and clicks report result, he still sees a selection screen which i have defined in the custom report.
    When the manager runs a sap standard report RPTABS50, he sees data of the employee only he selects.
    How do i bypass the selection screen in the custom ABAP report i have added to the MSS?

    You are seeing a syntax error. What columns do you currently have? Which formula are you trying to create? Even an extra space or absence of it could probably trigger an error message. If you are using just = Y002, probaby you are trying to have another column with the same values of Y002. If it is used within a condition, may be some space is missing.
    Can you describe what is the report you are trying to create?
