By Default Subject -Urgnt Correction in Change Request transaction

Hi,
How to bring by default 'Uargent Correction' in Change Reqst(SDCR) Subject  field.
Currently I am choosing manually Urget correction. I want to make it by default.
Regards
PK

Hello,
Perhaps you could change data type CRMT_SRV_SERVICE_CODE_LIST and enter a parameter there. Then, the parameter could be set in the relevant users' profiles.
Let me know if it works or not, perhaps the data type to be assigned a parameter is another one.
Best regards,
Miguel Ariñ

  • How to set a default target system in  a change request

    Hello,
I would like to set up a default value for the target system when I create a change request,
for example, if I create a CHR in "DEV" system, it would auto fill the "Target" field with "TST"
I tried to look for TPPARAM parameters or some Global ones,
    but with no luck
Anyone got a clue how to do it?
    Thanks.

    Hi Elhanan,
The next system depends on the transport route.
and the transport will follow the route assigned. this again depends on the transport layer assinged to the development package of the object.
so the assignment is like this.
Dev object > Development package (previously called dev class) > Transport layer > Transport Route

    Hi,
I have removed the role SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS & tried to create Change Document . It allowed me to create.

  • Changing of iBase in Change Requests and Corrections being processed

    Good day!
After going SP18 with Solution Manager our iBase component system has gone "mad": number for productive ERP-system has changed several times.
Because of this change, a number of already approved change requests and corrections in processing can't be modified correctly. I can't change their status by regular operations from system document. Multiple correction/ change request change also won't work. And I can't change the iBase component in this documents, because the field is read only.
How can I close all Change Requests and corrections with old iBase component number?
Is there a way to change the iBase number in already approved Change Requests and Corrections, so i can perform operations with this system documents.

    Hello Raguraman!
    Thank you for your answer.
Anyway I implemented the note to which you refer, and still can't change iBase component in corrections and change requests which are in process. The "iBase/Component" field is still read only and contains components which do not exist anymore.
Do you know how can I change this values?

  • Change Request SDCR- adding Actions

    Dear Colleagues,
In the change request transaction  I can see the ACtions "Authorize Change Request" & "Reject ECR".
So change manager can Authorize or reject from the actions.
If change manager require more information from requester, then chnage manager can do Reject ECR, but it will not allow you to use the same change request transaction.
So can we define one more action definition like"Provide more Details" & assign it to action profile SDCR.
How to define actions. Can anybody tell me.
    Regards
    Praveen K

    Hi PK,
You can define your own actions in the Scenario Specific Settings in SPRO for Change Request Management. I am not sure about the documentation which you can refer to, but the steps are as follows (in brief) :
    1. Determine the transaction type, the status profile and the action profile which you are using for your change request (If it has been customized for your client, ideally it is SDCR)
    2. Right now, you should be concerned about the action profile only. Copy the SAP standard action profile and create a new action profile. In it, you can define the new action whcih you need
    3. In the conditions tab, set the execution condition for the new action you have defined.
    4. In the transaction type, give this new action profile's name, so that these changes are reflected in the change request.
    I hope this helps you,
    Regards,
    Sneha Vyas.

  • E-Mail notification in Change Request by approval

    Hello out there,
I'm trying for days to set up an automatic e-mail notfication for  my change request transaction by workflow.
My aim is to trigger an email notification by saving after setting the approved activity.
I tried it with following  workflow conditions:
E.g. by setting schedule condition on status "validation - E0014"  and start condition on status "release for approval - E0012" everything works fine.
So I think the problem is the status "approved  - E0004" ... maybe 'cause it isn't set by actions like the other statuses?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Martin Kläser
P.S.: Solution Manager CHARM is driving me to insanity ...

    Problem is solved.
The conditions were alright ... the problem was that change manager and requester (both test users) got the same e-mail address so nothing happened.
After changing requester's mail everything works fine.

  • In Change Request Making a default subject

    Dear all,
We are using SOLMAN 4 and SCM functionality. When we create a change request from charm_create transcation,i want to set in the subject line Urgent correction as default. How can we this?please help
    Thanks in advance,
    Avinash

    Dear Henry,
I was not able to find a straight way to do that, but found a way around.
When you see the drop down menu of Subject, first it displays the codes of implementation cycle and then of Maintenance cycle. So to make the Urgent correction as the default one,i spro Soluman->Scenario-Specific Settings->Service Desk->Define code Groups and code for Catalogs (for catalog IB)changed the status of implementation in to "InProcess" from "Released".By this Urgent correction comes as the Default. In our case we are not using Maintenace Project for Change Management and so we are not having any problem by doing this.
If you are not using Charm for Imple. proj, you can do this. But as i told you it is not the straight way to do this.
    Revert for any clarification.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Avinash.

  • Change Request - subject is Normal Corre.  but its creating Correction SDMI

    Hi,
When I am authorizing the Change Request(SDCR) it is creating Correction(SDMI) insted of Normal Correction (SDMJ).
Even though I am selecting subject as Normal Correction (Maintenance). what could be the reason ?
    Regards
    PK

    Dear Prakhar,
Many Thanks. The problem is solved. I  have run the same BC set & its working fine.
The problem is that this is the second time I am facing the Issue & it disappears after BC set is run every time.
I dont want every time to run the BC set, because if I do any customization & run BC set then it will remove the customized things.
    Regards

  • Change Request - Delete / Hide Subject

    Dear All,
While creating CR using crmd_order for maintainance project, we have 3 subjects viz,
    1. UC(maint)
    2. Normal correction(maint)
    3. Admin correction(maint)
Now I want to delete / Hide the 2nd one, Normal correction as we are not using this one.
The problem is for testing purpose we have created 4-5 documents using this normal correction & when i tried to delete this in spro >> Scenario-Specific Settings >> Change Request Management >> Extended Configuration >> Change Transaction >> Transaction Types >> Catalogue, Codes and Profile
system is throwing error as *Code 0020 is in use and therefore cannot be deleted
    Message no. Q3221*
How can i hide or delete that entry, so that while creating CR, user should not select that option.
    regds,
    CB

    Hi Channabasappa.K ,
You can create a custom transaction type from the standard ones by doing a copy as and then you can make the below mentioned desired configuration.
You will not be able to delete the existing change documents which you have created.
Let me know if you have any queries regarding the above.

  • Change Request SDCR - Sold to Party has to appear by default from IbaseComp

    Hi,
    TCode: CHARM_CREATE
In this screen I dont want to enter the Sold to party.
'Sold to party' has to come by default  based on the IBase Component entered In Change Request SDCR Transaction. Is there any setting for the same.
In case of support desk when we create a message, sold to party comes automatically, Bcz in IBase Partner Sold to party is maintained. Like this can we make it for Change Request(SDCR) transaction.
    Regards
    Praveen Khot
    +91 9724035023

    Hello Praveen,
To make the "Sold To Party" be determined from the IBase in the SDCR, you have to adjust the partner determination procedure SDCR0001 using the same access sequence for "Sold To Party" than in the partner determination procedure for the SLFN (i.e. 0018 SAP Service: Determination via IBase/Ind Object from Ref. Object Set).
Then in CHARM_CREATE, leave the "Sold To Party" field blank. It will be populated during the creation. Go to CRMD_ORDER to check the assignment.
    Hope this helps.

    Stéphane.

  • Restrictions belonging relation between Change Request and Corrections?

    Hi all,
In standard change process I only can create one change document (correction) to one change request.
    Releation 1:1.
Is there a technical restriction belonging the relation between the change request and the corrections?
Does anyone has experience with a 1:n relation in the change process?
Thanks for your help in advance.
    Regards,
    Alex
Edited by: Alexander Barth on Mar 16, 2009 11:24 AM

    Hi Prakhar,
what you described is a process-restriction. It is not a technical restriction.
E.g.: I have a change belonging BI. Therefore I have to change things in BI and ERP 6.0. Why not using one change request with two corrections? One for BI and one for ERP 6.0.
So you are right if you want to create for that situation two change requests. There is no relation between them. How do you control them?
Administration and documentation is important. But it should be useful.
And I am able to set up more than one corrections to one change request technicaly in SolMan.
But is there a deeper technical restriction inside which raise problems later?
For me it seems that SAP wants that a 1:1 relation is used. But why?
    Does anyone have an idea?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Alex
