Can't buy skype credit - An internal error occurre...

i got this error message when buying skype credit.
"An internal error occurred.
Sorry, but we were unable to start your payment. Please try again later."
any help would be appreciated.

I have a similar problem, Skype tells me everything is fine with my account but it isn't, I can't purchase additional credit and I'm running out!
I've been using Skype for longer than I care to remember all over the world, then Microsoft came along...lots of advertsing banners...lots of tinkereing which the say "will improve our experiance"  (offensive text removed).
Please don't ask me to send a screen shot it will not help, what will help is putting pressure on the Microsoft (offensive text removed) to fix this problem. I've been trying to buy credit for several days now and it will not log me into the final checkout screen.

    Hi Claudius,I am wondering if you can help ,I have been trying ,for weeks ,to buy more credit,I am in touch with Customer Service for the last week,and the only advice I am getting from them is to check my cookies,etc.
    I have told them ,over and over,that I have done that,and more,I have used several computers,laptops and iPad,and disabled cookies and protected mode,to do this operation.
    All of them stop short from transferring funds from PayPal to my Skype account,and the message I am getting is:

    What that is,they will not tell me!

    Can you be more creative than your customer service people,that basically are giving me the standard "computerized" answer?
    Right now I have no clue what is the problem that the Skype page has with accepting my payments,they have done it a number of times before,and this is just a pain in the neck,and that is an overly decent statement.

    Same problem. When using mastercard or visa, the error is "Something went wrong there".
    When using PayPal, the transaction is OK, but after that, Skype refund the money... So, the money go from my bank account immediate, and after 3-7 days go back.
    My cards are OK, my PayPal is OK, but Skype refuse the payment when using credit cards and refund the payments when using PayPal. From the live chat - technical support they say that nothing is wrong with my skype account and to try after 24h... They see that skype refund the money charget with PayPal, but they can not explain why.
    As I see, this issue occurs since 2012... Just do a search with Google:
    "Something went wrong there" skype
    Or...
    Can't buy Skype credit
    But, no explanation from technical support, just suggestions for change browser or the computer... or try after 24h...
    I will try tomorrow again Any other suggestion?

  • Can no longer buy skype credit in Canadian Dollars...

    I bought my computer 4 years ago in China.  Over there, I paid using my former Chinese bank account.
    18 months ago I returned to Canada and started buying skype credit using my Canadian Visa paying in CDN Dollars.
       The past six months however I cannot buy credit because the payment page it switches to is the Skype China website requesting payment in RMB.   
    For five months I was able to use skype by turning on the auto recharge option, where my Canadian visa details are stored.  Last month, however, the skype system recharged 14 CDN Dollars, but at the same time cancelled the auto recharge.  Now, the system does not let me start up the auto recharge.
    On my skype account page on the top right I see the skype China payment company's logo.  Clicking the logo, a sign appears saying:  "This company gives you more payment options." (in English)    My Visa credit card is valid and not part of the problem.  What is the problem?

  • Problem with buying Skype credit.

    I have tried to buy Skype credit several times, but no success. Everytime after I clicked the Continue button to make the purchase, it went to the page showing Loading and being frozen there.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I travel a lot and I use skype to call my wife. Recently I forgot my password and by some miracle was able to get my account back but now I can't purchase skype credit. I've tried the joke of the "online resolutions center" and I don't remember 90% of the questions asked on that form. Really? year I created my account? Can I please get back the ability to buy skype credit so I can call my wife. Thank you.

  • Unable to Buy Skype Credit!

    I have just tried to buy Skype Credit, but the system
    tells me that I have reached my monthly credit limit,
    this I don't understand, I didn't know that there was
    any limits on purchases.
    This block is from Skype, I have tried 2 different cards
    and also PayPal, everyone was rejected.
    I really need to call Bolivia every day and now I am
    unable to do so.
    How can I get this block removed?

    I'm trying to buy Skype credit, but every time I click on the link to buy skype credit, it takes me to a ".tw" page and only gives me the option of buying skype credit in TWD. I'm living in the U.S., and I've changed every single location/address setting I could find to reflect that, but Skype still thinks I'm in Taiwan and requires me to enter in Taiwan-related information that I do not have. How can I fix this?

  • Datafinder can't start due to an internal error.

    After installing LabVIEW 2009SP1 and DIAdem, I get the following popup every time I restart the computer:
    "The datafinder can't start due to an internal error. (244) Please wait until the National Instruments PSP Service is running and try starting Datafinder again."
    I'm not very familiar with the NI PSP Service or how to get it running. I tried to repair the LabVIEW installation but no luck.
    Has anyone seen this before?

    It's probably a corrupted install of the distributed systems manager. You can uninstall it and reinstall it by downloading it here (http://www.ni.com/download/ni-distributed-system-m​anager-2013/4216/en/).

  • Update credit card gets "An internal error occurre...

    I need to add a new credit card to my Skype account. I do that. Then Skype tells me that I will need to verify the card. I do that. Then I get the message "An internal error occurred" and the new credit card is not one of my payment methods. I switched browsers. I added the most current Skype software. Same problem.
    Any ideas?
    I'll appreciate any help.

    Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to write this, but I couldn't find anything relating to my question.
    I've tried to purchase some skype credit and I can't seem to do that for some reason. I went into my account and saw that I have some "pending" which doesn't make sense since the ones pending are from before the last time I got credit as it was delivered. I had a look through my account a little more and noticed that there were even ones pending since early last year, so these are probably ones that didn't work and so I tried again and it then worked. But what I can't understand is why I cannot buy anymore credit and if the reason is because of all the purchases that are still pending, then how do I cancel them as this is extremely annoying!! I cannot seem to contact skype which is even more annoying because I just want this to be fixed asap so I can actually use my account again!! 
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Can't add skype credit

    Hi guys, I've been having some issues with my skype credit. During the last week, my credit has been automatically delivered and then reversed without me trying to add any credit and without my credit going under the $4.00 limit. I contacted live chat and they said I should change my password and email for security reasons. I did that and today I had the same problem but my skype credit went to 0 from $10. I decided to remove all stored payment details just in case and then re add them by buying more credit. Unfortunately it has been impossible to add credit again using my credit cards, since that is my preffered method of recharging my account.
    I get the "Please check your order details and try again, or get in touch if you need help." message. I contacted live chat twice again and also called my bank to see if there was a problem with my card, but they assured me that all is good.Basically the live chat sends me to the bank and the bank sends me to live chat!!!
    I've even tried recharging another skype account I have, to which I have never added credit before and still have the same problem.
    I also tried a second credit card but no luck either.
    Both cards were working fine till now.
    Does anybody know any possible solution? It is very important to me because this is how I communicate with my family overseas.

    unfortunately, i think it is only the customer support can possibly assist you from this point.  You may need to contact them again, provide them an updated and detailed description of the current situation, specify the actions you already did, then ask them what your other possible options are.

    I have credit on my account but they keep charging my PayPal as the billing method.
    How can I use up my credit on account to pay my bill?

    You should be able to change payment method to Skype Credit.
    Try this first:
    1) Go https://secure.skype.com/account/call-phones/packa​ges
    2) Open your subscription Settings
    3) Click on Change payment method
    4) Add another payment method -> Skype Credit
    Once you have done this it should look something like this:
