Can't get rounded LineBorder in JPanels

I cannot get rounding in a LineBorder on a JPanel. Anyone have any suggestions. Here's my code. The corners stay square in 1.4.2 and 1.5 in Win XP.
LineBorder b = new LineBorder(Color.black, 1, true);

I would suspect that the radius of the curve for the rounded corners is directly related to the thickness of the line. A thin line having a small radius, thick lines a larger radius. 1 pixel thickness might not show enough rounding to be noticable.
You could get the source for LineBorder and copy it to make a new class which can define a new parameter to define the radius explicitly and then paint accordingly.

Do you hav ean external drive?
If so copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to the external drive.
Then you can delete /Music/iTunes/ empty the trash and recover this space.
Do this then Apple menu > Software update.

If only some of the songs on an album are giving you the authorisation message, that suggests those song files are damaged.

Can you be clearer about what you're seeing? The price should be clearly stated up front... Is that not the case? Note that there may be additional taxes that will increase the final price, and that can't be included in that up-front listed price, since taxes are different everywhere.

I believe part of the recovery process is you get an e-mail allowing you to reset questions. If that e-mail isn't correct either because your son set it up then you really have no option but to ask Apple again. They are getting strict abotu security and given the number of "My iTunes account got hacked" posts here I can guess why. They have no way of knowing you really are the owner of the account. It's like me going to a policeman and saying, "See that car over there? That is mine, can you open the door for me?" and the police opening it on that basis alone.

All you can do is re-use on of the accounts previously created on your device, or create an account to use on another iOS device or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or later), if you have one.

If you can't power the phone up, you're not going to be able to get any data off of it.

Photos are included in the phone's backup. So if you did a backup before the upgrade (which happens automatically) they should be restored when the backup is restored. If you don't have a backup you are out of luck.

Usually if you have some kind of hardware failure there is some beeping during POST or most motherboards now have LED indicators to produce and error message based on the type of failure
So if its bad memory, not place properly, mismatched, processor not inserted properly, mismatched voltage or voltage connector not present etc it beeps or generates the error id.
Power supplies can be tested for failure. There are some walk throughs for testing just them with a switch, paperclip or a jumper (I'd suggest not doing this if you are not familiar with the dangers of electricity).
Memory can be tested with memory diagnostics programs like Memtest+
Processors can overheat if the proper precautions have not been taken usually you will get a POST beep or error code for that.
If the motherboard has no response then do the basics first:
Check power connectors and power supply. Once you determine that is not the case move on to other items like graphics cards in all the way or memory.
