  • Canceling a service contract

    Hi,
I am passing a future cancellation date for a service contract through a custom BAPI . The date is getting passed, but the billing plan line items are not getting deleted. I have to manually go into the service contract and select the date again to delete the bill plan line items.
Can anyone please let me know how to do the action through the BAPI?

    Hello again Sloppy_Carlton,
I’m glad to see you are utilizing the forums to reach out to us about multiple experiences, although I am sorry to see that neither of the experiences you posted about left you feeling delighted.
Per our Return & Exchange Promise, we may return or exchange almost everything; however, devices that are damaged would be excluded. It seems the unauthorized modification (rooting and unrooting the phone) may have been the cause of the phone not turning on when attempting to update your operating system to KitKat. We would not be able to accept this device for an exchange or return as it would be considered damage from the unauthorized modification.
That being said, I’m glad to hear you seem to have been provided a one-time solution to this experience. We truly value your insight and the time you have taken to share these insights with us. If you should need any further assistance, please feel welcome to reach out to us.
Thank you for posting on the forum!

  • Want to cancel service when contract ends

    Hi,
I was wondering how I go about ending my service with Verizon?  My contract ends 6/27/13.  What steps would I need to follow so I do not incur a cancellation fee?  I have an iPhone 4.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • New contract - End of call to cancel service??!! -...

So my contract expired with BT, I only found this out when my bill shot up to £45+ after a steady £33.
I called BT and spoke with a random women who basically told me that she would do pretty much the same deal if I rejoined.
She then mentioned that I'd have by the end of the phone call to change my mind if I wanted to cancel the contract.
    Is this right?
From what I'm aware of there's a cooling off period of 7-14 days?
Any help would be appreciated on this

    Hi Kinergy,
There is no cooling off period after the service has gone live.
You can try calling the BT Retail customer options team on 0800 800 030 to see if you can negotiate a reasonable deal.

  • Service Contract Cancellation - WV

I am not able to cancel the service contract.
Am getting this  message " The next possible cancellation date is 04.05.2013"
    how to resolve it?

I don't have much idea on this.
Use Tcode VORB - Define Reference Sales Document Types for Service Contract - WV, say, MK.
Then TCode VOV8 - Sales doc type Service Contract - WV, check the Contract profile, say 0002
Now TCode VOVR - check Contract prof. 0002 and under Cancellation proced take note of  Assignment cancellation procedure/cancellation rule, say, 0002 Cancel w/ 3 months notice and yr renewal.
Now, you can flow following path in SPRO:
IMG - SD - Sales - Contracts - Contract Data - Control Cancellation
Then Check the in TCode VOVN - check Assign Cancellation Rules And Cancellation Procedures
    Cnacellation Procedure
    Cancellation Rule
    Decs
    0002
    0001
Cancel. up to 1 wk after contract start
    0002
    0003
Cancel w/ 3 months notice and yr renewal
Now refer Tcode VOVL for cancellation rule. This incidates level at which a contract may be initialted for termination
    Cancellat.rule
0003 Cancel w/ 3 months notice and yr renewal
    Canc.date
08  Contract Start Date + Contract Validity Period
    Notice
    3-
    Canc.unit
    3 Month
    Canc.period
    1
    Period unit
    4 Year
    Therfore for your error,
The next possible cancellation date is 04.05.2013
cancellation rule (VOVL) & Contract validity period plays a vital role.

  • Was told to cancel my contract by a Verizon supervisor

A few months ago I went into a Verizon store by myself in Monroe NY to get more data for my phone. I'm not that fluent in English and the supervisor there, Kevin, helped me out. At first he was really nice and told me since I had 2 phone lines I was able to get a Verizon jet pack for free with a 2 year contract. I didn't really understand what he was trying to give me but he said trust me, you'll like this. Even telling me that it's "only $20 a month with extra data" . At the time it sounded good, I had 2 GB n added 2 more and extra data for $20 was great. But I didn't know how to use it since he didn't explain the steps to me, he only wrote the code down for me and that was it. So I decided to go back a few days later and return it, but he told me that my trial date was over and if I wanted to return it, I had to pay $165. I asked him "how is it over, it's not need 2 weeks" he then asked for my reseat and I told him he never gave me one, he then told me I can't help you then, have a good day, so I felt like I had no choice but to keep it. Then all of a sudden on sept. 12 I got a text message from Verizon saying that I'm about 50 percent up to my data and if I don't change it I'll get charge extra. So I called Verizon and added 4 more GB thinking that it's ok now. But then today sept. 18 I get another text message from Verizon again saying I'm 90 percent up to my data. That's a total of 8 GB and it's saying that I used 4 GB in 6 days? How is that possible if I had extra data on my jet pack? I didn't get it so I called Verizon again. After being on hold and waiting and getting switched around a couple of times I was finally being helped. I was then told that the jet pack I was using wasn't a extra data device but a hotspot device and I'm just using my own data. Why wasn't I told this when I first signed the contract for it? Why wasn't I told this when I called to get more data 6 days later? The Verizon employee on the phone, whose name is Robert, didn't really have any answers for me, he kept replying umm... And telling me that I needed to buy more data. I told him that Kevin told me that the jet pack I got has data already, so I didn't understand why I had to buy more. Then after an hour and some mins with him only, I loss time of how long I was on the phone total with Verizon, he was able to give me 4 GB and credit me $20 for the 4 GB. But what about the jet pack? I found out that it too uses my shared data. He told me there's nothing he can do about it and to take it up with Kevin the supervisor who sold me the jet pack. So I did, I went back to the store with my daughter and she talked to him for me (she is also typing this for me, again since I'm not fluent in English) and then he changed he's whole story around saying that he explained everything to me, and told me how to set it up and how it works. He lied about everything, I told him if he was telling the truth then I never would have got the jet pack. I feel like I'm throwing money away because I don't need a hotspot device, I needed a data device. He then told me that I only have 2 choices I can have extra data for $50 on the jet pack for 5 GB. I told him no I don't need that I have 12 GB now, so then he said ok cancel your contract if u don't want it. I looked at him to see if he was joking and he wasn't. He really did just tell me to cancel my contract, and there's nothing he can do for me. Even though he lied to me, and told me that the device was something that it wasn't. When I got home, I again tried to talk to Verizon. I was on hold, then talked to somebody that still didn't help me but tried every way to get me to spend more money. He even told me I can try to pawn it or sell it on Craig's list to get money for it so I can cancel my contract n pay for it. Soo... Again I spoke to 2 employees on the and a supervisor in person just today. And nobody was trying to help me even thou I was tricked n lied to into signing a 2 yr contract and on top of that I kept getting a cancel your contract as a answer. I can't believe Verizon has their employees or even allowing their employees to give that as an answer. I feel like Verizon just don't care once they have u trapped. I have tried calling many times, with not reply or help. Why should I stay with Verizon when their trying to kick me away?

  • Service Contracts  with billing plan not updating debit memo request in ECC

For service contracts with billing plan, we cancel the line items and set the user status at header to "cancelled" and also set the cancellation date (under Cancellation Tab) at the header as well as item level which delete all items in the “DMR” in ECC (which are not yet billed). When we do this, it works perfect for most of the time and in some cases DMR items are not updated in ECC and it is billing. When I checked in CRM, the billing plan items are updated based on the cancellation date.
Experts appreciate your help on this issue.
    Thanks,
    George.

  • Is it possible to return my iphone 4 and cancel my contract?

    I have an iphone 3GS and I canceled my AT&T contract like 8 months ago, but I decided to get services again.. so I was too dumb and chose to buy an iphone 4 and had to do the contract thing... I could just get the service for my iphone 3GS with no contract.. I want to do that. I bought it today.. so is it possible to return it and cancel my contract and just get the AT&T service for my iphone 3GS? He didn't give me any receipt for it.. >_<;;

I find it hard to believe you weren't provided a receipt.
You can return an iPhone for payment credit within 30 days of the purchase date less a 10% restocking fee and cancel the associated AT&T contract within the same 30 days.
You must return the iPhone and all package contents undamaged in any way to the store where it was purchased.

  • UNBILLED RECIEVABLE ACCOUNT- SERVICE CONTRACT WITH REVENUE RECOGNITION

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I want to draw your kind attention towards my problem:
I have created  service contract with one year contract and created an invoice for the whole year in advance.
Now in-between i cancelled  a contract (after three months) and want to recognised a revenue for the contract period , so i'm creating a revenue recognition for the three months one by one using  transaction code-VF44,
first month revenue recogniton is working fine as first month amount is going from deffered account to revenue account
But for second month instead of deffered account ,system is using unbilled recievable account  ,which is wrong .
Can anybody tell me why the system is picking unbilled receivable account instead of deffered account in case of second month revenue recogniton.
    This may help us:
"When i was cancelling a contract ,at that time i was entering a billing plan end date in billing plan tab at an item level.
and just after entering end date ,system was creating two lines instead of one in billing plan tab and i think because of that extra line system is picking unbilled receivables in second revenue recognition."
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.
I am doing a contract billing for overall period that is for 12 months (contract is of 12 months).
Just after 3 months i have realized that somehow we have to cancel the contract and we canceled that in 3rd month.
I had created the created a contract with periodic billing plan and for canceling that contract i'm putting contract end date in BILLING PLAN TAB as 31/03/2011 (Let say contract is from 01/01/2011 to 31/12/2011).
Can you/anybody please tell me whether is this the correct way of canceling the contract with periodic billing plan?
    As per your analysis:
"It seems you have done the billing document for one period and you are doing the RR document for multiple periods and hence the revenue is going to unbilled receivable account for the period for which billing document has not been done"
As i have billed the customer for 12 months but contract was only for 3 months so i'll create RR for only 3 months and for rest of the period (i.e. 9 months) i'll create credit memo and send it to customer.
"Please use a billing type where you will specify only start date and end date of the contract and not the billing plan in contract"
How can we use billing type for contract start and end date .
I think as soon as i'm changing the dates in billing plan tab system is proposing another line item with different  billing dates and that is not getting covered under deferred account that is still unbilled amount .
    Waiting for your valuable inputs.
In case of any clarification kindly revert to me.
    Thanks,
    Ujjawal

  • Need help: Cancelling Wirefly contract within first 14 days

    Ok so here's the story:
My Family plan 2 yr contract with Verizon was going to end on May, 28 2011.  However, I was eligible for a NE2 upgrade.  I decided to get the HTC Thunderbolt, and WIREFLY.com had a special price.  So, I decided to enter into a new 2 year agreement with them in order to qualify for the HTC Thunderbolt pricing.  It's been 7 days since I activated my contract with wirefly.  I've decided not to keep the Thunderbolt and get the iPhone instead.
My question is, can I cancel my contract with wirefly without incurring an ETF with Verizon?  And by cancelling with wirefly, will my numbers be ported back to Verizon?
Basically, to keep it simple, I want to undo everything I did with wirefly...biggest mistake I've ever made with purchasing mobile phones.
I would totally stick with them IF they offered the iPhone, but unfortunately they do not.  The Android phone isn't what I had expected it to be.  So I hope I can undo what I did.
Please help, any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

My question is, can I cancel my contract with wirefly without incurring an ETF with Verizon? When you made your purchase through Wirefly, you signed TWO contracts, one with Verizon for two years of service, and one with Wirefly, agreeing to maintain your service at the level you purchased for 6 months.  If you are within your 14 day return period, you will not owe an ETF to Verizon, but you MAY owe an ETF to Wirefly.  You will need to carefully read the paperwork you signed with Wirefly to determine what their return policies are.  And by cancelling with wirefly, will my numbers be ported back to Verizon? Your number was never ported away from Verizon.  Wirefly is a third party vendor that sells Verizon phones and service.
Basically, to keep it simple, I want to undo everything I did with wirefly...biggest mistake I've ever made with purchasing mobile phones. Call them and ask for the return period and procedure for making the return.  I would call immediately, since you have to mail the phone back to them, and they may need to recieve it by a certain day.
I would totally stick with them IF they offered the iPhone, but unfortunately they do not.  The Android phone isn't what I had expected it to be.  So I hope I can undo what I did.

  • After Restore Got Voicemail Without Service Contract

My old iPhone 3G doesn't have a service contract and in preparation of giving it to a friend, I erased all content and settings, then set it up as a new iPhone. Prior to doing this I was using it on wifi with various apps. My friend plans on doing the same and not get a service contract. After the restore though, I noticed the native phone app showed 3 voicemails. Prior to the restore it was a solid red dot, because of the no service contract. Is there a way to remove this so it doesn't show any voicemail? I am not sure why it does anyway.

Not being under contract does not mean someone doesn't have service. After a contract has expired, service will be on a month to month basis without being under contract and can be cancelled at any time without a penalty.
Are you still an AT&T subscriber with service with another phone?
Erasing all content and settings on the iPhone is all that is needed in this situation. Setting the iPhone up as a new iPhone with iTunes after doing so means activating the iPhone with iTunes with AT&T, or did you restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup after erasing all content and settings on the iPhone? If the iPhone is not activated with AT&T, you shouldn't have any visual voicemail messages. AFAIK, the only way visual voicemail messages can be downloaded to the iPhone from AT&T's server is with an iPhone that is activated with AT&T.

  • Can I use the Iphone without a service contract?

I want to buy an IPhone but do not want to commit to a service contract. I do still want to use it as an Itouch. Can I do this?

Activation with AT&T is required at the store when the iPhone 3G is purchased.
To cancel the contract will cost you a $175 early contract termination fee. AT&T's activation fee for new subscribers is $35.
AT&T's subsidized price is $199 for the 8GB, and $299 for the 16GB plus tax.
If you purchase the 16GB, this will cost you as follows:
    $299 plus tax
$175 - early contract termination fee
$35 - activation fee, plus a pro-rated charge for cellular services between activation and cancellation.
$509 plus tax on the iPhone and the pro-rated charge for cellular service.
I don't know how much a 16GB iPod Touch costs, but probably less than this without all the trouble.
The iPhone is called an iPhone for a reason. If you want an iPod Touch, purchase an iPod Touch.

  • Feel such an idiot, may now cancel new contract.

Just rang BT as my contract had come to an end, I have Broad band option 3 and unlimted calls.
Did some research and wanted to see what BT would offer me before I moved providers.
Was told that I had been offered a loyalty bonus and was made to feel like BT was giving me a better deal then all the rest.
I was to be given a new homehub 3 which cost £99 for 50p a month, and broadband calls at a special rate.
I now find that this was all rubbish, there is no deal if I dont cancel the contract then I will pay the going amount for my package, £44.50 to add insult to injury I am being charged £6 for delivery of a homehub.
I am utterly deflated, I feel such an idiot. I was made to feel that I had been offered a great deal when in fact I wasnt. I rang to see what they could do for me as I had found a similar package a lot cheaper. I was talked into a new contract thinking that I was being offered a better price then what BT offered when in fact I wasnt.
    Seriously considering cancelling my contract.

You need to act quickly.  You should be protected for 14 days after agreeing a contract to cancel.
To be honest BT are the sneakiest bunch of (can't say) I've come across.  I used to hate Sky but BT have surpassed this.
I'm off to Virgin Media.  You can change your package without a contract renewal for a start.  I was slammed with a 24 month contract just to change from the 10gb BB to the 40gb BB.
I'm now going to pay the £180 cancellation fee because the BT service is so shockingly terrible.  Spent hours dealing with technical support, had multiple HH2's and still the issues persist.  Been a customer for nearly 2 years and still have 12 months to run but enough is enough.
    Get out while you can.
Your talking rubbish , there is NO 14 day period and you weren't slammed, you willingly took out a upgrade and therefore a new contract, that is not slamming.
A few months with Virgin media and you might be coming back
