CC Membership Problem

I have been a member of Creative Cloud for over a year and suddenly I can no longer load Photoshop 6.  It wants me to put in a serial number.  I was checking to see if my copy of Photoshop 5 from CS5 still worked and after I checked (it did) I could no longer load Photoshop 6.  I don't know if those 2 things are related or coincidental.  I have a clas and need to get my CC account working again.

    Hello,
    I've written my own authentication module. If
    a user has eg forgotten to fill in his password he is redirected to a page
    with an error message. The HTML-pages that are for the Membership-module contain
    a form with a continue button. However when I push this button I get a blank
    page. This happens also with the Membership module. If I don't fill in required
    fields I get the error-page with the continue button. Pressing this button
    results in a blank page. Any Idea what could be wrong?
    Can't I just put a link with URL to restart the authentication process?

    I fixed some problems in the config file. Here is my current problem.

  • User's Group Membership problem with enterprise domain

    Hi
    I have some problems synchronizing Active Directory in LiveCycle ES 8.0.1.
    I'm able to import the users and groups from an active directory to a enterprise domain... but the asociation user to group is not keeped.
    The problem could be why the DN of users is different to the DN of the group?
    the DN users is something like this:
    OU=CED,OU=CDC Utent,DC=house,DC=lan
    and the DN of the group:
    DC=house,DC=lan

    Ok, I think that is not DN value the problem... I tried with another active directory and the association user to group is keeped! But why?
    In the users details of active directory that doesn't synchronize well I have 2 more attribute:
    dSCorePropagationData
    profilePath
    But really I don't understand where is the problem. Maybe the version of Active Directory?
    Does anybody else have this weird issue?

    hi,
    how can i find out to which group does the user belong to in SunONE
    LDAP server? Do i need to iterate through each group in the server?
    is there any memberOf attribute that is automatically set when we make
    a user member of a particular group? This happens automatically in MS
    Active Directory 2003.

  • Adobe muse membership problem

    I have Creative Cloud, paying the student prices for it... I've been using it for a little while and it's worked fine. I recieved an E-Mail yesterday saying that they've taken payment and the next payment date will be January 11th.
    Today I tried to open Adobe muse but it said i needed to sign in.. upon signing in, I was told I do not have product, saying I can't access it. The payment is also currently coming out of my bank account.
    What can I do?

    I tested this site on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer version 11.0.9600.17358 and the site seems to be working fine.
    And I believe you are right and this seems to be a browser specific issue and that too some older version of a particular browser possibly IE (older versions).
    Can you please confirm any specific browser version?
    Also, If at all this issue arises in some older versions of any browser, I would request you to inform your client to update to the latest version of the browser so that the rendering of the content of your site is not adversely impacted.

  • Renewing membership problem!

    My iOS developer program needed to be renewed, so I clicked renew and it asked for my apple ID. However as I have 2 apple IDs (one for purchasing iTunes music etc, and one for iPhone development) I stupidly filled in my iTunes one. Then I completed the process and paid for it, and then I realised what I did! I have an activation code that has been sent to my address, but I haven't clicked on it as obviously I don't want to set up another iPhone development account. If I click on it will I be able to somehow login to my proper iPhone development apple ID and use my activation code to renew that or will I have to ring apple support and get them to cancel that activation code?

  • Trying (and Trying) to upgrade from Basis to Plus Membership

    Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to upgrade.
    I have chatted with 3 different Adobe reps about this and they were not able to give me any help. I have called Adobe and sat on hold for over 1 1/2 hours, sent messages to tech support and no one gives me any usefull assistance.  All they kept telling me to do is to go to my Photoshop.com account and upgrade from there, but all that gives me the ability to do is to buy more online storage but I want the "extras" that come  with the Plus Membership.  I sent a message to tech support and they finally sent me an email and all it did was guide me to a forum that shows me all the other people who are having the same problem.  This membership is about $49.00 so i have to wonder if Adobe doesnt want the revenue from all these people who are wanting to upgrade.  I am litterly at my wits end here, i am frustrated with the customer service of Adobe.  This should be a very basis thing to do but it is a nightmare.  Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks everyone.

  • Spotlight comments not available?

    I've developed an internal website at work that uses PHP, MySQL, Applescript and PDF files to manage the workflow for print projects.
    The basic setup is that a user "publishes" a PDF from InDesign using an Applescript (which ensures the PDF is created with standard settings and file security) and the PDF is copied to the webserver into a folder for review. The applescript then puts the designer's name into the PDF's Spotlight comments.
    Someone reviews the project from a web-page, which looks in the folder and displays thumbnails of its contents. PHP runs an exec() to get the Spotlight comments, and displays the designer's name below the thumbnail, along with the date and time the PDF was "published".

    The problem I'm running into is that this command is not consistently returning the Spotlight comment. Often the PHP webpage says it's empty, but when I go to the networked volume where these PDFs are stored and Get Info, I can see the correct comment.
    The comment will only appear if I use the Finder on the machine that houses the PDF and Get Info. Subsequent viewings of the PHP webpage then return the correct comment.
    How can I force the Finder to get the current Spotlight comment without having to manually check the file first?

    Running the password reset actually recreated the problem but that's ok because it helped lead me to the true cause and answer. Being a member of the wrong group can cause all sorts of annoying problems e.g. asking for authentication when deleting files, spotlight not indexing some files etc. Luckily this post http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=200711291134001 had the answer. I'll sum it up here:
    I had a problem with spotlight not indexing some files especially spotlight comments. I'd tried deleting spotlight-V100 to re-index and many other things which did not work when all along it was a group membership problem.
    I had upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. The GUI tools in Leopard showed my primary group was staff and nothing looked wrong until I discovered the Unix commands thanks to your great script. I didn't run the script but it was very well commented so I knew what the commands did if I ran them in terminal.
    dscl . read /Groups/staff
    showed I wasn't in the group staff. (even though system preferences>accounts>advanced options said i was!)
    sudo dscl . append /Groups/staff GroupMembership $USER
    added me to group staff.
    sudo chgrp -R staff $HOME
    changes group ownership on all files in home to staff.
    sudo diskutil repairPermissions /
    repair disk permissions.
    Reboot.

    I'm having problems with spotlight comments not being indexed on some files.

    Thanks a lot. The missing files soon after running the command appeared in the smart folder. I migrated from Tiger to Leopard and I have had various issues which I've only recently discovered is due to changes in how Mac OS X now handles access. Hopefully this command has done the job.
    I also had some folders and files which were either missing the staff group or had permission problems. I used the following commands to fix this. 755 gives the current user read, write and execute access and gives the group the current user belongs to (probably staff or admin) read and execute access and everyone gets read and execute access. I only used these commands in folders containing my documents not in my ~Library or anywhere else that contains system files.
    How to change folders or files to default user, group and permissions
    Open terminal:
    for folders use
    chmod -R 755 (drag and drop folder here) [press enter]
    (-R switch = recursively applies to all sub-folders and sub-files)
    for files use
    chmod 755 (drag and drop file here) [press enter]

  • Acrobat XI is installed in App Manager, but does not open

    System:
    Windows 764x
    Current Creative Cloud Membership
    Problem:
    Acrobat XI appears as Installed in the Application Manager, but: 1) does not open when Launch App is clicked, and 2) does not appear in the Start Menu.
    Steps to Resolve:
    Attempt 1:
    1) Using Windows Add Remove Programs, uninstalled Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.
    2) Restarted.
    3) Removed all stray folders not removed through the default uninstallation process.
    4) Restarted.
    5) Reinstalled Acrobat.
    Result: Same Result. Acrobat does not open.
    Attempt 2:
    1) Repeated steps 1-4 listed above.
    2) Downloaded adobe_creative_suite_cleaner_tool, extrated it, and followed the removal instructions to Remove All.
    3) Restarted.
    4) Reinstalled Acrobat.
    Result: Same Result. Acrobat does not open.
    Question:
    What do I need to do to resolve this issue.

    This is an indication that Lightroom is not connected to your subscription. Verify that your are logged into the Creative Cloud desktop app, or try logging out and back in again to refresh your subscription information: Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app.
    Also, verify that your student subscription is still current and active.

  • Update and membership screen problems

    Photoshop Elements9.03 update won't install. Adobe AIR support advisor says there is no problem.
    a 2nd problem, I just installed this version in my laptop and my membership screen doesn't load. If I go to the internet and enter my url. it is there. I have gone to my Welcome screne and opened it, and it doesn't accept my correct password.

    I had the problem before the firmware update, and I still have it. It's peculiar because the sound controls work and you get feed back when you hit the space or return key, indicating that there's a software jam somewhere; and the keyboard lighting works.
    At first I went through shut down and restart using the on/off button.
    Current strategy is to wait a while, then shut the lid, wait until the sleep light goes on, then lift the lid again, and hit the return button. There's some very subtle changes in the whirring and clicking and then the screen comes back on. Sometimes it seems to come on after I lift the lid the second time without my having to hit the return button.
    I'm suspicious of the sudden motion sensor, since this usually happens after I've picked up the MacBook Pro and put it on my lap; but I haven't shut that off yet and tested it. There are, I think, some threads under the "Power and Batteries" forum that may be discussing the same thing.
