CHANGES IN KONV TABLE on VA02 ADDRESS CHANGE

hi SAP experts ,
can any one say when the sales order is changed in the T code. va02 ( just changed the address )
the condition table is changing its values like vat is getting zero .
can any one please say the reason behind it .
here i have attached the change in the the konv table

Evertime you change the sales order (it's not important what you change) the pricing is calculated again.
It seems the system can't calculate the header conditions again so they are reset...why? Probably it depends on your pricing procedures

Restricting the partner address change in both VA01 & VA02

Hi All,
In Sales Order Creation / Change i need to make the partner address fields editable but want a restriction on save.
For that i am doing the following:
Change:
This is possible by restricting the update comparing YVBPA & XVBPA table using parameter UPDKZ.
Create:
In the create scenario YVBPA table remains empty.Are there any other tables I should look at to restrict this address data change?
However, there is a table XVBADR , changes to which do not influence the final display address.
Alternatively , do we have an alternative approach to restrict the partner address change in both VA01 & VA02?

Resolved by using YVBPA & XVBPA tables.

Updating a vendor table when address changes in infotype 6

hello all,
when an employee changes his personal information in the PZ02 service, it updates the infotype 6, as soon as the update is done it has to update the LFA1 or LFB! vendor table.
is there a workaround for this

whenever there is an address change in IT6 it should update the vendor table(for eg: if changes are done in PA30 and not from ess, so its kind of generic version that i have to create to update the vendor table either from ess or PA30).
i am already using the HR_ESS_ADDRESSDETAIL and HR_ESS_ADDRESSLIST for changing the fields on the iview.
(t77www_sc)and linking it to pz02.so what u mean is i can go ahead and write the code in the same module for updates.
is this is the only way to do it, or we can do it by BAPI_address_change.
I am trying to know all the different ways it can be done.
a)can i use a BAPI if so which one?
b) can i do it thru workflow.
c)or user exit.

Ship To address changed in SO, is it updated in Delivery?

Sales order is created, delivery is created.
Then in VA02, in sales order header level, Tab Partners, ShipTo Street/House No. is changed. Does this change go through to the delivery automatically?

Hi,
After much testing (and reading theory), I have got it.
With regards to changes done in the Street address of SH To in a sales order, there are 2 PARTS.
Part 1 - Changes do NOT come through -
You have created a sales order, then created a delivery.
In table VBPA, Address indication for WE is Dand address # is say 83630 .
Now you go to VA02, Header level, Tab Partners, change Street / House number. Save sales order.
In VL02N, check the delivery SH To address - there is NO change. (it remains the original)
In table VBPA, Address indication for WE is now E and address # is say 9000000748 .
Part 2 - Changes do come through -
You have created a sales order, then in VA02 you change the SH To information (Street / House #). Then created a delivery.
In table VBPA, Address indication for WE is E and address # is say 9000000749.
The delivery shall have the changed SH To information.
Then you go to VA02, AGAIN change the SH To address (i.e. Change2) in the sales order. Go to VL02N, you shall see that Change2 has automatically come through to the delivery.
So, in part 2, when ever you change SH To address in your sales order, the change shall be automatically updated in your delivery.
The reason for this is - in my understanding -
In table VBPA, Address indication for WE is E and address # is STILL 9000000749. Thus system is checking E and 900000749 both are same as before, thus NO delivery split, NO problem; the SH To with change2 is transferred from sales order to the delivery.
When SAP consultants did tests in accordance to Part 1, there was no automatic change in SH To address is delivery. That is correct.
I suggest - for this particular case - you delete the delivery and after doing changes in your order, create a new delivery. The changes shall come through.
After that any number of changes done in the sales order, those shall come through to your delivery. (Of course all this is with condition that invoice is not yet created, as discussed earlier)

Address change in customer master

Hi Experts,
I have cretaed sales order and processed it with one customer.Created Delivery and posted goods issue.
After that I have changed the address of the customer and noticed that the adress is changed in the processed order also.
I would to like to know what is base intension of this.

Dear Nagi,
All Customer Address are stored in a central table - ADRC.
Infact this ADRC is the Master Table of all addresses in system (It is used for addresses of Customer, Vendors, other Business Partner, etc)
So any change you make in Customer Master Record in XD02 / VD02 it would change the entry in the ADRC & would show this effect in all the past documents also (like Sales Orders / Deliveries, etc).
This is SAP standard & you cannot change it.
Address details are only exception here. Rest all other data like payment terms, Condition record data are document specific. Meaning once the Document is created & saved any change in the Master Record would not impact the aleready processed documents.
Alternatively you can change the Customer Address while processing Sales Order:
VA02 - Double Click on Customer code & you will go to Header - partner screen.
Here once again click on required Partner code & you will go to Address screen. Here you can change the address (which is proposed from Customer Master record). This address change in Sales Order would be applicable only for the particular Sales Order & its subsequent documents. The Master Record would not be changed.

In order to track the changes in the KONV table, go to table CDHDR and give objectclass and objectid, you will get all the details.

Ship-to address changes on customer master not updating orders

We have recently noticed that ship-to address changes on the customer master made with XD02 no longer show up on existing standard orders. Similar changes to the sold-to addresses do show up but no tthe ship-to addresses. Does anyone know how we can resolve this problem?

the adresses of a partner is
- with reference to the master-data ( if unchanges in the Order )
- of copied in the order and then changed and saved onlyy for the order.
in the first case, a change of the main data will effect a change in the order.
in the second case, the change of the main data will not change the order, data - they are separate.
you can see this in se16 / table vbpa.
look at the adressnumber.
Adressnumbers of 9++++ are of the 2nd - manual type.
I guess, in the ship to partner, there is done a manual change in the order.
in solt to data normally you don't need such a change. therfor the sold-to partner will get the changes of masterdata -- the ship to partner has manual adress of the orden.

Partner Function Address change at line item level - Item Partners checkbox

Hi guru, we have a requirement that we need to change the address for partner function at line item level without changing the partner number. Currently the ship-to partner function address is automatically coming from the header although the number is modifiable but not the address (when double click into the partner number, the pop-up is grayed out). It is probably because the Item partner check box for the shipto partner is not checked (field name: SD_PARTNER_POSFLAG). However that field is not modifiable in VA02 either.
If the shipto partner number is overwritten, then the item partner check-box is automatically checked and allows address chanage. Is there a way in the configuration that can default the 'item partners' checkbox for certain partner so the address can be changed without the need to overwrite the account?
Any advice is appreciated.

If the item level ship-to party is derived from header partner function, but you want to change the address at item screen rather than header level. On item screen, enter the same function, the same number again in a new line, "item partner SD_PARTNER_POSFLAG" is then ticked. Then proceed to the address change.
No need to do modification.

Ship to address changed in already invoiced orders

Hello SAP Experts,
Is there a way to prevent customer (ship to) address change in already invoiced sales orders while changing ship to address in XD02?
Since the address pointing to ADRC table, everytime we make changes in XD02, it is reflecting in all SD documents new and old. My client has a unique requirement, they want to change the address in XD02, which should only change to new sales orders. They do not want to change the address in already invoiced sales orders.

I try in my server ur problem.
First i checked Sales report one particular customer yesterday and today report their one name is there.
After that i changed same customer New Name after that i post one document.
and i checked sales report in that New name came for all document include old document also
So May be ur case also if u change address, i think new address will show.
U also first try in sandbox server.
Bcz i am not sure abt this.

ESS Address Change

My client is implementing ESS in R/3 4.6 and portal 6
Currently we are implementing Address Change functionality.
The issue is:
In R/3 Address Infotype for US we are not using the field County, and it is enabled.
But we are getting this field in portal as input field.
They dont want this field in portal in Address screen.
Even in PZ02 transaction we are getting this field as input field.

Hi Abdul,
Its a generic table for ESS Screens.
If I remember correctly, when there is no entry maintained in this table, you need to maintain it manually for your specific Molga and Infotype.

P2V migration and IP Address change

Hi,
We're using Business Objects Enterprise 11.0.0.748. We're trying to move our server into a virtual environment. Part of this process requires an IP address change as well. After the conversion, the BOE services fail to start. Is there any known issues with P2V or IP address changes?

If all of your users disappeared, then it sounds like the application/publication had been dropped and re-created on the mobile server
Depending on whether or not there are users associated with the application, the publish seems to slightly different checks (as if there is a user defined, so will the data subsetting value and it can do a test select, rather than just a syntax test)
You could try re-publishing the application and see if you get any errors (set GLOBAL tracing in the mobile manager and this will let you identify the publication item throwing the error and why)
sometimes there are no errors, but the users still do not get instantiated. This is a pain to track down - last time i had to do this i had to cut all but one of the publication items out of the application, publish, check the user instantiated and then repeat this adding in the publication items one at a time until the user became de-instantiated. The root cause that time was a view containing a table cast that was defined as fast refresh and although syntactically correct (which is why no error), the mobile server could not cope with this. Changing the publication item to be complete refresh fixed it in theis case

These determine whether the address is primary or not, and also what type of address it is.

Hello,
someone made change to ship-to-address on the sales order , can i find who made this change.
I have looked at tables cdhdr and cdpos but they dont have enough information in them.
Is there anywhere else I can get this from?

You will not get change information of address changes in relation to the Order Number. The change document object of Address is ADRESSE. Object id will be generated in relation to the address number of the Customer Code (Like SD01<Address Number>).
Edit : You can get the address number by referring to table field VBPA-ADRNR where VBPA-PARVW = 'WE'.

EBS financial Sales Order Acknowledgement Address change

Kind of a newbie question, new to apps space with 11.5.10.2, maybe I initially posted under the wrong forum
Question on Sales Order Acknowledgement Address change
our company recently moved to a new location so needs address change below our Company logo.
Where Bill to: & Ship To: address fields are fine. Just the organization address needs to be changed below our company logo.
Was going back & forth on the Navigator -> Application Developer -> FlexField : Descriptive -> Segments {Order Management}
Looking for the rights fields to be update so it gets changed in the SO Acknowledgement when it gets published through the XML publisher I believe.

Reconfiguring EBS after IP address change

Hi All,
In our EBS(12.1.3) , only IP addresses have been changed as part of a migration.
I believe I need to clean up FND_NODES and rerun autoconfig for IP change to be recorded in the table.
I also need to do changes to listener and tnsnames if they are using IP address.
I could not find any standard doc on metalink. Can somebody refer me the standard oracle's steps on reconfiguring EBS after an IP change.
