Changing default route after import route-target

Hi there,
Before I import route-target, the default route is set to 192.168.0.22 . After import the vrf, suddently it change to another PE, which is 192.168.0.19 . How do I force the default route to use 192.168.0.22 ?

Here's an example:

BTW: if the route with RT 4000:1 had a different RD both routes would get imported in the VRF and you could set the local-pref using an import map instead of an inbound route-map on the VPNv4 session.

Connect Software won't connect to router after resetting router on any of my computers

I had to do a reset of the router. I have done it with the button on back and through the web based interface. I have followed all directions on uninstalling connect after restarting the router. I get an error that says it does not know if it is connected to the internet.. Well it isn't. I have tried numerous times and the connect will not install. I would like to get it back the way it was when I originally installed it. The key does remember the admin and password but it only allows me to get to the web based interface.
I have tried everything I know to get the key to work again to no avail.
Could someone please tell me what I am missing when I try to use the connect software after resetting the router?

So as per the concern you mentioned that Cisco Connect Software won't connect to the Internet after resetting the router... So could you inform us the model number of the Router that you are using it in the Network...
As well as please inform us that who provides you Internet means who is your ISP ( Internet Service Provider ) ? Check if you can go online from the modem connected directly to the computer... If you can browse the Internet then check whether there is any manual IP address given to your computer or not...

My google changed default language after updating safari

I recently updated the safari software on my macbook. As I live in New Zealand I use google.co.nz however after updating safari, the default country has changed to the Netherlands (I'm guessing as it's hard to tell as everything is written in another language). Any time that I go on a google related page or service such as blogger, or using the google toolbar in safari it automatically uses the Netherlands version now, which is really annoying as I have no idea what it is saying, and I really need to go back to using english. Is there any way that I can change this? I tried looking up help on the google help page but it doesn't display those pages in english either which isn't very helpful.

I setup my Mac in English and I only have the languages English and German selected in System Preferences - Language & Text - Language (I am on OS X Mountain Lion).
Within Safari 6.0 the reset dialog sligthly changed and mine looks now like:
Safari's help states that:
Remove all website data:
Removes cookies, tracking information, and other data that websites stored on your computer.
So that's why I did not select 'Remove all website data' (although I would love to).
But nevertheless all that did not help and my Google search within Safari still defaults to 'French' :-(

Changing track order after importing

I am trying to import opera CDs into my iTunes library. Operas usually take up 2 or 3 CDs, and when I try to upload the multiple CDs to my library, iTunes mixes up the order of the tracks so that I can't listen to the opera in order. How do I change the order of the tracks in the iTunes library so that I can listen to the opera in order?

Try this, I found that it works for me. Right click at the top of any column in your iTunes library and choose **Track Number** from the list. Click at the top of this new column to sort it and after that click on the Album by year column. If you like you can then click on Artist, it will continue to hold the track order as well. Afterwards anything you import should follow this arrangement Track Number>Album>Artist. Make sure the little triangle on the right side of the track number column header is pointing up. In that direction the column is sorted in Ascending order (lowest to highest).

Changes in application after import- Urgent help!!

We have a QA HTML DB instance and Production HTML DB instance. When we export applications from the QA instance and import it on to the production instance we are seeing some changes in the application. Some of the changes are
1. A popup lov is not getting initialized. Getting the error "Unable to initialize query". The same popup LOV is working in QA instance. Also, if I run the query of the popup LOV in the SQL Command processor of the production instance I am able to see the records.
2. A "blank" entry is getting inserted in the select list. I have not enabled to show NULL value in the attributes of the select list. I cannot see this "blank" entry in QA.
3. Checkboxes in a region are re aligned.
The only difference between the QA and production instance is the characterset. The QA is on WE8ISO8859P1 NLS_CHARACTERSET and production is on AL32UTF8 NLS_CHARACTERSET.
When we export the application we see that it is exported in WE8ISO8859P1, so when we import we have tried both WE8ISO8859P1 and AL32UTF8. But we are still seeing these changes.
Is this change related to the characterset issue? or something else? We cannot change the characterset of the QA instance to AL32UTF8 as of now and if its is character set issue is there a work around?
Any help is appreciated.

Yes, both databases are running the same version of HTML DB i.e 2.0.0.00.49
Oracle versions are different, QA -10.1.0.3.0, Production - 10.2.0.1.0
The database objects are similar, the schema was exported from QA database and imported on to production database. Data is also same.

Changing file classification after importing

I've got loads of CDs that contain spoken word and radio plays. When I imported them, the contents were automatically classified as individual songs and put in my Music library. Any way to have them reclassified as Audiobooks?
I'd also like to have iTunes simply play them from the start to finish rather than have to tinker with shuffle and gapless playback settings; any way to tell iTunes to automatically treat a group of individual files as a single continuous file, without having to manually glue them together in Garageband etc?
Finally, I subscribe to a number of video podcasts. Some episodes take the form of short videos that form part of a continuous story; others are 'speacials' that have no place to the central plot. I want to catalog these podcasts so I can have the ongoing plot as a TV series and the specials as Movies.
(I'm a bit of an OCD organiser and already make extensive use of playlists, smart playlists and folders; they're not really proving to be a helpful substitute for correct classification, especially where iPod syncing is concerned.)

Handy, but a less than ideal solution when a CD contains more than one episode
Plus they've already all been uploaded and the CDs put in a case in the loft, I'd rather be doing something with the files already on my HD.

PNG background changes to black after import

I have a large library of image elements, many in PNG format. Most of the PNGs are black with a transparent background. When I look at the thumbnails in the Import panel, I see the image with transparency preserved. However, once they've been imported, the transparency is lost and since the images are black on a now-black background, I can't see them in either the preview or the main image.
How do I turn off the black background for PNGs? This was the major reason I bought Aperture instead of just using Picasa to manage this library.

I have a feeling this is possibly related to the black screen problem.

Change default information after Work Inbox

So I’m not sure if I’m asking the right questions but I’m trying to understand what configuration or program is responsible for the information I
see after clicking on a Work Inbox request. Basically I did all the configuration (workflow) for EAM and the problem I’m having is that after I submit the Access Request and the request gets to the FF Owner and after I click on the request a the window to submit request to next stage opens but with no relevant information (screenshot attach), can someone let me know how to add info to this screen? We want to add at least the reason for the request but in general I think some configuration step is missing.

Change default SL after UD

Dear QM experts,
I am having a scenario,
Production from Storage location1 (SL1) by REM- Mov. Type 131 ---> Receipt at (SL2) -
> QA at SL2 and after QA material goes to same SL which is SL2 .
Here i need to send material after quality to any other SL (say SL5) in place of same SL(SL2) .
Please let me know that how to do it.

Cp4 - not saving after importing slides

I imported sldes from another Captivate 4 project only to discover that all changes I made after the import weren't saved. I selected Save but the asterisk in the project title window didn't appear. I tried quitting Captivate to force a save. The dialogue asking me to save appeared - I clicked Save and Captivate just sat there. I had to use Task Manager to quit the application and, when I reopened my file, the imported slides and the changes I made after importing were gone.
So importing slides is one more feature that doesn't appear to work.
I'm at the end of my first week working with Captivate 4 and I'm not impressed. The new features look promising but were they bought at the expense of older features that no longer work?

Wrt1900ac (I changed the local ip of the router after a power outage)

I changed the local ip of the router after a power outage,which brings me a lot of trouble because I have everything set up based on a class C network (192.168.1.x) and I changed it to a ip Type A (10.xxx), someone happens the same there any solution ?

Hi juanmanuelvazquez. Have you tried to do a hard reset to the unit and reinstall it from scratch? I suggest that you do so as power interruption normally brings the router back to default settings thereby messing up the network. To do the proper reset, please press down the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds while the device is powered on. Release the button and unplug the device. Reinstall everything from scratch.

STMS Transport Route Administration - Import Targets not modifiable.

Hello. I'm trying to configure cCTS for use with CHARM. I have created my system clusters and defined a consolidation and delivery route for the clusters. Now when I double click on my clusters in edit mode and navigate to the Import Targets tab, I am not able to modify this tab. I have been following the cCTS for CHARM and QGM Configuration guide.

I'm also working with OSS SAP Support now to try and resolve my issue.
In short I can some up the problem and testing completed so far.
To Start:
The Server group removed old QA server from our SAP Landscape, therefore STMS Transport Route required rebuilding.
Systems:
We have a very complex system setup with SAP R3, CRM and BW systems. Each system has it's own server (Dev = R3D, CRD & BWD, QA Testing is now = R3T, CRT & BWT, Production = R3P, CRP & BWP) The Original QA servers are now being removed (R3Q, CRQ & BWQ)
CRD is the Transport Domain Controller, with transport bins located on CRD for R3D & BWD, CRT for R3T & BWT and CRP for R3P & BWP. (Firewalls and Server locations are the root cause for the different Trans Directories)
Transport route:
Transport route for SAP R3 was: R3D -> R3Q -> R3T & R3P (in a delivery group). The new Transport Route needs to be R3D -> R3T -> R3P.
Main Problem now: With the Transport Route configured like R3D -> R3T -> R3P, any new transport requests created in R3D moves to the R3T Import Queue automatically when the transport is released. Once the transport is successfully imported into R3T, it should automatically be added to the R3P Import Queue, but does not.
Present work around: I've reconfigured the Transport route to R3D -> R3T & R3P. Any tranport request once released, is successfully added to both the R3T & R3P Import Queues.
I have checked all SAPService<sid> OS users and passwords, ensured that the TMSADM user was recreated and working on each of the systems, used telnet to log onto each of the servers from each of the other servers at the OS level (to ensure it's not a landscape firewall security issue), I've also checked all RFC connections in the same manner (to ensure each system can reach the others), recreated the route from R3T to R3P as both a Consolidation and a Delivery type of route,
I will post any resolution found later.

ASA 5520 - Can not change default route.

My asa is sitting behind a router the next hop from the ASA to the router is 10.0.0.5 I have tried to change the default route to route DMZ 0 0 10.0.0.5 to no availability right now the default route is (S*   0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 [1/0] via 172.16.8.20, Outside) but even if I were to do a "no route Outside 0 0 172.16.8.20" the default route does not disappear when I do a "sh route" command. ant help would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize for not being clear hopefully this helps. Basically the default route should be: route DMZ 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.10.10.5, I had to add a metric of 2 because otherwise it would conflict with the Gateway of last resort, the interesting part is if I try to remove the current gateway of last resort then the error I get is %No matching route to delete and I try to add the new route I get ERROR: Cannot add route entry, conflict with existing routes.

Importing route targets

Dear friends,
Just to give an example, lets take vrf A (source vrf) and vrf B (destination vrf where we are saying route-target import) and let x:y be the export route-target used by vrf A.
When i say route-target import x:y in vrf B, then what exactly am i importing?
Am i importing only routes for directly connected networks on vrf A and static routes redistributed into vrf A?
What about routes that are exported from other vrf's but set with the extcommunity that matches this route-target x:y. Are they also imported?
What about the other route-targets imported into vrf A? Do they also land into vrf B?

Hi Gautam,
When you configure route-target import x:y under a VRF, you actually import into the PE VPNv4 table all the VPNv4 prefixes which has one of their RT set to x:y.
To export a route, the PE needs first to add it into the VRF BGP table. So you need to redistribute those routes into the address-family ipv4 vrf sub-mode configuration. The way those routes are learned from the CE depends of the configuration: could be dynamic via BGP, OSPF,.. or static
An imported route is never exported back to the backbone.
