Child table data Recon is not happening

Hi All,
I have a requirement to create a custom scheduler in OIM11g, to generate recon events.
-I have one parent field - which is 'required' in the RO recon mapping
- Rest 5 fileds are together as one in a child table and again mentioned in RO recon field mappings
While I am able to generate the recon event, but have not been able to pass the child table data/rows, as together, to the child table data in the recon.
*********Also I am able to pass child data and generate an event, if I create 5 child tables- one for each field linked to the parent form by using the following methods:
reconciliationOperationsIntf.createReconciliationEvent(resObjName, usrAttributes,false);
reconciliationOperationsIntf.addMultiAttributeData()
reconciliationOperationsIntf.providingAllMultiAttributeData()
******However my requirement is to have only one child table- with all the 5 fields as rows in that only one child table (whose recon data then should come in recon event).
******I am getting the following error frequently when I am trying to do solve this issue, by using reconciliationOperationsIntf methods
"Oim Child Table Name is null based on child mapping <fieldname> "
Kindly tell what approach should be taken to solve this issue. Any general code for the same, posted will be a great help.
Also tell me if the above issue is some configuration issue with recon mappings or something else.
Regards

Hi Suren,
I am creating recon profile whenever I am doing configuration changes .
I have mapped the child table--- inside RO-> Object Reconciliation mapping--> Add Field
I am giving any name to this field, and type as 'multi valued attribute'
Under this above created field , I have then added the 5 fields of Child table.
Created recon profile.
It is still giving the same error as- " oracle.iam.reconciliation.exception.ReconciliationException: Oim Child Table Name is null based on child mapping <Field 1 of the 5 fields>l "
on encoutering this---
reconAPI.addMultiAttributeData(eventkey, <Field 1 of the 5 fields>, map)

  • Child Table data not coming in custom recon event.

    Hi All
    I have a requirement where I have to create a recon event from the custom java code. There is one attribute which is a multii valued attr. Now I am able to create the recon event but have not been able to bring the child table data to the event.
    following is the code I am trying with oimclient. countryList is the multi vlue field in the child table. On running I am getting "current Status" = Data Recieved and getting the employeeID, accessType and businessJust values with the even but not countryList
    HashMap record = new HashMap();
    record.put("employeeID", "test" + ran.nextInt());//"test1841519422");
    record.put("accessType", "testXXXX");
    record.put("countryList", "India");
    record.put("businessJust","Faltoo");
    HashMap record2 = new HashMap();
    record2.put("countryList", "India");
    long createReconciliationEvent;
    createReconciliationEvent = reconAPI.createReconciliationEvent("RO Name", record, false);
    System.out.println("Event: " + createReconciliationEvent);
    reconAPI.addMultiAttributeData(createReconciliationEvent,"countryList",record2);
    System.out.println("check2");
    reconAPI.providingAllMultiAttributeData(createReconciliationEvent,"countryList", true);
    System.out.println("check3");
    reconAPI.finishReconciliationEvent(createReconciliationEvent);
    System.out.println("closing successful2");
    Please let me know what else I should do, or what I am doing wrong

    What version of R2 or R2PS1? What is the exact patch level? There is an open issue on R2- with some BP &  PS1 (upto BP02 I think) where the issue occurs when there are multiple application instances of the same resource object. Do you have same scenario? If so what are the names of the application instance form names in the sandbox? Make sure you use the same form name for both the application instances in the sandbox.
    As long as the UD_ tables (both for parent and child) are filled up, it should be displayed in the child form of the resource under the accounts tab. The values from the child table are shown in the entitlements tab only if the child table column is marked with entitlement=true and you have run the entitlement list job.

  • How to filter parent and child tables data in impdp?

    Hi Friends,
    i hope everyone doing good..
    I have two tables in my schema like below.
    STUDENT_DTLS:-
    SID Sname CID
    1     venkat     001
    2     uppy     002
    3     deepu     003
    4     trinath     003
    5     naveen     004
    6     ramesh     005
    COURSE_DTLS:-
    CID CNAME Fee
    001     Oracle     2000
    002     java     6000
    003     sieble     4000
    004     informatica     3000
    005     obiee 4000
    if I load only few Student details say sid=1,2,3 into another environment using impdp,corresponding to those students course details from COURSE_DTLS table only need to be loaded.Not all course details.
    Iam Expecting Result in new schema as below:-
    SID Sname CID
    1     venkat     001
    2     uppy     002
    3     deepu     003
    CID CNAME Fee
    001     Oracle     2000
    002     java     6000
    003     sieble     4000
    But when i am using the below import scrit,The COURSE_DTLS is loading first and its query option(select cid from STUDENT_DTLS) is returning no rows.Because at that time no data is insertred into STUDENT_DTLS yet.
    secondly it is importing data into STUDENT_DTLS with query option where sid=in (1,2,3) which is loaded propelry.
    Thirdly it is trying to enable primary key and Foreign key constraints which is also failing because of no data in COURSE_DTLS table.
    i have changed the order of tables in TABLES clause like tables=COURSE_DTLS ,STUDENT_DTLS.But still COURSE_DTLS table is loading first.

    Please suggest me how to achieve this task in a single import command?
    Is there any option in impdp to prioritize the table to be loaded first?
    Thanks,
    Venkat Vadlamudi

    You can't be guaranteed which order the data will be loaded in, so using a query that examines a table that is being imported is not going to always work the way you want it. The failing constraints makes sense because there is no data.
    So, in your case, course_dtls gets imported first and the table student-dtls exists, but it not populated yet, so the select cid from student_dtls comes back with 0 rows. The second query works fine.
    You might be able to change the query to be:
    'COURSE_DTLS:"where cid in(select cid from STUDENT_DTLS@qdssih30 where SID IN(1,2,3)"'
    This way, you query the source table pointed to by the network link and you use the same subquery from the first table.
    This should work for you... I think anyway.

  • Foreign-key autocreation in child table giving issue in the application

    Hi,
      I am facing an issue with partitioning a table that foreign key relationship is created on the original table with interim table. This gives exception in the application because of its existence. Please suggest me how to get rid of this issue.
    Let's say my table T_TABLENAME has to be partitioned. It has a child table T_CHILD_TABLENAME which references (FK_T1) ID column of T_TABLENAME.
    While partitioning, COPY_TABLE_DEPENDENTS function copies/creates the key/index/trigger objects for the interim table. [I need copy_constraints => TRUE in COPY_TABLE_DEP call], Fine.
    But, after partitioning is done, the foreign key (TMP$$_FK_T1) object exists with the child table which should absolutely not happen as this forms dependency with interim table as well along with parent table.
    Here my script goes:
    i) Creating interim table
    CREATE TABLE T_TABLENAME_PT
    PARTITION BY RANGE (CREATED_DATE)
    (PARTITION P_2007 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('01-JAN-2008','dd-MON-yyyy')),
    PARTITION P_2009 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('01-JAN-2010','dd-MON-yyyy')),
    PARTITION P_2011 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('01-JAN-2012','dd-MON-yyyy')),
    PARTITION P_2012 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('01-JAN-2013','dd-MON-yyyy')),
    PARTITION P_RECENT VALUES LESS THAN (MAXVALUE))
    AS SELECT * FROM T_TABLENAME WHERE 1=2;

    END;

    Thanks for your information. I am using Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.2.0 - 64bit.
    1) I am logging the exceptions in a logger table.
    2) If CAN_REDEF_TABLE gives exception, flow goes to the final EXCEPTION block and program terminates. So if no exceptions, the other steps comes into the flow of execution.

  • How to refresh a child table each time I select a row in the master table

    I've 2 tables, a master table and a child table.
    When i click on each row of the master table, the child table needs to be refreshed.
    I've given the id of table1(master) as the CreatePartialTrigger value in table2(child).
    The refresh does happen but it happens in an inconsistent manner.
    For eg. in my scenario,
    1.I add a row to the master table
    2.Click on the create button of the child table, this opens a popup and i enter a few values and the child row gets added.
    3.Now when i toggle between the rows in my master table, the refresh does not happen and I see duplicate rows in the child table but in the datebase only one record gets stamped..
    Is there any clean way to refresh the child table based on the row selection in the master table.
    Kindly let me know.

    createPopupId="create1"
    editEnabled="false"
    createPartialTriggers="table1"

    Hi Frank,
    As you mentioned I already have the id of my master table which is 'table1' as the createPartialTrigger in my child table.
    In my case there are 2 scenarios.
    I add a row to the Master table and when I click on the create button on the chile table, I get a pop with 'Yes' , 'No' and 'Cancel'
    Scenario1
    If I click 'Yes' , then I get another popup where I enter the values for the ActionReasonsActionReasonUsagesVO which is a combination of the ActionReasonsEO and the ActionReasonUsagesEO, now when I click on OK, a new row gets created in the ActionReasonsActionReasonUsagesVO.
    In the above scenario things work fine, as I toggle between the rows in the Master table the child table gets refreshed.
    Scenario2
    If I click 'No' I get a search popup where I can query up the ActionReasonsVO and select existing data,on clicking OK, the values get mapped from the ActionReasonsVO to the ActionReasonsActionReasonUsagesVO.
    Now when I toggle between the rows in my master table, I observe 2 types of behaviors
    1.Due to incorrect refresh, the child table rows vanishes from the UI.
    2.There are duplicate rows in the child table.
    The issue is specific to this scenario where the refresh of the child table rows does not happen correctly.

  • Duplicate Entry in Child Tables in AD Process Form on triggering multipleAP

    hi all,
    I have a scenarion in which I have to provision AD Group Membership, for addition of each role to User.
    so I have created 5 Access policies, 5 roles and mapped AD Group in each access policy.
    The roles are comming from trusted source seperated by a string tokenizer.
    I have java code which will trigger and assign the role memberhsip to user, one after the other. iterating with the string tokenizer(;)
    The problem I see is, I see multiple entries of AD Groups in the process form for each group.
    If I add 3 roles to the user, I am seeing 6 entries in the AD Process form. Duplicate row for each and every row. sometimes i see 3 entries for each row. and 1 entry for each row.
    If I add the role memberships manually, by searching, then I dont see any problem with the AD child form.
    and also If I add a single group membership I dont see any problem with the AD Child form.
    I suspect that the event handler tcEvaluateAccessPolicies which is there in the post update is trying to add the duplicate entries as still the AD Group membership which is triggered for the first time is not yet finished by evaluating the access policies again.
    any such experiences? thoughts? work arounds?
    my oim environment is OIM11.1.1.3.0 on weblogic server.

    I have always coded these checks into my custom code whenever i maninuplate child table data. When adding, i always check the existing and when deleting, i always check if the value exists that i'm removing. I would suggest you write a piece of code that does the same and keep it in your library of re-usable code.
    You could try going to the database and making the field for the name a unique field. I don't know what the outcome will be from doing so.

  • Hiding Child table form

    Guys ,
    I have a requirement where in user fill in data in the parent form and then i need to populate the child table data and add it automatically , w/o making it visible to end user .
    Are there any workarounds for this ?
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

    You can have a task run on the create, or off of a form field update trigger to manipulate data in the child table. If the user has access to the tables though, you can set their writes to the child table to not have rights to to the child table. I don't know if you can truely hide it, but you should be able to set the read/update/delete privelegs for that user group.

  • Set unique entries in child tables?

    Hi,
    OIM 11g here. I have built a process form with its attached child table for a custom connector i have made. Now i noticed that the child table accepts duplicate entries. How can i make the child table entries unique, as they are in the AD user groups child table?
    thx in advance.

  • UDO doesn't show child table contents

    Hi everyone:
       I have a big trouble: I have a UDO form with a master table and 1 child table. When I save data in this form, everything is OK, but when I browse in the records, I just got data from master table.
       I should show child table data in a matrix. All the field of the matrix are correctly bounded. I think that it may be caused by a reference lost, but I've seen another XML Files and i didn't find the problem.
       Can anyone help me please?
       Thanks in advance.

    Hi Misael,
    If the matrix is correctly bound, the data should save and display correctly.
    Questions: Is the child data saved in the child table?
    The quickest solution (although it might seem tedious) is to look at example : C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\UDO\MealOrder.
    This example works perfectly.
    Convert it to use your fields and you should see where you should alter it to get your code working.

  • OIM child tables

    Hi Guys
    A quick question about OIM child tables. I need to send the child table data in a mail whenever a record is inserted or deleted in the child table. This is same as sending notification on addition or removal of an target resource role.
    I want to know that how I can access the child table record that has been deleted (using OIM API).
    When a record is added, I am able to get the information from the table data as a new records was updated in the table.

    The easiest way would be to just have a task that is kicked off as a result of the add or remove in the child form task.

  • Tbale Data Not picked from Child Table while configuring Database Adapter

    Hi,
    we are experiencing problem while picking multiple records from child table while polling from the database.
    details are, lets say we have one Parent table "Student (Id ,College) and one Child Table (Id,Book,Author)
    Id is Primary key in Student Table and Foregin in Child Table.Lets say data in tables are
    Student Table :196263,"Y.M.C.A"
    Child Table :196263,"English","Gill"
    196263 ,"Maths","Nagpal"
    Now what should be done while polling 1 record should be picked from student table and 2 diferent records from Child Table ..for the above given scenario...
    (I have used 1:M Relationship).
    But What is happening that from Child Table only first record got picked up 2 times..and record from Student Tablle was being picked correctly.....but in the ideal
    Cab anybody help me how to resolve this issues....

    Hi Gurus,
    I am facing similar kind of issue i.e. after polling on header table (Logical Delete), the header records are updated correctly.
    But the problem starts in child table. From Child Table only first record is getting picked up 2 times (if 2 rows are there for that particular header id).
    Kindly help.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

  • How do I include/show data from a child table in a Modal Window?

    How do I show data from a child table in a Modal Window?
    I have an application where each customer might have multiple addresses and phone numbers which are stored in child tables.  When I show the customer in a record on a screen I can place a Modal Window button on the screen which can be pushed at runtime
    to display detail information for the particular customer parent table which works great. However, I would also like to display the data from the address and phone number child tables. Is there a way to do that?  Or can I just launch a hole separate screen
    which would automatically display the needed data for the particular customer? If yes, how?
    Thank you for any help.

    I am not even sure how to describe my situation in such a way that this forum incident would be of benefit to other people as I think it is fairly unconventional.
    The “add contactaddress” link does not show up on the right.
    The contactaddress table is a child of the contact table.
    The contact table is a child of the contactlink table.
    And the contactlink table is a child of the person table.
    I have it set up this way because the contact in the contact table may be a contact to multiple persons in the person table and I do not want to re-enter the contact info every time the contact is used.
    In the list detail screen of the person table I can see the contactlink child collection so that I can see the name of the person in the contact table at runtime. However, the contactaddress collection is not related to the person table so it does not show
    up on the right hand side of the design screen as an “add contactaddress”; nor is there “add contact” link.
    What I would like to happen during runtime is that it is not necessary to switch screens from the person list detail screen to a contact list detail screen to see the addresses and phone numbers for the contact.
     Is my setup unnecessarily convoluted? Is there a better way? Please see the two snapshots below.
    Perhaps there is a way to call up a Detail screen from the List Detail at runtime?
    Anyway, if you are still reading, thank you very much for your help.

  • Update column data to Upper Case in parent and child table

    Hi ,
    I am facing issue while updating column value to upper case in parent table and child table. How can i do that ?
    when updating parent row:
    ORA-02292: integrity constraint (XXXXXXXXXXXXXX_FK) violated - child record found
    When updatng corresponding child row:
    ORA-02291: integrity constraint (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_FK) violated - parent key not found
    how can i update on both the places ?
    Regards,

    I am facing issue while updating column value to upper case in parent table and child table. How can i do that ?
    Why do you need to do that?
    That is just ONE of several questions you should answer before you start modifying your data.
    1. What is your 4 digit Oracle version? (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION)
    2. If both values are the same case what difference does it make what that case is?hen you don't need to alter your original data.
    3. What is the source of the column values you are using now? If you change your data to upper case it will no longer be identical to the source data.
    4. What is your plan for enforcing future values to be stored in UPPER case? Are you going to use a trigger? Have you written and tested such a trigger to see if it will even work the way you expect?
    5. Why aren't you using a surrogate key instead of a 'business' data item? You have just demonstrated one reason why surrogate keys can be useful: their actual value is NOT important.
    You should reexamine your problem and architecture and consider other alternatives.
    One alternative is to add a new 'surrogate key' column to use as the primary key. Just create a new sequence and use a trigger to populate the new column. Your current plans will require a trigger to perform the case conversion so instead of the just use the trigger to provide the value.
    If the change is being done to facilitate searching you could just add a VIRTUAL column UPPER_MY_COLUMN and index that instead. Then you could search on that new virtual column and the data values would still be identical to the original data source.

  • How to delete parent table data even though it has child records

    hi all,
    How to delete parent table data even though it has child records.
    ex: delete from pa_request cascade constraints;
    But this command is not working .

    ex: delete from pa_request cascade constraints;cascade constraints is DROP table option. It can't be used with DELETE. You need to delete child rows first or drop foreign keys and recreate them with ON DELETE CASCADE. Then:
    delete from pa_request will automatically delete child rows. However, personally I don't like ON DELETE CASCADE. You can, by mistake, delete half of your database without even realizing it.
