Computer stolen, authorized a new computer, unable to open ebooks
I would really appreciate your help.My computer got stolen, so I am burrowing my daughter's computer untill I buy a new one.
In the meanhtime I wanted to read my ebooks bought from Millsand Boon. I authorized the computer I am now using but the following message pops up :
Error getting license
License server communication problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER
So I uninstalled the adobe as instructed and reinstalled twice and each time the adobe gives me the message that the computer is authorized but still the same message pops up whenever I try to download my ebooks.
What can I do??
Uninstalling and reinstalling won't do any good. When an ebook is
downloaded, a small tag file is appended to it containing information about
when it was downloaded and to what devices. This information is used when
the ebook is opened to check against the current computer. If they do not
match, you'll get the error you have.
I'm not sure you want to do anything about this until you get a replacement
computer that will be yours. At that time, after you set it up and download
ADE, contact the ebook seller, explain your tale of woe, then ask them to
let you download another copy.
In the meantime, I understand your frustration. There's not much else you
can do.

I read your post on the HP Support Forums about you not having sound while trying to listen to Audiobooks from Scribd.com. I do have a couple of suggestions for you to try for troubleshooting. But I also have some questions for you. Have you tried to do any updates lately?Did this happen after you had done any updates by chance?Does the sound work on everything else for example in YouTube?When you go down to the speaker icon on your taskbar, while the Audiobook is playing, if you click on that icon, is there another option there specifically for the Audiobook? Here is a document for you called HP Notebook PCs - No Sound from Speakers (Windows 10, 8). In this document it gives you instructions on how to use the Troubleshooting tool. The other suggestion I have is to do either a System Restore or System Refresh. This document from Microsoft will show you how to perform both actions. Since you had mentioned that this problem started a week ago, maybe restoring to an earlier point (1.5 weeks ago) will also revert the cause to the sound. If not than a System Refresh usually puts everything back to the way it should be. Please follow these provided troubleshooting steps, re-post and let me know how everything went. That was no use at all. I am not trying to transfer it from one PC to another. I am trying to read it on the machine on which it was downloaded, and failing.
Incidentally, the library gives the option 'Read in Browser'. That works. Downloading it does not. -

Hi. My new computer had Acrobat on it. Suddenly, I was unable to open any PDF's. and then I tried to update and was forwarded to the Adobe site that said I had to buy a monthly subscription. I do not have the physical box with a serial number and was going to buy the one advertised on the website until I discovered it's only for students and teachers, which I am not. After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one, When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine. It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? How do I retrieve my iTunes library from a broken computer onto another computer?? I've clicked on home sharing and also authorized the new computer to my account but still nothing!
It would help if you would describe what a 'broken' computer is. Did a truck run over it? Does it just not turn on? etc.

I have "authorized" my new computer in itunes to play and sync old itunes library. However, not all songs can be played due to a continuing authority problem. Apparently, these old songs are associated with a old user apply id--and old--no longer accessible email address. What can I do to associate music (which I paid for) on an old outdated apple id to my current apple id? Thank you!
Copy it from the other computer or from your backup copy of your other computer.

I had to change to a new Apple MacBook Pro. I deauthorized my old computer, authorized the new one and the only media that shows up are items with a cloud. Everything that was downloaded from a cd, including personal movie files, are missing. It's as if my former library is gone. How can I find it again? Or is this just Apples way of screwing with me?
No. Firewire and Ethernet are not the same. Ethernet would be used to connect the computers to your network. A Firewire cable is used to connect the computers directly. They are different ports.

Can somebody please help me. I am trying to recover my aunts audio books that she has purchased. I have authorized her new computer and registered her new ipod. There is no option for audio books under purchased and itunes is telling me there are no available downloads. She has purchased several audio books in the last two years.
thank-you! yeah, i cant see going to 64. as it stood sound quality was dodgy. good on some stuff, great on others, and terrible on a few. i have some great news...my ipod is not showing up in itunes. again. i give up. it has music on it. its full to the tippy top. i fooled around with some of the things the trouble shooter wizard thing suggested last night for hours. didnt fix it. after awhile i was just going in circles. i will just live with the thing the way it is. but i will say one thing; after reading some of the posted issues other folks are having i'm just glad i didnt put everything in the cloud....peace

My old computer that ran on Mavericks was stolen and my new computer runs on Yosemite. I don't like the new iMovie (10) on the Yosemite version. Is there any way to get the old version (9) back?

Brand new Mac Book Pro
Purchased in Mexico's Department store Liverpool on June 20th 2012
Purchased Memory upgade to 8Gb, on june 27th, at Apple Store Memorial City, Houston
Upgraded memory from 4Gb to 8Gb on June 28th.
Tried to write on my external HD (previously written on a windows based PC) with no success.
Upon reccomendation from a Mac assistant, copied all my external HD contents into my Mac Hard drive.
Then formatted my external HD and copied back all my information to it.
deleted all the information from my MacBook Pro HD.
Attempted to repeat the same operation with another external HD, but got a message saying there was not enough epace on the computer HD (even though I have a 750Gb Hard Drive.
Looked in the trash bin and there it was, all the information previously deleted..
Could not empty the trash bin, although I got a message asking me to safely delete all the information from the trash bin,
Could not get enough space released, after several attpempts the trash bin was finally emptied.
All happy getting acquainted with my new MacBook Pro. Two days later, got a gray screen and not able to start the computer.
Looking in to Mac support I found article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570 and followed instructions to perform a safe boot:
