Connecting exchange to hp eprint

I am unable to connect my work outlook account to eprint on my ipad. When i go to add email account. I can enter my email address, domain, password and hostname. There is no place to enter my username that is required for my serve to accept. Please advise as to what i can do. it would be great when i am working from home to be able to print email attachments from my work email. please advise

@mike029
All you should need is your email address, domain, password and hostname to connect your exchange account and print your emails and attachments using the HP ePrint app.
Couple of questions:
1. Is your exchange account currently connected on your mobile device? If not, please connect it using the instuctions from your company. Than re-try connecting via the app.
2. In your message, you state "if would be great to email attachements from my work email," could you clarify this statement? What are you trying to do? Maybe you could walk me through a scenerio so I can better understand what you are trying to print
Thanks!

  • Is it supported to connect Exchange 2013 Mailbox using Exchange 2010 CAS in Co-existence?

    Hi Team,
I am in the phase of upgrading Exchange 2010 to 2013, and introduced 4 MBX and 2 CAS of 2013 servers in co-existence.
Only one production mailbox of 2010 moved to 2013. The owa of the mailbox moved to 2013, is working OK internally coz only internally configured, but when I configure outlook using 2010 settings, it got configured but when I open outlook it doesn't
open and throws an error of some "cannot open set of folders".
Is it supported to connect Exchange 2013 Mailbox using Exchange 2010 CAS in Co-existence? because I havnt configured 2013 CAS servers yet.
Kindly share some KB or tip. Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

I'll change Adam's wording slightly - you *MUST* install a CAS 13 server into every site where there is a MBX 13 server.

  • Receive email delay one hour using Mac Mail client (Mountain Lion) connect Exchange Server 2010

    Hi all,
My boss use iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air (Mac Mail client), MacPro (Mac Mail client) connect Exchange Serve 2010 to receive emails. All clients are okay except MacBook Air, the Mac Mail client cannot receive the latest emails from Exchange Server, but it can receive (sync) the emails after one hour. The other clients can receive the latest email after Exchange Server receive new emails immediately.
In this period, the MacBook Air can receive the other IMAP, POP3 and webmail from ISP normally. I tried to set 5 mins to check emails or manual check email from Exchange Server. However, the latest email still delay one hour.......... .
I dumped a screenshot for Mac Mail setting for Exchange Server and a Log file.
could anyone help me to solve this issue?
    Thanks

I am not sure what the user has the check for new messages set for but mail does arrive as short as 2 minutes.  It does however arrive on his iphone immediately first.

  • How to connect smart phone to eprint

How do I connect and print from my android phone

You can actually access any supported file that is saved on your device from within the home and biz app itself. Simply go to photos or documents when the app opens. If it is a photo simply browse through the photos until you see the one you want to print out. If it is a document filetype you are looking for go to files after choosing documents, and this will show all supported files on the device without having to use the share function.
The app can also print over the local network without registering the app, and can print to most legacy printers that are networked but do not posess eprint functionality.
If you have any issues getting this set up or using the app, post back and ill see if i can help you out.

  • 11 pm modem mysteriously dialing, connecting, exchanging data

I've been trying to figure out why my PowerBook has been waking up at 11pm, dialing, making network connection and exchanging data with a remote server. I suspect that it's looking for a software update but have no assurance that it's not something more sinister. Is there an easy way to check for auto update settings?
I opened the modem connection log and found the following:
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:19 2005 : Version 2.0
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:19 2005 : Dialing without tone
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:19 2005 : Dialing 503-584-9935
Mon Nov 28 21:00:47 2005 : Modem Reliable Link Established.
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:47 2005 : Modem Compression Established.
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:50 2005 : Serial connection established.
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:50 2005 : Using interface ppp0
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:50 2005 : Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/cu.modem
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:52 2005 : local IP address 67.2.58.212
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:52 2005 : remote IP address 67.2.0.22
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:52 2005 : primary DNS address 64.136.20.121
    Mon Nov 28 21:00:52 2005 : secondary DNS address 64.136.28.121
    Mon Nov 28 21:44:00 2005 : Terminating on signal 15.
    Mon Nov 28 21:44:01 2005 : Connection terminated.
    Mon Nov 28 21:44:01 2005 : Connect time 43.2 minutes.
    Mon Nov 28 21:44:01 2005 : Sent 552238 bytes, received 14153183 bytes.
    Mon Nov 28 21:44:03 2005 : Serial link disconnected.
I have a Netzero account and it is using that number for dialing in (503-584-9935.) After that it's all Greek to me.
I tried to track down the IP address (64.136.20.121) for a clue using the Network Utility software that is a part of OS X but that didn't help me. I checked System Preferences>Sharing and have everything turned off and the Firewall is on so don't understand how this could happen.
Appreciate any ideas anyone has on how to stop this and clues as to what might be causing it to happen.

    Hi Ken,
    Welcome to the discussions area.
My recommendation is to use a connection sniffer, such as Little Snitch, to determine which program is requesting the connection to the outside world.
I suspect the log details you've shown would be the same or similar when you normally create a connection ie. they're related to your ISP.

  • Outlook Connectivity / Exchange 2010 Coexistence Scenarios

    Hello,
I recently migrated to Exchange 2013, autodiscover.domain.com and mail.domain.com are pointing to CAS 2013 for external and internal access. For EX013 users, Outlook establishes connection with both CAS 2010 and CAS 2013 which is fine. For EX2010 users,
Outlook establishes the connection only with CAS 2010 for both internal and external access. My understanding is that CAS 2013 should proxy the connection to CAS 2010, but it doesn't and also after the migration I have to remove and add the profile again for
the changes to take effect for the migrated users. I haven't changed the namespaces, its the same. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
Your understadning is correct. Since only Exchange 2013 is Internet-facing, CAS2013 would proxy all requests for Exchange 2010 external user accessing.
Please make sure the External URL in Exchange 2010 services are all set to $Null and Outlook Anywhere is enabled with the external host name pointed to mail.domain.com. Then the external Exchange 2010 user would connect the Autodiscover service
with autodiscover.domain.com successfully. The other services such as EWS, OOF and OAB request would be send to Exchange 2013 then proxy to Exchange 2010.

  • Connecting Exchange 2003 to Apple Mail on Mac OS 10.5.8

Having trouble connecting apple mail to Microsoft exchange server 2003 on this Mac. Currently Entourage is in use (Office 2004) and working. Apple Support and our IT man have tried to solve it together, filling in all relevant fields of the account information. The only questionable field was "Outlook Web Access Server" which we first left blank then filled in later. This should work but does not. Resulting in mail sitting in the outbox while trying to send. Connection Doctor confirms that "Mail was unable to connect to the internet" while both the "Incoming Exchange" and "Mail Server" are trying to connect to the server. Anyone got any clues.
NB we don't have an "Outlook Web Access Server".
    Steve

owa must be enabled on Exchange server, also entourage use the same protocol (http and webdav, if entourage works OWA is yet enabled)
OWA is a feature integrated in exchange 2003.
what address you set on mail client like exchange server? is an ip address or you use a URL?
there is only one ex2003 or you have many servers in your infrastructure?

  • Connect Exchange email without active sync just as I do on Mac mail on Mac book.  Using OWA site.

I am trying to connect my exchange email to my iPhone without using active sync. I am able to connect it to the Mac mail program on my MacBook pro with out ay issues. Can this be done on the iPhone?  Please instruct.

    Hi,
I have a similar issue, just purchased Iphone4, can't get my enterprise emails because i get the typical "Unable to verify" message. My It guys (which are totally unfamiliar with Iphone because we are a blackberry-organisation ) tried to create an acoount on my iphone with no succes, afterwards they said that our email application is not compatible with iphone and that "we will upgrade it but don't know when".
After googeling (without understanding much ) i found that:
Active Sync is needed for Iphone to get emails, Active Sync works only with Microsoft Exchange SP2.
We have Microsoft Exchange 2003 RTM (6.5.6944.3) so no SP1, no SP2.
Is this the issue why we can't get it work?  If yes, is there any other way to get my emails without this ActiveSync?
(we have OWA in case this is usefull).
    Thanks a lot!

  • When trying to register for efax, my printer says it cannot connect to the internet. eprint works.

when trying to register for efax on my HP Photosmart 7515, my printer indicates it cannot connect to the internet.  The eprint works works great. The wireless network test results indicate connectivity PASS.

    Hello Stevej13,
The first thing I would do is follow step six in this document to set a static IP: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02817031&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=4023246&tmp...
When it askes for DNS information, enter in Google's DNS. Preferred DNS = 8.8.8.8 Alt DNS = 8.8.4.4
If that does not help, if you could provide me with the following information it would help me out.  First, who is your ISP( Internet Service Provider, i.e. Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, ect.)?  Second, who is the maker of your router?  Lastly, what is the model number and firmware version of your router?

  • Outlook clients cannot connect Exchange 2013 cutover from 2010

    Hello,
My company has been running an Exchange 2013/2010 coexistence. Currently, Exch 2013 (2mbx and 1 CAS) utilizes "mail2.domain.com" for the name space. Exch 2010 (1MBX 1 CAS) uses "mail.domain.com"
We recently attempted to cutover external and internal DNS to point "mail.domain.com" and "autodiscover.domain.com" to the Exch 2013 server.
We changed all virtual directories on 2013 to use "https://mail.domain.com/owa" (ECP, EWS, etc. were changed too) for the internal and external URL. The Exch 2010 virtual directories internal URL are set to "https://internalFQDN.domain.com/owa"
    the external URLs are $null
Both CAS servers were setup to use Outlook Anywhere since this is how 2013 proxies to 2010. The internal URLs for both were set to "mail.domain.com" IIS authentication Methods (Basic, NTLM). ClientAuthenicsationMethod: NTLM.
For both servers the autodiscoverserviceinternaluri was set to: https://autodiscover.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
The 2013 server has two SSL certificates installed. One is a wildcard cert for "*.domain.com" and the other includes our SANs (mail.domain.com, mail2.domain.com, webmail.domain.com, autodiscover.domain.com) it also includes the FQDN for the 2010
    and 2013 CAS servers.
I'm speaking in the past tense because we had to roll back. The problem was no Outlook user could connect. This goes for mailboxes hosted on the Exchange 2013 and 2010 servers. The error was: "Cannot
open your default e-mail folder" to "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete".
Everything else worked fine during the cutover. OWA 2013 login page proxied 2010 logins properly, Outlook 2011 could connect with EWS fine, Active-Sync worked without issues too.
It was only the Outlook 2010 and 2013 clients that could not connect.
We rolled back and everything is working as it was before with the separate namespace. That leads me to think it's something with Outlook Anywhere (RPC/HTTPS)
but the settings seem correct unless I'm missing something. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!

Hard to say. I've had to change the router to point to the old server as mail wasnt getting in. But OWA did seem ok, although I couldn't send messages... I could only see the inbox and contacts etc.

  • OfficeJet 8600 Pro Unable to Connect to Server for eprint BUT is connected to nework

Just set up my 8600 and everything connected great until I tried to connect to enable web services on the printer.  It says it is unable to connect to serve and asks if I want to enter a proxy.  I dont understand why it cannot connect to server if my printer is connect to my network??

    Hello cboucher78,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather  that you are getting an error message when you are trying enable the web services for your Officejet Pro 8600 printer.
The message you are getting is indicating that the printer cannot establish 2-way communication with the HP ePrint servers and needs some assistance.  Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers to correct this.  I have included a link to another post I did that has the steps with screen shots.

  • Cannot connect Exchange account to mail app in Mavericks

    Hi all,
I recently bought a new macbook air 13" and am trying to set up my email. I have a university email account with microsoft outlook/exchange which I used exclusively through the Office 365 web portal in a web browser for the past 3 years since I could not get it to sync with outlook on my old PC either. Now I am trying to connect that Outlook account to the Mail app on my new macbook and am getting nowhere.
I input my email address and password - not recognized, even though it works perfectly on my iphone. The server is also not recognized. I get the error message "internet accounts couldnt log in to the exchange server autodiscover-s.outlook.com". I tried adding an "other" account in mail as well using the appropriate incoming and outgoing server addresses for office 365; no dice. Password is incorrect, outlook server is offline, etc etc etc.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get my account to connect in mail. I know this has been a common problem but I was not able to find an exact solution. Please forgive any of my ignorance as this is my first Mac computer.

Peter: this is exactly what I have been doing, nothing is working. Still giving me an error that my password is wrong and it cannot reach the server.
Linc: I tried this and was able to force it through setup. When I connected to the internet, it gave me an error saying my password was wrong.
The password I am using is the one that goes along with my university email address that I use to login to the outlook web app along with my school .edu email address. Should I be using a different password for this exchange account?

  • Outlook 2010 not connecting exchange server

We have Exchange server on remote site. we have installed win7 SP1 and office 2010 SP2 and updated the system as well. but
outlook 2010 is always "asking password" or it shows "trying to connect" in status bar and then it got disconnect.  i have tryied configured  NTLM authentication, https proxy settings everything i have tryied as mentioned in
blogs but it doesn't worked out to me but outlook is working fine in other system with same settings and H/W and S/W.  can any one kindly help me on this

    Hi,
You can first use Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test if you can connect to the Exchange server:
    https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/
We may need to repair the Outlook profile to fix the problem:
In Outlook, click the arrow next to Account Settings on the
File tab, and then click Account Settings.
In the Account Settings dialog box, select your account on the
E-mail tab, and then click Repair. Follow the instructions in the repair wizard.
When the repair is finished, restart Outlook.
As you mentioned, Outlook always asks for password. If the issue persists, check this setting:
Go to File tab -> Info -> Account Settings -> Account Settings…
Highlight your Exchange account and click Change button.
    Click on More Settings button.
    Select the Security tab.
Under the User Identification, make sure the “Always prompt for logon credentials” option is not selected.
Outlook may continuously asks for password due to the corrupted credentials, we can try the following steps as well:
Go to Control Panel, and then click Credential Manager.
Note If View by is set to Category, click User Accounts first, and then click Credential Manager.
Locate the set of credentials that has Outlook in the name.
Click the name to expand the set of credentials, and then click Remove from Vault.
Repeat step 3 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Outlook in the name.
I hope the information is helpful.
