Consignment Scenario- Customer replenishment

Hello ,
We currently have DP and PPDS implemented in our system , we are planning to have consignment scenario implemented where the customer sends in the forecast to APO DP .
1) How would the process be if we do not want to implement SNP,Deployment , TLB . Can we still go ahead and implement it . How would the process be . The help document says that once the TLB shipment is sent to ECC an Consignment order is created , but in our case we do not want to implement  SNP , Deployement , TLB can we still be able to do it .
Regards,
Nick .

Our requirement is to do consignment scenario , that is replenish the customer warehouse consignment stock .
The standard Consignment process as listed in help document is we receive the forecast , run SNP , deployment and tlb . Then transfer the TLB shipments to ECC which create Sales orders .
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/en/5c/3f9df8bbc34413809579fc5d18414e/content.htm
Q1) Is there a way we can achieve this scenario without implementing Deployment and TLB .
Regards,
Nick

  • Special Consignment scenario ??????????????

    Hello All
I am working with Consignment scenario
The customer has a scenario that when I am creating a consignment fill up order to a customer when they want to issue the consignment they are putting a different customer so the system is not issuing the consignment goods, so can I create the consignment issue order with reference to a consignment fill up order and change the customer so the system will issue the goods to the new customer and withdraw it from the consignment stock of the first customer
    Regards
    Jacopo François

    Dear Jacopo Francois
As you would be aware, the login behind to adopt consignment fillup and issue process is that we transfer the stock from unrestricted to special stock which is nothing but, that particular stock is earmarked for a particular sold to party.  This being the standard, why you want to change the customer in the issue order stage which is not at all recommended.
    thanks

    Hi Sharad,
Each application has its own functionalities and tools associated with it.  Based on my evaluation,  SNC is a tool more towards interactive in nature which involves client involvement.  whereas other tools like APO, SPP, F & R are best planning tools which helps industries to carry out short term and long term planning.

  • Thirdparty processing with Consignment scenario

    hello,
i am stuck up with a strange scenario, i hope somebody will help me out.
    the scenario goes like this.
the OEM require comes and a Sales order has to be created then for that requirement a PO has to be created to Vendor for supply of the material as consignment to OEM. whenever the OEM removes the material from the consignment he will inform us then the billing will tkaes place and invoicing also.
for this we have created the a virtual plant for tracking the inventory whenever the goods is recieved by the OEM as consignment we will post the same into VB01.
but my question is how to create a consignment PO for an order to be delivered at the OEM. can anybody help me out.
    Regards
    Vikram

    Hello Vikrama,
Unfortunately, in R/3 standard there is no way to support your
business scenario in a 'one-step' transaction.
When we deal with consignment fill-up orders in R/3 it is not an
external vendor providing the delivery to the customer but an internal
    supplying plant.
We handle this in a way that a stock transfer from our own stock (free
available or any other) is done to the customer consignment stock.
In your required scenario (direct delivery from an external vendor to
customer consignment) there is the step missing when we post the
    material to our own stock.
SAP has created note 751385 which describes the required scenario as
    missing functionality.
The only way you can handle this in R/3 is - as you have already
mentioned before - to receive the material into an own location and
    then transfer to customer's consignment.
    for example:
    1) creation of consignment fill-up order for customer
    2) creation of purchase order to external vendor with customer's
address as delivery address -> direct delivery to the customer
    3) post goods receipt with reference to the PO and create delivery
with reference to the fill-up order
    4) post goods issue for the fill-up delivery
    hope it helps,

  • Cross-Company consignment to customer

I'm an MM guy but this has landed on my plate.
    Requirement:
Sales Org A (Company Code A, Plant A not-HUM managed) is the customer facing one.  They receive the consignment request.
The stock is held at Plant B (Plant B is HUM managed, 'owned' by Company Code B, Sales Org. B)
    Currently:
    SO1 create on SOrg A
SOrg A create STO to get ownership of stock on Plant B (this is manual, no link to SO1)
The stock is actually shipped direct to end customer and Bill generated (covers VAT/Intrastat reporting etc.)
Std subsequent process on notification by customer of consumption.
The issue is that the customers PO reference and material numbers (from SO1 and CMIR of SOrg A) are not shown on the Delivery paperwork (out of Plant B).  Customer requires these, plus packing info. i.e. HU info.
Seeing as SD has all the bells and whistles compared to MM, is there a better way this can be handled in SD ?  Crucial factors in a solution are:
    1.  Getting the both the HU and customer reference data on the Delivery/Packing Note (ex Plant B)
    2.  The stock ending up as consigment stock owned by Plant A
    3.  Linked to 2. a sale of stock from company B to Company A  i.e. transfer of ownership, with Billing, for reporting purposes.
Strong answers and not speculative ones please i.e. things that you know will work or get very close to a complete solution.
Currently I have a complex BADI in mind for the Delivery processing but I'd like to avoid that if possible.  Thanks in advance for taking the time . . .

    Hi Bea,
Please check that intercomapy billing type is assigned to sales document type, in below path.
IMG > S&D> billing --> Define order type for Intercompany billing
Check in delivery header , processing tab "IntcoBill" field, it shows that transaction is relavant for intercompany billing.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Consignment Scenario

    Dear Experts,
We have the consignment business scenario below:
    1. Supplier sends the materials to our location
    2. Every Monday we count all the remaining materials to determine actual consumption.
    3. We report the materials used to supplier with a PO.
In SAP, what we would like to happen is:
    1. Receive the stocks to vendor location consignment via 501K without reference to PO.
    2. Only during consumption, we generate the PO that will be used for invoicing/billing for payment to supplier.
How can we setup the SAP step 2 above?  Company likes to issue the PO only at the time when we know the actual consumption only and not during the receipt of the consignment stocks.
    Thank you!

Please follow the standard SAP vendor consignment process. In it you'll see that payment is not done at goods receipt, but ather exactly uppon consumption.

  • Consignment Stock Automatic Replenishment

    Dear SAP Gurus,
We are doing Consignment business with a customer . We use both Fill up and Consignment Issue processes.
I have a unique  requirement where we need to maintain minimum stock level at Customer Location . That is whenever Consigment issue happens and the stocks goes below the minimum level at customer site , then we  want the SAP system to generate automatic 'Consignment Fill up'  to maintain the required stock level .
Is it possible  in standard SAP R/3 System ECC 5.0
    Thanks
    Tom

    Hi Tom
If you want to maintain a minimum stock level at customers location then on regular basis consignment fillup should take place. So you should be knowing how much stock should be there at consignement place. So when you create a consignment Issue , make the consignement issue delivery dates different dates with some quantities. Then that stock can be filled up at consignee place
    Say for example
    Consignment Issue --- 100pcs
    Consignment Fillup -
    1st delivery  date 05/01/2009--->50pcs
                                       1st delivery date 10/01/2009--->50pcs
Again on 01/09/2009 you will be doing Consignment Issue for 100pcs. Then again the stock will be reserved
In this way once the consignment issue is done then before that delivery date , you have to create Consignment Issue for some quantity

  • B2C scenario customer specific discount when customer login to the B2C site

    Hi E-Commerce gurus,
We want to implement a customer specific discount scenario when the customer login to the B2C web site afterwards that easily see the customer specific discount as soon as duration of the login process. We have also succeed sales org-material     scenario that according to our given below function module calculates a discount rate covers all the material within the related sales organization and also shows the indicator of discount rate on the every material pictures at the web site.
Moreover we have configured an access sequence for condition ZB2I(discount condition) that related with Sales Org.-Customer then we replicate the CNACRMPRCUS666 condition table from ECC to CRM with all values but we can not calculate and display the discount rate on the web site when the customer log on the site and/or going to the basket.
Is there any available BADI, BAPI on ABAP and JAVA Stack. How can we display the spesific customer discount rate when the customer log on the site and/or going to the basket?

    Hi,
As per my knowledge if you want to implement customer specific discount then you should use ISA B2B instead of ISA B2C. ISA B2B gives you this facility which you want to implement on B2C.
Also How you will distinguish User in B2C to display specific prise. Your discount price is based on Sales Org or base on user?
As your ABAP program is working fine but you are not getting it on web site then you have to write custom java code and collect all the required information on ISA side then pass it to RFC's import parameter and get the result back and display result on ISA B2C.

  • SD New Scenario- customer free supplied material

    Hi Experts,
my client requirement is : Customer raise the sales order for one product, for that product customer is going to supply one specific spare part to co. with free of cost.
co. will use that part in making of finished product. So in this case what are the possibilities to deliver the finished product.
how to map from sales order to Invoice.
please help me to map the scenario.
    Regards
    Madhu

    Hi,
I faced a smilar scenario some while back but the solution was not based in SD. It was based in MM and PP.
My solution is different from the previous one because if I understood correctly, the customer sends products to you. You don't send anything to the customer. If I am right, then you cannot use subcontrating process.
This was how we solved it:
-> Material Type - you need a material type non valuated to map this product. You can use a standard one but I would use a Z one so that I am free to adapt it in the future. Please use a separate number range so that you can distinguish easiliy the materials from the customer from your own materials.
-> You will map the deliver of your customer materials through a purchase order where your vendor is your customer. You need a new Account Assignment Category that is not relevant for billing. That is, one where pricing is not relevant and where the system does not expect to receive an invoice for it.
-> you need to set up the BOM's so that your customer material is used in production of your finished product. As the material type is non valuated there will not be any costs regarding this product when you produce it.
-> you sell your finished product to the customer with a normal sales order (OR). Probably because one of the components belong to your customer, the price will be lower.
    Hope it helps. Regards,

  • Error in Master Data Out-of-the-box Scenario Customer

    Hi Experts,
I set up a normal out of the box scenario of master data that is supposed to sincronize just Customers, but when I create a supplier It also creates it in my subsidiary company.
I read the documentation Config_Guide_SAP_Business_One_Master_Data_Distribution_EN.pdf and it´s clear when it said that this scenario is only for Customers. Even in the appendix the card type it´s supposed to be mapped with the fix value cCustomer.
I checked the xsl file and the cardtype is also mapped as it comes from the sender so I do not understand exactly what it does.
I continued with my testing and when trying to update any field in a supplier an error appears.
So, if it´s only for customers why does it create the suppliers?
and if suppliers are also sincronized why cannot update any field?
    Thanks in advance,
    David

    Hi experts,
I found the field that caused the error when updating suppliers. This field is
    <OtherReceivablePayable>
    <xsl:value-of select="BO/BusinessPartners/row/OtherReceivablePayable"/>
    </OtherReceivablePayable>
If this field is not mapped the scenario works ok for suppliers also.
I do not understand why in the documentation this scenario is supposed to be just for customers because is for all IC.
I suppose is an error but if someone could confirm it would be perfect.
    Thanks anyway,
    David

  • Make to order scenario-customer requirement

    hi,
here we are having one scenario that client is having MTO process, where HALB level components can exchanged from one sales order to another.here costs of HALB material used in the FERT production order is not picked  as the typical functionality of MTO is like that diff. levels of components will be procured for sales orderwise.
    kindly suggest a solution
    thanks
    murali krishna.r.n

    hi reddy,
our client is using MTO process, where they will exchange halb materials for the fert level production order. i.e according to MTO sales order will trigger procurement seperately at all levels of bom( as sales order stock). what is happening at the client side is they are converting plnd orders to production orders generated in the stock requirement list for HALBS, as thier wish they want to use these  randomly for fert production,
    costs differences are arising.....
    so kindly suggest a solution

  • Consignment stock, make to order scenario

    Hi
We have a material which produce make to stock and make to order also.
In case of make to stock its fine. But when we are testing make to order then following is system behavour.
    Action     Mvt Type     Accounting Document
    GR     101     No Accounting Document
Consignment     631     Finish Inventory     Dr      at Standard Price
                        Consignment Inventory Change (VKA)     Cr
PGI     633     COGS     Dr      at Standard Price
                        Finish Inventory     Cr
My question is why not accounting document is generated at the time of GR 101 in case of make to order scenario.

    Hi
MTO has 3 scenarios in it. (I think you either fall in Scenario 1 or 2)
    1. Where the Qty of Prod order is tagged to sales order upon GR from prod order....
The valuation in this case happens at the std cost (CK11N).... Every thiing remains same as in MTS... You get variance as well
    2. Where Qty & Value both are tagged to the sales order (Sales order is Cost Object & Stock is Valuated stock)
This is not recommended by SAP and should be chosen only in rare cases...
This scenario pertains to Complex MTO, means totally manufactured based on customer demand.. Like Cars, Boeing Air Crafts, etc
Sale order is a cost object...
Sales order cost estimate is done when sales order is created...
GR is valuated at sales order cost estimate... Variances are calculated based on this cost and actual cost incurred..
PGI and Revenue post to the sales order because SO is the CO object
Finally Sales order is settled to COPA
    3. Where Qty & Value both are tagged to the sales order (Sales order is Cost Object & Stock is Non Valuated stock)
    This is recommended by SAP
This scenario pertains to Complex MTO, means totally manufactured based on customer demand.. Like Cars, Boeing Air Crafts, etc
Sale order is a cost object...
Sales order cost estimate can be done when sales order is created...
GR is Non valuated... No Variances are calculated because GR is non valuated
Production Order settles upon sales order.. hence, actual cost goes to sales order...
PGI does not generate accounting doc because stock is Non Valuated
Revenue post to the sales order because SO is the CO object
Finally Sales order is settled to COPA
These are the 3 possible scenarios in MTO... There might be a slight variation in Consignment scenario.... I am nt sure if the "No Accounting doc" situation at GR is OK or not
