Contract with different plant specific freight conditions

Contract with Vendor ABC has 5 line items
Line item 1 & 2 for plant 123
Line item 3 is for plant 345
Line item 1,2,4 & 5 for plant 567
For plant 123, the Carrier is ASDF Trucking Co and the charges are $500 per trip.
For plant 345, no freight
For plant 567, the carrier is LKJH Trucking Co and the charges are $700 per trip.
When we create a PO with reference to the above contract for plant 123 for Line item 1 alone, the freight should be $500 per trip.
When we create a PO with reference to the above contract for plant 123 for Line item 2 alone, the freight should be $500 per trip.
When we create a PO with reference to the above contract for plant 123 for Line items 1& 2 the freight should be $500 per trip.
When we create a PO with reference to the above contract for plant 567 for Line items 1& 2 the freight should be $700 per trip.
How to create such a contract? Do i need to do some config to freight condtion types (pricing procedure)?

Hi
You can create this with std configuration itself.
While creating the Contract, please don't give Plant at the item overview.Just enter the line items and Quantities.
<b>You can maintian the plant specific condition for each line items.</b>
1.When maintaining the centrally agreed contract, choose Edit -> Plant conditions -> Overview.
2.On the overview screen that then appears, enter the desired plant and choose  Plant prices.
3.An item overview screen appears, starting from which you can maintain conditions.
4.Choose Item -> Conditions to access the condition maintenance screen.
Return to the overview and repeat the process for all plants for which you wish to store plant-specific conditions.Save your input.

  • Contracts with different Currencies

Hi SAP experts,is it possible  to create a Contract with different currencies in line items for a vendor???.Thank you for any advice.

No, the currency is a header field (EKKO-WAERS).
It is possible to enter conditions with a different currency, but this will then be converted into the "PO currency"

  • More contracts (with different suppliers) for one item

    Dear MDM Experts,
is it possible to make more contracts (with different suppliers) for one item?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ádá

    Hi,
Thanks for your answer. If I set my shopping cart for a contract with a supplier A, and I select an item with a supplier B, then after pushing button Transport to SRM on the shopping cart webdynpro UI, I would get the an error message, and the item wouldn't come to the SRM.
If the item doesn't have any supplier, and I make a contract with it, the supplier of the contract goes to the item, and after that I can't make a contract with an other supplier for this item, because of the uppers.
The type of field Supplier in table Catalog Items is Lookup field, and it can't be modified.
Could you please write to me which can I set our system to be able to make contracts with many suppliers?

  • Link contract with another PO line item condition

    Hi
Need some solution for the following issue:
Explanation of the issue: First the contract is created for the freight and insurance for vendor say V1. Then the PO is created for the material for vendor V2. In the PO line item the freight and insurance is specified in different condition types. When specifying the cost for the freight and insurance they want to link it with the contract that was created with vendor V1. Is it possible to link the contract for freight and insurance with the PO line item cost?

  • Advice with Incomplete procedure for Freight Condition re.Certain incoterms

    Hi
I need some advice on how to create an Incomplete procedure for a specfic freight accrual.
BUT i only require it to be incomplete for certain Incoterms ........
For example i have not entered freight condition record, and the customers incoterm is CIF, - i wish for this sales order to be flagged as incomplete
However for a different sales order I have not entered a freight condition record, and the customers' incoterm is EXW, - I wish for this order to be clased as OK and Complete, as a Freight accrual is not required against EXW incoterm orders
Has anyone come across this problem before ? - if so how have they rectified this ?
Any help/ advice would be much appreciated
    Tony

    Hi,
You can just write a routine with the help of abaper in VOFM.
And assign that routine in requirement field in the pricing procedure for that condition type.
To create a new routine in VOFM please go through the belo wlink.

Hope this will resolve your issue.

  • Numbers point to a cell with different formatting to create conditional format

Hi all, not sure if this has been brought up but my search efforts haven't found anything. I know conditional formatting is not supported in IOS numbers but I saw a buddy do a little trick a while ago and I've been trying to replicate it. On his iPad, he created a numbers spreadsheet that had a logic function (=if). And if that function was true it pointed to another cell with different formatting. The result was, the cell would become the same format as the cell it was pointing too. This created the effect of a conditional format in a sense. I can get this to work with limited effect, only if the cell is a "text" cell and not a formula. As well the background colour doesn't get picked up, only the format of the cell text itself. I'm trying to get in touch with him for help but in the mean time does anyone have any experience in this kind of method?
    Cheers

    As an example:
If A > B, then A-B, otherwise make it equal this other cell (D1 for example)
    {=if(a1>b1,a1-b1,d1)}
And in that d1 cell I would make another formula that also does the same subtraction (a1-b1) however knowing it will be a negative number this time, I paint the cell bright red and hopefully the original cell will then look the same since it is now equal to this one.
Unfortunately it looks like this wont work. The closest thing to doing this trick I have found is pointing to a cell formatted as text, such as a blank cell. Then the original cell takes on the formatting characteristics of the text cell.  The problem is the text cell is useless since it can't do any sort of math. I can't even set the cell to simply equal another one and format it as text only. So far it looks like the only conditional type of trickery I can do is make the numbers disappear by pointing to a blank text cell.
I hope that helps describe it a little better.

  • Service order operations with different plants

    Hi,
We would like to use different plants in our operations for service. This works fine but at certain operations we have set components (with backflush). While processing the service order these components receive the service order planning plant where it should be the plant mentioned in the operation.
The reason why we would like to use different plants is because the material that has to be repaired will pass through those different plants. (or should we just create multiple service orders ?)
    Example :
Task list created in plant 001 :
    Operation A plant 001 with component Y
    Operation B plant 002 with component Z
The service order is created in planning plant 001 and when you go to the component tab, the plants of component y and z are set to plant 001 where it should be component Y --> plant 001 and component Z --> plant 002.
Is setting the plant for components equal to the planning plant, standard behaviour ? (can't find anything to change this)
Do i have to achieve this with a user exit ?
    with regards

  • Make-to-Order with Different Plant

    Hi Experts,
I'd like to know how to implement business scenario of make-to-order but delivering plant (in Sales Order) is different with manufacturing plant (in Process Order). My client has material locking problem (huge batch records) so that my client wants to create new plant for delivering plant in order to minimize material locking problem. Is this scenario possible?
I have set parameter 'Share Lock' but it does not work to solve material locking problem. Batch level is set in material level.
Hope anyone can give me tricks or experience.

    Hi,
In OID2 -> In Application area O , For same order type assign different shop papers ..,
After doing config in OID2 , In Application area O , these shop papers wil be be avaialble for assigning to planning plant, planner group in OID3 .. , here assign each of these shop papers to different planning plant ..,
Now in IW32 system checks combination of order type to planning plant and defaults shop papers while printing ..
Note :-  Here , If a particular shop paper is not assigned to an order type in OID2 , then u cannot default in printing via IW32 .for that order type and any planning plant ..

  • BOM line item with different plant than header item.

    Hi friends,
Can we have different plants for BOM child items?
For example,BOM is created for plant 1000 with 5 sub items. when sales order is created BOM expodes with 5 sub items with plant 1000 because BOM is maintained for plant 1000.
do we make any settings that line item should pick other than plant 1000?
Please let me know is it possible in standard SAP? if not, how can we acheive it?
Thanks in advance for your solution.
    Regards,
    Ravinder

    Ravinder Reddy ,
    Scenario 1:
I have tried this scenario, I am having one header material (plant 1000). I have created one sub material 1100001 of plant (1000) and another material 340771 (Plant 2000) and i have assigned Item Category = N then i entered qty for ist item =1
it is throwing an error. "Material 340771 not maintained in plant 2000." at sub item level
    Scenario 2:
In another scenario, if  I am having one header material (plant 2000). I have created one sub material 1100001 of plant (1000) and another material 340771 (Plant 2000) and i have assigned Item Category = N then i entered qty for ist item =1
It is throwing an error "Material 1100001 not maintained in plant 2000."  at hedaer level
Scenario 3: I have extended the materials for both the plants
Here i am entering the material header material 12345 (plant 2000). I have created one sub material 1100001 of plant (1000) and another material 340771 (Plant 2000) and i have assigned Item Category = N then i entered qty for ist item =1
    It is picking up...
Material has to be extended to the plants that you are using let it be at sub item level or header level. Material has to be extended.

  • Sales of service materials from one SO or Contract with different durations

    Dear Gurus,
I have to make a sales process for some service materials. Yet I could not decided whether I should go for sales order or contract. If contract then which one will be the suitable for my requirement?
    Requirement is like,
for example I have a college courses as materials. so student purchased a course for 6 months from the middle of a month say from 16th of Jan and going to continue upto 15 July so I want the Jan invoice for amount of 16 days only. then the invoice of february for 28 days amount only later the 3 invoices for 30 and 31 days month with respective amount and the last invoice in july month will be for 15 month with the completion of the amount of 15 days only. hence the system should distribute the amount per days of the month from the start to end of the course duration.
in the same order/contract i have a second course for same student where sale of a course for 1 year where he has to pay quarterly so the 4 invoices with with respective amount bifurcation are required.
the third material with the 100% advance payment.and only one invoice on the same day of the purchase of course.
can we do this scenario with single sales document?
If yes what shall I go for? which Sales order or contract ?
I think whether we go for sales order or contract we have to maintain different item categories for these three different requirements. which item categories will suit for these requirement?
Can we have such different item categories in one document where some item categories have billing plan and some of them are without the billing plan?
Gurus I am trying hard to get the solution for this problem and expecting your useful suggestion for the same.
    Please reply. Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Sanjay

    Hi Sanjai
Go for Rental contract (slaes document type is MV , item cat is MVN) and do the billing plan is periodic billing
if u want to do  billing  in day wise, week wise, fortnight, monthy, quarterly, halferly ,yearly to customer , u have to do the following setting go to  SPRO go to sd-salesdocuments-contracts-contract data-define rules for determining dates
there u have to determine rule table for determine dates
    I Think u r problem will solve

  • Different vendors in freight condition type error in MIRO

    Hi,
We are using different vendor in condition type for import purchase order as given.
    Ordering Vendor - 800000
Custom Vendor - 900000 in condition type
Freight Vendor - 700000 in condition type
While i am doing Goods Receipt, In the Freight tab only ordering and freight vendor is showing. And at the time of MIRO all three vendor are showing for selection.
Question: So is there any restriction for condition type. And if i change vendor at condition type after MIGO what will be effect on MIRO.
We are using GR Base Invoice verification.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello Venki,
While doing Customs MIRO, please select from the drop down as 'planned delivery cost' option.  Once you select this, then you can find your customs vendor flowing from PO.
    Hope this helps.

  • Backend purchase contract with no plant assigned to it

    Hi,
We are implementing SRM 5.0 in a classic scenario deployment and we going to create backend purchase contracts directly from bids, that is, no Global Outline Agreements are involved.
The thing is we would like to create a backend contract that could be consumed by more than one plant, that is, we cannot have a specific plant assigned to that contract.
Is it a possible scenario to be implemented?
    Best Regards,
    Emilia

    Hello Emilia,
If you create a R/3 contract from a BID, linked to a BID INVITATION created from a SC, you might get the plant from the SC item.
Else, plant data (partner Location) is not mandatory in RFQ (at both header and item level).
So you could have to delete it in your RFQ (if created from a SC), or use the BADI BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE to change sent data:
Here you can delete plant data, so your R/3 contract is valid for all plants.

  • Posting to Different Profit Centers with different g/l s, condition wise

    Dear Experts,
I am fasing a posting issue in contract.
I have different conditions in contract, and depends on the condition, flow type ,A/c symbol , I have different g/l for each condition.
At Contract level (General Data screen) I am giving one profit Centre(XXX).while posting , all the conditions are hitting at the same profit centre(XXX) only, instead of hitting the relevant profit centers which are mentioned at Condition G/l level.
Some times it is hitting at the correct G/L, but profit center showing the same one(XXX) which mentioned at header level.
My requiremnt is to hit the corresponding profit centers & G/L s only.
Please help me to fix this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Eswar

    Hi Deepak,
thank you for your explanation. But did you really manage to get 2 different profit centers in one contract at the same time?
I checked it in my system. It is possible, of course, to change the profit center, but this change is then valid for all conditions of the contract.
    - The profit center is changeable only in the standard term for organisational assignment.
    - If an additional organisational term is created the profit center field is greyed out.
    - When the profit center is changed in the standard organisational assignment term this affects all conditions.
This is the actual standard behaviour.
    Example:
    Create a new contract:
organizational assignment standard: profit center A
organizational assignment 10 (deviating): profit center B    <<< should never be possible, because the field profit center is greyed out
I am wondering how you managed to get his though and waiting for your remarks.
    Regards, Franz
