COOMKS01 - SAP Cost Center table modification
I have been reading up on customizing the cost center table to add additional fields via this enhancement COOMKS01. Does anybody have any documentation showing how to complete the enhancement from start to finish, including adding the fields onto the screen KS01, KS02, KS03...

In the enhancement COOMKS01go to the fumction module exit and place the cursor on the functionmodule exit and goto---> Smaple Code and also go for Documentation..

The account assignment, Product category and Logical system combination is maintained in SPRO.
SPRO > IMG > SRM > SRM Server > Cross Application Basic settings > Account Assignment
There are three settings which you maintain there :
1. Account assignment categories
2. Define G/L account for product category , Logical system and Account assignment category
3. Maintain local accounting data.
These are the three settings which you maintain for account assignment determination.

SAP - Cost Center Planning - Version 1
Dear All
Recently we have started to use the cost center planning through KP16 under plan version -1
However we are unable to down the plan data in excel with a cost center break up through KSBP report.
We are not using any special ledger
System is showing the following error
No plan cost line items recorded.
Message no. KB419
Diagnosis
No planned costs line items are written to controlling area DXES in version 1 of fiscal year 2009.
System Response
The report cannot be executed.
Procedure
Check your selection criteria or activate the line item update function.
Note
The line item update function is controlled depending on the application:
Cost center planning
Here you can define the update for each version and fiscal year. You can maintain the corresponding indicator (integrated planning) in the version maintenance (settings for the fiscal year).
This indicator you can either
set manually when creating a version or
set later via the menu sequence "Planning -> Planning aids -> Integration active".

The impact is that the planning is stored also as line items and the planning is integrated between the CO-PCA components. In SAP words:
- All available plan records for controlling area/version/fiscal year are posted as line items. The R/3 System posts these line items to the AC interface.
- Any existing line items in the plan allocation transactions (plan assesment, distribution, or accrual calculation) are posted to the AC interface as well and made available to other components.

WE have FICO and HR modules on different Boxes. We use BD16 to ALE CostCenters from Finance to HR BOX.
Is there a Trasansaction code where we can ALE 100 Costcenters at one time. BD16 allows only one costcenter right nowHi Rahul,
Use BD16 itself and in selection screen give all 100 cost centers. This process will create 100 Idocs and transferting them to inbound processing in inbound will be come simple scenario.

record
This enhancement includes the following enhancement components:

CO-OM customer exit for PBO of customer-specific subscreen "0399" in
SAPLKMA1.
o EXIT_SAPLKMA1_002
CO-OM customer exit for PAI of customer-specific subscreen "0399" in
SAPLKMA1.

Cost Center not appearing in Hierarchy

I am sending an IDoc from an external system into ERP to create new cost centers. The IDoc comes in successfully and creates the cost center and I can see that it was correctly assigned to the cost center area if I look at the record in KS03. However, when I look at the cost center hierarchy it does not show that the cost center has been assigned to the correct node.
Any clue why this may be happening?Hi,
When sending cost center data with COSMAS01 this will include the hierarchy node in the cost center master data (separate field in cost center table CSKS). So only the information of the cost center node is transported. However, COSMAS does not include the hierarchy itself.
This is a separate IDoc type, namely COGRP1 which is not transported with IDoc type COSMAS01.
Nevertheless, the hierarchy can then be rebuilt in the target system by running RKCORRH1. This report will read the cost center´s master data and insert this cost center into the specified node of the standard hierarchy.
This is actually a regular procedure - if you do not want to run the report you may also need to send the hierarchy with IDoc type COGRP1 separately.

displays Actual cost & plan cost against cost elements.
the requirement is to display the values against Alternative account number(SKB1-ALTKT).
this report has been generated through painter,
is there any characteristic value for alternative account number?
is there any variable or set ID , that i can use while creating the row against cost element.
if we have to create a variable or SET ID, and assign it, how to achieve this?

SAP Table to get Cost Center Acct Line Items based on Cost Element

My question is pretty straight forward.
Is there a way to get cost center document line items efficiently by just using the Cost Element(most specifically), Period, Posting Date, and Fiscal Year (Cost Center would help too)? I ask this because other tables I am asking are quite slow. So basically im trying to look for the the BSIS/BSAS equivalent for cost center accounting.

Cost center (KOSTL) is not updating in HR master table for infotype 0001
Hi ABAP gurus,
We have one interface where we are posting the HR master data using the IDOC (IDOC_INPUT_HRMD) into SAP.
While updating cost center, We have one issue regarding infotype 0001.
It is working fine for all the fields except: KOSTL, ORGEH, STELL. Surprisingly the created IDOC contains the value in these fields but it is not getting updated in master table PA0001. I have tryied inserting the value manually and it is working fine and tried with BDC Programming and no issues. Only we have this issue while we want to use the IDOC. This is mandatory in our interface.
While debugging the IDOC function module I found that one condition is there for these three fields.
CHECK NOT inte IS INITIAL. where inte value is being fetched from table t77s0 based on
GRPID = PLOGI
SEMID = ORGA
In this condition I see no value for this combination and hence it is not getting further. I am not sure how this condition does exist for only these three fields and not for others.
Can any please provide the reasona and solution for this.

Try assigning your cost center to position it will default both your org unit and cost center.

Hi,
I would like to retrive the data from the table COEP ,based on KOKRS,BELNR fields.
I need the output for Cost centre, cost element, wbs element,net work ,activity.
These values are storing OBJNR ,OBJNAR_1,OBJNR_2,OBJNR_N3.
But here always these field are not giving the correct values.
for example : for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_1 field,
for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_2 field,
for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_3 field.
Here SAP has used a generic approach for this.
How can I dispaly the values in this case ?
