Correspondence - Dispute Letter

Hello Gurus,
We are using Dispute Letter "Correspondence: Query to Customer" where in I have created a smart form and configured it in the action profile.
Now I know that when a user selects the correspondence, the letter will be either be mailed or faxed.
So I need to know where do we configure this information so that whenever a user selects the letter (either through email or fax) to be sent out to the customer.
Is there a standard BTE out there or are there any SMTP settings that I need to do or am I missing any configuration.
Please advice and suggest..
Thanks,
Kumar

Mark,
I know we could send dunning letters from worklist in EHP5 but we are EHP4, but my question is how will the system pick up the email/fax of the customer unless these values are configured some where in SAP.
So I need to know are there any BTE's or SMTP setting that needs to be done so that the dipsute letter is sent out to the customers email/fax when the user select the correspondence from dispute management.
Thanks,
Kumar.

    Hi Guys,
I Get this error "No preview avaialable for this action"
So we are trying to set up a dispute letter through smartform with the action profile "Correspondence: Query to Customer", before executing the action there is small button which gives the preview of the letter before it is sent out, but whenever I click on it gives me the above error.
Now I tried going back to the original default letter given by SAP and configured it now even that doesn't seem to work and gives me the same error.
I have done all the configuration needed on the action profile,  Processing using report and the display in toolbox.
After much hits and trials I seem to rely on you guys for some suggestion.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

Don't worry guys, I got it to work.
    Cheers,
    Kumar

  • Direct Dispute letter feedback needed!

So I drafted my very first DD letter to Calvary Portfolio. They are reporting a wrong DOFD. My last payment to the OC was 10/2008 and they're reporting a DOFD of 6/2009. I've already contacted the OC and they no longer have any information of my account except the charge off date and the CA. The OC took a REALLY long time (12 months!) to charge off the account and I think the CA just made up their own DOFD by counting back 6 months from the CO date. Please let me know what you think!  MY NAMEMY ADDRESS Calvary Portfolio Services

EQ reports (if direct from them or annualcreditreport.com) will show the actual DoFD as reported by them. That DoFD should have been provided to the CA along with the other account information. Legally the collector must use the OC's DoFD, if they can determine what it was. A report showing it would be adequate proof.

  • ISU: PWB PDF letter is not clubbing in one PDF.

    Hi Expert,
We have requirement like 'everyday batch job(FPCOPARA) will run for correspondence PDF letter and will produce consolidated PDF file per correspondence letter type.
For e.g: If there are 10 different Occpuant letters then after executing the batch job, one PDF will be create which will contain 10 pages.
Our functionality is working as expected but it is creating different PDFs under same Spool no. When we checked in SP01, it looks 1 PDF having multiple pages but system is creating one spool with 10 different (Documents) PDF files by considering above example.
For e.g: It is showing in SP01, spool no xxxx. having 10 pages but after opening the PDF it shows 1 of 10 documents and each documents show only one page. PDF should say Page 1 of 10.
I thought it is related to Printer so I had discussion with our Basis team but it seems the issue is related to FPCOPARA or PWB form (EFRM) setting. Somewhere we have say to batch job that, consider these all documents as single PDF. But still there is no success yet.
I can send detail analysis if required.
    Quick help is appreciable.

    Hi,
I think this is Adobe PDF forms you use to create the spool with the PDF parts.
There is a solution if you print via SAPPDFPRNT(see SAP note #1444342). You must use the latest SAPPDFPRNT and the latest SAPGUI 7.20 patch(patch level 5). After installing the patches you must define a printer with port FILE on your desktop. If you print the spool request on that printer via frontend printing SAPPDFPRINT sticks the bunch of PDF together to a single PDF and stores it at a location of choice.

The Correspondence function lets you output notifications for the various activities and
transactions that arise in Training and Event Management.
    Features
_ You can output notifications in Training and Event Management either automatically or
    manually.
You must first carry out the step Assign Notification Abbreviations and Activities [Ext.] in
Customizing for Training and Event Management.
Forms that serve as templates for the documents you want to output are assigned to the
    notification abbreviations.
_ You can set up automatic output of notifications to a predefined output device or medium for
certain activities in Training and Event Management.
The output media available include printer, e-mail, fax and telex. If you do not specify an
output medium, there is no automatic output.
_ From the recipient list, you can access a print preview of the notification you want to output
    (for manual output).
_ You can call the manual output function in the dynamic Attendance Menu under Attendance
    _ Correspondence
When you use the manual output function, you have the additional option of downloading
documents into MS Word Form Letter.

_ Output to any medium, for example, printer or Internet mail.
If you select a medium for manual output, you override the standard settings made in
Customizing for Training and Event Management under Define Attendee Type
    Specific Output Control [Ext.].

The notification is output to the selected output medium.
    Correspondence History
    Use
The Correspondence History function records the individual items of correspondence output for
activities in Training and Event Management.
If you set output to automatic, you can use the history function monitor document output.
For example, you can use the history function to report on what documents have been sent to
attendees in a given time period or if and when an attendee received definite confirmation of
registration, a cancellation notification and so on.
    Features
You can request reports with the correspondence history functions from four different
    perspectives:
_ From the perspective of the event type
If you enter a business event type, all documents that have been output in connection
with the business event type, such as prebooking notifications, are listed.
_ From the perspective of the event
If you enter a business event, all documents that have been output in connection with the
business event, such as confirmations of registration, are listed.
_ From the perspective of the output agent
If you enter an output agent, the report lists all documents that have been output
manually or automatically by the agent in question. For example, if a booking operation
triggered automatic output of notification to the recipients, these notifications are listed.
_ From the perspective of the recipient
If you enter a recipient, the report lists all documents that have been output to the
    recipient you enter.
Within the various views, you can select data to narrow down the report's output:
    _ Document recipients
_ Booking priority: you can request a report on all of the notifications output to waiting list
    attendees, for example.
_ Selection period: you can specify a time period yourself or select a predefined one.
_ Output status: you can select from the following statuses:
    _ No output
    _ Errors during output
    _ Output triggered
    _ Output successful
    _ Activity (logical function code).
You can start the correspondence history function from the Attendance menu. There,
you can select a business event type, an event date, or an attendee. By doing so,
you select the data for the report.
    Activities
    1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, in the SAP Standard Menu choose Human Resources _
Training and Events _ Correspondence _ History. The Correspondence History selection
    screen appears.
    2. You specify the perspective from which you want reporting carried out: event type, event,
    output agent, or recipient.
    3. You enter a document recipient if required.
    4. You can specify the attendee group by selecting a booking priority.
    5. You can specify the reporting period for the correspondence history.
    6. You can select one or multiple output statuses.
    7. You can specify a particular activity by selecting a function code from the list displayed.
    8. Choose Execute.
The system outputs a correspondence history based on the selection criteria you specified.

  • Need HELP disputing credit reports I'm stuck & Nervous

Hi Guys,I'm working on my husband's and my credit.  I'm drafting a dispute letter found on the MY Fico site and well, I'm a bit nervous!   I'm hoping to get all the collections removed because of errors and the misrepresentation of reporting as Factoring companies and they are in fact Junk Debt Collectors! Debt was purchased after the charge off happened!
I could use a bit of help with what I've found.  I'm stuck on how to dispute or if it's worth the time to do so.  Thanks for any help. One Collections is with Calvary (has 1 Cap One account) because the DOFD is wrong and the last time they updated on his report was in May 2015.  I don't really want to get them to report again! LOL  The other Collector PRA has 2 Cap One accounts and doesn't include a DOFD!  Also I noticed on the Cap One charge offs they have the last DOFD wrong on all 3! Last Payment made 12/15/2011 on payment history box it's Jan 2012 OK Feb 2012 30days late. 2 other CAP ONE Accounts have the Last Payment on 6/28/2012 and in payment history box it's July 2012 OK Augst 2012 30days late,
Plus for Fingerhut, the Date of last payment is July 12, 2012 and in pay history it has 9/12/12 OK 30 day late October 2012 then Nov and Dec with N/R and Jan 2013 120 days late then FEB N/R then Charge off in March 2013.

    Try this:
    1.Turn the Playbook
    2. On your PC, open the BlackBerry Desktop Software
    3. Use the USB cable, connect the BlackBerry to your PC
    4. A message will appear saying BlackBerry Desktop Software can't connect to your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. When this appears, click "Update". ◦ Please note that this notice will disappear when the tablet starts PlayBook completely. If this occurs, turn off the playbook and repeat the above steps
    5. Enter your email address or uncheck the "Yes, send me an email when updates are available."

  • Where is the changed Job Offer Letter stored?

I am changing the text of Smartform for Job Offer in portal. Once the text is added i am able to send the new version of Job Offer to email. But my requirement is to get the new Job Offer Letter and store it in an archiving system
I am not sure if the new Smartforms gets stored somewhere SAP database tables. If it does how do i get it?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Even i am not very sure where exactly it gets stored. but i can give u a direction to check out classes
starting with cl_hrrcf_* and ending with bl i.e. cl_hrrcf_*_bl in tcode se24.
Here you will find some classes related to activities where you will be able to retreive the letters.
Also go to infotype 5136 i.e. in se11 check hrp5136 and see if there are any entries
In this infotype, the following data is stored for an activity of the Simple Correspondence category:
    ●      Activity Type
    ●      Global Key for Activities
    ●      Activity Status
    ●      Due Date
    ●      Type of Related Object (user who created the activity)
    ●      ID of Related Object (user who created the activity)
    ●      Note for Activity (points to a text in the document storage for HR objects)
    ●      Activity Category (Simple Correspondence)
    ●      Completion Date (date on which the activity was completed)
    ●      User Name (user who executed the activity)
    ●      Process (to which the activity for the Simple Correspondence category is assigned)
    ●      Subarea of SAP E-Recruiting (Recruitment)
    ●      Object ID of Talent Group
    ●      Time Stamp of Last Change
    ●      Form (indicates the form used as the template for the correspondence)
    ●      Individual Letter for the activity (points to a text in the document storage for HR objects)
    ●      Individual letter section for the activity (points to a text in the document storage for HR objects)
see the entry which i have made it bold if this helps. HR_KW is the document storage object used for HR and HR_CONT is the content repository, this letter will sit somewhere in the application server of the E-rec system.

  • HOW TO: From BK7 discharge to 700 in 24 months or less!

The logic behind it is for recon purposes. IME, the CSRs are slammed Monday from all the apps/problems over the weekend and sometimes that bleeds over in to Tuesday morning. If you app Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday, you have a better chance of getting someone live on the phone Weds/Thurs if you need them. Moreover, Mondays and Fridays are the most likely days for supervisors/csrs to "take off" due to illness/vacation/whatever. So Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (Wednesday in particular) would have a higher likelihood of a fully staffed call center.
Basically, it boils down to not having to wait for the recon if you need it. That's it, nothing too special.
    Cheers,
    -SM
(Note: NFCU is different, they recon all weekend, but their recon is them calling you if you aren't immediately approved.)

If you're going to follow THIS guide, please DO NOT get a SECURED/STORE card.  This guide is designed with patience in mind, and pays off over time.  Every single person (there have been hundreds) who has followed this plan to the letter has a 700ish score INSIDE 24 months.  Most people who take it upon themselves to "cheat" or do one of those-"but I thought it would help"-things wind up stuck with low scores, low limits or worse.  This guide works, just be patient and give it a chance. UPDATE: On 7/15-ish I adjusted this guide to remove the Orchard Bank References... they were out of date now that HSBC no longer offers the Orchard Card.  - Now that I'm using CreditOne in it's place, there may be confusion between CreditOne and CapitalOne.  Please read carefully so you don't accidentally make a mistake.  - Cheers!  -SM Hey all, I wrote this for a friend who went through a BK recently... it outlines the steps I took.... I'm @ 18 months post BK in 3 days and expect that when my Zero + 9% balances report this month I'll be somewhere between 675 and 685, roughly 15pts away from my 700 goal with 6 months to go. Any how, it's written as "you" and for someone living in NV (OneNevada CU reference), but this method really does work quite well:  ETA: Posters note:  I am sure there are other ways to do this, and differing opinions about secured cards, balances, etc.  I'm not saying that this is the ONLY way to rebuild after BK7, what I'm saying is that this plan WORKS. ********************** Steps to rebuild after BK - Goal: 700 FICO 24 months or less after BK. Pre-Step 1.  Sign up for a Scorewatch subscription from MyFico.com so you can track your progress (http://www.myfico.com/Products/Products.aspx) It's the middle one, and is $14.95/mo.  Do NOT pull your second SCORE POWER report until month 6.  Set this up on your debit card until you get your Orchard Card (see below).  Note: The score analyzer on MyFico doesn't seem to work if you have a BK, but it's fun to play with.  You can pull a fresh, full score power every 6 months if you like. If you want, once you have Score Power, you could check your FICO on your TU report as well, but don't monitor it, just pull it once. There are NO other sites that you can pay for that will give you a true FICO score.  They all sell FAKOs and are even more worthless than FICOs. Fixing your credit report (in other words, making sure that all IIB accounts report as IIB): 1. Pull a copy of your 3 credit reports from www.annualcreditreport.com.2. Run through with a pen and make sure that ALL accounts that were included in bankruptcy are noted as:a. Zero Balanceb. Included in Bankruptcyc. Current (not "default/derogatory" status"3. For any accounts that do not meet all of the criteria in #2, file a dispute "Included in Bankruptcy" and "Incorrect Balance"note: Disputes need to be done with ALL 3 Credit Reporting Agencies(CRA), see far below on how to do this. Include a copy of your discharge letter once you have it. You can include multiple inaccuracies in the same letter, but if you do that, make it a list/spreadsheet rather than paragraph format.  Mail the 3 letters to each CRA (addresses below) CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED (CMRRR).4. Once you get your receipts back, wait about 30 days for the results.  For anything that wasn't updated to the correct info, get the creditor info from your report and mail a letter to them, including ONLY the account for that creditor.  Send this letter CMRRR as well. Example:5.a At the same time, send a "Method of Verification" letter to the CRA, including a copy of the result sheet they mailed you, with the questionable accounts highlighted.  Example: http://www.gimmelaw.com/legal-form-credit-repair-method-of-verification-demand6. Wait 30 days from the day you get the receipt.7.  At this point the bad stuff should all be pretty much gone (or reporting correctly), even if it's not, it's probably best to just leave it alone.  Rebuilding/Reestablishing credit (some of this is at the same time you're doing the stuff above): 1.  15 days after you get your CMRRR receipts back from step 3, above, apply for a CreditOne card.a. http://www.creditonecards.com/pre-qualification.php
    b. You do NOT want a SECURED version of this card.  If that's all they'll offer you, decline it, wait a couple months and try again.  Alot of people might tell you that secured cards are OK, but they aren't.  From the evidence I've seen, it's more difficult to swtich from a secured card to an unsecured than it is to go from a bad bank (like Credit One or First Premier) to a better unsecured.  Worst case scenario, get a secured card from a Credit Union/Bank that you are 100% CERTAIN will graduate to an usecured version in 12 months. 2.   The DAY AFTER you receive and activate your Credit One Card, go to a OneNevada Credit Union branch and open a $1000/1year CREDIT BUILDER loan (if you do not already have a savings/checking with them, you'll need to open one of those, too. (www.onenevada.org) - (If you do not live in Nevada, find a different credit union/bank that offers a Credit Builder-type product). 3.  Use your CreditOne Card for <10% of it's balance/month and Pay In Full(PIF) as soon as you get the bill.a. In other words, if your limit is $300, do NOT charge more than $29/month on the card. EVER.b. If there is an activation/processing charge, that's you're first month's purchase.c. PIF the day you get the bill, not the day it's due.d. An easy way to do this is to set up your MyFICO Scorewatch subscription to use your Credit One bank card instead of your debit card. 4. 5 months after activating the card from Step 1, get a Capital One card.a. https://www.capitalone.com/ - This link will take you to the pre-qualifier, which is a good place to start.  Say you have average credit.b.  Get the QuicksilverOne Rewards card for Average Credit (it has a $39 AF)c. Capital one will enroll you in the Credit Steps program on this card, watch for the letter, it's an auto CLI @ 5 or 6 months. 5.  Change your purchasing patterns:a. Charge $1 or so on the CreditOne Card every month and PIF when the bill cuts (just to keep it reporting)b. If you did step 3.d, change the MyFico auto-bill to your new CapitalOne card.c.  Charge up to 30% of the limit of your Cap1 card and PIF every month when the bill cuts. 6.  When you get your Credit Steps Credit Line Increase (CLI):a. That month DO NOT use your CreditOne Cardb.  Pay your Cap1 card down to a $10 balance BEFORE the statement cuts. (you can do this online, make sure you leave $10 on your card… it's important.) 7.  11 Months after opening your CreditOne Card (6 Months after opening the CapitalOne card, after you get your CLI):a. If you did NOT burn Discover Card in your BK, Apply for a DiscoverIT card (www.discover.com), take whatever counter-offer they give you. (www.discovercard.com)b. If you DID burn Discover, Do step 10 right now, then move to step 8. Or, instead of applying for a DiscoverIT, app for the Walmart Discover, which is issued by GE Money Bank. (http://www.walmart.com/cp/Credit-Cards/632402) 8.  When your CreditOne Card has a Zero Balance (and is reporting that way), it's time to cancel the card.  You should have had it for 11 months by now.  Cancel it immediately before the end of month 12 to avoid the annual fee. 9. It should now be 12 months after you got your Credit Builder loan, which means it's over.  Put the cash in savings and go back to OneNevada(or wherever you got it).  If they will let you get a $1000-$2000 UNSECURED 2 year loan, do that.  If not, get a new Credit Builder loan, this time $2000 and 2 years.10.  2 months after you get your Discover:a. Apply for a Barclays Apple Financing Visa (don't worry, you don't have to buy anything Apple when you get it).b.  http://store.apple.com/us/instant_credit  You should now have the following cards in your wallet and be about 12-13 mo out of your BK:1. Capital One (7 months old)2. Discover (2 months old)3. Barclays Visa (Brand New) If you've done everything right, your FICO should be between 650 and 680. It should also be time to pull your reports from www.annualcreditreport.com again.  Look for / dispute anything inaccurate. Use your credit cards sparingly over the next 6 months, charging small things on them and paying in full each month.  Do NOT exceed 30% of your total available credit at any time.  For example… if you need to charge $900 for something, and you have 3 cards that each have a $1000 limit.  Pay off all your cards, put the $900 on one of them, and don't use the other two that month. Always PIF the day the statement cuts, never charge anything that you couldn't just pay cash for. To maximize your score, Pay 2 cards to ZERO, BEFORE their statements cut and pay the third card down to <10% of your total available credit BEFORE it's statement cuts.  This forces 2 cards to REPORT zero balances, and the third to REPORT a small balance, which is the optimal credit formula. Once you've had your Barclays for 6 months (and not a DAY sooner!) you may apply for additional credit if you like.  If you are eligible to be a member of Navy Federal Credit Union, join them and app for the nRewards Visa + NavCheck (Overdraft Line of Credit).  If not, you might want to ask OneNevada (Or your credit union) if you Q for one of their cards with the BK on your record, or you could get a Walmart Discover or something… There are several cards / loans to choose from at this point, pick one you like. Note: Chase / AMEX / Citi will NOT approve you with a BK reporting, don't even bother.  Also, you might want to avoid anyone you included in your BK for a couple more years. Please note, you do not HAVE to apply for anything.  The cards from Discover and Barclays will grow with you over time, so instead of applying for anything, you might want to call Discover (which you've now had for 8 months) and ask them for a Credit Limit increase.  You can do the same with Barclays too, since it's 6 months old now.  You may notice inquiries on your credit reports when you ask for CLIs, but these aren't bad since you have limited your inquiries for the last 18 months. (you may see a slight score dip, but it will come back in 3-6 months). Don't apply for anything else for the next 6 months… just let time do it's thing. In FEB 2012 pull your reports from annualcreditreport.com again, look for/dispute any inaccuracies. In April of 2014, it will be 2 years after your BK discharge.  If you pay down all your balances but one BEFORE the statements cut, and pay that one down to <10% of your TOTAL available credit BEFORE the statement cuts, you'll have an optimized credit score.  It should be 700 or so, plus or minus 15 points. Keep using credit wisely and your score will only go up from where you are.  As a note, I have $3550 of available credit.  I use my Discover card to buy gas, have a couple of auto-payments going to my C1 and my Barclays, and NEVER carry a balance.  I pay cash/debit for everything else.  Also, I normally pay my cards to zero BEFORE the statement cuts, so they report no balances.  NOTE: Always apply for credit on a Tuesday or Wednesday around noon.  If you are DECLINED, immediately call for Reconsideration: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Backdoor-Numbers/td-p/408066  The dispute process:Helping YourselfStep 1: Tell the consumer reporting company, in writing, what information you think is inaccurate. Include copies (NOT originals) of any documents that support your position. In addition to providing your complete name and address, your letter should identify each item in your report you dispute; state the facts and the reasons you dispute the information, and ask that it be removed or corrected. You may want to enclose a copy of your report, and circle the items in question. Send your letter by certified mail, “return receipt requested,” so you can document that the consumer reporting company received it. Keep copies of your dispute letter and enclosures.
Your letter may look something like the one below.Dispute Sample Letter:http://www.creditinfocenter.com/forms/sampleletter5.shtmlConsumer reporting companies must investigate the items you question within 30 days — unless they consider your dispute frivolous. They also must forward all the relevant data you provide about the inaccuracy to the organization that provided the information. After the information provider receives notice of a dispute from the consumer reporting company, it is required to investigate, review the relevant information, and report the results back to the consumer reporting company. If this investigation reveals that the disputed information is inaccurate, the information provider has to notify the nationwide consumer reporting companies so they can correct it in your file. When the investigation is complete, the consumer reporting company must give you the results in writing, too, and a free copy of your report if the dispute results in a change. If an item is changed or deleted, the consumer reporting company is not permitted to put the disputed information back in your file unless the information provider verifies that it is accurate and complete. The consumer reporting company also must send you written notice that includes the name, address, and phone number of the information provider. If you ask, the consumer reporting company must send notices of any correction to anyone who received your report in the past six months. You also can ask that a corrected copy of your report be sent to anyone who received a copy during the past two years for employment purposes. If an investigation doesn’t resolve your dispute with the consumer reporting company, you can ask that a statement of the dispute be included in your file and in future reports. You also can ask the consumer reporting company to provide your statement to anyone who received a copy of your report in the recent past. You can expect to pay for this service.Step 2: Tell the creditor or other information provider, in writing, that you dispute an item. Be sure to include copies (NOT originals) of documents that support your position. Many providers specify an address for disputes. If the provider reports the item to a consumer reporting company, it must include a notice of your dispute. And if you are correct — that is, if the information is found to be inaccurate — the information provider may not report it again. EquifaxP.O. • E-Recruitment - How do I determine what an activity does in the system?

Can anyone shed some light on how to determine information on activities? Example like 0010 Check Suitability etc. Any docs anywhere? Thanks

What an Activity does depends on how you categorize it in the IMG.  For example 0010 Check Suitability is a Simple Activity.  Here’s a brief explanation of how some of the Activity Categories work.
    Simple Activity
This is like a simple checklist.  There is no system functionality behind it.  Once the activity is done you mark it as complete.
    Qualifying Event
These are similar to Simple Activities.  There is no functionality for these activities alone, but in completing these activities, like a Job Interview, you complete fields that can be used in an invitation to the event.
    Simple Correspondence
A letter form (SmartForm) is assigned to activity types of this category.  These activity types enable letters to be sent via the Internet, to be printed by an R/3 system, or to be edited locally at the front end.
    Invitation
A letter form (SmartForm) is also assigned to activity types of this category. In addition, the activity types always refer to a qualifying event that is open for invitation.  It uses information in the Qualifying Event (time & location) to complete the invitation.  The documents can be processed in the same way as simple correspondence.
    Status Change
Activity types of this category change the status of the associated object.  You can define the new status per activity type and per object type.  Status changes also initiate Workflow
    Questionnaire
Questionnaire can be assigned to activity types in this category.  These activity types enable questionnaires to be sent to candidates using the Internet or to be included in the application wizard through a Process Template.
I found the documentation in the IMG to be quite helpful in this area.  I hope this helps.

  • Bogus Damaged Device Fee

I need someone to help me with this situation. I don't care if I need to climb the ladder at Verizon, or if someone can just lend a hand in getting this bogus charge off of my account. Below is an email I have drafted, hoping to send it to someone in Verizon Wireless, but have been unable to find anyone to get it to. I will be mailing a letter, calling, and doing one of those live chats if I have to. I'm not letting another big company walk all over the common person again. The email below explains my situation, and provides background on my issue with this Motorola Droid 4 since original purchase.
    Hello,
I have a few things to say. The first is going to be the most obvious, and that is the fact that in direct contradiction of the text contained within your email, there were and are no pictures included in your email showing damage to the phone I had returned. The next thing I will say, is that the only damage you would have found on that phone would be the minor aesthetic damage on a couple of the corners, which had nothing to do with the claims I provided to your phone representatives. The problems I had with the phone were, if my memory serves me well, as follows:
    1) It would, at times, not charge fully. This had nothing to do with me. I would put it on charge before bed, as I did just about every night, and there would be nights where it was still at 70% or so after a full night of charging. I would also like to stifle your cries to blame the charger by advising you that it was not the charger, because my wife and I swapped chargers to test that theory, and it did the same with hers, which has never given her problems.
    2) The power button on the top would very often not work unless I put down significant pressure on it. This is contrary to not only what the phone had originally done when "like new", but also to my current "like new" phone from you and my friends' and family's phones. Although just a minor inconvenience, it still belongs on the list of complaints.
    3) Quite often the phone would do this thing where something random would happen when I was in the middle of texting someone. This included, but is probably not limited to: volume change, pulling up a random number on the dialer, open another app, etc. Not only was this incredibly annoying, but also caused me to call a number or two that I did not want to.
    4) The speaker on the back of the phone was completely blown out. Much like someone playing their music too loud in a car, the speaker on the back of that phone completely blew out on me. This caused me to never be able to use speaker phone to talk to someone, since their voice would sound like the garbled noises of the people on the other end of a phone call in an old cartoon. It also affected my use of GPS and Navigation apps for my delivery job, as the lady's voice was unintelligible.
    5) Several of my apps ran like trying to play Doom 3 on a 90's computer. I'd open them, and it would be slow and laggy, making the app or game completely useless.
    6) Although again minor, a few of the buttons on the keyboard were unresponsive at times.
I'm sure I'm missing something, as I cannot remember absolutely every problem I've had with this phone. This fee that you are apparently trying to charge me is completely uncalled for. Let me tell you the experience I've had with that Chinese made pile of garbage that Motorola is trying to pass off as a cell phone. First, I got the phone in July of 2011, I believe. I was working in construction at the time. I had the R2D2 Droid before that, and had to replace it when I dropped it and the screen was completely useless. Although I had very little money, and apparently had my "upgrade bonus" taken away by some bogus charge that went along with an upgrade at the store, I got a new phone. By the way, I think it's pretty cheap and bad business to give your paying customers an upgrade opportunity and then take it away when they go to get a new phone because of some fee at the store. What a scam that is. Anyway, I chose the Motorola Droid 4 because it had the slide out keyboard, which I wanted because I still was not into the whole touch keypad thing. I had to pay more than $200 out of my pocket for this phone, if my memory serves me right. At that moment, I had to dip into funds that were not only not mine, but were also supposed to be for something special in the future. But, I needed a phone ASAP, so I spent everything I had to get this phone. Within a month of owning it, the whole thing stopped working. I brought it back to the store, they initiated a replacement, and I soon got my "like new" replacement in the mail. Now, the fact that I had just spent a ton of money on a NEW phone, and within a month had to have it replaced with a "LIKE NEW" one really angered me. However, I let it go. I figured the "like new" would be just fine. That was up until the day it went black, as if I had shut it off (only I didn't), and then it never came back on. Nothing I, nor your people at the store, could do to it would bring it back. It was the second time one of these things had just stopped working on me. Once again, we went through the motions of getting a "Like New" replacement sent to me. Once again, I held my tongue about how much I felt ripped off by again having something that was "Like New" when I paid for something that was NEW. My third and final Droid 4 lasted up until the call that has now led to this email.
Now then, what I am trying to say is that this $299 fee you are nailing me with is  >>removed<<. Pardon my language, but it is. Not only can I not afford to pay you people $300 of my hard earned money right before Thanksgiving, my daughter's very first birthday, and Christmas, but I shouldn't be paying you or China another cent of my money for this garbage phone. I know exactly what "damage" may have been on that phone, and I know for a fact that none of that aesthetic scrape damage would cause the problems I had with that third replacement. I think it was Benjamin Franklin that once said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Well here's your proof: I had multiple issues with these phones. From the time I got the thing, I've had problems, and have been paying for it ever since.
I am asking that this email be given to the highest person possible in your organization. I will be calling tomorrow, 11/7/13 as well and requesting to get as high in the chain as I can. Until I speak to someone about this, and see these pictures I was supposed to get, I will not be giving you people any more of my money. I am cancelling my currently scheduled payment to you as soon as I can. Verizon is the only wireless company I have ever had, and I had planned on keeping it that way. However, if we cannot resolve this issue, I will be discontinuing my business with you, and will make sure to make as much noise as possible with everyone I can reach physically and electronically. A ****** off customer can make a huge problem for a company if they have the determination to go as far is as needed. And trust me, I've done this before with companies, I will do it again.
I am also going to copy this email, and send it to other people within your company if I can find them. I am far beyond my limit of companies walking all over me.
    Regards,

That was a long letter. however this is what you do. Send a dispute letter certified return receipt requested to the address on you invoice and pay only the portion not in dispute. File a small claims court case for that $300 plus the cost for the filing, and the postage costs for that initial certified letter. but file the court case don't just threaten them.
This non returned or damaged in transit back to verizon is a scam, google it and cry or laugh.
Even if they provided photos verizon cannot prove the damage was done by you. Again show the court your "factual" issues not emotional issues. Verizon will contact you before court to work it out. Settle for nothing less than the amount removed from your invoice, and the filing fees and postage costs credited to your account. If not go to court. That simple.

    Good Luck

  • E-Recruiting workflow WS51900008 and WS51900005

    hi all,
in E-recruiting Workflow  like WS51900008 and WS51900005 sends emails from smartforms. it is  working fine... and in our client's mail server the standard footer which is  Notice for copy right get appended to all outgoing E-mails.So when this E-rec mail is  going in outlook  it shows 2 different overlapping screens. one is our smartfoms(i.e Mail Body) and other shows  this copy right Notice.
I want to know do i require PDF printer to solve this.. so that  smartforms goes at  attachment with that e-mail. cause i saw in debugging it fetches PDF1 devicetype and  assign it as  the  printer..So any idea  of getting this  solved...

    Hello michelle,
You can probably try a HTML view of the correspondence.
    Please check the Format maintained under channel "E-mail" in the below node;
SAP E-Recruiting--> Recruitment > Applicant tracking> Activities > Correspondence> Create letter templates > Output channels> Assign document formats to output channels.
Try changing the format from SSF_PDF to SSF_ASC or SSF_HTM
Iam not sure if this would work but should be worth giving it a try.
    Best Regards

  • NEED TO SPEAK WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE REP -- Verizon sent my bill to collections

My name is Timothy.  I would like to dispute a Verizon Wireless debt on a closed account.  The account in question was opened in July of 2011 and suspended over the phone, due to unemployment, in the year 2013. Prior to the suspension of the aforementioned account, I was current on all payments, not once having any late payments associated with the account.  I was told that suspending the account could be handled easily over the phone, however, I was uninformed at the time that the suspension of an account was only allowed for a certain amount of days before the account resumed repayment.  I received no verbal, or written communication (e.g. bills, letters, e-mails) to inform me that the account had been resumed, so a debt continued to collect with the Verizon account without my knowledge.  The phone never had service, even while I was apparently being charged, so I assumed my account was still suspended. I only became aware of this debt when I viewed my credit report through Credit Karma. Once discovering the debt, I then purchased a full credit report through all three credit bureaus and found that I have a debt to Verizon Wireless totaling $607.00 for the account in question.  I now have a derogatory mark on my credit report, due to a bill that I did not know existed. I then attempted to contact a Verizon representative in order to dispute the charges, and I was unable to reach a human representative.  I did however find the address for the Verizon Wireless NRO. I sent a my dispute letter March 30th, 2014, and have yet to hear from a representative.  Therefore, I would like to request that I be contacted about the debt to discuss my options. I would prefer to speak to a person, rather than be shuffled around electronically or on the customer service line. Please help ASAP, as this is greatly affecting my credit, and thus various aspects of my life. I know that if I post my phone number on this forum that it will be edited out, so if any representative can email me, I will gladly provide my contact information as well as my account number (which I just found today by using a loophole I found on this forum to reach a human representative on the phone by calling the main customer service line, pressing 6, and then pressing 4.) Please make this process easier for me than it has been, as I am very displeased with the customer service I have received so far. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from a representative.

Elector, I have seen you posting similar things to other posts throughout this forum. While I appreciate that you are trying to help, it seems that you did not read the entirety of my post.
I received no communication regarding this bill. Nor did the representative I spoke to about suspending the account tell me that there was a time frame for suspension. Nor was I informed that there is suspension with billing. There were absolutely no letters, no phone calls, and no emails about the charges, or about my account being sent to collections. The phone had no service, so I was unaware that it was continuing to be billed. It doesn't make much sense to be billed for a phone that I cannot use.
I do not appreciate you attempting to discredit my post (and others like it) by telling me there is absolutely nothing that can be done, when I have seen others in this forum, with the exact same problem, who have had their issues resolved. I will be persistent in finding resolution for this issue, because Verizon was not persistent in contacting me, despite the fact that I was a loyal customer who was always current on their bill until the suspension. Regardless, Verizon should have contacted me to tell me the bill was not in suspension anymore, and I would have gladly paid the bill, as I had with every bill prior to that. The issue is not non-payment, the issue is their lack of communication with their loyal customers.
People who try to invalidate customer complaints (without complete information on the matter) are the reason that Verizon can get away with negligent customer service, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it if you would only post in this forum if you have ACTUAL assistance to offer. Again, thank you for your help but I would prefer to speak to a Verizon Representative about this matter.

  • How long should I give the CA?

We faxed a dispute letter (after receiving our debt validation notice that showed it was not ours) informing them that the debt did NOT belong to us...that was on 7/8/15. Should I go ahead and file dispute with Experian?

  • Changing Password and Keychain

    Two related questions here.
    1. I am giving a Dual-USB iBook to a good friend. I will delete some software, M/S Office for example, which I cannot legally leave on the HD. I would like to just reset the Account Name, Short Name and Password, remove personal correspondence and let him have the machine.
Is it possible to reset the Account Name and Password? How?
Will that make an unholy mess of the Disk Permissions?
    2. What should I do about KeyChain? I have 84 Keychain items under LOGIN, 1 under SYSTEM and 88 under X509 Anchors.
    Darn, this is confusing.
    Many thanks,
    Bob

    Thanks trlblzr-
I was going to set up a new user account in my new DualCore G5 iMac anyway, to have it available for troubleshooting, so I went ahead and did so as a way of partially trying your suggestion.
So...went ahead and created a new account, checking the box for: Allow user to administer this computer.
With that new account still visible/highlighted in the Accounts window, I see there is a button for Reset Password.
When I am doing this for real with the G3, should I at this point indeed reset the password, then immediately hilight my old user account and hit the "minus" button just above the lock at the bottom of that window???
    Many thanks,
    Bob
