Creating billing after MIRO in third party sales

HI Gurus,
we have a senario in Third party sales senario how to restrict the user to make to delivery and billing  before the MIGO and MIRO. please help us this is urgent.

Hi Abdul Rahim,
Pleas use item category TAS (standard third party item category) and maintain the existing copy control settings for the Scedule line category. If you use TAS then we will not be able  to do the billing before MIRO is done. In VF01 it will give you Incomplete log. Further, in normal third party scenario there should not be any delivery and MIGO.It is always Order related Billing process. So please elaborate the business scenario to understand the Delivery and MIGO requirement.

    Hi,
    I guess in third party sales it will be sales order related billing.So in VF04 tick the check box of order related billing.
    Check the billing date and check if MIRO has taken place.In standard SAP before MIRO you can't do the billing for third party sale.

    Our client requirement  has been mapped as sap third party sales process .
    But if the vendor is delivering less qty .  than the qty. for which Sales ordered  has been  created, How to create the  Sales billing Doc.  according to the purchase invoice so that Sales Billing  Doc. should be created for the delivered qty. only .
    Please suggest the configuration  & how the data is flowing from the Purchase Invoice to the Sales Invoice.

    you can achieve your requirement by following
    T-Code  VTFA (copy control Order to Billing)
    use you Third party order type and billing type
    Go to Item category (if Standard use TAS)
    there is a option "BILLING QUANTITY"
    user there "E" Goods receipt quantity less invoiced quantity"

  • Billing Due List shows third party sales orders that have no SGR

    Hello,
    I've run into an issue where the billing due list (VF04) shows sales documents that have not gone through statistical goods receipt.  In our normal flow we create a sales order, which automatically creates a purchase requisition (PR).  We create a purchase order (PO) from the PR and when we generate a shipping notification (ASN) we also do a statistical goods receipt, which kicks off billing. 
    Normally items show up in the billing due list based on the billing type of the sales order item category.  In this case that indicator is B - relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity.  My understanding is that it should not show up in the billing due list until goods receipt, which is not happening for us.  We're seeing sales orders based on non-SGR'd PO's in the billing due list. 
    Also, in sales to billing copy control (vtfa) the billing quantity indicator is E - Goods receipt less invoiced quantity.
    Any ideas?  Have I provided enough info?  Thanks in advance!

    Thank you very much!  However, a setting of 'F' only seems to show line items in the Billing Due List after I create a vendor invoice.  We are not using vendor invoices for our process and I want items to show up in the Billing Due List after the GRN.  Are you saying that you think items should show up in the Billing Due List after the GRN?  I know SAP doco kind hints to that, but I did try a setting of 'F' and it does not work; the items only show up after I create a vendor invoice.
    Any other info or guidance is greatly appreciated.

  • SD:Create Billing Wrt Inbound Deliveries - third party Order

    Customer sends his Order forecast, From Interface it comes to SAP System through IDocs SO will be generated,that SO triggers purchase requistion and we have a batch job runs every hour to create purchase orders for Vendor. When the Vendor Sends goods to Customer and the same has notified to the Company, based on that we create Inbound Deliveries(VL31N) and Goods Receipt(MIGO or VL32N PGR) in our SAP System.
    We have batch jobs running every hour to create Goods Receipt for inbound deliveries and Billing due(RV60SBAT) list to generate Billing documents.This Billing is created based on the sales order quantity(Since it is Order Related Billing).Now the Customer wants billing based on the delivery quantity they received from vendor.Here we are not doing any Outbound Delivery.
    We used one Data Transfer Routine from Order to Billing in item category TAS at data VBRK/VBRP level(We copied the standard routine 003 and done modifications to get the inbound delivery no) This routine navigates from the sales document table(vbep) to the Purchase Requisition table(eban) to the Purchase Order history table (ekbe) and to the Material Document no to obtain Inbound Delivey Number
    We are successful to some extent in creation of billing document.but the problem is when there are 3 inbound deliveries for one purchase order, it is creating only one invoice for 1 of 3 inbound deliveries.but we need 3 different invoices for 3 inbound deliveries.
    For example
    Previous scenario: SO quantity is 100. Delivey quantity is say 20,30,50. Billing Quantity is 100
    Present scenario : SO quantity is 100. Delivey quantity is say 20,30,50. Billing Quantity is 20,30,50
    Customer wants billing for the quantitiies 20,30,50 not for 100

    Whats is your billing qty based on Order- GR qty? or Order - Inbound delv qty. How did you get this?.
    The problem lies because it is an order related billing.
    Try this make it a Delv related billing w/o any movement type.
    The moment you create an inbound delivery and O/P should be send which in turn will create a delivery document and PGI.(you can use this O/p type to do the dirty work)
    And after this complex process life becomes simple.

    I am MM person , executing a Cycle for third party Sales.
    I have query regarding Item category , in std SAP Billing relevance field value for Item category TAS is set as F ... what does it mean ? What if i set it to B , what would be difference ?
    Also , at my end , I have creates a Sales order - > PR - > PO and now i am changing Qty in PO and expecting that it will automatically update my Sales order but it is not happening.
    Is it Std functionality

    SAP Billing relevance field value for Item category TAS is set as F ...

    F: Order-related billing doc. - status according to invoice quantity
    Relevant for order-related billing documents based on the invoice receipt quantity (third-party business transaction). The system transfers the order into the billing due list only after the vendor invoice has been received and processed in the purchasing department. After the receipt of each invoice, a  customer invoice is created for the quantity that appears on the vendor invoice. The order has status "Billed" until the next vendor invoice is received.
    Item category TAS (Third party item) is set up with billing relevance "F" in the standard system.
    This process can also be related to the quantity of goods receipt.
    This is self explanatory
    F means system will check whether MIRO has been done for that item
    What if i set it to B , what would be difference ?
    Billing relevance B is wrong for third party because if the sales order is for 5 qty qnd the vendor PO is for 5 units but the vendor delivers only 3  to your customer directly and he gives you bill for only 3 and you do MIRO for 3
    If you make Billing relevance B system will make customer invoice for 5 qty which is wrong
    If you make Billing relevance F system will make customer invoice for 3 qty which is correct
    Also , at my end , I have creates a Sales order - > PR - > PO and now
    i am changing Qty in PO and expecting that it will automatically update
    my Sales order but it is not happening.
    Is it Std functionality
    Yes if you update po qty system will not update the sales order qty
    you need to go for some development here

    VA01 - Create sales order (Schedule line CS and item category TAS) >> ME52N - PR is generated after save of sales order >> ME21N - Convert PR in to P.O >> Then vendor will send goods to customer and will send invoice to our company >> MIRO - Invoice receipt from vendor >> VF01 - Final invoice to customer
    When you enter vendor invoice then you come to know that vendor sent qty. same will be billed to customer(Billing relevance in item category should be F)

    read sales order number or PO number or get the information from document flow of VBFA if pO exists thengo to PO history in EKBE table if BWART - 101 then trigger billing document with reference to SALES ORDER on the same day.
    for that you need to create a Back Ground Job in SM36.

    Hello Guys,
    There is one issue related to a scenario of Third party Sales with shipping notification. Here the basic process that runs
    are : Sales order --- > PR -- > PO --> MIGO --> Billing document --> Vendor Invoice Verification.
    In this specific scenario, partial billing is not happening and the billing relevance for item category "B" and in copying control data
    from sales order to billing doccument, the biling quantity field is "A".
    Could anyone throw some light on the configuration part so that partial invoicing can happen ??? Please make a note of the fact
    that billing documents are generated after MIGO is done.

    i am doing third party sales, after creating PO with PR and updating stock through Migo , i am not able find the stock, but i can see through MB51 only , i am see the stock through MMBE or MB52

    In  third party process vndor supplies the goods directly to customer and the goods does not come to our premises at all
    In many of the scenarios that i have seen there is no MIGO itself done
    To have MIGO is purely optional in third party

    The stock updation after MIGO is posted directly to consumption account and we dont keep the stock
    So it is not seen in MMBE or MB52 (which is a physical inventory orstock report)
    The stock is not there? How can you see that ?
    If still you want to see the stocks this is entirely against business logics and consult with your MM and FI colleagues (as this query is their area of operation)
    If the third party process is happening with item category TAB then stock updation will take place after MIGO and you can see the same in MMBE/MB52
    If not happening means there is some customization error with the PO from MM side Check with MM colleague
    Make sure if the item category is TAB then schedule line category is CB
    In VOV6 for schedulle line category CB
    NB is the order type
    0 is the item category
    E is the account assignment category

                          While Creating the Purchase Order from Purchase Requistion in Third Party Sales. When I am saving the PO I am getting the Error in GL Account Cannot be Used. I have disabled the field G/L Account in settings of Account Assignment Category of Third Party. Still I am facing that Error while Creating Purchase Order.  Can you guide me where we do this Assignment of G/L Account so that I can change the G/L Account.

    1. Go to T. Code: FS00 and enter GL number and Company Code and go to Tab: Create/bank/interest, write down the field status group.
    2. Go to T. Code: OBC4 and Select your Field Status Variant and Double Click: Field Status Group (From Left-hand Dialog Structure)
    Double-Click on to Field Status Group (as noted down from in Step 1).
    From Select group, Select Additional account assignments and make Earmarked Funds, as optional.
