Creation of a button on tabs

Hi,
I'm very new to this HTMLDB technology. I have created an application with multiple tabs. and now i want to place a button on each tab, so that when i click on this but i should be navigated to main page. so how do i do?

Once you create your tabs you then need to start creating some pages that will live on the tabs of the application. Buttons live within regions of pages. So create a page, assign it to a tab, put a region on the page, then put a button on the region. Your done!

Substitution For Region, Button and Tab

We are building a general security table with groups of users(LDAP, Banner etc.) and what they can access in APEX. The table will be accessed from a custom function in Authorization schemes in any application or workspace in order to control security all in one location. I want to create 5 generic authorization schemes-one for applications, pages, regions, tabs and buttons that call this function with the appropriate parameters. This is easy in the case of the application and page eg. Security_Function(app_id=>:APP_ID, app_user=>:APP_USER , app_object_type=>='Page', app_object=>:APP_PAGE_ID).
If the authorization scheme is applied to a region, button or tab, is there a way to reference dynamically the current region, button or tab ( in the same way it can be done for the page) in order to make the authorization scheme dynamic and generic?

Creation of Radio Buttons in subscreens inside a Tabstrip...

Hi ABAP Guns,
Can any body help me in creation of radio buttons inside a tabstrip...
If i select a radio button and click ok push button it has to call 2nd tabstrip else if
i select other radio button and click ok push button it has to call 3rd tabstrip...

Don't you think it is much easier that the user <b>directly </b>selects the tabstrip instead of going to a specific tabstrip, push a certain radiobutton followed by pushing a OK button in the application toolbar???

I assume this is for a dynpro, not a report?
If so, then in your PBO you just need something like:
process before output.
module d9999_initialise.    "set default RB in here first time through
module d9999_set_tabstrip. "set g_my_program & g_my_subscreen here
call subscreen subscreen_01
    including
      g_my_program
      g_my_subscreen.
and then in "module d9999_set_tabstrip." just do a case statement on your radio button to determine which subscreen number should be displayed e.g.
g_my_program = 'Z_THIS_PROGRAM'. "change as needed!
case 'X'. "which radiobutton in group is selected
when GS_9999-RB_1.
    g_my_subscreen = '9001'.
when GS_9999-RB_2.
    g_my_subscreen = '9002'.
when GS_9999-RB_3.
    g_my_subscreen = '9003'.
when GS_9999-RB_4.
    g_my_subscreen = '9004'.
endcase.
Obviously the relevant variables will need to be defined as globals in your prorgam.

Button on tab?

Hi,
I created a button on tab i VA01-02
When I click on that button I get an error V0104. something with FCODE that I use with my button?
Do I have to do something with tables T185 ets..?

It looks like you have to configure the screen sequence for the screen.
Ask your configurator to check if the screen sequence has been done.

Change buttons to tabs

Hi everyone,
I have a scada application and in this application I have a menu.
This menu consists out of buttons now, see the attachment.
But I would like to change these buttons to tabs.
I can't find it in Labview.
Can someone help me with it?

It's not as easy to make this, I think.
In the attachment you see the VI that I am using.
The menu is not visible in this front panel, but it will appear when the scada application is started.(but you can not start it in this state, I think)
But when you move the mouse over the screen you can see where the menu is.
There is also a submenu, that I also want to use with tabs.
I hope you will understand my VI, because it is very difficult to explain.
Now you have the VI, maybe you also can have a look at the print function that I am busy with.
I want, by clicking the printer button in the lower left corner, to be able to print the page.

[Solved] Why is the home button opening tabs?

I have disabled all add-ons and extensions in an attempt to fix this issue. Every time I click the home button a tab is opened, whether I am on a different page or not. Please inform me of a way to fix this issue.

checked the home page option. there was a "|" next to my home page link with a "blank page" inserted after. Tab issue seems to be solved.

Excluding buttons from tabbing

Is is possible to exclude button from tabbing order and just tab between check boxes, radio buttons and text fields for example?

Another question about tabbing. How do I get tabbing from the last field on a page to the next or first field on a following page? I have tried but can't figure it out.

When I click on the home(house) button my tabs become full/over 350 of them at once..and my home page does not come up.

When I click on the "house" button, my tabs line fills up with addresses- over 350 of them and I still can not access my home page.

If you're certain that you have configured Firefox [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page correctly], and it's still not working, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. Button or Tab for Movies and Music Disappeared

In iTunes, when I tap Apple TV, the only buttons or tabs that comes up are Summary and Photos.
No button or tab for Music or Movies appears.
Thus, I cannot sync either music or movies.
My Apple TV software is up to date as is my iTunes.
Suggestions?

you have your appletv connected to itunes as a sharing connection only (ie not sync options).
you need to remove the link to itunes and set it up again, this time as a primary library.

I have a problem with FF 4.0b8 and Adobe Flash player where portions of the YouTube page or FF window will black out when I move my curser over buttons or tabs, etc. Any suggestions?

I'm running FF 4 Beta 8 with the latest Flash player (10.1.102.64). When I play YouTube videos, the video is loaded, starts, and plays okay, but when I move my cursor around within the Firefox window, portions of the window black out under where the cursor travels. FF tabs and buttons will black out, or parts of the YouTube page (but not the video). CTL-ALT-Del to bring up Windows Security Panel, then CANCEL will restore the Firefox window, plus the YouTube page correctly (ie black is gone and window has been redrawn correctly). I can open up new tabs and replicate the problem multiple times. I've also experienced this problem with embedded YouTube videos (though it's easiest to replicate the problem direct from the YouTube page.) I don't experience this problem at all with FF 4 Beta 8 in Safe Mode, nor the latest FF 3.x.x. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Flash plug-in. Anyone have any ideas?

Problem involving videos played from the YouTube site is much less noticeable after upgrading from FF 4.0b8 to 4.0b9, but still occurs with embedded YouTube videos, where blacking out of other portions of the window still happens.

I cannot open a new tab any way..by clicking the new tab button on tab-bar, or ctrl/T, or File/New Tab, or clicking on link on current page.

On Windows7 Premium Home Edition, I cannot get a new tab to open no matter what I try. On occasion, if I click on a link on the current page, a second tab will open, but 99% of the time I am stuck using the first tab for everything and using the back button. I have tried ctrl/T, File/New Tab, right mouse click/New Tab, and the new tab button on the tab bar to the right of the current tab.

I want to open new tabs with other ones open. So I click the + button for tabs and it does nothing. I right click and click new tab and still nothing. How do I get that feature to work again.

I click the + button to open a new tab and it doesn't do anything, not even open a new tab. I try to right click and open a new tab and still don't work. But if I right click a link and click open in new tab it will work. How do I get to open my tabs again with the + button?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Push Buttons, Radio Buttons, Folder Tabs

Could someone please let me in on the secret to selecting
background colors for push-buttons, radio-buttons and folder
tabs. I've tried the obvious properties with no luck.
I am developing on a Windows NT 4.0 platform using Developer
6.0. I will be releasing my app to the web soon and could
really use some help.
Ideally, I would like to be able to select any color ( i.e. to
match the background color of the canvas ), but so far the only
choices seem to be black, white or a couple of other non-
desirable colors ( bright red, green, yellow, yuck! ). Is a
custom color palette the ticket?
I realize that many button properties are controlled by Windows.
If this is the case, are there any work-arounds? When I
distribute the application, will I be able to offer my customers
the ability to configure Windows to correctly define the button
colors?
I am sure that others have these same questions. I have not
been able to find any answers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. Disabling Push button.
    In PBO loop at sccreen and check the field name is equal to push button name
    set screen-input = 0.
    modify screen.
    endloop.
2.assign a function code to radio button in screen element it will trigger the PAI.
In PAI during loop at table control check the field value is equal to 'X'.then not down the roqw number and in PBO enable the button based on the row number by looping at screen.
3Assign the fcode to push button.Once the user presses the button in PAI check the focde and see for which line it is pressed based on it call the pop up screen using FM or dialog box.
