Credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order
Is there a sap delivered business object that has a method to get credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order?
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have been looking at BUS2032. It does not give me a method that has the values of credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order. I now am kind of convinced that I will have to extend this object. Can anyone please tell me the steps that I will have to go through to do this. I would like to know if I should write a new function module that gets the required data from tables like VBAK and VBSTT. Should I then call the function module in a method.
Or should I use the getStatus method that BUS2032 provides and get my values from there. A little more detail to this is greatly appreciated.

How to block material issuing after sales order invoiced?
As the subject mentioned, could be a possible to block material issuing since sales order invoiced, or
in the another words, after the sales order completed?
Or could be a possible to set sales order as closed, and then material issuing related with this sales order are
forbidden?
Thanks in advanced,
Zhou ZhenDear Friend
A sales order is created say order no 10000 and for material X say 10 units this order is delivered and PGIed and invoiced and the payment too has come
That means the order 10000 is closed
Case 1
Now an user goes to VA02 t code and put this order no 10000 and changes the material X qty from 10 to 12 and opens up the whole order once again
This can be controlled by using t code OVAH choosing message class the V4 message no 083 and change from warning to error
Case2
But to avoid the user to add material Y to the existing order say 10000 then i think we have to go for user exit
Because the system doesnot even throw a warning message too in case 2 (according to my knowledge) and allows another line item to be added in the same order
But you can test it if it throws any warning message we can try to convert that error
But in case 2 it is not happening(even warning is not there)

CM: how to block the last new sales order only and not all of them?
Hi,
We are testing the FSCM-CM and try to figure out this:
We have for a customer a number of open sales orders that are all below the credit limit.
Now someone creaetes a new order and with that amount the limit is exceeded.
The system reaction is that all open orders are blocked.
How can we set the system that only the last one is blocked?
Thanks in advance
HeinHein,
I dont think there is any standard function which specially points to the last order. System will consider all the orders in which the customer is involved. I think, the above post suggest the of number of days but not the last order. Try to play with the attributes of system messages and I am sure you will get a clue from it..

What is credit management how should we tell
hi
gurus my question is what is credit management.
2) If one customer exceeds his credit limit the sales order is blocked in the enduser system. WHO will release that order. Whether enduser called his higher authority by telephone or mailed or it is automatically knows by the superior means who is working in the managerial level working in n.s.o.
thanks in advancehi
The customers credit limit is assigned to the customer by going to the Logistics overview screen, Accounting, Financial accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change.
A credit control area is an organizational unit that is comprised of one or more company codes.
Create a credit control area and assign it to a company code in the Enterprise structure under financial accounting.
A customers risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit checks when automatic credit control takes place.
In SD credit check can occur in only three places: sales order, delivery and goods issue.
The system can use a simple credit check, static credit check or a dynamic credit check.
The simple credit check is set at the document type level e.g., sales order, delivery etc.
Simple Credit Check
Assign credit limit check to the sales doc type:
A warning message
B Error message
C Delivery block
D Automatic credit control
SAP enables static and dynamic credit checks so that a sales order for a good customer with a low risk credit rating is created and a sales order for a high risk customer with a high risk rating for the same doc type is blocked.
Automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, delivery doc types, and goods issue into specific credit groups.
An outcome procedure is defined using the credit group, the customers risk category along with the credit control area.
Risk categories are defined in the FI module.
Create the different credit groups e.g., for sales order, delivery, goods issue.
Assign the credit groups to the sales and delivery doc types.
Now define the settings for automatic credit control -> combination of credit control area, customers risk category, and credit group.
All that remains is the assignment of the risk category to the customer master record. This occurs in Finance by going to the Logistics overview screen -> Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change or FD32.
The static credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer.
The dynamic credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders not yet delivered, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer. The dynamic credit check has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after the specified time period.
The credit relevant data is updated into an information structure, where it is accessed and updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group. The system allows for no update, and update group 000012, 000015 and 000018. However, update group 000012 is thorough and used in most businesses.
To view the customers credit master sheet, proceed from the logistics screen and go to accounting, financial accounting, accounts receivable, environment, credit management, check, credit master sheet [F.35].

How to block amount field and layout field in transaction MIR7
Hi Expert,
Please tell me how to block amount field and layout field in transaction MIR7 for a particular user .
i am trying to block through SHD0 tcode but it is not blocked.please give me the right ans
Thanks In AdvanceHi Rajuka,
I wasn't refering to SHD0 transaction variants. User exists and Customer exists are a very interesting enhancements in ABAP which helps to add custom logic to SAP delievered programs/function modules without actually modifying the original program.
Just to add a little more details to the concept of Custom Exits (Customized user exits), please refer the links below:
You will find a lot of information about custom exists and its types over the web. Also, your developer might provide you a better insight into this concept and its relevancy to your requirement.
Cheers!

Simple credit check - value need to be blocked from particular sales order to be post in f.35
Dear Expert,
I have a case here to find, the client uses simple credit check , we have different order types ( Example 6 order types), out of which we want to restrict the value of one order type to be posted in f.35 i.e the value should not effect credit limit used or open sales order.
Is there any standard procedure by which this can be done or do we have to use userexit.
Also can i know in which screen do we have to keep the userexits so that the value of the order type will not have impact on the f.35 or crdit limit used.
Regards
Abhishek OjhaSorry small correction to my initial post.
Even though you removed the credit group for the respective sales order type still system update the values subject to if the respective item category the "field credit active" active.
Removing the credit group to sales order type controls whether you want to perform the credit check or not. And your requirement is not to update the particular sales order document values in FD32 so the actual control is credit active field for that particular item category.
Since you have mentioned that you don't want to update that particular sales order document values( assuming that you are taking about receivable only).
Please note sales order determines the item category, so do as below.
De select( un check) the credit active field in the item category which is determined based on the sales order type for which you don't want to update credit values.
Please test and update here.So far I did not check this in my system.
thanks,

How to trace that particular Sales Order is changed (amended)
Dear All,
The issue is to know whether the particular Sales Order is Changed (amended).
Is there any concept in Sales Order like amendement.
Requirement is, once the order is created n later the customer specifications are changed n accordingly they have made changes in Sales Order (VA02) too.
However, now client wanted to track the record of this particular Sales Order which is Changed they call it as Amended & they even wanted to know how many times its changed. For eg., If suppose 100 is the Sales Order No. after the changes in VA02 it should have some version of 100.
i/p will be helpful n rewarded too.
With Regards,
VijayashreeHi

SanjayHi
You can use the table CDPOS for tracking the changes at the Table level with the Sales order number
or Else you can also use AUT10 transaction to track the logs/chanages with START DATE, END DATE and the Transaction code in your case it is VA02
Please check and revert back
