CS6 Illustrator Error Message

I try to open my CS6 Illustrator and then this message pops up before even it comes close to opening
'Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened'
and then it never finishes opening. I can't pull up anything in actual illustrator to try and trouble shoot. Not really sure what to do? If I uninstall and try to reinstall where do I go get reinstall? I purchased this as a download when it first came out, not a CD.

Nikon raw files would open up in Adobe Camera Raw and so should jpegs.
If you select one in Bridge and give the command "Ctrl r" (Windows), what happens?

ENCORE CS6 gives error message during the burning of Blu-ray Disc

I did it again - upgraded my Production Premium CS5 to CS6.
I will not forget CS4 that never came to work. It was not a workable version, but at best an Alfa or maybe Beta version.
I was therefore naturally afraid to upgrade my reasonably well functioning CS5 version, but did it anyway.
My fears kept unfortunately connectors. Audition CS6 scratchy and crunches a lot when I change Audio Device from MME to ASIO. It should be noted, that none of my other programs have this problem neither my Soundbooth nor Audition 5.5 which I fortunately still have installed. So it is only Audition CS6 that crunches with ASIO4ALL.
Encore CS6 is also a problem child. When I try to burn a Blu-ray Disc I get, in the final phase, following error message: Blu-ray Error: "device error", Code: "CreateStcSequence: Fail to write M2S file"
Fortunately, I can open the project file in my Encore CS5, which do not have the same problem. Encore CS6 cannot be used as a standalone application - I still need to have a previous version installed to complete my projects. It is not fair.
Unfortunately I can see that many others have the same problem. Even worse, however, that Adobe still has not come with an update or fair solution of the problem - after so long.
It annoys me infinitely, I every time have to spend so much time on the Internet in an attempt to find solutions to remedy Adobe problems. These are programs I have paid dearly for - exactly twice as much as others living in the U.S. pay - just because I live in Europe.
If there is a user who has some useful suggestions I would appreciate it very much.
I must complain about my bad English.

ISO files also works for me, but that's not what I paid for.
So far I use just the previous version CS5, but hope at some point to get CS6 to work.

Cs6 Bridge will not open files in Photoshop cs6, get error message pasted below

I installed Photoshop CS6 Upgrade (64bit and 32Bit) to my PC which ran CS5 Extended. When I deleted CS5, Bridge
stopped opening files, whether I double clicked on the file or did Open with: I get the same error message.

By uninstalling CS5 you have corrupted file associations. THey want to open in CS5 now and it is not on machine.
You can either unistall CS6, do a script cleaner, and reinstall.
Or you can change an entry in the registry. Here is instructions from a previous post.
I installed Photoshop CS6, then found CS5 was still there. I thought, hey, I don't need CS5 anymore, so I uninstalled CS5. then I found out that Photoshop was no longer available in 'Open with' when right-clicking an image...
So I went into the Registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell\open\command, and changed the (Default) from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" (so changed CS5 to CS6) - and now I see 'Adobe Photoshop CS6' in my 'Open with' list when right-clicking an image...

Cannot download CS6 illustrator - error 110

I have tried alteast 5 times to download the CS6 illustrator try version but it always seems to stop with less than a minute to go, and if I try do go at it again, it always give error 110.

CS6 Install Error Message

Why am I getting a message that this product is not Adobe genuine software when I try to install? After completeing a system restore on my computer, I am trying to reinstall programs that were previously installed on my computer. I have the serial number from the product I purchased about a year ago but am getting this error message that the installation failed because the product isn't Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit.

uninstall any cs6 programs that are installed.
run the cleaner, http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer
install cs6.

It sounds like something that could be corruption of preferences (which may occur during installation). You may try to Move the folder with Illy closed (or just to press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup, esasier/irreversible).

Illustrator CS6 Constant Error Messages

Hi guys,
I purchased CS6 about 5 months ago now. And for the last 3 months I have been getting constant Error 16 messages when trying to start up the program. It has become a vicious cycle of uninstalling, deleting all my adobe products, then deleting all of my adobe file folders under the C: drive, App data folders, and my User folders, then having to reinstall everything. I have been doing this consistently for 3 months and it's getting to the point of seriously disabling my workflow and costing my business way to much time. I even now today had a new problem arise. When I reinstall Illustrator and enter my serial number during the installation process it accepts it and installs fine. But when I open up Illustrator it prompts me that my trial has expired and to enter in a serial number. So I enter in my serial number again and then it works for a bit. If I close the program and reopen it literally 5 minutes later it Error 16 again.
I'm running a Dell Inspiron 15R Intel i-7 processor, 8GB RAM and Windows 8. Does anybody have any ideas on why Illustrator continues to crash and/or Error 16 almost every other day/week?

Besides the Error 16 message I am also still having trouble with the Activation and serial number recognition of Illustrator. I went to open Illustrator up today and I got this message:
It says "Activation Failed". The message is saying Product Activation is required to use this product. You must have a working internet connection to activate this product. I have full strength internet connection and I have already activated Illustrator when I did a fresh install on 12/12/13. First is was the Error:16, then it was the trial problem, and now This. What is going on?
My serial number is clearly validated and activated but the very next day I try to open Illustrator I get the message in the screenshot above. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Thank you for your support on this. However, I am running into some problems for completing the steps listed on the help page you listed. In the SLStore the deselection of "Read-Only" is not being applied. I deselect that attribute and click Apply and then Ok. If I right click again on the folder the "Read-Only" attribute is still checked.
Also for step 3 Set Permissions I cannot change any of the permissions for the SLStore even though I am logged in as the Administrator. The PCD folder does not have an Owner tab and I cannot change the permissions for this folder either.
What can I do to fix the file permissions if I am having the problems above?

CS6 beta error message 16, configuration

iMac X 10.7.3, 3.06 GHz, 8GB Ram, Have triedto download numerous ties and like the foll, hoped for different reuslts. In each instance it 'seems' to perform but when I click <.app there is a long delay, unlike CS 5.5 or Lighroom 4.1, and then a pop up message:
The file "XManConfig<Please uninstall and reinstall the product. If the problem reoccurs conract Adobe Technical support for help and mention error code 16"
Of course, I tried, but, that is not possible for beta products. Even though I have pre-ordered the CS 6 extended, I got stone-walled.
I selected the Configuration File .. another pop-up:
"The file"XManConfig.xml" coul not be opened because it may be damaged or incomplete."
Never had this with any previous Adobe products from LR 1.0 and PSE 3. Windows or Mac.
Would really appreciate help .

Pattie, I'm back here as a forlorn hope. I was directed to post a NEW topic which I did. Nothing happened and then got message from one of your guys that it had been overlooked but would be forwarded to "enigineers" .. nothing since.
i have said many times I use and greatly appreciate the Adobe products and those individuals with whom I have come in contact; but, getting actual technical help is a totally different story. Talking to a foreign national is useless, worse than useless and grustrating.
I have tried so many tiems and used up so much time trying to install the beta of CS6 including a couple of hours with Senior Apple advisers.
Just drop me a line, private if you wish, and tell me if I can actually expect someone to contact me that could use one of the programs to either observe my monitor and direct me or actually take control of the computer.

How can I talk to a person at Adobe to get help with CS6? You spend over a thousand dollars and you can't even get a phone number to call?

Illustrator error message?

Yesterday, I tried to open up my saved illustrator file, but this message box appeared on screen.
<Can't open the illustration. There is not enough room for the window; increase document area and try again.>
I do not understand what this means.
The file that I tried to open wasn't a big file
I tried to make a new illustrator but it pop up same message
by the way, my computer is not mac. I'm using windows 7
Illustrator tool menu still poped up looks like on mac computer
and you know that windows7 should be like that!!

It looks like somehow default document window size has been set to so low that Ai is not able to open a document in that area.
Can you try resetting your workspaces? If that does not work then deleting the preferences might solve your issue.

When I try open a batch of files in camera raw using Bridge CS6, an error message appears.

The only work around appears to be to then choose to open these files in PhotoShop CS6. This wil then display the adjustment screen in the normal way.
Presumably this is a bug. Any other suggestions.

I get the same thing in Mac OSX 10.7.3. When I control-click on a preview and select 'open in camera raw' I get a dialog that says it's not enabled and requires a qualifying app to have been launched first:
I've launched bridge and photoshop and if I open an app from the mini-bridge within photoshop, camera raw is launched.
