CUIC UCCX 9.0.2 w/Prem Agent

Can I use CUIC as a wallboard.  I just saw a brief demo and it appears that the real-time CUIC reports can show real-time wallboard data that can be used within the CAD integrated browser window.  Can anyone confirm this?
Joe

David,
I was told that I would need the CUIC/Premium upgrade for UCCX in order to create a real-time dashboard that has both the CSQ stats(CSQ:Sales, Support...etc) and the the individual Agent Name / Status(Ready, Not Ready...etc) with both on one dashboard.

  • UCCX 10.5 - License consumption about Agent

    Hi,
My Customer have a solution  with UCCX 10.5 and license to 400 Agents. My question is: If I use 50 CTI ports in CUCM to attend IVR, are will there decrease license about Agent of UCCX?
    Thanks,
    Wilson

    Hi Wilson,
The Agent licenses depend on the number of Seat Licenses you have on the system. For example, if there are 25 seats, then 25 agents can login simultaneously.
These do not depend on the Port licenses.
Other components which utilize seat licenses:
    Agent
    Supervisor
    Recording

  • CUIC-UCCX bundle

    Hello,
I am currently working with an UCCX 9.0(2) installation and the csutomer is using CUIC as the reporting tool. We are currently facing some troubles:
    1. We are in a timezone that is GMT-3 (Argentina). If, for instance, you ask for de summary activity report for a specific date, it comes with two lines. Trying to understand why is this happening, I found out checking the SQL, that the timeframe is being sent to the database in UTC, so for example, if I ask for a report from 9PM from one day to 8.59PM (taking into account that the user is set to GMT-3 timezone), the report comes out fine. (1 line for the whole day). That's because the SQL shows, from 0:00 to 23:59 in UTC.
I have found some solutions for this on the web, but unfortunately they appear to be for the full product and not the co-resident version, which, by the way, looks very limited.
    2. The "Not-ready Reason code summary report" does not show the custom reason codes configured. They are all grouped under "Other RC". How can I see the specific configured Reason codes and not only the system RC?
    Thanks in advance,
    Javier

    Hi Everybody,
    Here is the environment

    - the SIP route point is configured for codec g711ulaw

In UCCX administration GUI, System > System parameters > Media Parameters > Codec
It only allows me to choose G711...
is it possible to enable the G.729 for the local and remote agent?

I have added the following in CME to add a transcoder, and restarted the CCX engine.

  • UCCX 7 Call gets dropped once agent picks up

I have been troubleshooting a problem for a few weeks now where calls are being dropped as soon as the agent picks up the call. This is happening to various agents happening a few times per day everyday. I have done a reactive debug on the script and it seems to go through to the end ok yet everytime an agent reports a call drop as soon as they pickup, i see the following in the MIVR logs. I have checked the CSS/Partitions of all the CTI ports also. The CCM traces and Q931 traces show normal call clearing:

Reviewing the  MIVR logs you provide I'm not sure which call your talking about. I see 2 calls with exception messages in the time stamp your saying.
    First call:
    Apr 22 11:49:11.621 GMT %MIVR-SS_TEL-7-UNK:CallID:33466 MediaId:3673987/2 Task:30000153869 com.cisco.jtapi.CiscoRTPInputStoppedEvImpl received
However this call is dropped as per the Jtapi message that the disconnect came from the CCM side however I can see that this call was never assigned to an agent so there should be no miss calls.
As for the second call, I don't have the full picture, as we don't have the offered message of when the call arrives to the system.
Here is a break down of the other call.
    Call transferring to assigned agent:
Apr 22 11:49:07.308 GMT %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:RIMgrAddressCallObserver: CallCtlConnInitiatedEv received for call 37228421 [3673989/2] and agent AylwardM
System changed call/agent states to answered/talking
Apr 22 11:49:07.308 GMT %MIVR-SS_CM-7-UNK:AgentCallContact 33468 and implId 3673989/2 moved to Answered state
We now see the exception message:
Apr 22 11:49:07.308 GMT %MIVR-LIB_EVENT-3-DISPATCH_FAILURE:A failure occured while dispatching an event: Event=com.cisco.call.CallEvent
However if you look futher down the call is connected to the agent successfully and in a talking state.
    221901300: Apr 22 11:49:15.387 GMT %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:RIMgrAddressCallObserver.callChangedEvent():
    CallCtlConnEstablishedEv 3673989/2
    Unknown event3673989/2
    221901301: Apr 22 11:49:15.387 GMT %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:RIMgrAddressCallObserver: CallCtlConnEstablishedEv received for call:37228421 [3673989/2], address 6656, calling party 6656, and called party 01923821368
Call Dropped as it recieve a disconnect event.
221902844: Apr 22 11:49:24.621 GMT %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:RIMgrAddressCallObserver: TermConnDroppedEv received for call 37228421 [3673989/2] and agent AylwardM
The problem with the above call is that you don't see the CallCtlConnEstablishedEv till 7 seconds later, which is why I suspect you get the exception error, as it never got confirmation the call was delivered.
So my concern here, is if you stated you had a issue with calls getting dropped on the UCCX I would agree and ask you to provide CCM/Jtapi logs from the UCCX.
However you stated that your agents are getting miss calls on their IP phone, I disagree with this point as per the analysis performed.
"One question, when the CTI port is ringing the agent's phone to then transfer (reserved state) that call to that agent and the caller hangs up before the agent answer it, does the agent will hear a fast busy tone because that is what the CTI port transfer at the end to the agent? Am I right? if this is it I think there is no way to control this from the UCCX perspective, right?
    Gabriel"
This senario will never happen, as the call would be terminated the moment the other party drops.

  • UCCX 9x - Calls not Disconnecting from Agent Desktop after hangup

I have a Team of agents and 3 of them are experiencing the same issue. They will get a call and once it hangs up, the call state remains "connected" in the agent desktop. Then they get a second call it shows up "connected". So even though there is only 1 call active, it shows the 2 connected.
The IPCC extension is only assigned to one device, the correct line is assigned to their user. The max calls busy trigger is 2:1. I have had a TAC case open for almost a week and initially they thought it was the "connected" state in my script. I made the change and still issue persists. I haven't gotten anywhere with them after sending MIVR loges, etc
I have done some additional searching and haven't found anything.

    Hi,
well, I can only assume TAC already told you what debugging levels to set.
Would you mind do a test call again, collect the logs and post them to here? I am not saying I am any better than TAC but I might get an idea while taking a look at the trace files.
    Thanks.

  • UCCX - Forwarding call to a specific agent - HELP!!!!!

    Good afternoon,
I am implementing an IVR, and I am with the following problem.
If I get an external call to extension 5000, it should be directed to the agent 1, if I receive an external call to extension 5001, it should be directed to extension 5001.
I would know if there is a way to configure the script so that it forward the call to a specific agent only, and not to a queue.
    Regards,
    Bruno

    Hi
Once the condition is met , setup select resource setup to select the exact resource instead of selecting from CSQ
Make routing target type as Resource and set up resource target.
    Thanks

  • UCCX 9.02 script checking for agents logged into a queue

I'm needing change my current script so that it will check the queue before it sends a call to the skill to make sure that there are agents logged into it.  If there arent any agents logged into that skill then I need to send them to another predefined skill.  I'm sure it can be done I'm just drawing a blank at the moment, anyone willing to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,  Mark

Before arriving at the Select Resource Step you should Assign the csqId and you should have an int type and call it something like iRsrcLoggedIn (it's initial value will be set to 0). Once that is done, use a Get Reporting Statistic Step (from the ACD folder) to check for Logged In Agents for that CSQ you defined after that use if logic..IF iRsrcLoggedIn == 0 then change the csqId value to the other CSQ/Skill..do a check there if you want and then drop the call into Queue. Let me know if I should show a Screen Capture of this..

  • UCCX 7.1 - Check Logged in Agents for 2 CSQ's in same line

I have a logged in resources check that checks a CSQ String.  Can I add another CSQ to this check?  Right now it says: " intLoggedInResources = Get Reporting Statistic (Logged-In Resources{strTargetCSQ}from CSQ IPCC Express".  I need it to check "strCanadaCSQ" at the same time.

No you cannot.  One CSQ at a time with the Get Reporting Stats Step.

  • Agent transfer-in (UCCX rel 7)

In the agent summary report, I have a column called Agent transfer-in. I did not find any detailled explanation about this colume. Does it means that if the agent "A" received a call from the UCCX and transfer the call to agent "B" directly on his ICD extension, I should see the for the agent "A" a 1 under the column Agent transfer-out and a 1 in the column under the column Agent transfer-in for the Agent "b" ?

Hi Celine, I currently work with the agent templates. The agent Transfer In field is corresponding to the number of tasks transferred into the skill group. This value is updated when the agent complete the call. In short that means how many inbounds calls agents did received according to his skill group. Transfer Out is how many call agents transferred to other skill group.

  • UCCX script check "which agents not ready" and turn on MWI

    Hi!
Is there a way to check which agents that are "not ready" i.e  gather user-id and extension?
Then i want to use this "extension information" to light up the MWI on the "not ready" agents Cisco phones maybe by using unity and ctiports
    to turn on the MWI.
OR do i need DB access to the UCCX to gather realtime of the agents name + extension + status?
    Somebody tried something similar before?
    Thx Mikael

Its new but I like it!
I would database dip back into the UCCX database (find the scheme guides online in the reporting guide) check status and gather all agent ID's / extensions they are logged into.
Then do a for loop and a place call to the MWI number with the correct CSS on the CTI ports to do so... the interesting part is going to be turning them off!
I would say you could make a UCCX thats runs more like a service with an trigger point and a service based TCL script on a router to hit that number every so often to launch it like a service.
Or if your any good at coding you could write a small service and use something like OSIP(C Library) to trigger the MWI points over a custom built SIP trunk into CUCM with the service.  Tons of ways to skin a cat depending on your time and knowledge level.

  • Can I modify exsiting VM (Production UCCX) From 100 Agent UCCX to 300 agents

    Dear All,
I am in need of your help. My client contact center is running on UCCX 10.5 on UCS C220M3 Medium density. This UCCX is being configured for 100 Agents (i.e 8GB vRAM, 2vCUP and 1x146GB vDisk).
Can I modify the existing UCCX VM to accommodate 300 Agents which required 8GB vRAM, 2vCPU and 2x146GB vDisk.
If yes, could you please let me know the steps. IF not, can I take backup of existing UCCX and rebuild with 300 Agent OVA template and restore the backup on newly built UCCX.
    Regards,
    Nirmal

    Hi
No. When you build the server it's built for the specific platform you apply it to. E.g. partitions on the disks etc are prepped during the OS install routine.
If you want to migrate to a virtually 'bigger' platform you need to :
    1) DRF Backup
    2) Built a fresh VM with the new OVA template
    3) DRF Restore

  • UCCX 8.5: CSQ Name Displayed in CAD Integrated Broswer?

    Cisco Forum:
Can UCCX 8.5 for the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) provide the CSQ Name in the Integrated Broswer portion of the CAD?  That is, the CAD can be used to pop a web link to agents on incoming calls.  While the CAD can show the CSQ Name by default, it does so in a reasonable small font amid other data.  Can some call script variable be set for the CSQ Name which would then be used to dynamically pop a unique web link on CAD Integrated Browser which would then display whatever is configured as a web link to display?
As an alternative, can agents using the CAD also have a IP Phone display of the CSQ Name.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
    Dan

Before you can pass the CSQ name to the integrated browser you must first have the script pass the CSQ name to the CAD. It needs to show in the top left panel where the ANI is currently displayed.
See this link for an example of how to create a layout and the script changes to pass a value to CAD.
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3478154#3478154
You can then build a dynamic URL in the desktop administrator with the CSQ name.

  • UCCX 6.0 wrong records in Abandoned calls report

    Hello There,
I have a UCCX 6.0 setup with 20 agents. The "abandoned calls" report shows abnormally high number of calls has been abandoned. After analyzing
with "agent call details" report, we figure out that the "abandoned calls" is reporting actually handled calls as abandoned calls.
What could be the possible reason ?
    Nk.

    Hi
Are scripts configured to redirect calls outside UCCX ?
Then make sure these are set to consult transfers. Normally if they are not set that way reports show those calls as abandoned.
    Hope This helps
