Customizing Complete Task email notification
Hello all
I have an orchestration that makes use of Complete Task email endpoint, so an actor is able to continue the process by submitting
data from a PDF form he got via email.
Everything works fine, save for the fact that the end-user wants to receive the notification ("Task successfully completed") in another
format, maybe even translated.
Is there a way to customize this email template?
I'm using LC ES update 1 (8.2)

Hi,
Here is just a though: Place the "EmailService" component from "Foundation" category in your process where you want to send the notification email, then go to its "Properties > Contents" to customize the email message.

I have followed some of the other threads in the forum to setup the Complete Task email endpoint. This endpoint will handle the incoming offline PDF submissions.
However, I'm not sure what to put as the variable/literal values when I select 'invoke' within the email endpoint. The two values are: attachmentMap and mailFrom
Any ideas?

When I create a task,the tracker and the person to whom the task is assigned should receive an email notification.
But the email is not generated.

I have done the following:
1.Workflow Engine Settings for Tasks or notifications:-
System Admin/ System Config / Workflow /Engine
2.Email Notificator Service:-
System Admin/ System Config / Knowledge Mgmt/ Content Management/ Utilities / Channel Originators
3.Email Channel SMTP configuration:-
Go to System Administration->System Configuration->Knowledge Management->Content Management-> Utilities -> Channels -> Email Channel
This works in Dev and QA.But does not work in production.
Could it be that the SMTP server might be accepting emails from Dev and QA and not from the production?

We are using NW04 SP12 patch 2 for both Portal & CM-COLL
When I create a task the assigner is the only one who can receives a notification email while the assignee does not know about the task assigned to him how can I make every assignee knows about the task assigned to him?

I have set up subscription and email notifications for the approval process.
1) Emails are being triggered during Submitting documents for Approval, Approval and Publishing.
However no emails are being generated for document rejection. When a document is rejected, I believe an email should be sent to the approval initiator
can you please tell me what configurations I need to do?
2) In my portal, 'everybody' has Full control permission in the /etc/notifications folder.
In my portal, the Approver doesn't have the Delete permission in System Principals (i needed to do this for a separate test). Would this affect rejection emails?
3) Would I need to configure the SMTP server as mentioned in the 1st Help link you posted (navigate to > Defining When Notification E-Mails Are Sent) ?
In Content Mgmt > Global Services > Notificator Service, I have the channel as EMAIL, Originators as notificator.EMAIL, Inbox Channel as EMAIL.

Human Task email notification and IMS
Hi Chaps,
I have a requirement to enable the email notification functionality embedded in Human Tasks. This email functionality presumably emails everyone for that role based on their email information located in Enterprise Manager -> Security -> my relam (?), however when I log into Business Process WorkSpace and try to edit the email address - it states that "Do not use this channel for BPEL User Notification or Human Workflow; it is not stored in the identify management system and will not work"
Does this mean that I have to directly alter the LDAP Directory (somehow?) or will logging into Enterprise Manager and changing it manually suffice?
Any help you could provide would be most welcome!

I've read with exhaustion topics on ringtones but I am interested in custom sounds for email, text notify, etc. Is this possible with the iPhone?

HTML Content in Email Notifications
Hi
I was wondering if HTML content is supported in BPM Email notifications. The html code in the BPM UI task email notification is coming as plain HTML in the email, can you please let me know if there is any flag that needs to be turned on to process the HTML code before the email is sent out?

Email notification - Ok/Cancel text in the email
Hello ,
I am using oracle BPM 11g , have configured Human Task to send email notification to owner of the task .
Email gets sent correctly but in the body of email i am getting text as "OK/Cancel" (at the bottom of email )
Not sure how to remove this as i have not changed anything on email side ,just using default setting of Human task email notification .

RupeshThe patch 13335504 is in conflict with patch 14020440. So patch 14020440 solve a more critical bug in the ADF framework. Do know a workaround to mask this OKCancel without applying the patch?

Email Notification is approved but BPM Task is not getting completed
Hi,
A transaction is submitted, the approver gets a email notification. The Human task is Actionable.
So in the email, approver can see Approve / Reject links. On clicking the links it generates a email response and it is sent to the server also.
But the task is not getting approved.
Do we need to check any settings in the server or task?

Reminder email notification and task assignment notification from humantask
Hi All ,
We have developed a 3 level approval SOA composite which sends the 1st level approval to a Manager and once Manager approves the request, the approval task is assigned to a 2nd level approver role(Group) for approval and after the approval from 2nd level approver group , the approval task is assigned to a 3rd level approver group .
After the request is submitted and the task is assigned to Manager for approval. Manager receives a task assignment notification (defined in the notification tab of the .task) and a reminder notification is fired after X hours of the task assignment. The issue is, the assignment notification and reminder notification are same, is it possible to send different notification on task assignment and a different notification on reminder.

surenThe default email solutions in planning are using workflow or task lists, though the task lists are based on due dates.
If you wanted a solution where an email is sent out when a task list is complete, then one route could be to have a business rule attached to a task list and then the business rule uses a custom CDF to send out email notication.
If you are interested in sending emails from business rules then I did write a blog on the subject a while back.

I am trying to complete the task within Task Notification email itself.
I configured the custom email template to have all the actions of the assigned task (displays as expected).
When the user clicks on any action link, it open email client with approriate action name and a digest code.
But after sending the email, the task still running (not completed after sending email).
PS: I unchecked the option 'user must open the form to complete the task'

I think the Completion task can be used to send across the notification for completion of task. The Action flag needs to be updated once the service action has reached to the final task. Although, this should have been updated once the Service orchestration is completed.
But, please check the Task Notification -> Completion Task. If you can add this task in the orchestration workflow, I think it should send across the completion flag update to the Service.
You need to capture the Task ID dynamically, probably if you can do that using XPath, UserID (who completes the task), mail from - from email address of the message, user - action - action being taken, Output - Outputstring to capture the String result returning from the service.

Email: Workflow and Task List Notification
Hi,
I am wondering whether the setting 'Workflow and Task List Notification' in application settings is functionality that I can use: I would like to setup the e-mail notifications for planning. One of the tasks on a standard task list that we would like end users to be able to do is to inform a particular user/group that a particular task has been completed. I would not like this task to be a workflow task, can e-mail notifications be sent for standard task list items?
Options that I have reviewed:
- Custom button on a dataform - not sure whether I can send parameters through to this, however I could use the form name as a description.
- A *.jsp page that accepts two parameters 'Description / form name' and 'e-mail address' and the page then sends off an e-mail (Lotus Notes from WebLogic 9)
- Workflow - although this inform task is not entity driven. Also the notifications are across plan types i.e. one cube enters in Information and then informs users of the second cube that figures are required - which we then import using xref.
Any advice would be much appreciated. I know it can be done, I am just looking for the easiest way to implement this using standard planning functionality where possible.

I've configured this template in my process tasks notifications. The e-mails for C and R status were sent OK but the values were all empty. Below are the subject and body of this email definition.

OIM 9102: Send Email Notification to other user in a task
I created a process in OIM. In this process exist a Task: Manager Process. When this task will be completed for the user that be assigned. In the Notification Tab are able to send a email notification to a Assign User, Requester User, User or User Manager. But i need to send a email notification a other user different to them, for example: juan.perez, this user is in OIM.
I have read the following documents:

You can use OIM email API to send an email from the java code. You can attach code on post creation user using entity adapter. Every time a user is created the email is triggered.

Internal Order Budget Exceeded when creating a PO
