Data missing in QA after BPC transport

Hi,
I have transported the Appset, the request transported successfull to QA from Dev with RC =0.
however ceratin Input schedules, reports, Scripts are not visible in BPC QA. are we missing something?
CV in Action Pane in QA says 'more' 'more'
Do I have to make a copy of APSHELL in QA before I do the Appset transport for the first time?

No, you only need to configure it once and transport it throughout the landscape. If you go to the class CL_UJT_TRANSPORTS_MGR and look at the UPDATE_CHG_TABLE method, if there the below method call is on line 30, then you are safe. Again, these TLOGOs are now handled by the framework, so it will add them in the table if they do not exist in the target system during import.
lt_mandatory_tlogo = do_transports_dao->get_mandatory_tlogo( ).
If you do not see this line of code, then I would say they DO need to be in the table in the target system. It really depends on what SP level you are at.

Random dates missing from phone after isync

Hi,
I have recently found that some of the dates I add to my iCal do not sync to my phone (K800i). It seems to be a random pattern and I cannot see any difference between the dates that appear and the ones that don't.
Has anybody else had this, or know of a solution?

Are the dates that are not syncing all in the same Calendar in iCal?
Are the dates that are not syncing before the last clocks change (March) or after the next clocks change (October)?
Backup your Address Book and iCal data by choosing the relevant Backup command on the apps File menu, Then...
Try clicking "Reset sync history..." in iSync prefs
Try clicking on your phones icon in the iSync window, then choose "Reset device" from the "Devices" menu.

Process Chain triggers Automatically after the Transport

Hello There,
I have a Process chain setup to load Transaction Data and the infopackets are set to "Immediate Start"..
When I transport these to Test environment, they are getting executed immediately after the transport..
Just wondering ,, this is what it intended to do.. because I don't want to run them after the transport.. is it something I am missing anything here ??

Mavi,
Once you click delete and save. The schedule is deleted. You could view via Maintain Start Variant -> Direct Scheduling button.
You will noticed that there is nothing schedule i.e. all tabs (immediate, specific datetime, etc) are not scheduled.
Answering to your question on modifiable in Test and Production box :
All you have to do is go to RSA1 -> Transport Connection -> Object Changeability -> Change the Process Chain objects to Changeable -> Save.
And you are done i.e. you could change the scheduling of the RSPC in Test and Production.
Remember to assign the point to the solution provided...:-)

Error " Data missing for the entry check while creating a new waste code

Hi all, While setting a new Waste code I get the error " Data missing for the entry check, correction:". while filling the NAM- WASTECOCAT - LER item.
This sould look for the catalog's name included in the phrase set but for some reason it doesn't find it giving me this error.
I am changing original Characteristics, phrase set, classes, and value assignment type. Just to have my own estructure with Znames for all of them.
I have also change the enviroment parameter "WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG" with the name of my phrase set.
I have checked everything several times watching for typos or looking for a missing step.
I have even tried including my new Z's characteristics in the classe and living the original SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG. (changing the enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG to SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG) and it works.
I will like to change this characteristic by Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
Phrase set to Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG.
enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG= Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
After matching up the master data It should work fine but I might be missing something to get it running ok.
¿Any idea?

Hello Juan Carlos, the value and class that I want to duplicate and doesn't work is for Waste Code, I have also duplicated the one you have displayed (waste pproperties) without any problem.
1.I have duplicated and changed class SAP_EHS_1024_001. to Z_EHS_WA
2. Create a copy of the 5 characteristics included in this class.

Its very obnoxious after all these years to have Apple Mail continue to complain about Missing Plug-in

Further investigation on this, I have noticed that in our QA system, where "Conversion of Source System names after the transport" : O screen, we have columns
Original Source System, Target Source System, 7.0, Description(I guess, since no name is found)
Everything looks fine to me with reference to actual techinical names of source/target system...
My question there is a check box on column "7.0", which is UNCHECKED. Is this correct?
My understanding is that, this check box needs to be CHECKED, since this is related " Only Valid for RSDS, TRFN and DTPA Objects ". Is this correct?
If yes, Can I check this box in QA system, save and retransport my requests. If so, what happens to standard BW objects i.e., transfer ruels, update rules etc...
OR do i need to create another entry with same source/target system and check the 7.0 box.
OR do i need to create 3 entries with same source/target system and check 7.0 box for each entry i.e., RSDS, TRFN, DTPA.
Finally, please advise the exact steps that need to be taken here...pros and cons

Hi,
Yes you need to check the checkbox as it is related to Data sources and transformation and DTPs. you can mark the check box if your client is modifiable, if not you need to transport the setting from DEV. Go to
SPRO > Business Intelligence>Transport Settings--> Change Source system name after transport.
you also need to maintain the Source system IDs .

Mapping of Quality System (Source System) after the Transport

Hi,
We have two quality source systems like 300,400 in sync with the development ,to extract the data . I am transporting Transfer rule mapping from the development .After the transport to Quality , the changes are reflected in 300 . But I want to change it from 300 to 400 i.e.Transfer rule mapping should be reflected in 400. What is the transaction code used to change this mapping in BW System?

When you transport - you have a transport mapping in your dev system that tells BI which system connects to which system in the QA system for instance
FLAT_FILE in DEV could be Z_FLATFILE in QA - accordingly the datasources are mapped. Also the transfer rules are source system specific which means that you change the source system - the transfer rules will have to be recreated.
Instead what I am asking you is to maintain the mappings for client 400 in DEV and then maintain the mappings as 400 - 400 in the qa system and then transport the same. If your dev systems are linked to QA300 and your mapping says QA400 the same will hold good.. however if you have QA300 in dev to be sent to QA as QA300 and then change the source system .. it will not work since this will be seen as a source system change and you cannot change the same. You could try BDLS and try changing the logical client name ( I am not sure if it is BDLS ) or change the RFC connection parameters in SM59 but am not sure if it would work....

Product sales area data missing in crm

I'm currently having a problem with some of the products that are being replicated from R/3 to CRM.Product sales data initial synchronization is complete from ecc to r3,user create order is ok in crm.After a period of time,product sales area data missing in crm,we don't know when is lost,the problem is that we can't do an order for several products because there's no data in the sales and distribution tab(Sales Org., Distribution Channel) of the product master in CRM.

What you can do is,
Create a request for a material whose Sales Area data is missing in
CRM , and perform the request load in transaction:R3AR4.
And please check whether sales area data flows to CRM.
Put a filter in txn:R3AC1, to download single material or material
range.And before performing an initial load in txn:R3AS,please make
sure that sales area data is missing in CRM.Now, perform the initial
load in txn:R3AS.And please check whether sales area data flows to
CRM.
Check the filter settings in transaction R3AC1 for
object MATERIAL and please make sure that it would bring down all
the expected materials from R/3 along with the sales area data. I guess there is some
filter setting which is blocking it.
Please check the entries you have maintained in table MVKE - the entries
for the sales data maintained here must match with the ones maintained in the
filters.

Missing application icons after upgrade to 2.0

Missing application icons after upgrading to 2.0. Tetris, Clock and Voice recording icons are missing. Looks like the applications are still installed but they are not showing up with all the other icons.
There is absolutely nothing in the help about restoring icons.
Any ideas as to how I can get these missing icons to display again?

Data upload from R3 to BPC using filters

We are facing a performance issue on the uploading data flow from R3 to BPC. Two steps have been set up.
Step1: R/3 --> ODS --> BW CUBE (No filters and full mode)
Step2: BW CUBE --> BPC CUBE (Standard BW upload package)
The first one (from R3 to a BW Cube) has no filters, so it loads every data and it takes too much time. However, the second one (from the Cube to BPC) has filtering options, so we can only load the data we need to (we usually use entity and time filters).
Both are executed from the BPC DataManager.
Any advice to improve the performance of the first step? Could we join the step 1 and step 2 and get the filters from the standard BW upload process using a custom process chain?
Does anybody have any experience using filters to reduce the amount of records on the data uploading from R/3 to BPC?

**I'm not quite sure how you are getting the above data from infocube.Are you directly loading data from PSA to infocube with out loading data into DSO -0FIGL_O10(General ledger(New):Transaction figures) ?
To get required format of following data, no need to do any thing while laoding the data into BPC. Your BI infocube should maitain the data in below format.
GroupAcc - Date - Balance
100000 - 12.12.10 - 100 - (LC)
100000 - 12.12.10 - 100 - (TC)
100000 - 12.12.10 - 200 - (GC)
To acheive above format of data in the infocube please follow standard way of data flow given by SAP in BI Contect(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/e6/f16940c3c7bf49e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm).
Flow should be
R/3 --> PSA --> DSO -->Infocube.
In this flow its important to remember about infoobect 0CURKEY_TC in DSO.
This is always the currency key of the transaction currency; it is also filled for records with a different currency type. Without this key field, postings with different transaction currencies would be overwritten after summarization and thereby be lost.

Once you follow the standard flow, your infocube contains the requried format (LC,TC and GC )of data to load it into BPC application.

Material availability date can not be after the delivery date

Dear Experts,
we are using the following scnario,
1. Once the user creates the sales order, automatically system creates PO in the background.
we have created Bapi program for creation of Background PO in SD User Exit.
The following issue occurs in Prd, DS1, QS1 server, We have done Technical upgradation project, Now when we creates sales order automatically po created with error message of Material availablity date can not be after the delivery date. even sales order no also not updated in the PO.
QAS server (without technical upgrade) i refered the same input parameter and used the same and create the sales order system generates PO automatically without error message.
Does any one can through lights on this issue,

The dates are determined due to shipping and transportation scheduling settings. So check whether the shipping and transportation scheduling is being performed as per the cofiguration settings after Technical upgrade. Since the MAD date should not be after Delivery date but it seems that the dates are not determined properly.
Also check the Transit time, Loading time, Pick/Pack time and Lead time are retained as same as before the technical upgrade. Use the QAS server settings to validate the settings in other servers.

InfoObject is missing in report after upgrade

Hi,
My InfoObject Statistical ID is missing in Report after Upgrading from 3.5 to 7.0.
I did comparison of report before and after upgrade and found this issue.
the data content is the same but only this infoObject cannot be seen in the report
how do I correct this issue.

Mavericks -ical data missing when printed

I print off my iCal each week, however after installing mavericks it is not printing data, I've tried printing day, week and month all have appointments missing days and dates missing etc.
I have reinstalled my printer, this hasn't resolved the issue. (canon mp610) .
Anyone else tried to print the ical and got the same issue?

You can see below the options selected, all text is missing from the print out, only prints coloured blocks related to calendars.
This also happens when saving as a PDF, also I am unable to print pdf invoices.

FAGLFLEXA and BKPF data missing

End user unable to print the accounting document since data missing in FAGLFLEXA and BKPF table for the ledger type OL.
Transaction code "/SOL/FI_CN_VOUCHER", I guess it is an program issue we have to include the OL .
Please advise how to fix this issue.

Dear Udaya,
Check whether scenario has been transported to the system properly. If you have scenarion missing in the configuration, you will have data inconsistencies. It is depending upon your Document Spiliting conditin and no of parallel ledger etc.
If all customization are correct, then I don't know if it is usefull for you or not but it may be correct all data.
FAGL_DELETE_RELOAD_LEDGERS, run it in SA38 and everything will be all right.
There are other programs you can find usefull RGURECGLFLEX and FAGL_DELETE_DOCUMENT.

Camera Data missing

I'm having a problem with the embedded camera data that is stored with a photograph. I'm not sure but every once in a while PS deletes the data from a photograph when I edit the photograph. This is not happening every time. Some photographs I edit all the data is still there after I edit. Others I edit have been changed. All the camera data is missing and the original creation date, the date the photograph was taken is changed to the date I edited the photograph. The creation date and time is important to me to keep photographs from different cameras in the correct sequence of real time. Is this normal for PS or am I causing it?

Took a number of my photographs and made editing changes to them that I frequently do. No data lost, no date changes. I don't know what happened to the other images that changed so I guess I'll have to continue on. I'll keep a closer eye on images I change and see if it happens again. Until then I would say this discussion can be closed. Thanks for your help.
