Delivery Block being Removed in Sales Order

Hello,
While Creating a Sales Order, the moment we enter the Sales Order Entry initial Screen, the Delivery block is being set to a Default Value. However, when I enter the Sold-To,Ship-To, Material, Quantity & Plant and press enter, it disappears. But the Functional Requirement is that it should remain the same even after pressing enter. Can some one give me an idea as to how to achieve it?
Thanks and Regards,

Hello,
In fact there are no Checks / Validations in any of the User-Exits for Sales Order. I think it has something to do with Config which is setting the Delivery Block automatically for some of the Order Types and I want to know which would be the appropriate place to restore the Delivery Block after the Enter is pressed. Is there a BADI for Sales Order? Or do I need to do the check in USER_EXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK? Please let me know.
Thanks and Regards,

  • Block Line items in sales order with no confirmation and auth check

    Hi.
We have a requirement to block some line items ( hold for review ) in a sales order while allowing other line items to be delivered.  In the standard SAP system, a schedule line block is possible, but it does not remove the confirmation for the line item. Also, we would like only some authorized people to be able to remove the block.
Would appreciate suggestions from the forum
    Thanks and regards
    Rohit Zalani

    Hi,
Thank you for your responses. We could do a reason for rejection, but would not like to go down that path since the item is not classically rejected and it may show up in the rejection reports or give wrong information. We wanted to use a delivery block and remove confirmations for the line item. Standard SAP does not operate this, but would appreciate inputs from the esteemed members if anyone has done this before.
    Thanks and regards

  • Billing block "Calculation missing" in sales order

When I save sales order today, i find that billing block - 01 Calculation missing is trigger.  I have not found this block before.  What is the root cause of this?

    Hi,
Someone has change the configuration to have the billing block automatically in your sales document type. You can check it in the transaction VOV8.
Go in to your sales document type and see the field "Billing Block" under section "Billing". The value should be now "01". That's the reason why you get this billing block automatically in the sales order. If you don't want it to appear, please remove this entry to Blank and then try with a new sales order.
    Best regards,

  • Delivery note with reference to sales order - 0 quantity items

    Hi all,
our system allows items with quantity 0 to be created in delivery notes with reference to sales orders.
This happens when some items in a sales order are out of stock while others are availiable. The unavailable items are included in the delivery note, but have quantity 0.
The requirement is to eliminate this behavior and to create delivery notes with availiable items only.
I would be grateful for any advice how to realise this.
    Best regards, Andreas

Make the necessary configuration i.e. Check quantity 0 field value should be maintained as B in the respective delivery item category using transaction 0VLP.

    GSL.

  • How to block material issuing after sales order invoiced?

As the subject mentioned,  could be a possible to block material issuing since sales order invoiced, or
in the another words, after the sales order completed?
Or could be a possible to set sales order as closed, and then material issuing related with this sales order are
    forbidden?
    Thanks in advanced,
    Zhou Zhen

    Dear Friend
A sales order is created say order no 10000 and for material X say 10 units this order is delivered and PGIed and invoiced and the payment too has come
That means the order 10000 is closed
    Case 1
Now an user goes to VA02 t code and put this order no 10000 and changes the material X qty from 10 to 12 and opens up the whole order once again
This can be controlled by using t code OVAH choosing message class the V4 message no 083 and change from warning to error
    Case2
But to avoid the user to add material Y to the existing order say 10000 then i think we have to go for user exit
Because the system doesnot even throw a warning message too in case 2 (according to my knowledge) and allows another line item to be added in the same order
But you can test it if it throws any warning message we can try to convert that error
But in case 2 it is not happening(even warning is not there)

  • BAPI for Outbound Delivery Creation with reference to Sales Order

    Dear all,
I'm on R/3 4.6B platform and to develop an RFC for outbound Delivery creation instead of using the standard VL01N transaction.
I've review BAPI for Outbound Delivery Creation with reference to Sales Order - VL01N thread which suggest BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC .
However, in 4.6B, that function module doesn't exist. Appreciate any suggestion and or workaround.
    Thanks.

  • Blocked for payment from sales order

    Hi!
Do you know to do to the FI document will come blocked from sales order?
For example, I did a sale order with a client x. The payment terms of this client is setting to block the payment.
So, when I did a sales order, and do all SD process, after billing it, on FBL5N the client document isn't blocked for payment.
Do you know any way to block it from a sales order??
    Regards,
    Danielle.

    hai,
A is also fine. If the payment terms is applicable for both customer as well as vendor, then the system will block for payment and in FBL5N also system will show with block indicator A.  Or
Try to block in same FBL5N, select particular document, goto environment in menupath select change document and block it and then save. Again run FBL5N check the block indicator.
There is no additional configuration is required apart from my first reply.

  • Creating a delivery note based on a sales order in SBO2005

    Hi
I am using the diapi to create a delivery note based on a sales order. Everything works well apart from I have 3 user defined fields on the sales order lines, 2 numeric and one which is a combo box.
The 2 numeric values as copied across ok but the combo is not.
I don't know what the delivery number is as I guess SAP assigns that after I save the delivery note.
Can anyone help me with this please ?
    Regards Andy

    Hi Paul & Gilbert,
As you assumed, the docentry is created at the moment when you are saving the document.
The docentry for the last created document can be retrieved from the Company object. There are two alternative methods for this: GetNewObjectCode and GetNewObjectKey. Please see the DI API reference for more details. These are the only reliable way to get the last created docentry. A query might work nicely in 95% of the cases, but in a multi-user environment it will sooner or later produce incorrect results.

    Hi Gurus,
The system is giving a messsage saying delivery proposal not possible in sales order atp screen and i'm able to save teh sales order but it doesnot show up in MD04. I want the sales orrder to show up in MD04.
    PLesae help
    Thanks
    Anusha

    Hi,
    Now you have to provide additional information about your scenario;
    1) Is it a new material created that gives this problem?
    2) Did you create any new MRP type or schedule line category?
    3) When you say some materials-sales order is not seen in MD04 and some seen in MD04. Is there any any difference between the materials like in types, MRP views etc?
    From SPRO side,
You also need to check the transfer of requirement settings in t.code OVZ1 for what requirement type assigned  to your MRP type and item category. Also check the properties  of the  requirement type  in t.code OVZH what req.class is assigned to the  req.type.
Check the property of the  req.class in t.code OVZG (aval.check and TOR must be checked  at req. class level)
You may also need to check in t.code OPSS on the strategy (which is assigned in the material master MRP view3) on whether TOR and availability check has been activated  or not.
If all are OK, then run the report which is mentioned in the earlier response.

  • Credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order

Is there a sap delivered business object that has a method to get credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order?

    Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have been looking at BUS2032. It does not give me a method that has the values of credit status  and overall blocked status of a sales order. I now am kind of convinced that I will have to extend this object. Can anyone please tell me the steps that I will have to go through to do this. I would like to know if I should write a new function module that gets the required data from tables like VBAK and VBSTT. Should I then call the function module in a method.
Or should I use the getStatus method that BUS2032 provides and get my values from there. A little more detail to this is greatly appreciated.

  • Status : Being Processed in Sales Order after the Delivery and Billing also

    Hi All,
For one Sales Order........ Delivery and Billing are over but it shows
    In the Sales Order> Header level>Status bar>Overall Status>Being Processed.
    In Document Flow:
Sales Order xxxxxxxxx  : Being Processed.
    Delivery xxxxxxxxxxxx   : Completed.
    Billing xxxxxxxxxxxxx    : Completed.
Functionally we checked everything......but through technically we can solve the issue or not
Pls help me with some solutions.
    Advanced Thanks.
    Diwakar Reddy.
    [email protected]

    Hi,
This generally happens if the sales order is for a quantity greater than the quantity delivered.
SAP treats the sales order as still open and delivery of the remaining quantity is possible through that sales order itself. So the status is shown as "Being Processed".
If you want to see the status as "Completed" then you need to cancell the remaining open items in that sales order. Automatically the status will change to "COMPLETE"
    Hope this solves your querry.

  • Suppresing Delivery note prints for certain sales order types/item category

    Hi
I need to find a way of suppressing some delivery notes from being printed.
Relating to orders for consignment fill up and consignment issue.
The delivery notes are needed to be printed for 'Consignment fill up order' type, BUT not for Consignment issue - as this is confusing some of the warehouse staff at month end.
All have the same delivery type, the only difference i can see is the item category types are different
Is there a way i can use the sales order type, with customer number as an access sequence for the Output type ?
    -  Or the Item category type ?
Is it possible to add sales order type or Item category into the FIELD CATALOG :- output for deliveries
Your help would be much appreciated
    Cheers
    Tony

    Hi,
I can suggest you something, but do remember that I've never done such kind of thing till date.
    >> Copy LF and create new delivery type
    >> Assign this to your consignment doc. types
    >> Kindly remove the Header output determination procedure assigned to this new delivery type
    >> Then assign output det. procedure at Item level {according to Item category}
    >> Then check if will cater to your requirment or not.
Please keep one thing in mind that I am giving you a proposal by thinking in one logical way and I can't confirm the practicality of the proposal.

    hi,
