'Delivery Completed' and 'Final Delivery' indicators in me23n

Hi Guys,
What's the difference between the 'Delivery Completed' and 'Final Delivery' indicators in me23n?
Best Regards,
Alper Myumyun

Hi,
EKPO-ELIKZ ("Delivery Completed" Indicator)
SAP help (pushing F1 on the field):
Indicates that the item is to be regarded as closed.
(SAP F1 in MIGO)
Indicates whether the delivery completed indicator is set for this item in the corresponding purchase order.
Use
This indicates the current status of the purchase order item.
EKPO-EGLKZ ("Outward Delivery Completed" Indicator)
SAP help (pushing F1 on the field):
If this indicator is set, no further outbound deliveries can be generated for the item.
The indicator is used in conjunction with a partial delivery arrangement. If the partial delivery arrangement provides for just one delivery attempt, for example, the system automatically sets the "outward delivery completed" indicator when the outbound delivery is created.
You can also set the indicator manually.

Csaba

  • Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set

    Dear SRM Experts,
I would like to share with you the below problem that i asked to be answered from SAP support and would appreciate any solution suggestions for this problem.
The problem I'm facing is relevant for two of my clients: one using SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 and the other using SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0.
I was looking for a note solution concerning goods receipt reappearing in the confirmation screen (BBPCF02) although the confirmed quantity was equal to the ordered quantity and by chance I came up against note 1292032 - Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set; that was released after a long list of notes that DID ALLOW the posting of Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set.
    [Note 1292032|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1292032]
Applying this note through the note implementation or Support package will ELIMINATE the option for the Goods Recipient (that do not have and will not have a PO change authorization) to indicate in any way that he is not expecting to receive those goods.
Please follow the below example to exemplify this problem:
A PO was created as follow:
    Item Product Quantity Price
    1 A1 10 10
    2 A2 10 12
    3 A3 10 14
    4 A4 10 16
    5 A5 10 18
    6 A6 10 20
A first confirmation was created for the following products and quantities:
    Item Product Quantity Final Delivery
    1 A1 5 X
    4 A4 10
    5 A5 2
A second and FINAL confirmation was created for the following products and quantities:
    Item Product Quantity Final Delivery
    2 A2 8 X
    3 A3 10
So at the conclusion of the above example:
For items 1; 2; 3; 4 the delivery completed indicator should be set as all expected quantities were delivered, as per items 5 and 6 they will remain open and as of note 1292032 there will be no way that the Goods Recipient can indicate IN THE SYSTEM that he is not expecting any more deliveries (keep in mind that he do not have any PO change authorization), and the PO will remain as opened and will keep appearing in the Confirm Goods / Services transaction.
Sending an e-mail to the purchaser, asking to set the Delivery Completed indicator in the PO is not a feasible option as all process should be backed up by the system and sending e-mails cannot be monitored by the system.

  • Planned Delivery Date and Actual Delivery date.

    Hi,
Is there a report in SAP which shows the delivery date of a PO line item and actual GR posting date from PO history in one report?
I need to display the planned delivery date and actual delivery date in one report, preferably in columns next to each other.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
To my knowledge there is no such report. You will have to develop this report through ABAP help. You need to pick the planned delivery date from the PO and GR posting date from material document. Both this fields (EEIND & BUDAT) can be viewed in the PO history.
However, challenge will be when you have multiple delivery dates and receipt posting dates are for part quantities.

  • Delivery completion flag at delivery document level

    Hello Tean
we have developed one inbound interface and Now the interface is working fine.. I am able to do the GR against inbound delivery and the PO status and delivery completion flag is also set at the PO level but now my FO is asking to me to set the delivery completion flag at inbound delivery document level and updation of history also. so i request you to please check and help me to find the solution.
Technical details which i have used for developing the interface
    IDOC type: MBGMCR03
    Message type: MBGMCR
Post Goods Movements with MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT (ie bapi_goods_mvt_create )
Please check and let me know the solution.

use T code SQVI. here you can join tables having atleast one key field among.
SQVI> give table name> press create> pop up will come> give the details > select table join from the drop down> click insert table> in pop up give table name > table details will appear> again press insert table> give next table name and so on. this way you can join many tablesd with key field. if key field is not there. it will not allow.  after joing all the required tables press back button.
now from left side pane you can select the fields from ech table and decide which should come as input ( for eg company code , date etc)  and the outputs from each table.  Then save.
now you can execute this in the same screen. or else you can use it later on also.  go to SQVI. give the Quickveiw name you have selected. and exceute.  it will act a  report with the inputs and outputs you have selected.
if you want to restructure the report . it is possible.  change the input and output fields.  and save

  • VL32N Zero Receiving or Setting Delivery Complete on Inbound Delivery

    ERP Retail Scenario:
We receive ASN from vendor creating inbound delivery; however, some items are not received so we enter zero quantity for them into VL32N
Zero quantity does not post to article document and invoice verification process (GR-IV)cannot be done.
    1) Can delivery complete flag be enabled in VL32N (currently grayed out) so document flow proceeds as in MB01? We do not want to use MB transactions for EDI process.
    OR
    2) Can GR-IV process be set to ignore zero received items? Currently if we remove the flag from the PO, it works but we want to do it without removing this flag.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi ,
You can Crete VL32N without the available Quantity , I.e You can delete the Zeroed Qnty and Create a new Inbound for the rest . Hope it works.

  • Difference between Scheduling agreement delivery schedule and PO delivery s

    Dear All,
Please tell the difference between the Scheduling agreement delivey schedule and PO delivery schdule.
In PO itself, we can give the delivery schedule.
Then what is the purpose of making scheduling agreement and maintain schedule in ME38?
    Regards

    Hi,
Difference between Scheduling agreement and PO is while PO is a legal document whatever the delivery schedules you mention in PO, you are liable to pay for the entire qty in case of cancellation
In case of scheduling agreement, we have Firm Zone and Tradeoff Zone to provide some cushion against paying for the entire qty you have ordered
    Firm zone: (go-ahead for production)
If the date of a schedule line lies within the firm zone, the vendor has the go-ahead to produce the relevant quantity with the assurance that the orderer will bear any and all material and production costs associated with the scheduled quantity in the event of subsequent cancellation by the latter.
Trade-off zone: (go-ahead for procurement of input materials)
If the date of a schedule line lies within the trade-off zone, the vendor has the go-ahead to purchase any input materials necessary to produce the scheduled quantity. The orderer will recompense him in full for such outlay (but not for any other production costs) in the event that he should subsequently cancel the scheduled quantity.
Schedule lines that lie beyond the firm and trade-off zones fall within the planning zone (forecast zone) and are for rough guidance only, being without any commitment on the part of the orderer.
In case of PO if you want to cancel the order, you are liable to pay for the entire quantity, while in case of Scheduling agreement if you want to cancel the schedule and if the days fall in Firm zone or trade off zone or planning zone you have to pay only for raw materials or assembled products according to the above description

  • Delivery grouping and the delivery date for group in SD

    Hi
Using a userexit I am grouping certain materials together.  However the delivery date for group field is not picking up the expected date.
    Assume the following example:
    Material X            Delivery Date 20.12.2006
    Material Y           Delivery Date 27.12.2006
If I group them together I expect the delivery date for the group to become 27.12.2006 however it is picking up 20.12.2006.
If anyone has some thoughts regarding this they would be most appreciated.

Yeah got ur point i was mapping the table configuaration for ur reference.
This grouping is supposed to make sure that all materials are delievered at the same Date (VBEP-EDATU) and must use the last date in the delivery group.
    say materials  X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
                         Y -- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
so the matnrs are avalaible in VBAP along with  for the VBELN and POSNR values now pick the delivery date for this material from VBEP   ,,
Now once the itab is sorted by delivery group  and EDATU descending .
so X and Y are present in for delivery group 001 say .
    X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
    Y-- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
after sort by date it will be
    Y-- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
    X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
which will pick up the latest date (or max date)
Tis was what i meant to say.
what is the incude you r using ?

  • Re: specs for project settings and final delivery of animations for HD broadcast

    Hi all,
i just finished reading the studio techniques book by mark christiansen and i have i few doubts, maybe someone working on similar proyects can help me out, i hope so!!
i live in a PAL country and i mostly design and animate infographics in AE with shape layers, illustrator files and psd files. i may work in a proyect for HD tv broadcast and some issues and insecurities had crawled in. i would like to describe wich will be my guess as to the workflow:
1- setting up the project in AE:
obviously the color working space should be consistent between aplications. Linearize is important but i don´t fully grasp the concept.
    2) my master composition:
here, the choice of frame rate should be 25/50 depending on..? is just a choice if you work with live footage from hd cameras? applies to animations, graphics?
And last question, which would be the preferred delivery file format and encoding? i know the choices are wide but if you have a setting that´s working for you and your clients then i´ll be helpful.
Also. if you have an article you can recommend where there is a clear explanation it´d be appreciatted, it seems (for me) the deeper you digg the more confused i become.
    Thanks in advance!!

You must check with the broadcaster. They either publicly publish their requirements or they are listed in a contract. There's no one size fits all here. The best option for broadcast work is to render a lossless or nearly lossless copy of your work as a DI (digital intermediate) and then compress the project to the exact broadcaster specifications using Adobe Media Encoder or another app specifically designed for compressing video for delivery. The only time you ever look like an amateur is when you don't ask for the specifications. I regularly deliver the same footage do different distributors in 6 different formats.

  • MIRO: Delivery note and Planned Delivery Costs

    Hi experts,
I'm trying to register planned delivery cost starting from the delivery note selection in MIRO.
The reason is that i usually have many GR of the same PO and i want to register the correct delivery cost only for the material that i have actually received.

  • STO delivery date and VL10B delivery

I'm trying to run VL10B to create a delivery for a STO item that is in stock, but no  delivery is created.
The STO item, however, has a delivery date prior to the current date.  If I change this delivery date on the STO to a future date, the VL10B then picks up the item and creates a Delivery.
I suspect this is related to an availability check not being performed by VL10B.  Surely I should not have to go back to STO items each time and change the delivery date.  Thoughts??

    Hi Chad
when you try to create run VL10B, system will check with STO (Purchase Order)  delievry date. If date is falling within Delivery creation date, it will allow you to create.

  • VL31N delivery date and PO delivery schedule date

    Hi Experts,
The quantities in VL31N picking from PO with future delivery date schedule.
Is it standard scenario or we are missing something....we are looking for restriction in creating VL31N document for those quantities which are having future delivery date....confirmation control used 0004.

    Hi,
Please have a look in to the KBA: 1488434 - How are quantities calculated when creating an inbound delivery?   which explains the logic.

  • Unchecked final invoice and delivery completed indicator via BAPI_PO_CHANGE

    Hi All,
Is it possible to reset the final invoice and delivery completed indicators of PO in ME23N using BAPI_PO_CHANGE? I need to unchecked the final invoice and delivery completed indicators for all POs in our system that were accidentally updated to delivery completed and final invoice by the user.
    Points will be rewared.

what i did now is to create a prototype program like the one below:
    CONSTANTS c_po TYPE bapimepoheader-po_number VALUE '0040001816'.
    DATA: t_poitem-po TYPE bapimepoheader-po_number,
t_return TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapiret2,
t_poitem TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapimepoitem,
t_poitemx TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapimepoitemx,
          x_return TYPE bapiret2,
          x_poitem TYPE bapimepoitem,
          x_poitemx TYPE bapimepoitemx.
    t_poitem-po = c_po.
    x_poitem-no_more_gr = 'X'.
    x_poitemx-no_more_gr = 'X'.
    x_poitem-final_inv = 'X'.
    x_poitemx-final_inv = 'X'.
    x_poitem-po_item = c_po.
    x_poitemx-po_item = c_po.
    APPEND x_poitem TO t_poitem.
    APPEND x_poitemx TO t_poitemx.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_PO_CHANGE'
      EXPORTING
        purchaseorder  = t_poitem-po
        no_messaging   = 'X'
        no_message_req = 'X'
      TABLES
        return         = t_return
        poitem         = t_poitem
        poitemx        = t_poitemx.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'
        EXPORTING
          wait = 'X'.
    ENDIF.
The program is working if you will mark the PO as delivery completed and final invoice with suppressed output. The problem is i need to do the reverse which is to unmark. I replaced the value of no_more_gr and final_inv from 'X' to space but it is not working.

  • Delivery Complete for Framework Order

    Hi Everyone,
My users use transaction ME2L and ME2M to figure out their month-end accruals.  With standard purchase orders, the option to tick "Delivery completed" field is available within the Delivery tab within the Item detail section of the PO.  With a framework po, there is no option available to use other than "Final invoice" within the Invoice tab of the item detail section of the PO.  Is this just a config issue that I need to unhide and make available.  The end result of all of this is to ensure that when running ME2L or ME2M is not to have these purchase orders appear.

    Hi Pavan,
So if I have this right, the users need to run 2 separate reports in order to figure out their open PO's, 1 for standard orders (either ME2L or ME2M) and 1 for framework orders (ME2N)?  Seems tedious in that they would need to deipher which purchase orders to review with a particular tcode.
What if I for a FO, were to "block" the item?  I noticed that doing so, my "Still to deliver" status becomes 0.  Does this have a financial effect or would this assist the users with being able to simply run ME2N with dynamic selections as follows:
    Purchase Document Item:
    <> X Delivery Completed
    <> X Final Invoice
Would this work or would this only provide me PO's that are not marked as completed AND final invoice?
    Thanks,
    Pete

  • Service PO Delivery complete indicator

    Hello Experts,
I am new in SAP MM. I have one doubt regarding service po. If I have done total service entry sheet those service po qty have, then how i will recognize that Service PO againest service has been completly done. There is no any delivery complete indicator in delivery tab, also not ant service entry sheet.
    Nilesh

    Hi
you can set the delivery complete for a service PO by selecting Set final entry (CTRL + F5) while creating a service entry sheet( ML81N).
Once you select Set final entry you cannot post any service entry against this PO and this cannot be reversed.
