Device Mgr. Showed Monitor,MS Installer Errors, Photosmart C-20 Camera/Scanner, pre-Win95?

Question

Device Manager had an exclamation point on yellow bkgr for  MONITOR.  Investigation showed 1187 Error Views, all  apparently  MS Installer  errors,  and  somewhere I saw something about problems if  later than Win 95, so some things must not have been updated  with newer models.  It says "Contact Vendor", which is HP. 
I  want  to  just  UNINSTALL  the fragment (?) of Photosmart  C-20 digital camera/scanner  that evidently did install, DON'T  NEED  IT  ANYWAY    and  seems to be  obstructing my  1310 Series (two All-in-Ones) copier/scanner. 
 Currently my 1310 Series All-in-One  prints, but doesn't  copy or scan, from the printer control panel,  since  trying to add the C-20 camera/scanner.   My  System Restore  doesn't  go  as far back  as when I  tried to install  this  digital camera,  so  how  do  I   just  get  rid  of   it  and  get  back  to  normal?   Would  I  need  to  also  reinstall  .NET framework 2.0,  and  my  whole   All-in-One?     No problem,  have  disk.   Thanks in advance.   10-19-12

My computer  is a  2002 Compaq Presario, not a pre-95, XP Home,   and  sure, I'll  share  again  how the problem was solved in case anyone  looking for it  missed  it.     
I have no idea  how  the WRONG  MODEL  SOFTWARE  got  downloaded ,  during  the  time  period  when  .NETframeworks  were  being  updated,   but  someone  at  CNET  XP forum was actually the first to give me a  link  to  clean  out  all components of  the  WRONG SOFTWARE,  a/k/a   a "scrubber".  I'm keeping the Icon on my desktop  in  case  this ever happens again. 
Running the  HP  removal  program   was  much  easier  than  you  would have thought from the instructions,  to  run  and then  reinstall  each of   "4 stages".   I  simply  had  to  click FILE, and a long list  of components came  up  which  could  all  be  deleted  with one simple click!   Including  the  four  steps,  which were at the bottom of the list. 
Then   I  decided to   clean  the permanent  Contacts  on the  1310 Series  All-in-One printer,  had  been  using  brand new  cartridges  but  was always getting a popup that the color cartridge was incorrectly  installed.   The  contacts  just  had  some  ink buildup  so that it wasn't being  read or recognized   correctly.   So, I   reinstalled  the  correct  software  from my disk  instead  of a  new  download, in case  there  might have been some error still  in that process.   The  red blinking cartridge  light  went  off,  and the copier and scanner  started  working  again.   I'm so happy.  Love this printer.  Once  I  received that link, it was all very  simple.  Hope  this  helps  someone  else.   And that we elect the right President  today.  Probably  working  people  need  to  be  at  the  voting  place  first, so I'll wait a little while.  Everyone have a  good  day.
