Did Talk21 upgrade to Premium, but still shows as ...

Followed the upgrade process to Premium mail to save my Talk21 account from being lost. Placed an order and received confirmation mail that my order was "done" and I could now login to Premium mail. When I login to my email account at BT.com, it is still showing as Basic Mail. I cannot activate my new BT ID as I do not have a customer account number - there was a link to request this by post, so have done that. I do already have a BT account against my landline, but reading posts elsewhere here, it does not appear possible to link the account for mail to the landline account.
So, how to proceed? I just want to ensure my Talk21 email account is now "protected"....

The BT is in shambles and nobody knows what is going on.  The termination of the email system and upgrading of non-broadband email accounts have taken everybody by surprise and now they are trying to find a way out.
I know people whose account has been upgraded when they didn't even ask for it!  Now how do you explain this?  I won't name names because they don't want their account to be terminated on 16th September.  When I heard this, the first thing I asked them is to check their credit card just in case there is a phantom charge.  They tell me they are pretty sure they haven't given their credit account details to BT.  In the 1990s, BT were using credit card payments system but they are quite sure that credit card account is closed now.

    I have just added a New Episode to my Podcast ( using Garageband & iWeb, just like before ), at the same time I updated the 'Cover Art'. More glossy, attractive and original image and corrected the category, from just Education to Higher Education.
    This has now passed the 'iTunes' inspection ( the new episode ) and has been included into my iTunes Podcast. Here is the problem, even though I 'UPDATED' everything, "Cover Art & Category", iTunes are still showing my OLD Cover Art and the wrong Category. Why !!!
    I thought that when you added a new Episode or somehing and had made changes to the whole thing ( Podcast ) that it was changed ( updated ).
    Am I missing something, or is it that iTunes have 'missed' something.
    I do hope that someone can help and lead me in the right direction.
    Oh one more thing, I have used the '&' yet I get the '&amp' on my Podcast, yet I have seen on other Podcast's the '&' without the 'amp'. Any reason why mine is different ?

    Someone else posted about this. Actually, this is the reason why I am searching on here. I have the same exact problem. Mine has not been upgraded yet. But someone else suggested, when you change the image in your feed XML file, try renaming the picture first. It helped someone else. I guess when iTunes searched for a different file name is was finally able to change the image (which seems to be in a cache somewhere in iTunes, even though you host the files).
    It didnt work for me though. If you figure it out, let me know.

  • My iPhone shows 1.0GB of memory used by Mail.  I've emptied all mailboxes and folders but still show 1.0 GB

    After upgrading to iOS7, I noted my iPhone 5 shows 1.0GB for Mail in the Usage list.  I've cleaned out all mailboxes and folders but still show the Mail app as using 1.0 GB.  Am I missing something?

    In any case, I'm posting this to help others.  I can't say with certainty what fixed this for me, but my hunch is that deleting (and then re-adding) the iCloud account on BOTH my iPhone and iPad had something to do with it.  Or maybe it was launching/syncing via Mail.app, and/or giving it some time.  Or maybe those prayers had something to do with it after all. 
    The funniest part about all of this is that my whole iPhone backup (with small Camera Roll) takes up 3.6 GB and my whole iPad backup (with even smaller Camera Roll) takes up 1.4 GB... so I'm still right up against that 5 GB quota, and will still end up paying $20/year for the extra 10 GB of space anyway.  If only for elbow room, and if only for peace of mind.
    So there ya have it.

    You see a closed lens or black screen
    If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
    Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
    Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
    Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
    If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping the camera swap icon . If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

    Check the Recently Deleted album. Deleted photos will reside there for up to 30 days. This allows all those people who accidently delete photos to recover them, something they couldn't do before. To actually free up the space you might have to delete the photos in the Recently Deleted album.

    We are works on the Server(Linux). There ara many pictures and Text Files  (tif, jpeg, rtf, doc, txt etc.) in server folders.
         On the 2 iMac (Mountain Lion)
              Text files in the folder have viewed normal(optimum) time. But Pictures in the folder have viewed very slow and very long time.Because showing pictures icon (show icon preview) very slow on the Mountain Lion. We tried List View/ColumnView.We have waited very long time(for pictures in the folder) when we selected a folder every time.
              We unchecked show icon preview but still showed icon previews, icon preview (thumbnail) can not disable, We tried "Finder preferences", "View > Show View Options > Show icon preview(unchecked)" and  "Show icon column(unchecked)" but still "Show icon preview(checked)" and  "Show icon column(checked)"

    Good news: I found a solution.
    Start iTunes, remove all your voice memos from your library (back them up if you need them), quit iTunes. Restart Finder. Done. I hope that helps!

    I HIGHLY suggest He create a new AppleID for himself.
    He can do it now then simply use the new AppleID when he gets the iPhone.
    Best suggsetion its to have a computer login for him wtih is own iTunes and then he will have his own contacts, calendars and all other data.
    He can do that now & set up iCloud then when he gets the phone, he can simply enter his AppleID and its done.
