whenever you are making your transation it will get update through tranding partner Group account number and with alternative account number.

Hi,
the two methods calculate the rate in two ways (directly & inversely).
In direct quotation, one unit of the foreign currency is converted into equivalent value units of your local currency. whereas in indirect quotation, one unit of your currency is converted to units of foreign currency.

Quota Deduction

I got struck up with the below issue:
For Medical Leave absence system should consider leaves including weekly off except holidays.
For Ex: EE has taken medical leave from (Fri - Mon). Sat & Sun (weekly off).
Now according to my requirement system should calculate in the below manner:
Absence Days: 2 Days
Calendar Days: 4 Days
Quota Used: 4 Days
No time evaluation and no rules. Direct quota deductions is the concept.

Sorry for replying you late.
As u have mentioned I have followed all these steps but the counting rule is not working for Public holidays e.g 26th January. I have created the Holiday calender also
1. in Conditions for Current Day, all days are ticked
2. in Holiday Class, Not a Public holiday is ticked, and any holiday classes you're using for Bank Holidays are unticked (at least class 1). I have not tick Holiday Class 1
3. All day types are ticked uncheck day type1 based on ur requirement
4. All counting classes are ticked
5. All daily work schedule classes are ticked

Direct and Indirect Rates

Hi Guru's,
Can i know the difficulties in switching from direct to indirect rates.
Currently in SAP we are inputting direct rates (eg .89694) for the conversion from USD to CAD. This is causing FX issues when it comes to interco invoice processing as well as completing the Management report. I would like SAP to switch to using the indirect rate (eg 1.1149).

Well, I have this wonderful SAP-documentation:
     All R/3 applications and functions process exchange rates using the direct quotation as well as the indirect quotation. Whether the exchange rate is defined or communicated using the direct or indirect method of quotation depends on the market standard or the individual business transaction. The use of indirect quotation is neither application nor country-specific - it affects all the components in which exchange rates are used.
     The direct quotation is also known as the price notation: The currency value is expressed in the local currency per unit of foreign currency. The indirect quotation is also known as the volume notation: The currency value is expressed in units of the foreign currency per unit of the local currency. Example:
     local currency: EUR, foreign currency: USD
     direct quotation: 1 USD = 0.92000EUR
One unit of foreign currency USD costs the displayed number of units of local currency
     indirect quotation: 1 EUR = 1.08696 USD
For one unit of the local currency EUR you will receive the displayed number of units of the foreign currency.
     For each currency pair you can define either the direct quotation or the indirect quotation as the standard notation for the exchange rate. If the exchange rate you enter does not have the same quotation as the standard quotation set up here, the exchange rate is highlighted to show this.
From a mathematical point of view, it does not make any difference, you only need to be consistent. You cannot have one exchange rate as direct, another one as indirect quote. This will lead to hilarious figures in documents where you have items in local and different foreign currencies.
The numerical issue is that you may gain more reliability for certain rates where you will lose a significant digit depending on direct/indirect. It was quite different to do a direct quote of the Italian Lira against the Euro as compared to the indirect quote. However, there are additional settings that help circumvent this problem.
Hope this helps. Just remember: The main thing is to be consistent.

Forex Qs: ob08 How do the Indir Quot and Dir Quot work?

I have 3 currencies, said IDR (Local currency), HKD (Doc currency), and CHF (Group currency)
How to read these currencies in the ob08?
I key in HKD100, and I get 114,460 IDR and 15.03 CHF, and I check document, and found that the exrate for HKD/IDR is /0.87365.
Could anyone guide me how to read the ob08, and How do the Indir Quot and Dir Quot work? How can system generate HKD/IDR: -> /0.87365.

First let us understand what the direct quote and Indirect quote is.
Direct quote means when one unit of Foreing currency if translated result into how many units of local currency.
Local currency is the company code currency what u would have defined for your company.
In your case it looks like IDR is the local currency. So all other currency u enter in the system is treated as Foreign currency. So HKD is foreign currency.
Direct Quote: One unit oh HKD is equal to 0.87365
When you are posting a document either u can give your exchange rate if it is available or else system will apply the average rate(Rate typeM) stored in the table(OB08)
In your example it appears system wold habe taken the rate from the exchange rate table.
Then the indirect quotation is how many unit of local currency u will get for each unit of foreign currency.I IDR=how much HDK it is the reverse of Direct quote.
The concept of Group currency is used if a client is having different company code having different co code currency. Then to consolidate the accounts group currency comes in to picture.

The problem is that i need to embed fonts, by this fontFamily="Arial" you can set font name which you want, but if i set font name which is embedded it won't work, like : fontFamily="ttf"

To use embedded fonts in a Flex component, the fontFamily for the component needs to be set to an embedded font that is in the same SWF as the other embedded fonts in the TextFlow. See my blog for more details

Itunes 9.0.3 64bit still not compatible with Windows 7.

Have downloaded 9.0.3 in the hope that it will have fixed the ongoing issue of my ipod classic (80gb) still not being recognised, I am still unale to sync due to my ipod classic not being recognised! It seems that the 64 bit version actually runs as a 32 bit program (checked in task manager) and I assume the 64 bit version is supposed to provide the correct drivers to allow compatibility with 7. This is not the case. I've been on the net for months now trying to find a solution and to date there's nothing out there that works. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know of any fixes? Also, any chance apple can update us on what long term solution is being worked on? Given 9.0.3 was supposed to fix things, there seems to be something going wrong somewhere!

Okay, there's a new version of the BIOS showing up on your downloads page: version 1.25, dated 2010/01/11.
It's worth checking to see if that's your current BIOS version. One word of caution ... Acer is in the habit of threatening that the sky may fall on your head if you dare to upgrade a BIOS version. Direct quote from the relevant page:
"Flashing the wrong BIOS can cause harm to the system. Acer recommends that you should only upgrade your firmware/drivers if you have been instructed to do so by an Acer Customer Care representative. By using these firmware/drivers you agree to accept the possibility of product failure."
I'm not entirely sure how seriously to take that ... but it probably would be best to check with Acer support prior to attempting any BIOS upgrade.

I have many questions, and have had a very frustrating time to get in touch with the correct person.
I have called support twice, both times even though it was a technical question about cloud, they refused to forward my calls and told me there is NO technicall support for Cloud and that I have to place my questions here in the forum.
I am CONTINUALLY told to change my password, 2 and 3 times a week. I am a sysAdmin, my passwords are a MINIMUM of 13 Char/UP/Lower/Number/Special Combo, always have been. They work out to a 100% approval in any algorythm checker. Yes, I was one of the persons who had their password stolen which has caused me a tad bit of inconvenience, but such is life. Is This Normal? I have gone on twitter a few times to verify the emails, I have got them so often.
My "Cloud Sync" Hasn't worked since PhotoShop's Site Closed, I know this beause I stored my 20gigs of files, .ai, and .eps, .psd eveything that I couldn't move to Revel (which btw, I never got a refund for having to purchase the revel account 20gigs, when photoshop was closed, which also was never refunded.)
I actually wasn't too worried about the cloud issue because I only work at home, if I go somewhere else.. work's not going with me

Today, I went and bought a new solid state drive. Brand New Fresh OS, Downloaded Cloud, CC, and of course The Edge Products, which I dearly love btw. Everything seems to be working fine, EXCEPT,
1.) where did CS6 Products Go?
2.) Why after being a Faithful Product User/Cloud Supporter for the Last two years, after going through all the trials and tribulations with Adobe, am I being asked to renew my license for a "One Time Per Year Fee" which is MORE than my monthly amount? ( deal: 599.80; payments at 49.95 per month is 599.40 Go Figure? ) So, I'm being asked to pay the same amount, make it a single payment and get half the software, litterally. Did I miss a paticularly important anouncement?
3.) EVERYONE OF MY IRREPLACABLE FILES IN MY CLOUD ALL MY AI FILES, are gone. Yesterday, it would seem My having the SYNC TURNED OFF was over-ridden by the system (Adobes) and they have upload 'garbage' files, and my original files, the caligraphy files are no longer there. My gorgeous image of a little boy with flowers is no longer there. I PAID ALMOST A GRAND for these files. Stored them on Adobe, because, well, you deal with images, so you're the best right, that's why I bought extra storage on photoshop.com, then was told I would have to move to revel, but not the ai, eps, or pdf and i don't remember about png's. files, so I moved everything to revel (purchased the extra storage there.) AND put everything on the cloud and turned off my file sync. Not everyone is an idiot, maybe something is turned off, there's a reason for it, how dare someone override MY SETTINGS. They could have emailed, called, chat, google chat, irc, or snail mailed me, it's pretty easy to get my attention.
I could just cry.

asked to pay one time instead on monthy, and there's not even a discount and no additional incentive. Lost the ability to work without having to be connected to the internet, which will be delimited here very shortly since I'm on comcast.
and the worst, the very absolutely worst part is this is the SECOND time in a row now, I've had an issue with Adobe that has gone on for over a year while support TELLS ME A PAYING CUSTOMER, that 'gee, sorry, no support for cloud" , "No I can't forward you to a tech" (direct quote) and "The Only support for any cloud issues is the forum"
How can I handle this in the future, my nerves just can't take it anymore. Seriously, I'm just shaking now I'm so upset about this and I really hate writing something like this, or airing issues in public that really should be, imho, private.

Currently my desktop is not connecting at all, Everytime I connect, it's states "We have now logged you out" and requests I login again.
I have of course rebooted,
Gone into taskmanager, killed all the relevant threads, tried again to login through the desktop, no luck, I'll have to uninstall it, make sure the threads are killed, then reboot it and then reinstall it, but I've not had the time to do that.
On another note, and just as a point of reference, myself, personally, I hate these "cloud" file repositories (not to be confused with adobe cloud services which I love) but the file repositories themselves imho, are a blackhole of resource usage when one doesn't/isn't using them,
Is there a way we can use it more of a "ftp" sort of thing, when I want to I can put files there? There is no way to "Download" the repository, no way to download the folders.. only individual files and then it takes I think three different steps before the download starts.. I find this very inhibiting. Just an fyi. for what it's worth.

A Sad Day for Creative Own

Let me start this post off with something positi've. 
I am a long time Creative enthusiast. I have only ever purchased Creative sound cards, and they have all worked great. I also purchased a Zen XTRA 30gb a few years ago, and it still works great (battery life is waning, but that's to be expected at this long). I have never had to contact customer support for *ANYTHING* regarding the soundcards (Li've! 5. Value and Audigy 2 Platinum) or my Zen XTRA 30gb. 
I purchased a Zen Micro on July 27th, and that's where the enthusiasm sto
ps.
I bought a 5gb Zen Micro Black, Refurbished, on Creative's eBay Store. The price was right (at 59.99) and since it was Refurbished, it should have had all the defects the original owner had fixed. Everything seemed gravy. I uploaded my favorite music to it, had no problems and was listening to music within hours. It was perfect, to me, because it was tiny, held all that I needed for my day to day listening "needs". Sounds good eh? I read these forums about all the problems people had with their Zen Micros... and I figured I was lucky. 
...until yesterday. 
(DISCLAIMER: The Zen Micro I am describing has never been mishandled since I have owned it. Never dropped, never jostled, never left in a hot car, or exposed to any sort of pressure/jolt/etc. I can make no claims to the care the previous owner of the player took-- there was a name entered into the player when I took it out of the box which leads me to believe there WAS a previous owner... unless Creative likes to enter random names for you) 
I went out to mow the lawn, like I usually do, and listen to music. Mowing the lawn isn't exactly a "vigorous" activity and doesn't involve any jumping up and down, running, wrestling, or extreme sports. I tried turning on the player, but it didn't turn on. I thought that was funny because I was listening to it the day before, and it still had full battery power when I turned it off. So I plugged it in, because I thought somehow the battery must have died (maybe I had left the alarm function set up). Well, as soon as I plugged it in and moved the power slider, it glowed to life -- sort of -- and showed the battery as being 2/3's charged (remember, it wouldn't turn on by itself). 
So it turned on... but that's all it did. Normally when you turn on the Zen.. it...you know, takes you to the Now Playing screen or the Menu (depending on when you turned it off) right? Well... not in this case. Turning on and glowing is ALL it did. So I unplugged it, took out the battery, put the battery back in, tried turning it on, and I got to the CREATIVE logo, and then it froze again, in the same fashion. Although I noticed that the screen was very dim afterwards and I could barely make out the next screen that was supposed to display ... but it was frozen there. I went through the unplug, unbattery, rebattery method again, and this time went to the recovery menu. I tried doing a Clean Up and a Format, but each time I tried, the process would get to exactly 39% and stop. I'm not sure what is so magic about the number 39, but no matter how many times I tried, 39%, 39%, 39%! 
So I called up Creative tonight at -405-742-6655, explained the problem to the first guy I talked to, and he told me to call -800-998-000 and to select option . So I did. I explained my problem to the guy that answered, and he transferred me to the eBay department. I then explained my problem a third time, and was told to call the -406-742-6655 number, which I actually recited to him, because he didn't know the number. That aside, I called the first number up again, and spoke to someone else, who said I should have been taliing to the eBay guy, but I explained what I had been through already, and she checked on it and decided to "help" me. And by "help", I mean sell. Once I got through explaining the problem (this is the fourth time, if you're counting), and she asked me to hold several times while she "checked what my position was within the warranty". After about 5 minutes of holding, I was told that the repairs for the problems I described would cost $50. I was in shock, since I had only paid $0 more for the player, which I pointed out to her. Not dissuaded, she continued with the point that I (and I am directly quoting now) "should just buy the new Zen Micro player, because [I] will have a warranty again and will get noise cancelling headphones as well." I asked to speak with a manager, and was put in touch with her supervisor (after about 0 more minutes of holding). He was no more helpful than she was, and explained that I was responsible for all repairs, even if it was a manufacturer defect. He also tried to sell me on the "buy a new player and shut up" thing as well. 
Excuse me? I've had this player for not even 4 months, it goes defecti've, and I am told to buy another one? I thought only APPLE did this kind of bait and switch tactic! I can't afford to pay for another player; THAT IS THE REASON I CALLED TO GET IT FIXED! 
Creative's management must have changed between the time I purchased my Zen XTRA and Zen Micro, because I never expected this kind of "it's your problem, not ours; we are not capable of manufacturer and design defects" attitude that I WOULD expect of Apple with their iPods. Let me emphasize that I will *never* buy an Apple iPod; primarily because of the non-replaceable battery and non-standard cables (among other things). HOWEVER, I can certainly say now that I have NO confidence whatsoever in Creative as a manufacturer of digital media players. They have not only abandoned me for a problem that I did not create, but brushed me off as if I should have expected it would happen in the first place. 
I would like to hear other people's experiences about their players and interaction with customer support, because I am absolutely appalled, and without the player I paid $60 for.

Your not the first and certinly not the last to have this issue. It seems that the hard dri've used on the Zen Micro and other players, such as my own, has this problem. The hard dri've is a Seagate ST dri've. And by the looks of it only the 5gb model is affected as I have yet to read of someone with a 4gb or a 6gb Micro with this problem.
If this problem is really that big, we should get a petition started to recall the players with these dri'ves, or offer FREE service to get the faulty dri've replaced. This would be similar to the headphone jack issue which affected soo many players that Creative is now offering free service to repair it.
This hard dri've problem is not just a few dozen or so, it is a BIG percentage of players given the number of posts over the course of almost a year with the Zen Micro and the Dell Pocket DJ which is built by Creative and uses the same 5GB Seagate ST dri've.
But I must say. This problem does NOT affect all 5GB Zen Micro's or Dell Pocket DJ's. Its only some. And it does not matter if your player has been under extreme care or been mishandled. Personally my player has been mishandled and suffers my daily commute to school which involves alot of shaking and other things which has been suggested time and time again not to do with a hard dri've player, such as running, working out, even mowing the lawn. And it has not skipped a beat ever, still works flawlessly just like the first day I got it. So I know first hand it doesn't affect all 5GB Seagate ST dri'ves.

No, this isn?t April st and I kid you not. Creative really does think that people are going to pay money for a driver. Understandably, Creative customers are getting emotional over this. Destroying your reputation over $9.99 ? bad move.
This charging money for drivers game is getting real old. Any company that tries to pull this kind of stunt is underhandedly?double dipping customers. There?s no excuse for it. I for one won?t be buying any more Creative Labs gear until they get the message that providing drivers is a service that customers have already paid for when they bought the hardware in the first place.

Just because a game works in XP does not mean that it has to work in Vista. And this is exactly what ALchemy does; it ?fixes? a problem with games designed for XP or earlier versions of Windows. It has nothing to do with games designed for Vista. Even with ALchemy, there are many games that worked in XP that will never work in Vista.
I am actually surprised that Creative made ALchemy at all. This is really something that the game companies should have come up with because it is really their products that are being ?fixed?. If a game is made specifically for Vista and the game advertises that it uses EAX effects, then Creative won?t have to provide anything but the basic sound driver for that to work.
As far as saying that it is ?pointless semantics?, you?re flat out wrong. The games that ALchemy ?fixes? never made a guarantee that they would provide EAX in Windows Vista and all anyone has to do is point to the system specs on the game box and say ?show me where it says Windows Vista?. Like it or not, it was actually very generous of Creative to provide ALchemy, even if they charge a sundry $0 for it.

Problem with GUI_UPLOAD using excel sheet

Hi,
I am trying to upload excel sheet thru GUI_UPLOAD ... this excel sheet has a header line and 3 line of data. Even if I remove the header line then also the internal while debugging is showing 28 lines of entries with "#" "squares" in some columns ... while in others where data should be there shows all Zeros....
The excel sheet has the following info

Client can no longer see inbox for IMAP

A direct quote from a end user that is using IMAP and outlook.
"yep was working fine when i checked in the morning but i check about 6.30, as i checked it flashed up that the server was in off line mode, my inbox was still there i tried to open a email from naomi but couldn't so shut down and then re booted and tried again and it had all gone.....i must of done something.."
Now the user has an empty inbox on the client - yet webmail login to the server shows the messages. even new messages are no showing up in outlook. Anyone know why?

I am not an Outlook expert, but I would think this is a client problem. Things like local cache come to mind.
What happens if you try from another Outlook client?

I recently updated two of my phones to Note 3's and now I have the worst coverage for phone service I have ever had.

I have been a customer for your coverage for quite a while. Since the upgrade to the Notes for my Wife and I we have continuous dropped calls in our home. We never experienced this before with any of our previous phones. I got rid of all my house phones because I had such dependable service but not any more. What gives with this model phone? We are about ready to leave Verizon. We need a dependable phones. All I get when I call Verizon is that they want to go through all this ** which I did and then they want to replace the phone. I might think that would be a problem except that both my wife and my phone are doing the same thing. Looking at coverage it says I am in the best zone so what can I do?

Unfortunately from my experience not much can be done from our end a clearly big red doesn't support the device. This was a direct quote from a service rep. I was told I am in an area of marginal coverage although I have been a customer for more than 10 years in the same area. I didn't have an issue until the 4.4.2 update. I have replaced sim cards received replacement devices and sent the phone I'm to Samsung for service. None of the above have solved the issue. So we either deal with the issue or upgrade the phone. Big red has been no help at all and it does make you want to change providers. As I was to Verizon just sells the phones and cannot help end user experience very frustrating. I have been dealing with dropped call, missed calls, poor signal, and missed text messages for months.

P35 Neo Combo, boot problem? [FIXED]

** PROBLEM SOLVED - Tech support told we that if there was any way to update the BIOS to version 1.3 then I should do that. I found a way and after that everything have been running smoothly.

When I turned it on for the first time nothing happend, no picture no error sounds although I could see and hear that the computer was on. I turned it off and then on again, nothing, I turned it off and then on again and something happend.
I got a red text message saying that my overclocking attempt was unsuccessful, which I found pretty odd cause this was the first time the computer was on. I have now been informed that it's a fail safe build into the BIOS to prevent a melt down if you overclock it too hard, which is kinda smart. I then had the option to go into the BIOS, so I looked at every setting to see if things were OK and if it was somehow overclocked or had some wrong settings.. Everything looked and still looks alright when I save and exit. When I do save and exit, be it with the settings I think is okay, the fail safe or optimized settings then the screen just goes black.
So now for the 'clearing the CMOS' part When I reset the CMOS with the jumper I can get further than the error message about overclocking. I get two options:
1. To enter BIOS setup to configure the bios.
2. To automatically load some default settings and continue booting.
First I tried option 1, after doing a save and exit the screen went black again, got the overclocking message and had to clear the CMOS one more time.
Then I choose option 2, windows started to load, I got into safe mode and windows started to find all the new hardware and so on. When that was done I was kinda forced to reboot, screen went back and yes you guessed it... I had to clear the CMOS and choose options 2. I got as far as getting into windows and installed some of the stuff from the CD-rom's that came with the motherboard, again I was doomed to reboot and clear the CMOS. Once again option 2 needed to be selected to get the system up and running, and I got as far as to the "Want to activate windows" option, and couldn't do that cause the network card was not installed so I had no internet connectivity. Apparently if windows detect too much hardware being replaced then the activation thing pops up, and I later learned that I can't activate my windows anymore cause I used my activation quota and I have to get a new key
What I learned from my brief time in windows normal mode:
Everything seemed to work nicely, and freaking fast too....swiiing!
2gb of ram was detected, running dual channel and at the desired voltage.
The CPU was running at normal speed and voltage.
All in all everything seemed normal until I rebooted.
The only thing I can conclude is that something goes horribly wrong when I clear the CMOS, load some default settings and then reboot. I have seen that I am able to get into the system with my current hardware, but only after a CMOS clear, so what the heck is wrong, what goes wrong after the reboot?
And this is as far as I can get with my own knowledge of computers :(
So now I hope to go that I can get some help from some of you guys, any thoughts on this or anyone know of such a problem and maybe know a solution?
If I missed some information you guys need to solve this puzzle then just ask.
On a side note, if I somehow get the chance to flash my BIOS to version 1.3 in hope that if will solve my problem, then will it erase my chances to send it in for RMA and get a new board? Do I break any rules by doing that?

usually this is due to the memory settings was set incorrectly (by the BIOS itself). You may need to manually change the memory settings and see if that helps. And, please make sure that your BIOS can support FSB1333 processor like E6750 out of the box. If not, try flashing to the latest BIOS.

I did check if memory/cpu settings were okay and the seem to be on the right defaut setting. I save and exit and the screen just goes black. I forgot to add the motherboard and BIOS versions but they are there now: Mobo: MSI P35-NEO-Combo-F, Intel P35, Ver. 1.0, BIOS ver. 1.2
I don't see how I will be able to flash the bios when I can't get into windows and do it, and there is no way else for me to do it. If it was the case that the BIOS didn't support FSB1333, then I would never have gotten as far as getting into windows and getting the activation message would I?
