Disgusting service center and shop located in St-P...

Two weeks ago I bought E71. During the first week it has following problem - 4 times it was impossiblle to activate menu by the left button on keybord. If I pressed this button the phone was blocked. Only way to fix it was switch off the phone and switch on it again. After the week I went to Nokia shop and service center where I bought E71 (located in St-Petersburg, Zagorodnyi prospekt 28) and told that problem has my E71 and ask to change it, they sad "No" and taken mobile for check, which was going during six days. After it they gave the phone to me and told "it Ok" (they did not give any conclusion of check on paper ), but after two hours it was same problem. On next day I went in this service center again and show them problem and they sad you must give us your phone for check again on 10 days because Maybe the problem not in phone, maybe it in SD card, which i did not gave to service in my first visit because of my contacts on it and manager did not say they need it for check, when he gave this card to me. I think it is very disgusting by point do not give all information and after it make proposal for new checking for such long time, because it means another week or more without the phone, what can stuck all my bussines again. Now, I think, problem will appear again and I just do not believe
authorized service center can help me. My conclusion, it is better, if you stay in Russia, to buy cheep and usual
mobile phone and do not even hope, that authorized shops can provide you good service.

  • Xperia z1: a BAD BAD experience regarding customer care, service center and sony india.

    I have bought a xperia Z1 at 29th march 2014. I was very happy after buying it but after 2 months it becomes a trouble for me. after 2 months of purchasing i found a sensor problem occured in the phone, due to which auto rotate function was not responding. i submitted my mobile and after 7 days i got a new one. but unfortunately my mobile slipped from my pocket and fell down on floor, because of that my mobile phone screen gor a crack. since it was under accidental warranty i submitted my mobile phone to the service centre and they told me that they have sent the application for approval at 21st july. later on 23rd morning i got information from customer care, that my application has ben rejected. again at 23rd july they told me that they have again submitted the application an will revert in 2 days.
    after 2 days i.e. at 25th they told me that there is no answer from sony india head office due to which they are unable to provide me standby. after a long argument with service head at customer care, service centre provided me a stand by, till i was using nokia 1100  . the biggest problem arised yesterday i.e 4th aug, when i called at service centre they told me that there is no approval and same word was on behalf of service center.
    its been more than 15 days and the service center told me that i'll have my mobile after 15 days. now i'm losing my temper , no clear solution is provided to me and still i have no info about the application they have sent. this my message to aware all about the bad services provided to me by (don't know personally i.e service center/customer care/sony india). this is clear warning if i doesn't have my mobile within 7 days, i'm gonna complaint to consumer court.

  • Ipod touch 5th generation under warranty, audio jack showing problems while listening to music. visited the apple service center and they are refusing to replace the model because of minor dents on the sides which aren't even visible. what should i do?

    The dents are extremely minor since my ipod had had a light fall. Is it possible to get the replacement. The service center have refused to replace the model, and they have also terminated the product care without even my permission. Need help with this matter. Have had 3 ipod touch before this one. All with the same audiojack problem. Highly dissatisffied with the product quality and durabilty.

    Agreed, but the dents are extremely minor, its not like the entire case is cracked and its coming off, or the screens broken. It's just a slight chip. And ispite it being so minor they have declined the replacement.

  • What to do - service center broke MBA and refuses to repair

    I brought in a ~1.5 year old MBA (outside of warranty) into an authorized service center for replacement of the hinge. I originally was under the impression that I would be paying out of pocket for this, and needed the repair done in a timely manor, which is the reason I brought it to this service center and not an Apple location. I was told the issue was a known defect and that the hinge would be replaced free of charge. A left the computer overnight and had the computer was available for pickup the next day. I brought the laptop home, turned it on, and noticed there was no sound. While the computer would play the boot chime, it thought there was constantly a headphone plugged in, and would not play any sound using built in speaker (headphones did work).
    I brought the computer back and explained the issue to them. I explicitly asked the tech if there is anything I could have done to have caused this issue, to which he replied that it was "definitely entirely his fault." They replaced a few minor parts over the course of a week and a half (sound board, connectors, etc) but the problem persisted. After a lengthy wait (they had to talk to Apple tech) they said that I would be forced to send the computer into Apple and have them complete the work. The price would most likely run $300, of which I would be responsible for. They claimed that the issue was "most likely not caused" by them.
    Aside from taking them to court, what are my other options? I have reinstalled the OS (both from original DVD and Snow Leopard disk) with no change in problem. I do use sound quite often, and not having it available to use is beginning to become a relatively major issue.

    Please please call Apple care. Since you took the computer in for service at an Apple Authorized Repair center and they fixed it for free which means Apple paid for it. This also Qualifies you for 90 day extension on the warranty. Trust me I've been through this before also. If you don't like the repair centers way of doing business tell Apple you want to send it in to them for the repair they will send you a box and you send it off to the. This repair should not cost you anything and should be covered under the 90 day extension. You may have to put up a fight but remember you left a repair shop with one problem fixed when they caused another.

  • Sony Xperia Z1 Water Resistivity false advertising and poor service from service center

    I have bought Sony Xperia Z1 from eBay on 31 October 2013. I have been using this phone for nearly a year. The phone was good in performance but comes to water resistivity it will resist water for a few months but after few months even though the card slot and all flops are closed, the water gets in.I have faced this on 7th September when i was about to take a photo in pool, the water gets in and the phone was dead. And i took it to the service center ( Repair and Return Technology (I) Pvt Ltd) Egmore, chennai, on 9th September 2014. On 15th September i got a call that i have to pay nearly 20000 to rectify the phone. Then i called the service center and also sent mail to [email protected] and said that i was not satisfied with the reply. Then few days i again got mail like below

    They just mention the flags turn red and so the water has got in. They were unable to explain how the water got in. I have seen several forums that many users facing this kind of issues even all the flaps are closed. I was completely stressed and depressed to hear this. I halfheartedly asked the service center to do the service on 1 October 2014. Today's date is 11 October 2014 but still now i haven't heard any update from SONY. When i asked SONY customer care or service center, they dont even know the status of the product, they saying that the phone has been given for service to next level, I have to wait for few days, But i have been waiting for 1 month. I was completely fed up with Sony Service as they are not even called me once regarding this. I have to call each and every time and not even get proper reply. Its very irritating.
    If SONY is viewing this do necessary action or else you'll lose a premium customer and more customers in future.
    Even though i got the phone how can i use this phone in water ? I completely lost trust in SONY and never buy any SONY product again. I'll go for Micromax next time.

    Beware of buying Xperia Water resistant products as it may not guarantee waterproof and they don't even give warranty if your phone got water.

    I have had the same problem I have wrote to customer services and I keeping the same reply, that the phone has to be less than 1.5 meters, less than half an hour....... blah blah blah.
    My phone failed in water and I had met all the conditions but they keep fobbing me off I have asked why they advertise the phone as waterproof when obviously its not.  The last reply I got was well it might not be waterproof.
    Absolute rubbish the phone and the customer service.  and dont get me started on the smartwatch that failed in water as well it never worked I threw it in the bin.
    Aviod sony products absolute junk I say.

  • My 9220 restarts and switch off itself and service center can't fix it.

    I'm in need of help. My BB frequently turns off by itself, even if there are no applications running. I tried to restart it by pressing the power button, but that never worked. I had to hard restart it by taking off the battery and then putting it back on again. I need to do this around 2 or 3 times (only once if i'm lucky) to get it to turn back on. The frustrating part is when it shuts itself down again only a couple minutes after I had managed to turn it on again.
    I took it to service center and there they collected it but since last 1.5 Months i am trying to get my phone but they say that we didn't fixed it.
    Please help me.

    Without the device in your hands, it's rather useless to have advice since you cannot carry it out. But, since you desire it, here are some things you can try. I do not know which, if any, will work for your situation.
    I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
    KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
    It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
    If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
    But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.
    You may also need the use of these tricks:

    On the chance that your battery may be causal, please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
    With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
    Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
    Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
    It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
    Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
    Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
    The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

    long since I like the models and items sony. from start playstation, cameras, camcorders up, I've ever had. and a new camera that I bought two years ie compact cameras Sony Cybershot DSC H200. as of a month ago, a camera was having problems in lenses that would not close. and setting the automatic mode to move by itself. I came to the Sony Service Center in Makassar, precisely on Jl. Shop Pengayomann A5 / 05 (0411) 442340.
    operator initially said only two weeks to work on my camera. but this week has been more dau even want to go in a month tomorrow, dated July 9, no news from the service center. and I kept the call to the office service. as well as assorted reasons. there are no spare parts or technical constraints, and the last one I call to his office, he said the factory spare part is damaged. imported directly from Singapore. I think, ko new spare part it can be damaged before using that? how the quality of this Sony spare part? ugly? not good? why?
    I was disappointed with this situation, where soon it will Eid, want to return home as well to Java. but the camera has not been settled workmanship?
    nah, roughly what is the solution of the Sony plagued with this problem? please help, because he did not know to whom to complain. operator had just said: it's up to the father alone.

    i m feeling like a fool after buying a blackberry curve 9220 white handheld from snapdeal. i received the phone in the last week of april'13 and on 31st may'13 my phone got dead. i submitted to the service centre in ahmedabad @ mithakali on 3rd june'13(WORK ORDER NO. - (personal info removed)223). i have been told that it needs to be sent to bangalore and will be back in aroung 15-20 days. still i have not received my phone. no one from blackberry is responding to me. from service centre ms. shweta told me that it will take one week - the same reply since last two weeks. mr. chintan has cooperated well on the no.((prsonal info removed)70). mr. chintan said that this service centre does not belongs to him so he has given me one more contact no. of mr. pravin - (personal info removed).
    i m trying to get connect to this no. since last two days. this no. is either busy or not getting replied. i tried this no. in last two days for more than 50 times atleast. today mr. chintan has given me one more no. of mr. prashant ((personal info removed)13). he asked me for the WO no. and told me that some one will get back to me. i got a call from mithakali service centre and same reply - one more week. now mr. prashant is also not replying my phone. i m really not understanding a phone like blackberry which i hardly used for 4 weeks is lying with service centre since almost last four weeks. now in no way this phone is acceptable to me. now this long message is my last hope. i hope to recieve at least a reply as this is the longest message i have ever drafted in my life and that too for a bloody phone like blackberry. black service and black associates.

    As a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. BlackBerry provides zero front line support to end users, including warranty...all support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.
    So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums. Rather, it is through your service center and/or place of purchase...even if they may have so far been unhelpful. You have no free path by which to bypass them, and should be escalating to their management levels.
    There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the initial question, since you are bypassing the contract you signed upon purchase. If you wish to investigate that, you can review it here:

  • Itunes showes to contact service center why?

    my phone shows to connect to itunes and when i do itunes showes to contact service center and or take it in. i tried restoring and even after doing so still same massege.

    Because i thought the first question i asked may have been a little vague - the answer i received didnt really tell me WHY itunes needs to contact apple during a sync or to recognise my ipod, do you know why?

    I am facing this issue for a second time with the staffs around there everytime i took my laptop to service there. It's not only me who is facing the problem
    when i took my laptop to the service center there is another old man who faced issues with the people. I believe there should be action taken against
    not so customer friendly behavior exhibited. The below are the issues i faced
    (Issue backdrop: I had reported a problem of keyboard not working and they found out it has no issues and then replaced the heat sink)
    1. I gave the laptop on November 8. and they told me it will be ready before diwali. but i got the laptop only on November 27 just to replace the heat sink.
    I was not even given the Heat sink purchased bill and warranty- just the receipt of Maha electronics was given to me
    2.The people didnt inform the status of the service (i was charged Rs.1250 for the service charge with no service). Every day i have to call them to ask what
    happened with the laptop.
    3. The person who is attending the phone whenever i ask for the status doesnt even know what the status, everytime i am getting different response by the
    people who is attending. Day five i was told laptop is ready. Day six i was told laptop is not ready like that.
    4. Finally after repeated attempts they told the laptop is ready. I was on the way to procure my laptop. I called the Service center that i forgot the slip
    is it okie to get the laptop. The caller attended told you can get the laptop for non warranty. no need for bill. I repeatedly asked i dint have the
    service ball. its non warranty. Is it okie to come without the bill. He said you can come. But when i reached there. I was treated badly by the staff
    over there. At first, they didnt admit their mistake. After repeated shouting and howling, They accepted and agreed their mistake of miscommunication
    and accepted to deliver the laptop next day home. The pain i faced is tremendous on that day. I have to travel one hour to the nearest service center
    and i left back home empty handed.
    The issue i see repeatedly over all with different customers i interacted is prevailing and degrading the HP market. In 2008, I brought this laptop.
    I told my brother to get a HP laptop in 2009. But for my sister I prefered Dell. Because over those period i lose confidence with your service. I am
    sorry to say this but, "That is the truth " Dell provides better service when compared to HP now a days.
    Customers are not treated fine at HP service center. Steps that i see if i were a Head of HP service center and i would have implemented the below
    1. Daily send the status message of the service to keep the customer informed via SMS
    2. When there is an important update, The service engineer would have inform the customer service representative to inform the customer.
    3. Home delivery or Home pick up option for the laptop would add value to the customer service.
    4. Create HP owned service center in Chennai. Any Small Buidling in SEZ would give the value and combining the Home pick up and delivery option would help HP enhancing the market in the Laptop service sector.
    Hoping to see a change from the Service front from HP and i am expecting a reply from HP officials as an acknowledgement.

  • I have been using apple iphone five s from du and it has some problem i have given it to the service center but they said your phone is locked by apple and i have given one week for result its one week already no response from apple which make me disgusti

    i have been using apple iphone five s since five month i am happy with it but recently my iphone have some problem with its ear pices then i went to apple service center in abu dhabi
    they took my phone for one day and tell me come for next day all will be okey
    when i went to next day they say that your iclould account has been locked by apple so you need to wait for one week time
    i have already a week and now when i went to meet them today they said just wait till apple reply to them and they are still waiting for that
    what the disgusting situation can any one wait to have their phone for fifteen days in this world
    such a well known company might not be given such a poor service
    where can i contact for that please advice me

    Probably will never ever think of buying a locked phone from AT&T cause its one of the worst system integrations ever that these companies could think of.
    The entire problem started when I put in a request with at&t to unlock my iphone 4s (ios7) which did get approved. I performed the entire instructions they asked me to do, which is to backup and restore. After doing those instructions my iphone gave me an error message below
    The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
    The SIM card that you currently installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.
    Basically saying that at&t hasn't still unlocked the iphone which a really helpful apple executive was able to confirm. I initiated another unlock process from at&t in order to unlock the iphone, just to be sure that its not something wrong from my end. The nice at&t lady stayed on chat with me to unlock the iphone step my step while I was calling the apple tech too. And the apple tech confirmed again that the iphone is locked to at&t.
    Now, just a few minutes ago I tried another restore to see if any progress is being made and to my surprise I got an error message saying
    Replacement Needed. This iphone is not able to complete the activation process and needs to be replaced. Please visit your nearest apple store or authorized service center.
    I feel like I am just going around these two different "money hogger" companies which set certain rules and regulations to screw a regular phone buyer. I purchased this iphone in USA and trying to unlock in India, is it really this hard to simply unlock a device.
    For now I am going to try to call a apple office in india (apprently we don't have very many out here) and see if they can help me. But any other assistance regarding unlocking an iphone 4s would be helpful. I have however, tried checking IMEI.info, called up apple, talked to at&t (which always say go talk to apple) I do have a case number from apple as well in case an apple executive reads this discussion forum (case number: 566383594)

    You got a confirmation from AT&T that it was authorized. Is this correct? - Yes i did get an email authorization on the 21st.
    Then you connected the phone to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. You clicked on the phone's name in iTunes, then clicked "Backup Now". - Yes
    When that finished you clicked "Restore iPhone" (NOT "Restore Backup") - Yes
    Are you with me so far? - Yes.
    And @ Varjak is right that after the 3rd restore I get the replacement error. 
    Plus I have NEVER jailbroken the iPhone. To give you another update, I spoke to a really nice apple tech in India who was atleast able to get me out of the replacement error by doing a recovery mode option. However, the lastest restore still gives me the same error

  • Today my phone was stolen, so i called my service provider and had my account suspended. then i found it at a pawn shop, so i reactivated it. however, my phone says that it has no SIM and I am unable to send/recieve any messages. how can i fix it?

    Today while I was at work my phone was stolen. After unsuccessfully trying to track down the kids who had it, I called my service provider and asked them to suspend my account. A short time later, I found my phone at a local pawn shop and called to reactivate my phone's service. The woman on the phone said that it should only take a few minutes to reactivate. However, a coworker also told me that whenever a theft gets reported to the service provider, apple puts your phone's serial number on a list that disables yours phone's re-enactment until the service provider confirms that the phone has been found. I'm not sure if this is true, but my phone should have been working a few hours ago, and it still says that there is no SIM everytime I try to send a message. Should I just wait it out or is it more likely to be at the fault of my service provider?

    The SIM question/issue is separate from all of the others.  Your iPhone will not access the cellular newtwork until you install a new SIM.  The current SIM has been deactivated and is now useless.  Get a new SIM, install it (or have it installed), then have your carrier grant the iPhone access to the cellualr network.

    try a reset of iPhone and then a restore,best, as new and if it then functions correctly try restoring with your backup
