Displaying stock and sales orders for aggregated product in Product View

Hello,
We have successfully created an SNP aggregated planning scenario which uses CTM to plan purchase requisitions and planned orders at the aggregated product level.  The disaggregation to the sub-product level is working as well.
We have one issue.
We would like to be able to use the Product View (SAPAPO/RRP3) to view the sales order and stock information for both the aggregated products and the sub-products.
Currently, the sub-products (which are the materials in the stock and sales orders functions in ECC) show the disaggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs, and the sales order and stock information in the Product View.
The aggregated-products (which aren't included in the ECC sales order and stock functions), only show the aggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs.
Is there a Product View configuration which will show the aggregated stock and sales orders in the aggregated product view?
thanks in advance for any comments and/or assistance.
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
The Product view configuration is available under customisation menu under the below path.
spro > sap guide > APO > supply planning > PPDS > settings for order view/product view
Under this, you can configure your customised product view structure.

  • Generating sales order for semifinished product

Hello every one. I am finding difficulty in creating a particular planning scenario. I require to sell a semi finished material which is assigned to a finished material. Finished product strategy is 50. Semi finished has strategy group with main strategy 70 and another strategy 50. While running mrp for finished material everything is running perfectly. But if i generate sales order for semi finished it is generating without errors, but requirements are not generated for the semi finished in MD04. Please provide solution.

    Hi Sayak,
MRP can not generate sales order. It is an element which is being created manually after the customer is giving us PO. Against a sales order planned/production/Purchase order can be created.MRP will create production/procurement element. Not the sales order.
If you want to create sales order for semi material, create it manually(Or create CIR). The availability check should be 2 for the semi. Then it should appear in MD04 screen after putting the semi material in input screen.
Your concept is the semi should be consumed for finished product as well can be sold also.
In that case you have to create sales order separately. If some requirement is generated (PIR etc) internally, then MRP can take care of those requirement. But not the sales order.
If you are talking with sales BOM, that is a different concept.
    Hope I made it clear.

  • How to create service items and sales order for service contracts.

    Hi,
I have created item using Purchased Item template and one more item(service item) using service /warranty program template. Then I have used these items to create sales order with service item in it and closed that order , but Iam not getting this order in service contracts. Is this right way to create sales order for service items. I
    item name:- personal_computer
copied from purchased order template. service is enabled and install base is checked and enable service coverage is enabled.
    item name:- service_item
copied from service /warranty program template
    service is selected to inactive,
    service type: service
    duration: 1 year
    template: Gold
    and saved the item.
Then I have used these two items in sales order for service contracts. But that sales order is not hitting in service contracts. Is there any error with item creation.
    Thanks,

  • Link between process order and sales order for planning strategy 52

    Hello,
I investigate the possibility of a link between "sales order" and "planned order / process order" for the usage of planning strategy 52 (planning w/o final assembly, make to stock).
I know, this is not conform to the basics of planning strategies (EITHER make to order OR make to stock) and I suspect it would be a modification. Of course we have the alternative "make to order" - strategy 50, but we do not want to use individual customer stocks.
Is anybody there with similar customer requirements or project experiences?
    Thanks in advance,
    Joerg

    Hi Jorg,
To my understanding if you need hard pegging then in SAP only Individual requirement is possible.
Or else you need to create a custom transactions/table to identify Sale order and when ever a process order is created by selecting the sale order record, the process order detials should also get updated against that.
You need to take the help of ABAP expert for this,

  • Planned Order for stock and planned order for customer requirement

    Hello everybody
I want to make a different, in MD04,   between the planned order for stock and the planned order created for a customer requirement
    Thank for your help

    Hi,
True planned order are generated for both the cases but the planned order generated for sales order will have sales order number in the below column and for stock will show independent requirement. Mainly no sales order reference will be there for make to stock scenario.
    Hope it will help.

  • Link between Inbound Delivery and Sales Order for Third Party

    Greetings Gurus,
My client is using a third party business model in a retail setting that fulfills sales order via purchase req --> PO --> Inbound delivery with GR posting --> customer billing document created through batch based on the delviery quantity ('G' in item billing relavence) --> vendor invoice reciept happens subsquently.
My question is this, is there an inexpensive (performance wise) way to link the customer billing and the inbound delivery?
Since the inbound is not in the doc flow i don't think VBFA will suffice. I think the best route would be via schedule line back up, but i have yet to find a link.
There are process implications for this link for reporting and customer service which are a critical to the business. Point will be rewarded for sound advice.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Daneil,
Through the document flow VBFA you can capture the PO number and the link for what you have asked can be found from table EKBE. check out for field BELNR.

  • Sales Quote and Sales Order for Service Module.

    Hi All,
I have a scenario with one of the customer where they have a Service Department. The customer is into installation and servicing of Air conditioning systems.
The scenario is as mentioned below:
Customer does the installation of Air Conditioning work and then provides service to the same, if contract mentioned that service is also to be provided by same team. There are also times when the customer quotes only for Servicing of the Air Conditioning in the Projects where the installation is not done by them, but a third party. In such case the customer sends his Sales Quotation for taking up the Servicing of the Air Conditioning (AMC for a year), to be provided to the principle client. If he wins the opportunity then the same will be transferred to Sales Order.
Now in SAP Business One the Service Module starts only with Service Contract and Service Warranty Templates. This is considering that the equipments are delivered by the Contractor him self. This scenario is fine.
But for equipments which are not delivered by the customer, then manual Customer Equipment Card can be prepared and then service contract created to it. But here there is a disconnect between the Quotation that they send to principle and attaching the Sales Order, if the Service Bid is won by Customer. If i need to keep a reference as to which Sales Order was received by Customer from Principle in Service Contract, there is no provision for same.
Is there any way i can do it other than creating a UDF and linking the sales order number to Service Contract and not developing any screens for same?
    Require all your valuable inputs..
    Regards
    Rohan S. Kamble

    Hi Rohan........
There is no such standard field in Service Contract to attach Sales Order. You can create UDF else you can have FMS and map it to remark field.
And when you copy it to service call you can attach the same SO at Activity level or it will be attached automatically as yiu are defining it into the service contract.........

  • Sales order appear in Product view but not available in Livecache

    Dear Gurus,
We have an issue right now wherein there is a sales order with a certain line item that is consuming stock in ATP tab of product view but in Elements tab of the same material, the Sales Order is not seen. Because of this, some orders cannot be confirmed as the stock is not sufficient
We have tried /SAPAPO/OM17, SDRQCR21, and /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL to delete the Sales Order but no Sales Order is being selected.
Kindly let me know if there are other reports or process to be done to delete this inconsistency.
    Thank you in advance,
    Raymond

    Hi
Go to transaction /sapapo/mvm go to the active version and check under ATP whether update fro, atp time series is checked. If not then to do atp check in apo you wud need to delete the active version and recreate it with the required setting.

  • Stock ans sale order stock

    Dear All,
What is difference b/w stock and sale order stock.and what is its impact if i use strategy 40.and what is the movement type to transfer stock to sale order stock

    What is B/W stock?
Strategy 40: Planning with Final assembly.
When you plan the sales order, MRP create receipts and when you do the GR, the stock will posted to to Unrestricted stock. PGI for the Sales order deliveruy is done from the Unrestricted stock. which can be used by any sales order.
The Movement type to transfer the Stock from Unrestricted to sales order stock is 411E.
if you use 20 or 50 startegy depedning on your requirement, the stock directly is posted to the Sales order stock, which cannot be consumed by any other sales order.

  • He material is not displayed as valuated Sale Order Stock

Sale Order has been created and MRP execution is done at MD04.
The Sale Order is released as Production Order.
But when I am executing T Code  MBBS I am getting error message syaing
The material is not displayed as valuated Sale Order Stock.
    Diagnosis
The system has not found any stock that satisfies the selection criteria entered.
    Possible reasons for this are:
The material does not exist. Have you entered the right material number?
Your selection is too restrictive. The system was not able to find any stock that satisfies all selection criteria.
    The stock balance is zero.
    Procedure
Check all the selection criteria you entered.
Stock overview has displayed enough stock for material.
Please adivse me how Material  can be displayed as valuated Sale Order Stock at MBBS.
    Regards

    Hi,
Check whether the Production order execution is done and any GR has been done against the Order.
Once the above is done, check in MBBS, the stock will sit in the Valuated SO stock.
Even wait for any other replies.

  • In the Production Order, Sales Quotation is displayed not the Sales Order

    Hello to All,
I need a kind help from you.
    My scenario is as follows
There is a Configurable Material (Finished Product)
Sales quotation (VA21/2/3) were made for this material.
Sales Order (VA01/2/3) with reference from the Sales Quotation were made for this same material.
Now when I run the MRP (MD02) for this material, Planned Orders were created.
Planned orders were converted to the Production Order.
In the Production Order (say in Display mode), under the 'General' tab, there is a segment called 'Sales order'. In this segment, the sales order is being displayed if the Production Order is created for a sales order (MTO scenario).
But, in my case, the Sales Quotation number is being displayed instead of the Sales order.
My Issue which need your answers:
Is it a standard SAP scenario?? I mean, if the production order is created for a sales order and again if the sales order is created earlier with reference to a sales quotation, then in the production order, the Sales quotation is displayed. Is it a standard?? Or it is showing wrongly? I mean, is it like that, always the sales order should be displayed in the Production order and not the sales quotation??
Please suggest so that I can overcome this problem, if at all it is a problem.
Some More Inputs (For your analysis/research):
    1. After the MRP run of the material the Planned Order is created. I have checked the planned order, and found tha the assignment of sales document (in this case Quotation) is done in the Planned order itslef. It is visible wthin the "Assigmnet" tab of the Planned Order.
    2. For the analysis purpose, I created one stand-alone Sales Order for the same material. I mean, without reference from any Sales Quotation. Then, when I run the MRP (md02), the Planned Order and then production order were created normally, with reference to the Sales order. This just for your kind information.
    3. I have checked the pegged requirement of the Production order in the MD04. It is showing the Sales order itself. But, if I see the production order (CO02/O03), it shows sales quotation.
    User Requirement:
Evenif, the sales order is created with reference to a Sales Quotation, after MRP run, in the Planned and thereby subsequent production order, the Sales Order should display and not the Sales quotation.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Supriyo

    Hi
Since your scenario is configurable material,  the system takes the reference of sales quotation only. Because the in case of configurable materials the sales quotation is the base and based on the sales quotation the sales order is created and subsequent production order.
This is std SAP and for configurable materials the sales quotation is deciding factor

  • Price Determination in Sales Order - for a Standard product & Custom Produc

    Hi,
The price information is not displaying at Item Level in Sales Order for my own product 'SalesProduct1' and to my custom Sales order (z-TA). However, for standard products (Ht-1000, HT-1010, HT-1100 etc.) the price information is getting displayed successfully in z-TA.
Also, in standard sales Order transaction (TA: Sales process). The price information is getting displayed successfully for both Standard products (Ht-1000, HT-1010, HT-1100 etc.) and for my own product (salesproduct1).
Could you please help me out, how to rectify this problem ie. How can I diplay the price information for salesproduct1 in Z-TA?
I tried to duplicate all the information that is there in standard products like category, sales Area etc, except PR00 price condition to my custom salesproduct1. However, in the place of PR00, I have added 0PR0 price condition and price information.
Still the price information is not reflecting in my custom sales order (z-TA) for my salesproduct1.
I also verifed that the SalesAreas are same for BP, Product org, Product price condition, Sales Order org info.
I also checked that BP the Customer pricing procedure is Standard and for Doc. pricing procedure in Z-TA, TA is Standard.
I also confirmed that in price procudere determination there exists a record that mathces with these salesarea, cust pp, doc. pp.

    Hi,
in order to get closer to the root cause of the issue, you might want to make use of the pricing analysis / price trace. Set the user parameter PRC_TRACE = X via transaction SU3. Create an order in SAP GUI and navigate to the item level conditions tab. You should find the button accesses. In the accesses screen you will find details on condition determination and why it failed / succeeded.

  • Requested delivery date in Sales order for internally produced products

    Dear All,
I'm searching for a solution for the following case:
Customer places a sales order for inhouse produced material, there is no stock for that product and no planned receipts, so ATP check does not confirm anything.
A sales person does not know when product can be produced since thats depended on components availability on stock or confirmed dates of future receipts of needed components.
So at the stage when a sales person inputs a sales order he should somehow calculate the requested delivery date.
He can create a production order (without saving it) for requested good and check components availability inside production order, and based on that figure out a valid date, but thats of course is not convenient at all.
He will need to go through all confirmed dates in ATP (in production order) and figure out the latest date when the latest component is available. Then he will get a start date for production order and as a result a date when requested product will be on stock.
All these activities which could be a workaround are not so convenient for sales persons.
I'm curious, is there any official SAP way how to calculate a day for above described case when product will be produced (like simulation of overall chain) and of course much better to have it in background...
Your ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Andrey

    Hi Andrey
I feel this is more of process issue rather than config problem. Whatever market and productline your client is operating in ,there will be some analysis available regarding the time required to replenish a material from the date requirement is generated and this is even if you don't have SAP.
Generally companies have the approximate time entered in  material master  either in GR processing When material is procured  or in planned delivery time When  produced in house.
So you can still maintain approximate time there and configure availability check to check cumulated confirmed quantities.
change VOV8 to propose the delivery date. this way u get delivery proposal for availability check and then still u can block the delivery as Mr.Sai ; has suggested , OR  have your own checks incorporated in user exits in  RV03VFZZ.
The requirement transfer can be blocked and you can use  user status  or  combination of user status and user exit to control the requirement transfer.
For customer specific manufacturing of sales order stock also ,you need to verify strategy group and planning strategy .that should solve problems rather than changing config. into sales.
So i would suggest that have a second look  at PP ,MRP config and material  master data and then check for changes on SD side. also try using delivery proposal.
    Regards
    Mandar
