Dispute case creation from FBL5N

Hi, I am getting following error while trying to create dispute case from FBL5N. Please guide me how can I correct this error. Please also help me with config steps (tcodes) in creating dispute case.

    there are no config steps as far as I understand.
    As said earlier, go to documentation of t-code FDM_AUTO_CREATE and review the piece for bank statement upload.

    We are using SD module to create Billing invoices and Credit Memo's.
    1. Dispute case created for Accounting invoice (Generated from Billing invoice).
    2 Credit memo raised in reference to billing invoice and FI document generated for Credit memo.
    We are in need to add Credit memo to the existing Dispute case in the Billing invoice.
    I have tested this scenario and this is not an standard. Any inputs in this regard is highly appreciated.

  • Dispute Cases on partial Payments

    Hi
    How to create Dispute cases for partial payments?
    I have an invoice. A payment comes and its partial. We dont set up residuals. So on the invoice it says partially paid for some amount. And we want the job to create the dispute for the remaining amount.
    Do i need to define anything new in case record model for this?

    I have an invoice for 1000. No dispute case is created till now.
    I made a pyment for it for 500.
    And now If I run FDM_AUTO_CREATE what is my selection criteria to select this invoice for dispute case creation.
    We want to schedule a job everyday to pick up all invoices that are partial paid and we want to create cases for them.
    Can it be done in FDM_SUTO_CREATE?
    If it can be done then how the program knows which invoices has partial payments and how does it change the disputed amount to invoice amount minus partial payment?
    I know how to do it manually by selecting both debit and credit item in FBL5N to create the case.
    I also know that when case is created and if a payment is made partially it reflects the case disputed amount.
    I just want to know if FDM_AUTO_CREATE can be used to to create cases on invoices that are partially paid.
    If it can then how?

    Is it possible to attach docs while creating a new dispute case manually at FBL5N? I mean attach the documents during the creation and not later?

    As with accounting documents there is an icon on the top left hand corner of the screen called "Services for object".
    This is to the left of where it says "Case Display"
    The other option is to add the attachment as a linked object
    In the other object folder, there is a node called "other objects".
    If you right click this, select document and attach the relevant document.
    You also need to make sure you have defined the type of document that can be attached via this method in config,

  • Dispute Case Delta load

    Hi
    I am working on Dispute Management area. My requirement is to get all Dispute case attributes from SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR and UDMCASEATTR00 tables in ECC. I found two BI content extractors 0CSM_CASE_ATTR and 0DPM_DCAS_ATTR. These are delta enabled.
    Issue: If Dispute case is modified multiple times in a day I am getting single record in the delta i.e. last change during the day. But I want to capture all the deltas into BI i.e. time to time changes during that day.
    Is there any way to get all the changes to BI?

    hi,
    is that your require ment that you would need all the changes that had happened for a particular dispute.
    if yes then you need create a generic data source based on the tables involved.
    normally if a dispute has been raised by a customer and we would only be intrested in the final closing of the sttaus at the end of the day whether its closed open etc...
    sap has delivered the extractor based on this and you will standard busssiness contenet avialble under 0dpm in BI and standard queries.

    Yes, BADI fdm_user_screen has to be used.
    1 method GET_CREATE_SCREEN to define the screen with the new attribute/s
    2 method CREATE_SCREEN_PBO to define the logic tht u want to get processed before the screen is up for display, (possibly pre-population of the attribute/s)
    3 method CREATE_SCREEN_PAI for logic after the user has entered value in the attribute/s

  • Reason Code automatically defaulted in dispute created from FBL5N

    Hi Guys,
    Your help would be greatly appreciated here.
    We have a situation where ONLY for document type RV (Billing transfer), the reason code is defaulted to "AA" awaiting audit. This happens when I select a particular customer invoice from FBL5N and create a dispute from there. While creation of dispute, it does not ask me for any reason code entry and is not even there as an input field, but when I save this dispute and view it in the corresponding FI document, the reason code gets populated as AA in additional information tab of financial document.
    We want to change this reason code from AA to DI but we dont seem to find where to change this.
    I have revisited every possible configuration for dispute management and even checked "Define Default Values" in dispute management and we have not mentioned AA as default value anywhere. But we are not able to find it. Note: This is happening only for document type RV and for other doc types no reason code gets updated.
    Is there any configuration which I might have missed?

    Hi Mark,
    I was hoping you would respond to this considering your experience in this. I have checked for substitutions already but there is no such substitution which exists. Our technical team is trying to find out if it is hardcoded but they have not had any clue so far. Some routine would hardly be a case because the accounting document is already existing and after this the dispute is being created. i.e. the dispute is not getting created on the SD side nor it is getting created at the time of transfer of docs from SD to FI. It is purely during FI-Dispute link up after SD part is over. However, I will still tell my technical team to look into it.

    Creation of Dispute Case - As per SAP Standard functionaliy we can create the Dispute Case from FPL9/FPE2 and UDM_DISPUTE
    Problem 1 : I am facing a problem to create dispute case from transaction UDM_DISPUTE for RMS ID UDM_FICA_DISPUTE(Error Message: UDM_FICA001 You can only create cases from Account Receivable and Payable) and case type FICA-Dispute Missing Payment.
    Problem 2. Configured intergration with Contract accounting but I can't see any option to create case from FPL9 and FPE1/2/3.

    Have you activated Dispute management in the activity Set up Company codes for contract accounts receivable and payable?
    Have you defined the case types in FICA?

    We currently have a batch jobs running for each, automatic incoming payment and open items.  This was set up in the past and we are trying to determine what the difference is for each of these functions?  Do you need to have the automatic incoming run prior to the open items for residuals and payments on accounts?

    Program RFDM3000 creates dispute cases for residual items arising during automatic incoming payments (account statement, lockbox), during check presentation, or in postprocessing.
    Alternatively, you can use the program to create dispute cases for open receivables items. You can use the selection criteria to restrict the quantity of open items (for example, using the document type and posting key for residual items from incoming payment postings).

    So, as far i understood, after installing EhP2 and activating the business functions:
    - FSCM Functions (FIN_FSCM_CCD)
    - FSCM Integration (FIN_FSCM_INTEGRATION)
    I will be able to remove the a specific invoice from a dispute case.
    Just another question. These business functions seem to be valid also to FSCM-CR (Credit Management) but we don't want to activate the FSCM-CR and we want to continue using FI-AR-CR.
    Does the activation of these business functions also activate the FSCM-CR ? Because that will turn off the FI-AR-CR and we don't want that..

    Check your attribute configuration in FSCM - Dispute Mgmt - Dispute Case Processing - Attribute Profile - Create Attribute Profile.  Select the attribute profile that is assigned to your Case Type and select Assign Attributes.  Look to see if the attribute FIN_RFC_CREATOR is listed twice.
