Document is complete.

Hi,
i have a document type Credit memo Cancel. when i try to post it manually to accounting, it gives me message "Document has  already been Completed", whereas there is no Accounting document generated.

Hi Amol
I suppose you  have cancelled or closed the credit memo sales order itself , that is the reason you are getting the error.
Secondly also check  wheather in VOFA wheather cancellation document type is assigned or not for the credit memo billing document type

    In OSA, the status of the document is completed. But the apporval pro9cess is not triggered and I am not able to use the 'Approced', 'Rejected' or other subsequent statuses. Any idea of how to do it, through workflow or some config settings?
    Also, I have to include the curve-fitting or normalization process in the flow. After the superior gives the final rating, the normalization process takes place at HR level. Based on this, a new Final rating is generated. The status of the document is Approved. Where do I store this Final rating, which column or field.

    Hello Murali,
    Which release of OSA are you using? If release 1.10 then the document can only go into status approved or rejected via the administrator functionality.
    With Extention set 2.00 you can control the statusflow on the template configuration.
    For your normalization question, that is not possible when the document is completed, this because we turn then the document to display only.
    However, when release 2.00 or higher, you can create a sub-status under main status in process. The document goes into this status when the superior gives his final rating. After that only HR has access to the document and can normalize the ratings. Then HR sets the document from status 4.x to 5 (completed).

    We have a one DP document in status "Document Created". The Work item status is In Process.
    This document was created in August 2012 and now we need to mark it as completed.
    The last action on 5th Nov 12 is Work Item started manually.
    Could you please let me know how to mark a document as completed which is in status "Document Created" in SAP IM?

    Can let us know what is the workflow template ID, Standard or Custom? 
    Provide the template ID if it is standard.
    Is there any wait step in the workflow template. which is waiting for some event?
    Is there any end condition defined for the step in the workflow template?
    Check, if any terminating events are mapped to the task-id from PFTC transaction. If exists, then try to raise the event manually from SWUE transaction, if the system is not PROD.
    If there are no terminating events then try to complete the work-item manually from SWIA transaction.

  • Accounting document not complete

    Create a delivery
    Create a invoice
    When I look in document flow and I have done all of the above I see accounting document-not cleared can you confirm that this does not show as complete until a cash posting occurs from the customer?  I am uncertain.

    You are right. The status will show as "cleared" once the payment is received from customer and cleared against the invoice document.

    document? For that you need to create a command that end in
    "_onOpen.htm" like foo_onOpen.htm. You can look at Design

  • Document Showing Completely Grey instead of Actual Document

    I have a user who after the latest update to adobe acrobat is now experiancing a strange issue.  Some of the PDFs she is trying to view are only showing as just flat grey.... as though somone scanned a grey sheet of paper and that is what she is looking at.  I have tried to repair install and uninstall and reinstall to no avail.  If anyone has any incite on this issue, please let me know.

    I had her send me the document and it can be opened in Reader, foxit and within firefox.  same on her machine... can be read in reader and firefox....  This was my first thought, also considering that its not every document.

  • Adding a gutter AFTER document is completed

    Just finished laying out a 90 page book. Not sure how 'gutters' work. I find the 'Defining Columns' section in the Help a bit confusing.
    Could somebody perhaps explain in simpler terms how I install a universal 'gutter' to my entire document (with facing pages)?

  • Released document without complete digital signature

    Hi All!
    I'm working with digital signatures in the DMS system and I have set the release indicator so that two signatures are needed to release a DIR. The problem is that the DIR gets the green release status after saving the first signature. I get the feeling that this is a bug in the system but I have tested it in two systems and it works the same way in both systems (one of them is a ECC6.0 EHP5 system and should have all the relevant updates). The whole idea with digital signatures at the release status is in my head that the DIR does not get released before all stakeholders have signed the DIR. Am I wrong or have I done anything wrong in the config?

    Any specific logic as to why you intend to use two digital signatures to release a DIR?
    Because,in your case,you can fulfill your requirement by using a single digital signature for a DIR.Herein,since there are two bodies involved for releasing a DIR, you may define the 'Signature Sequence' and the 'Release Sequence' in digital signature customization.This will ensure that that document is released/green indicator set only after body A and body B both have digitally signed the DIR in the sequence specified.Does this help?

  • Using win7 and IE I am unable to successfully download an interactive document for completion online

    I use Window 7 and Internet Explorer and Acrobat XI to download an eletter for completion on line. The down is completed but the Acrobat window remains grey and no content is displayed and the window freezes.

    This is not used for completing the Incompletion logs of the Sales Orders.
    This report (T. Code - V_MACO ) checks whether old sales documents could be completed. In this case the the status field MANEK (Manual Completion of Contract) will be set in Table VBUK (Sales Document: Header Status and Administrative Data)

    In our company scenario workflow will be triggered only when document is 'completed'. But some times end users pressing only 'parking'. Then Documents are not comoing into workflow.
    So my requirement is
    1. Whether to Deactivate the 'Save as Parked' from F-65,F5V0,FBV0,MIR7.
    OR
    2.Stopping the user by pressing the 'Save as Parked' by populating error messages through Valiations/Subsitutions/Enhancements.

    you are saying that the workflow will get trigerred only when document is posted.
    Then try to create a new workflow which will get triggerred during parking.

    How can i uninstall Oracle Document Capture completly?
    If i use the "unistall" from setup, if keeps registry keys and files.
    Even if i delete them document capture keeps somewhere settings like the database connection.
    How can i remove Document Capture completly?

    Document capture keeps files in the hidden directories: C:\ProgramData\Document Capture\ and C:\Users\<user>\Oracle\Document Capture\.
    Just delete them.

       For SRM 7.0  system, for purchase Order  what is the signifance of "Transaction Completed"  status ?
    I have completed one purchase Order which has open item.
    At header level it sets "Transaction Completed" status in SRM PO. but neither it set delete indicator nor delivery complete indicator of open PO items . Hence i wonder what is the signifiance of complete functionality of PO in SRM.

    Before SAP SRM SUS documents are archived, they are processed by a check program to determine if they qualify for archiving. This validation procedure prevents documents that still require processing, erroneous documents, and current documents from being archived and subsequently deleted from the database.
    The residence time is a general criterion used to determine when SUS documents are archived. Each document must remain in the system for a certain period of time (the retention period) after it was last changed before it can be archived.
    For more information about setting retention periods, see the Supplier Relationship Management Implementation Guide (IMG):  Supplier Relationship Management  Supplier Self-Services  Cross-Application Basic Settings  Archiving of Documents  Define Residence Times for Documents .
    Note
    Only SUS documents from completed business processes are considered for archiving. Before you can archive documents, you need to complete the business process to which they belong.
    End of the note.
    During the check process, the system also checks the relevant follow-on documents. If these documents have been created and completed, the relevant business transactions are assumed to have been completed. In particular, if a SUS purchase order can be archived, then so can the relevant follow-on documents.
    *The status Transaction Completed is only applicable to SUS purchase orders and indicates that the document flow has been completed.* This means that all necessary documents in the document flow have been created and that, in the SUS EBP scenario, the confirmations and invoices pertaining to the purchase order have also been approved.
    As well as the follow-on documents, the ordered quantity (or the quantity confirmed by the supplier if a purchase order response was requested) and the quantity specified in the follow-on documents must be considered. A purchase order can have one or more follow-on documents for each document type. If the total amount of item values of the follow-on documents does not match the total order value, the process step is not complete. In this case the system does not apply the status Transaction Completed to the original SUS purchase order.
    An exception to this process is when a final delivery indicator has been set for an advanced shipping notification or for the invoice. Only the purchaser can set this indicator, which is used to show that no further delivery or invoice is expected and that this particular process step is completed. This information is only available on the purchaser's side in the purchasing system.
    Example
    A SUS purchase order has one or more advanced shipping notifications (ASN). If the total quantity specified in the ASNs does not match the quantity specified in the purchase order, it implies that some of the goods ordered have not yet been delivered. The delivery process step is therefore not yet completed even though invoices have been created for the existing ASNs.

  • Using XMLDOM to process document in XML DB

    I am new to XML and especially XML DB which I however see as an excellent platform on which to base XML based solutions. I have a specific question and apologise beforehand should any of my assumptions be incorrect.
    I wish to create an application which from a number of XML fragments, together with rules governing the behaviour of the fragments (insertion points, overwrite rules etc) are merged together to finally leave me with a complete and valid XML document in XML DB.
    I thought at first that I could use DBMS_XMLDOM to perform this low level processing required. I have however not managed to understand how this can be used together with XMLDB. I am reluctant to use XMLDOM without XMLDB as I am afraid that I will surpass the limits in XML document size apparently imposed by XMLDOM.
    I see a solution where I create a schema based resource in XML DB containing the initial XML structure and then processing any number of the above mentioned fragments to finaly be left with a complete XML document.
    Can I use XMLDOM to do this or am I barking up the wrong tree?
    I would be grateful for any input on techniques that I can apply to perform elementary search/replace/insert on an XML document which I am, from PLSQL, compiling.

    The size of the documents I want to compose are expected vary from a few Kb to 1 or 2 Gb! In a FAQ found somewhere on OTN there was an entry which mentioned that somebody was having trouble with a 50Mb XML document. The recommendation was to use SAX but I am under the impression that this is more useful when the processing is of a more sequential nature.
    The main thread of my question is to gain clarity in the most suitable technique to use when actualy compsing the XML.
    What I want to do is:
    Create resource (XML document) in XML DB.
    Loop through XML fragments together with rules:
    For each fragment process according to rules and insert
    fragment or update existing XML based on fragment contents.
    At the end of the loop the XML document is complete and ready for further processing.
    XMLDOM seems to give me the tools to do this but I am unsure of how to do this and have XMLDOM work directly against the contents in the resource controlled by XML DB (making use of possible indexes and the scalable nature of XMLDB). I get the feeling that if I simply read the XML from XMLDB resource into a DOM document I am still using the memory based representation of the XML until I write the XML back to XMLDB - is this a correct assumption.
    Alternatively is it the functionality offered by XPath, extract(), updatexml() etc. that I should be looking at?
    Does this make my question more understandable?
