Download of tax conditions to CRM

How to download the tax condition type for the country US from R/3 to CRM.
For example, consider the following entries being maintained in R/3:
CL          App      CnTy               Ctry             Rg                             valid To                     Valid From         CondRecNo
610          V         UTXJ               US                DE                        31-12-9999                   01-01-2005
610          V         UTXJ               US                GA                        31-12-9999                   01-01-2005
What settings needs to be done to download the above table details to CRM.

  • Initial download of taxes from R/3 to CRM

    Hi all,
The system is live for few months and now we had a problem with a download of a customer. The problem was related to incorrect taxes configuration. Now we corrected the taxes mapping between R/3 to CRM in R/3.  The same configurations needs to be present in CRM.
Hence I will use the download object "DNL_CUST_TAX" and download the tax information to CRM.
My basic doubt is when I start an intial download again
    a. will it delete all the tax information and recreate again all the tax information.
    b. or will it modify the existing records and add whichever record missing (step b drawback is, it will not delete the records which were deleted in R/3).
Any idea. Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Jothi

    jothi,
in our case, for some reasons not all taxes configurations where downloaded in the first place. Hence we had to make manual entries in CRM so that the check gave a green light.
Afterwards, we have downloded DNL_CUST_TAX several times and it did not overwrite our manual entries.
This our experience. If you have the chance, I would still suggest that you test this in your on development environment if you have any.
    regards,
    Didier

  • Tax calculation in CRM using R/3 pricing procedure

    Hello Experts
We are using R/3 pricing procedure to calculate list prices in CRM.
The condition record for Taxes are maintained for condition type UTXJ in SD which is calling for tax procedure TAXUSJ and condition type JR1.
The records are maintained in FTXP.  This is the SAP Standard way of maintaining taxes if external tax software is not used.
We have downloaded the condition records and condition types in CRM.  The tables have all the required records downloaded from R/3.
When creating an order in Webshop the tax is not getting calculated.
The pricing analysis shows that the condition record for UTXJ condtion type is met, but it is not showing the tax maintained for condition type JR1.
Have we missed any settings here?
If we are using R/3 billling does the TTE needs to be activated for calculating taxes in the webshop?
If TTE needed to be used for calculating taxes, what are the settings needed to be configured?
Thanks in advance for the valuable advice.

    Hi Sastri,
I am facing this problem with TAX Condition Records: Pricing error: Mandatory condition MWST is missing. I am using a R/3 pricing procedure correctly downloaded to CRM.
You say that you have downloaded the condition records and condition types in CRM. SAP Library says 'Prerrequisites: You have downloaded the tax condition records from SAP ECC'.
I don't know If my problem is caused because I haven't downloaded any Tax Condition Records. The fact is that I cannot determine which one is the Condition Object to download in R3AS.
I would really appreciate if you or anyone could tell me which object you did use.
    thanks in advance,

  • Tax condition records replication from r/3 to CRM.

    Hi,
We are on CRM 5.0 and backend is 4.7. We have downloaded all condition objects from r/3 to crm. When I tried to create an order everything is determined in CRM (R/3 pricing procedure, PR00) but for tax conditions.
Where I can view the condition records downloaded from R/3 in CRM system?
    Thanks in advance.
    Srinivas

    Hi Nitin,
I believe the maintenance of the condition type is done in R/3. If this is the case then in R/3 you can go to the following path
Under SPRO ->SAP Customizing Implementation guide ->Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Pricing Control ->Define Condition Types.
Here for the condition type you wiill maintain the "Condition Class" and  "Calculation Type". Once it is maintained You can trigger DNL_CUST_CNDALL to bring it down to CRM.
you can monitor the trigger that you did using SLG1 transaction.

  • Free Goods Condition table records not getting downloaded from R/3 to CRM

    Hi Friends,
I'm trying to download free goods condition records from R/3 to CRM. i have already downloaded condition techique, procedure, condition type, access sequece.
Now i am tryin to download Free goods condition table for Example: KOTN602 to CRM. I created new condition adapter ZDNL_COND_N602 by coping standared adapter DNL_COND_N010 and changed to table table. now i have the following tables in table section.
    KONDN
    KONDNS
    KOTN602
    TMC1K
No filter has been set as we have only one record in table KOTN602 in R/3.
i had run initial load of this adapter ZDNL_COND_N602 thr R3AS, then I checked in R3AM, the status is canged to Green. but when I checked in CRM table /1CN/CCFCUS602, no data available in this table ( NO download happens).
Can you please suggest what could be the reason and what is missing?
    Thanks
    Bharthi

    Hello Bharti,
Please make sure in txn R3AC5, for you Z* adapter object, under the tab 'Mapping Modules: R/3 to CRM', you just have
    single entry of CND_MAP_MAST_EXCHANGE_MAIN_MBD.
If there are double entries please delete the duplicate.
Also, you can check the logs using txn CND_MAP_LOG_DISPLAY
    Object : COND_EXCHANGE
    Sub-Object: CONDITIONS
Please give the 'From' and 'To' correctly, to get the correct log messages.
This will give you some hint.
    Hope this helps!

  • Downloading BP/Products/Conditions /transaction from R/3 to CRM

Could u pls  tell me the how to Downloading BP/Products/Conditions /transaction from R/3 to CRM
    Business partner mapping
    Thanks in advance
    kumar

    Hi Rahul
As stated above this will happen in case the number is already assigned to a business partner.
    Are you
    1. <u>Reconnecting</u> the CRM system to a  new R/3 and the CRM system has data from an old system?
    2. Has the replication been done before
    3. In case this is a new CRM system and numbers are being generated for the first time check the numbering range. (are the CRM numbers for this BP defined as external if R3 is the leading system?) the numbering ranges should not overlap or this will be a common scenario.

  • Tax Conditions types not appearing in CRM orders and quotations

    Hello All,
I have created a new tax condition type in ECC and through initial load replicate the same to CRM. pricing procedure repliction with new tax condition is also successful.
But, the new tax condition is not appearing in condition tab at item level when i create quotation in CRM. other condition types are coming. data for this condition type is there in custom condition table. mapping of tax classifiction to tax group is also done in SPRO.
    Please advise.

    Hello Sudhir,
You should check the trace log for pricing at first. Set the user parameter:PRC_TRACE as 'X' on T-cd:SU01 for your user and check the Access analysis on the condition tab.

    Hello Sri,
Ideally object DNL_CUST_CNDALL should get all changes done to customizing setting in R/3 to CRM.
Did you check the logs in txn CND_MAP_LOG_DISPLAY in CRM?
You can get some hints there, if any error has occured during the download.

  • Problem with initial download from R/3 to CRM

    Hello All,
Initial we were able to download & replicate all object from CRM to R/3  & vice versa such as product ,BP, sales documents & conditions etc. After that <<removed>> R/3 system was refreshed by Client itself. After refresh, connectivity between R/3 & CRM is disturbed. We have observed that while initial download we are facing problem in SMQ1 & SMQ2. After debugging we found that table entry  i.e. table :- CRMMLSGUID from CRM & CRMPRLS from R/3 have Logical system guid values different( which  should be identical). Because of this no replication is happening between CRM & R/3. How to rectify this?

Edited by: Rob Burbank on Dec 9, 2011 4:37 PM

    Hello,
    see note 588701:
"The queues are deliberately halted since the change of the logical
system name in the R/3 backend or the linking of new R/3 backend clients
to a client of the EBP/CRM Server with the same logical system name as a
client already linked to the R/3 backend would lead to severe data
    inconsistencies in various CRM applications.
For this reason, such changes are not allowed on principle. The halting
of the queues prevents such data inconsistencies. The following
situations may lead to the queues being halted:
o  The logical system of a client of an R/3 Backend system linked to
the EBP/CRM server was changed in current operation.
o  A new client of an R/3 Backend system or a client of a new R/3
Backend system was linked to an existing client of the EBP/CRM
server where the logical system name was already assigned to a
client of an R/3 Backend system linked to the CRM server before.
There are different cases in which different forms of processing are
required or where several options exist:
    -  The logical system name of an R/3 Backend client was changed
in current operation. In this case, the data hangs in the
outbound queues of the R/3 Backend system as specified under
point 1 of the symptom. In this case, the logical system name
                                                                     Seite 2
must be changed back to the original value. Then the outbound
queues can be reactivated. If no data was transferred to the
EBP/CRM server before the change, also a correctioin of the
              check table is possible.
    -  The same logical system name was used again in a new client of
an R/3 Backend system that was linked to the EBP/CRM server.
In this case, the data is in the inbound queue of the EBP/CRM
server with the exception GUID_FOR_LOGSYS_CHANGED. In this
case, the queue entries which have status SYSFAIL must be
rejected, however, not the entire queues. If the new client of
the R/3 Backend system you have linked has exactly the same
data as the old client and if it is meant to replace the old
client (that is, this was deactivated), also a correction of
the check tables is possible. In this case, the inbound queues
can be reactivated after the correction.
The correction of the corresponding check tables or the correct
procecure in individual cases is to be agreed upon with the support of
SAP or SAP consultants at the customer site. In justified cases, SAP can
carry out the correction of the check tables.           "

  • Can anybody help about the conditions in CRM business transaction??

    Hi experts,
I'm fresh on CRM and have several questions regarding the conditions in CRM business transactions.
Can you please help? Thanks in advance.
In prciing procedure,we can determin which condition should be involved in item level,
then, how about the conditions in header level??How and where they can be determind?
how the condition value can be calculated?I think they should be the collection of the conditions of the items.
    Am I right?
    Thanks.

    Hello Jerry
Basically you are right,  at header level you should see the collection of the conditions of the items. However there are also conditions that can be entered at header level ( header conditions). You can see more information about these conditions in SD documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/dd/561760545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm
    See sections:
    Header and item conditions
    Distribution Between Header and Items
In "Distribution Between Header and Items" you can see how HB00 and RB00 condition types work.  If you create your pricing procedure in CRM ( not downloaded from R3) then you can use 0HB0 and 0RB0, which are the CRM counterparts of HB00 and RB00

  • Tax Conditions for Sales and Distribution using Jurisdiction Code in Canada

    Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you a doubt relating taxes for Sales and Distribution in Canada.
The Tax conditions for Sales and Distribution in Canada are the CTX1 (GST - Canada), CTX2 (PST - Canada) and CTX3 (Base + GST). These are the Tax Conditions which appear when creating a Material or a Client for the Canada Region, and are also the ones included in the Canada Standandard Pricing Procedure.
I tried to apply the standard method of creating a Master Record for these conditions, but an error relating the Jurisdiction Code came out while releasing to accounting.
Does anyone one how to procceed? Which are the important issues with Finance Accounting to take in to account?
I would really appreciate any comment relating this issue.
Thank you very much in advanced.
    Víctor

    Dear Mr. Lakshmipathi,
In first place, thank you very much for your quick response.
I have tried many different procedures to get the aim, and among others, a new access sequence was created to allow the introduction of the Jurisdiction Code (UTXJ is not available for Sales Conditions) but once the Condition is created, it is not recognized when creating the Order ("pricing error: Mandatory condition CTX is missing"). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that these conditions are not included in the Finance Accounting Tax Procedure, where the conditions, which represent the same taxes but with different condition names, are defined for a certain Tax Code and Jurisdiction code.
Among the different SAP notes for the error relating the Jurisdiction code, there was one proposing to change the Condition Category from "D" (Taxes) to a value between "1 and 4". By doing this a new error appears while creating the order, saying that there are conditions in the Tax procedure (JRC1, JRC2)which are not included in the Sales Pricing procedure. By including this conditions in the Pricing procedure, the Tax Conditions existing in the Finance Accounting Tax Procedure are brought to the Order Conditions, in addition to the Sales Tax Conditions. And there is something more, each Tax Condition from the Finance Accounting Procedure appears twice, one with the application V (Sales) with value zero, and one with application TX (Taxes) with the value existing in the Finance Accounting Taxes Procedure. This is how at the end, the corresponding %value of the taxes is brought to the Invoice with the correct Tax Code, and the proper Jurisdiction Code, which is different for each condition.
Thank you very much for your time.

  • Find Tax conditions and amounts while creating a PO from reference.

    Hi friends,
I am creating a PO from another reference PO. When I create the PO the Tax conditions and
amounts come from Sabrix 3rd party system. This data gets saved into SAP internal memory and
is visible when we follow PO item-> Invoice Tab->Taxes-->then we can see Tax
conditions and there amounts as well. when we press SAVE button PO gets created and KNUMV
(Condition Number) gets formed and then we can access this Condition types and Amounts data
from KONV table by specifying the Condition number which is the Primary key of KONV table.
But we need to access this data of Condition types and Amounts even before we press SAVe
    button on ME21N screen.
    Please help me on this.

    Hi,
As mentioned that this error was one of the wierdest SAP issues I have faced, it was due to the silliest copy paste errors on my behalf. I completely overlooked the POITEMX naming.
For 4 values of RFQ_NO, RFQ_ITEM, PREQ_NO, PREQ_ITEM, I didnt have the 'X' for POITEMX and kept on looking for errors for days.
BAPI_PO_CREATE1 works with min. possible inputs successfully.
    Thanks to all!

  • Condition value of Tax condition type gets added to Total Value in Contract

    Hi All,
I'm currently investigating an issue where there are 2 line items in an SAP Sales Contract. There is a human error in the second line where the billing end date is less than billing start date in the billing plan.  Consequently, the second line has null Outgoing target value.
However, the header Total value in the Contract  gets wrongly calculated as Basic condition value of 1st line  + Condition value of tax condition type of line one due to this.   When I modify the billing end date for the second line item to be a date greater than the billing start date, the above problem disappears and the total value of the contract does not include the tax component.
    For eg.
    Normal Error free  Contract
Total Value at Header =   700.00 EUR
                       Material          Outgoing Target val
    Item 0010    MAT1               450.00                          ( 450 + 50 (tax )  )
    Item 0020    MAT2               150.00
Contract with billing plan error in second line
Total value at Header =   550.00 EUR
                            MAterial       Outgoing target val
    Item 0010         MAT1             450.00                    ( 450 + 50 (tax ) )
    Item 0020         MAT2              0.00
Any inputs would be most welcome.

    No, i didn't.
Actually, i enter condition type and amount in sales order manually.
At that time my program which i modified at 'Define And Assign Pricing Procedures' in IMG should be run.
But the result of running is different from my purpose.
To change Condition value of condition type in sales order, are there any solution?

  • How to manual maintain TAX condition value while creating sales order

    Hi
I am creating one Tax condition suppose JLST without access sequence .
while creating sales order I am manually maintain the % value of TAX. suppose it is 1%
then I see It show some value in TAX .
save that sales order & creating delivery document for that but when I create Invoice its show error.
" Tax code  in procedure CMTAXP is invalid ".
I know the configuration only for Tax condition with vk11 condition record .
BUT now I want to maintain TAX condition at the time of creating sales order.
so I remove the access sequence of that condition .
but It shows tax code error while billing.
My main question is that If i maintain condition record while creating sales order then how i can assign Tax code .
    Can it is possible ?
    if yes then How?
    please help me.
    thank you

    Hi,
The "straight-forward" answer for Tax Code creation is contact the FI consultant. He shall help you, by creating Tax codes.
I have tested, with creating a tax cond type (copy of MWST) & manually entering values. I can create Sorder, Dlv and Bill but I cannot create an Accounting document. That is because of every line (amount) a Tax code is necessary.
I THINK, you can NOT have manually filled tax codes; access sequence is needed to get the tax value (%) and the Tax code from the condition record.
There is lot of material on the web to understand Tax classification, code etc. etc. See a useful link below -
    http://www.sapgeek.net/2010/04/sd-determines-tax-code/
In short Tax code is a must and take the help of your FI consultant for the configuration of the same.
BTW - Tax code is already made created for MWST, therefore I suggested that you can use MWST. Furthermore, you can change the values corresponding to Tax codes in FTXP.
But if you are a beginner in these things, better take help.
