Drop of In-App Purchase Support in Amazon Marketplaces

Hi,
I have a doubt.
I can´t sell more folios by Amazon Store made with Native App Builder only or with Legacy App (made with DPS App Builder) is the same limitation.
In resume, I just use the Amazon Store to distribute free folios, that´s right? no retail, no subscription (if true, very bad)
Regards

The What's New release notes have been updated to include some more details on what exactly is impacted and why we are making the change:
"Adobe is removing the ability to include Amazon in-app purchases in DPS apps. The option to create a native Android viewer that supports in-app purchases of single issues and subscriptions through Amazon marketplaces was removed from the Web-based DPS App Builder.
This change has no impact on existing apps already published in Amazon marketplaces or to other DPS supported Android marketplaces such as Google Play Store. In addition, customers can still build new apps for the Kindle and Amazon marketplaces without using Amazon in-app purchases. In-app purchases are not used in direct entitlement apps or in most corporate use cases. Adobe is focusing on the devices, marketplaces, and use cases that are most important to DPS customers."

  • Apple in app purchase support for director 12

    Hi,
Does anybody know when director 12 for iOS will support in app purchase? I couldn't find any reference to this, and I have a project that will rely heavily on in-app purchase (free game + paid expansion packs)
    Thanks!
    Carlos

  • HT1933 Incorrect In App Purchase Billing

I am using the itunes store in South Africa. I was charged for an in app purchase incorrectly and the "Report a Problem" function on my email invoice does not work as per the "In app purchase Support" page provided by Itunes.
I purchased a 6 month subscription for the SA Car Magazine and was then charged again for the download of the latest months edition rather than getting it free as part of the subscription. But I cannot report the problem.
Is there a problem with the "Report A problem" functionality in SA?

Purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions, and you can also require your password to be entered for every download (the default is a 15minute period during which it doesn't need re-entering)

  • Creating in app-purchases for Amazon Kindle Fire

    Dear Adobe Community,
    my settings so far:
I'm using the InDesign CS6 Digital Publishing Suite,
    running on a Professional Subscription.
And ran into some problems with the Amazon Fire in app-purchase system. Let me explain:
My multi-folio app is currently running on Apple iOS and Android and was - accordingly - successfully published into the Apple Store and Google Play.
Now, the next step was the publishing on Amazon Kindle Fire via the Amazon Developer Console.
The viewer is running fine, no problems there; the same goes for the free folio.
On the other hand, the in app-purchases won't. The in app-purchase is submitted, the Amazon Developer portal marked it as "Live", but it won't appear in the viewer.
According to this discussion: Amazon in App & Subscription Purchases it is necessary to match the Amazon SKU number with the Product ID in the Folio Producer, which I did. Do I still have to contact Amazon to achieve a successful launch?
    Viele Grüße from Germany,
    Maximilian

DPS no longer supports Amazon in-app purchases.

  • Why can't I buy an In-APP purchase? It says that I can not connect to the iTunes Store and that I will have to contact iTunes Store Support.

    Hey everyone
With my iPhone 4S I purchased the NAVIGON Europe App, downloaded needed files and maps within the App and all worked fine. But when I try to buy certain add-ons via In-App purchase I get a window telling me that it can'T connect to the iTunes store and that I have to contact iTunes store support.
This is what I have already tried to make it work:
Reset my iphone via iTunes (set it up as new iPhone)
Changed itunes store payment option from Click&Buy to credit card
    restarted iPhone several times
    scratched my head
checked restrictions under settings in iPhone: all is correct; in-App purchases allowed
    chewed my lip
finally sent a message to the itunes store support.. waiting for their answer
no changes so far. I still get the same error message.
    Any ideas?
    hugs

  • HT1491 I'm using a prepaid credit card to make in app purchases. Every 2 days or so, I will attempt to make an in-app purchase and it will say "Unable to complete transaction at this time. Please contact iTunes Store Support."

Like I said, I often play iOS games on my iPhone 4S in my spare time. Sometimes, if the game is good enough, I will attempt to make an IAP (In-App Purchase). Sometimes, I have no trouble with this. Other times it will say: "Unable to complete transaction at this time. Please contact ITunes Store Support. I primarily use a prepaid credit card by AMEX called Bluebird. I always make sure that I have plenty of funds available in it. For instance, tonight, it has roughly $200 stored. So I try to make an IAP for $10 and it works fine. Later I make another for $15, no trouble there either. Then I try to make a purchase on the same game for $2.99 and it gives me that error message.
This has been happening on and off for the past 3-4 weeks only. Every few days it happens, I contact the iTunes Store Support, and sometime in the next 24-72 hours they get back to me. They then apologize for the inconvenience and fix the problem. But the main problem is that their fix seems to be only temporary. It happens irregardless of how much money I have available on my card. I've even had it happen when I had just redeemed a. $50 iTunes gift card and was trying to make a $5 purchase.  It doesn't seem to matter if I've spent a little bit or a lot of money that day. It doesn't care for which game I am purchasing the IAP. TThis never happened to me before a month ago. Now it won't stop. And it is incredibly frustrating that it seems to happen for no rhyme or reason out of the blue. Then I'm stuck waiting on the support staff to get back to me for the next few hours to few days, depending on the day.
Is this happening to anyone else?  Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?  Or how can I prevent it from happening in the future. The support folks at Apple are nice, but I'm tired of emailing them every other day with the same problem. I'm sure they are quite tired of getting emails from me at the same frequency. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Nick
P.S. my Internet connection is working perfectly. No technical difficulties whatsoever other than the inability to make an IAP. Also, after it gives that unable to complete transaction message, I can no longer buy anything with my apple account until tech support fixes it. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

Thank you Brian, but I just tried that, and it didn't work, I'm still getting the same messages.

For ex: My Apple ID is [email protected] and share to a friend. Both of us log to this Apple ID "[email protected]" to download a game on 02 different iDevices namely "acc1" and "acc2". Is it possible to use only this Apple ID to buy in-app purchases for both account games "acc1" and "acc2".

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

  • When trying to make in app purchases, my phone says to "contact iTunes Store support to complete this transaction" is there an easy/immediate solution for this error?

II'M trying to make an in app purchase and this error keeps coming up on my phone. I can still make purchases on my iPad though....

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

  • Does Dreamweaver CS5.5 support in-app purchases for mobile apps?

I am starting to take a look at developing a mobile app for my business and Dreamweaver CS5.5 looks like the platform I am going to use.  My question is this: do apps built this way have support for in-app purchases?
    Thanks.

If you are asking can you develop it I don't see why not.  Just refer to the documentation from the appropriate Marketplace for details on setting up in-app purchasing restrictions and requirements.  If you are asking if there is a built-in function to make an easy "in-app purchase button" I would lean towards the No on this answer because I don't believe that is in DW.
