Dynamic Configuration from Client ABAP Proxy

Hello Experts,
Is it possible somehow to set Dynamic Configuration values to Message Header when calling Client ABAP Proxy from SAP system?

I managed to get the dynamic header configuration at least with inbound proxies:
    DATA:
        server_context TYPE REF TO if_ws_server_context,
        proxy_framework TYPE REF TO if_proxy_framework,
        internal_protocol TYPE REF TO if_wsprotocol_internal,
        lo_inb_pxy TYPE REF TO cl_xms_inbound_proxy_plsrv,
        lo_dyn_header TYPE REF TO if_xms_msghdr30_dynamic.
      server_context = cl_proxy_access=>get_server_context( ).
      internal_protocol ?= server_context->get_protocol( 'INTERNAL' ).
      lo_inb_pxy ?= internal_protocol->get_framework( ).
      lo_dyn_header ?= lo_inb_pxy->xmb_message->get_dynamic_header( ).

How to configure systems for ABAP Proxy use

Can somebody please point me to the documentation regarding the configuration settings for the use of ABAP proxies, on both the XI and client sides? I have performed readiness checks as specified by SAP, the ABAP Proxy tests all pass, yet when I write a program with a proxy, the message does not appear in the integration engine monitor.
I think I have missed something in configuration settings, but don't know for sure. hence the request.

The following should do the trick:
data: l_dyn_record type MPP_DYNAMIC.
l_dyn_record-namespace = 'http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File'.
l_dyn_record-name = 'FileName'.
l_dyn_record-value = 'myFileName'.
CALL METHOD dynamic_configuration->add_record
EXPORTING
record = l_dyn_record.

What is package structure for Client ABAP Proxy?

1. What is the package structure need to be followed for creating abap client proxy.
2. I read some where in the form, it need to be 4 levels. Why is it?

U hav to create a 4 level package structure for client ABAP proxy.
U can create ur on packages
1st level-structure package.
2nd level-main package.
3rd and 4th level-sub packages.
To the 4th level only u hav to create proxy.
The classes and code wil be automatically generated at the time of proxy creation.
I think the 4 level structure bcz while in r/3 everythin in integration builder like software component version and all wil be takin as different levels.
Also u can go through the weblogs in the above replies u got.

Call se38 program from an abap proxy

Hi, All,
For some reasons, I have to call a se38 program (or tcode) instead of calling a FM from an abap proxy. Also I have to pass an internal table to the program (or tcode). Is there anybody know how to do it? Thanks.

Or create your own (BAPI compliant) FM and just call that?
Please explore transaction BAPI (incase you are not aware of it yet).
If you exposed a remote way to submit (any) report using an internal table which that "any report" can use, then chances are good that your ABAP proxy would be a bit of a security hazard...
Or am I missing the point here?
Perhaps you could explain the scenarioa bit, and then appropriate solutions can be suggested.

Access/set dynamic configuration in client/server abap proxy

Hi,
I have 2 question regarding reading/setting dynamic configuration in ABAP proxies:
1) Is it possible to set dynamic configuration objects in a server abap proxy (SAP --> XI)?
When looking at the class CL_PROXY_FRAMEWORK is looks as if it is possible. This class has en attribute IF_XMS_MAIN~DY which is a reference to the class CL_XMS_MSGHDR30_DYNAMIC.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to try and access the dynamic configuration objects via this class or if I'm supposed to use the GET_PROTOCOL method in some manner as suggested by:

Above link is for client proxies not server, and I've been unable to find any documentation on this for server proxies.
2) The same question goes for server proxies (XI --> SAP), though now I would like to set some dynamic configuration data.
This I believe should be done using get_protocol( if_wsprotocol=>ws_header ) as indicated by before mentioned link.
However in both cases I'm not sure of if it is indeed possible and which road to choose for sure. So a hint or 2 would be really nice.

Client ABAP Proxy : how to know which program is calling that service interface proxy

I have prepared some client proxy in ECC to communicate with PI.
But, if I am not wrong, unlike server proxy which is written directly in the class Provider class in SPROXT transaction, in client proxy we write abap code to trigger proxy in SE38 .
My question is : If I am in SPROXY and looking at any outbound SI, of which proxy is already generated, then how can in SE38 can I find which program is triggering that interface or proxy?

   I have following scenario:
   SAP ECC (ABAP Client Proxy) -> PI(XI)-->(SOAP) Third party web service System
   This is Asynchronous.
   What will happen when ABAP client Proxy in ECC sends data to PI but PI is down?
   Will the message be queued in ECC? Can the queued message be processed automatically when PI is UP later?
   Please help.

Outbound Client ABAP Proxy Timeout Error

Hello everybody we have the next scenario:
R/3 Client Synchronous ABAP Proxy->XI-> Synchronous RFC
and we are having problems cause the Sender R/3 is not waiting for the RFC in the Receiver system to process so XI is in log status fot this messages, is there a parameter to increase the time for R/3 Sender to wait for the Call method sentence to complete succesfully??????, thanks in advance.

Problem with Configuration in Production ( ABAP Proxy - XI - FILE)

I have a ABAP Proxy -> XI -> FILE scenario wich is working perfectly in DEV and QAS environment.
When the person responsible for transporting tried to transport the objects in QAS to PRD, the following error happened:
Direction of communication channel |BS_MA_FileServer_PRD | CC_File_PedidosServ_MA_FileServer_IA is incorrect.
Correct the direction or choose another communication channel
BS_MA_FileServer_PRD - Business System (FILE)
CC_File_PedidosServ_MA_FileServer_IA - My FILE Communication Channel
This was what the Basis person sent to me. I don't have access to know exactly what happened. And I really don't know what could be wrong or if maybe a component was created wrongly in Production.

You have mentioned FILE is on the receiving side and ABAP proxy is on sender side.
But the error pasted by you clearly shows syntax of a Sender Agreement .
For receiver agreement it should be |<Sender Service>| |BS_MA_FileServer_PRD | CC_File_PedidosServ_MA_FileServer_IA

Read data from Inbound ABAP proxy.Experts.

Hi Experts,
I want to read data from a inbound proxy.
Data is inside a deep structure as input.
Inside that 6 fields are there , out of those 6 i am able to read data from 5 fildes which are of type string 1 field QUANT is there which is of "Proxy Table Type (generated)" having data type as string.
Now whenever i tried to assign this to any field or variable of type string or char it gives error as "can not be converted to type of" that quant field.
Please help thanks in advance.
