E52 not giving email notifications for accounts no...

My E52 allows me to show two inboxes on the active idle screen.  These work fine and I get notified with a chime, an icon and email header when new email arrives.
However, I have four email accounts configured on Nokia Messaging.  With the two accounts which are not present on the active idle screen, I don't receive any notification of new emails at all, meaning I need to manually check whether unread mails are residing in their respective mailboxes.
With my old E71, I would get a chime and an @ sign informing that new mail had arrived, even if the account was not one of the two configured on the idle screen.
Can the E52 be setup to function in a similar way so it shows whether unread mail is present in any of my accounts rather than just the two present on the idle screen?

The accounts I'm referring to are Hotmail and Yahoo.  They work fine on my E52 (ie. send and receive email without problem), but because I don't have these two accounts on my active screen I'm not receiving visual or audible notification of new emails arriving.
On my E71, even though I didn't have these two accounts displayed on my active screen I still always received a chime and @ sign notifying me when new emails had arrived in them.
My E52 only seems to notify me of new emails arriving on the accounts showing on the idle screen (my work accounts), which is limited to just two, when I have four accounts in total that I wish to keep track of.

    A couple of days ago, I wrote a question about email notifications and now I understand them. I've been replying to a lot of questions but have recently noticed that I'm not receiving notifications when someone replies to my posts. When I ask questions I get notifications when somebody has written a reply but don't get notifications when somebody replies to my answer. I have email notifications turned on.
    Help would be much appreciated.

    Niel replies as if it is happening to him too - as it is to me - 16 days is on the money. I have an active AppleCare trouble ticket passed to the Community Hosts who have given it their own ticket number - I have reported all that I learn or observe to them.
    The workaround in the meantime is this WorkFlow:
    Click Reply
    scroll to the top of the thread - you will notice that the check mark is "Follow" - it used to be Following after the  progress bar finished 'posting' the reply
    Click the check mark or the word Follow
    Click Following
    Click Follow - this should leave the state of the tool as "Following"
    You are now TRULY Following the thread and will receive email notices as before.
    This only happens to some AppleIDs, so apparently the Hosts/Technicians are having a hard time finding the "insect-like" anomaly

    Recently we moved our production instance to new server. Now databse agent uses virtual name and host agent uses physical name. After move Instance generates alerts in OEM but doesn't send email notification. Rest of the instances sends email alerts. Any idea?

  • Not receiving email notifications for 30 minutes

    My phone did some software update and wiped out my phone.  I have since reset everything however having problems with my POP e-mail, which is AOL.  When it gets an e-mail, the phone does not say so for at least 30 minutes.  If at home  have to keep my phone on and logged in to my e-mail so I can see when I get an email because the phone is not telling me right away.
    From the phone, I go to my mail box and the hit menu --> more --> settings --> send and receive.  It's set up like this:
    Mail size limit:  no limit
    Set download frequency: every 5 minutes. 
      **When I click on set download frequency it's set like this:
              Peak time days:  every day
              Peak time start 6:00 am
              Peak time end 11:59 pm
              Frequency:  Peak times every 5 minutes
              Off Peak times every 5 minutes
    Dowload options: Bt days:  Today's
    Just now I received an email at 10:55 am howvere the phone did not tell me until 11:35 a.m.
    Please help!  And use simple terms and directions, please!

    i know the importance of receiving emails in a timely manner to the device. I went through the details on the HTC Incredible and found that the additional POP3 email accounts aren't visible through Accounts & Sync. They're only available on the option for Mail as you described you're following. There are two additional settings we need to check in the device. Please go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and verify both Background data and Auto-sync are checked on. These ensure the device is set to allow the sync to be working properly. I also suggest you confirm there aren't any battery management or task killer apps installed. These may prevent the full function of syncing and would need to be completely removed from the Google account to stop the impact. Please update us on these settings and apps.

  • Not receiving email confirmation for account setup and digital purchase

    I've been trying to get this website to send a confirmation to my email address in order to link my best buy account. It never sends any email and it's a standard hotmail account. Even if I try to change my email address, it still auto sends to the original address tied to my account number. It also won't send the digital code for an item I just purchased. Help?

  • Email notification for MeetingPlace not being received

    Client has MeetingPlace 7.1.1 installed. Outlook email notification for MeetingPlace stopped working.
    Problem symptom:  When users try to schedule a meeting from web server page, both scheduler and invitee do not receive email notifcaiton in their email account.  But email notification for MeetingPlace works when users schedule meeting from MeetingPlace for Outlook Plug-in regardlessly.
    I've run a test with client, meeting creation is successful. But as soon as user finishs creation meeting, email notification is "Queued for delivery" in Email Notification Report in MeetingPlace App Admin page. I checked all possible settings in MeetingPlace Administration page, nothing looks wrong - correct email address account and type in user profile; SMTP server is properly configured and passes tha test; SMTP server is up and runnin. 
    I'm stumped after deep research online, did not go anywhere. Can someone point out where could possible go wrong and how to fix this issue??

    Email notification works differently depending on where the scheduling is done. When done from Outlook your Outlook client sends the request directly to Exchange. When scheduling from the web the invite is held in a mailbox on the Application Server and periodically the system tries to send the email to its mailbox on Exchange.  Since the issues is with meetings scheduled via the web interface there is an issue with MP talking to Exchange.  I assume the users scheduling from the web have Outlook selected in their profile. This is the first place to check. Next I would look at the Outlook settings in MP. Make sure the MP mailbox is still in Exchange and that the user name and password is correct for the Exchange mailbox. This is usually where the issue is. Also make sure that SSL has not become a requirement to talk with Exchange.

    Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
    I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:

  • Email Notification for Sub-Folders on a Samsung Note 2 device

    My company recently switched to an internal Exchange Server.  I have a Samsung Note 2 phone.  In my Outlook, I have many Sub-folders that I use along with rules so that as email comes in, it is automatically placed in the Sub-folder.  When
    this happens, there is no notification on the Note 2 device that an email has come in.  Nor does it download until I manually drill down on the phone to that particular folder.  The long and short of it is I am not getting notified of these emails. 
    Is there a setting either on the phone or in Exchange that needs to be adjusted?

    According to your description, you need a email notification for sub-folder.
    And you can try the following workaround:
    Add the condition “display a Desktop Alert” in the Outlook rule which you have apply to the sub-folder.

    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple throughiTunes Store Support.

    Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can assist with recovering lost answers.

    There are five active substitutes maintained for a user in the system.
    The email notification for approval workitem of shopping cart goes to only one of the substitutes.
    I cant figure out why the email notification does not go to the approver himself and also to other substitutes.

  • E7-00 activating email notifications for one speci...

    My personal email has been setup through the built-in email client, and my corporate email through Notes Traveler. I'm running S^3 Anna, with Traveler 8.5.3.
    What I want to do is to just receive notifications for new emails on my personal email account, and deactivate the notifications from emails arriving to Traveler. This is something that worked in the past with my old E71-2, where I could select which email account could notify me, and it worked perfectly for me due to the deluge of work related emails.
    On the E71 device I had the Nokia email app for my personal email instead of using the built-in email client. This app appears that is no longer available to download, so I had to use the built-in email client that comes with the E7-00.
    I've looked everywhere on the phone, and appears that there is only two choices:
    a) Disable email notifications for all email accounts
    b) Enable notifications for all accounts.
    If anyone has any idea how to selectively configure email notifications in a E7 the way it was able to do in my E71, I would greatly appreciate it.

    e7 does NOT have email notifications. You just have to place the pers acc widget on the homescreen. E7 does NOT have options to configure def acc either. Push works on LT & MFE but NM push does NOT either. Anna makes all these things worse. Good luck.

    We are using Oracle AIA Exception Handling feature. In the BPEL process , we have catch branches defined. From the catch brances we are invoking AIAAsyncErrorHandlerBPELProcess.
    In case of an exception , the instance of AIAAsyncErrorHandlerBPELProcess and AIAReadJMSNotification is being created. We have configured ns_emails.xml and user_properties.xml as per the documentation.
    Kindly let us know the issue.
