ECC PO wtih reference to SRM PO

Hi ,
In my case PO has been crearted in SRM system, but PO has not been replicated in ECC system.
How do check for the reason why PO is not created in ECC system ?
Thanks and regards,
Amit R.

Hi
Which SRM and ECC versions are you using ?
Please implement BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK BADI or BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI
FYI, In ECS, the PO will created in R/3 directly.
PO Replication to R/3
PO is "replicated" the same way with both scenarios. SRM triggers a RFC call in R/3 and BAPIS are activated (BBP_PO_CREATE and BBP_PO_SAVE*)
Difference between scenarios
WIth classic scenario, the SC following document is to be created in your R/3 backend(s). Thus you can get an PO, a PR or a stock reservation in R/3.
With extended classic the following document is to be found in SRM itself. Thus from a SC item you can get a complete PO, an incomplete PO or depending on your customizing a Sourcing cockpit (now called Sourcing Application) requirement. Additional FM are called when you tick the box "Enable Extended classic" in the IMG activity, enabling you to get a local PD.
If you need to get a stock reservation in R/3 with extended classic, you will have to switch back to classic scenario for the particular category or product with a dedicated BADI ("Control extended classic ").
Be aware that with extended classic, the PO created in R/3 is not exactly a replication. That is a "copy" with that crucial difference that the SRM PO will use a different Purchase Organization that of R/3. It enables you to centralize your purchasing. In SRM you can create a "local" Purch. Org for EMEA zone for instance while in R/3 that is rare you can purchasing above a country (because in the backend you have to produce legal documents related to one company). Those "local" (=SRM) Purch. Org. are required to enable extended classic and it makes simpler Contract management for instance (in classic scenario contracts may need to be replicated to your R/3 back end and adjusted for each back end and each Purch Org in R/3, and even for each plants).
In a nutshell with extended classic you have a PO in SRM, and this PO is assigned to a different Purch Org that of R/3. Purch Org in R/3 are determined on the basis of the "Location" (R/3 plant you have replicated from your backend into SRM).
Extended classic is required for service purchasing when you want your requesters to be able to adjust the PO price while they can not access R3. In extended classic, PO is issued from SRM and not from R3.
Do the setting in SPRO--> Cross Application Settings --> Define Backend System.
Where you need to select the Product category--> source system --> Purchase Group for the material and select in the drop down field " Always PR or Always PO". One you do the same it will work.
If you want a controlled extended classic scenario whereby once you create a Shopping cart it should create a P.R / P.O in the backend like classic scenario. You can use the BADI for this purpose which will overwrite the standard ECS settings for the particular product category / purchasing group / purchasing org.
Implement BADI : BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI
The following methods can be used : DETERMINE_EXTPO ,
DETERMINE_EXTPO_CREATE

• ECC configuration with reference to SRM

Hi,
I have noticed that in the ECC customization that in IMG - Integration with other SAP components - SRM- the central contract node is not appearing to define the conditions from SRM to ECC.
Is there any activation of this tab.
Sunil

The logic of condition mapping between SRM central contracts and ERP replicated contracts is as follows:
First the system checks the conditions mapping as defined in Customizing.
If no mapping condition has been defined in Customizing the system checks whether an ERP condition with the same ID exists.
If no mapping condition has been defined in Customizing the SRM condition won't be replicated.
The conditions mapping between SRM central contract conditions and ERP replicated contract conditions can be customized here:
IMG -->Integration with Other mySAP.com Components --> Supplier Relationship Managment -->Central Contract -->Assignment of Conditions

• Clariffications in MM SUS Scenario with ECC 6.0 backend and SRM 5.0

Dear Team,
We are implementing MM SUS Scenario with ECC 6.0 backend and SRM 5.0
We need to following clarifications
1 Once we create ASN in SUS, how to cancel the ASN. We are not able to see cancel button for ASNs
2 When we create GRN in ECC against the inbound delivery and perform Return Delivery, this Return Delivery is getting updated in SUS. But the ASN status is not changing to canceled. We are not able to perform new ASN for this. Also invoice is being allowed for these ASNs. How to control the same.
Request your inputs please

• ECC Transactions in NWBC Browser SRM 7.0

Hi,
I´m SRM 700 SP08.
I dont have Portal Netweaver and now I´m using Netweaver Business Client. I would like to show ECC transactions in my NWBC too.
I have created a role ZTEST with role menu:
MM01
MM02
MM03
In Target System i have my destination (Backend System).
My user have this role, but I cant see the transactions MM01, MM02 and MM03 in NWBC.
I need to do something more?
Thanks,
Pedro

Hi Pedro, Iñaki
I´m using Netweaver Business Client for SRM. I need to show BI reports also. These BI reports are in different system.
The launchpad is configured such that it shows SRM reports in one section and BI reports in the other section. The problem is SRM reports get executed while BI reports do not. It states that the Query does not exist in the server. The queries exist in BI but I don't know how to change the reference, i.e. how to tell the system that the BI query is in the BI environment and not in the SRM.
Any pointers regarding the issue will be of great help.

• ERP invoice with reference to SRM Basic Contract?

Hi
In SAP SRM you can create a shopping cart or a PO with reference to a SRM Basic Contract by setting the item number to 0 like: 4700000107/0
But with the new Ehp1 SAP states that ERP invoices can be created with reference to a SRM central contract (via SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1). But can you create the invoice with reference to contract item 0?
The idea is to have the non PO related invoices registrered on the basic contract in SRM along with the PO's. A basic contract can't be copied to ERP, as there is no lines on it, but is the ERP contract copy needed for this scenario?
So two questions:
- is the ERP contract copy from SRM needed to use the Ehp1 functionality of creating invoices with reference to a SRM contract?
- can the ERP invoice be created with reference to a basic SRM contract by giving the contract item as 0 or in another way?
BR
Jacob

Hello,
With SRM 70 EHP1 you can create ERP invoice against your SRM Central Contract distributed to ERP.
To enable this you need to do few settings in ERP, for the same you can refer to the config guides available at Service market place for SRM701 releases.
Configuring Contract Handling for Invoices : You use this procedure to configure contract handling for invoices in the SAP ERP system. You have activated the Procurement - SRM Integration 2 (LOG_MM_P2PSE_2) business function in the SAP ERP system.
Steps :
1. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under : Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Incoming Invoice -- Activate Direct Posting to Contracts , to allow direct references to contracts when creating invoices and parking documents.
2. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under : Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Invoice Block -- Set Tolerance Limits , to set the tolerance key for contracts (PC: Price variance for contract).
The feature is termed as Invoice Reconciliation here.

• Invoice without reference in SRM not viewable in R/3 controlling

Hi All,
I am on extended classic scenario in SRM 4.0. When I post an invoice without reference to a PO in SRM, the invoice gets created in R/3. However in R/3 when I view these entries in controlling reports such as transaction KOB1 or KSB1, I am unable to drill into the line items to display the document. I get the error message "Original document is not in the local system".
This seems to be only for controlling reports, as I can drill into the line items in finance reports such as FB03.
I have applied note 682441 in R/3, but still face the same problem.
Can anyone tell me if they have the same problem?
Thanks,
Paula.

Hi Paula,
Sorry to intercept.
I am facing an issue while creating the Invoice without reference to PO. My system is SRM 5.0 with Extended Classic scenario active. May I request you to share your insight on the settings to be made to achieve this functionality.
Also, I would be glad to have few words on creating the invoice with reference to local SRM contract.
Thanks in anticipation.

When add new product category in ECC and does the Replication then the prod category will replicate in SRM tables.
but when we delete a Category in ECC and replicate then none of the SRM tables showing the deletion indicator.
1: Is there any table which will show the deletion indicator for Product Category deleted in the ECC.
2: Is there any FM which can get the deletion indicator in SRM for deleted Product Categories in ECC
Please help us .

Hi thanks a lot for your reply,
but we have report which gives the details of Product Categories. So In report we are making use of FM
"COM_PRODUCT_CATEGORY_GETLIST" this FM getting all the Product Categories even those are deleted in ECC.
So we need to remove such entires.
If we deleted the Prod cat through R3MATCLASS , is then the Prod Cat will not be picked by FM ?

Hi,
I do have a requirement of Restricting the output of P.O document created in ECC to SRM-Sus. When a P.O is created and saved in ecc system it mustnot be shared with
SUS provided it has no indirect materials . I do have the logic with me . I created on routine in VOFM and customized it in "Define Message Schema for Purchase Order" in SPRO and the sy-subrc is set ne 0 if the condition fails . Then also the P.O is being shared with SRM-SUS . Are there any method for accomplishing this? Thanks in Advance,

• SRM 5.5 as an add-on on ECC 6.0 vs SAP SRM 5.5 server

Hi
Are there any limitations if we go with SAP SRM 5.5 Server as an add-on on ECC 6.0 compared to Implementation of SAP SRM 5.5 server on its own.
FYI-We just have one ERP Back-end system.
BTW, what is the difference between SAP SRM server 5.5 vs SAP SRM server 5.5 Plus.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Anji

Hi
Summary:
You can use classic scenario in Add-on.
You can use self-service procurement and SUS in Add-on.
You cannot have Sourcing and other scenarios.
No migration from Add-on to Separate server available.

• Problem passing a table in an RFC wrapper in ECC to a FM in SRM?

I am creating a wrapper around FM 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP' in ECC, because I cant find a FM in SRM to convers an excel file into an itab. I pass an excel sheet from SRM to this wrapper to convert the values into an Itab and pass then back to SRM. The problem is the parameter "i_tab_converted_data = i_converted" from 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP' is of type STANDARD TABLE. So when I created the Itab = i_itab_converted_data in my program using a type I declared in my program, I can't use the type to create the exporting parameter in the FM to pass the itab back to SRM.

• ECC 6.0 AP vs SRM Invoice processing

My client has implemented SRM on it's own instance and is in the process of implementing ECC 6.3 on it's own instance. The question being debated is where to house SRM's Invoice Processing.
My recommendation is to keep all financial process in the ECC instance. Does anyone know if there is an SAP recommendation for this scenario?

The choice depends on your scenarios/requirements - classic, extended, or decoupled. It makes no difference in FI module, the payment cycle will be the same. If invoice is entered in SRM, data is passed to ECC via BADI/BAPI's.
The pro's and cons are available in SAP SRM documentation and SAP Press book 'The Consultant´s Guide to SAP SRM'.

• The change date of PR in ECC does not update in SRM

Hi,my experts:
I work in SRM7.0, PDP Scenairo
I create PR in ECC ,and then the PR will transfer to sourcing in SRM .But if I change the quantity of the PR ,the update will not happen on the SC(the PO has not been generated in sourcing ).
Is it a system error ?Or others ?
BR!
Alex!

Hi Muthu,
As said earlier, i have never seen a scenario where one can change a PR after it has been transferred to SRM. I have seen cases where they forcefully reset the eprofile field to close a PR (in some peculiar instances).
The change i was mentioning was the shopping cart change in the sourcing cockpit. In you example, when the qty is changed from 7 to 5, the difference of 2 comes back as a new cart referencing the PR.
I missed a point here..
What i actually intended to mean was in cases where a PO is created from the sourcing cockpit & later on the PO qty is reduced, the difference comes back to the sourcing cockpit.
I am not very sure in the PDP scenario whether the purchaser is able to change the qty in the sourcing cockpit.
In the general scenario, i know that a change in qty done from the sourcing cockpit changes the shopping cart qty directly.
cheers,
Akash

• Mandatory data to be maintained in ECC before replacting plant to SRM

Hello Experts,
What is the minimum data to be maintained on ECC side for a plant before it can be replicated to SRM.
We are on SRM 7.0 and facing issues with some particular plant.
Thanks,

I think you will be following std method of Define & copy procedure to create plant in ECC which may be more than sufficient.
Please provide the error details so that it will be easy to interfere.
