Elements 10 organizer keeps stopping when trying to create a slide program.

When trying to create a slide program Elements 10 Organizers stops working about half way through the selection.  How can I correct this problem?

I tried what you said and was able to import my movie into iDVD although I still had trouble writing the DVD (4 more times) as the titles page viewed with the wrong buttons and the sound was out of synch with the movie.
I tried once again from within iMovie and clicked the 'proceed' button instead of 'render and proceed' and this seemed to work okay.
I then went on to create the DVD which worked fantastic.
Thanks for your help which lead me in the right direction.

    Sorry our primary database file structure is different from stdby, we used db_file_name_convert in the init.ora, it look like this:

    Is there any thing wrong in this parameter.
    I tried this parameter before for cloning using rman backup. This din't work.
    What exactly must be done? for db_file_name_convert to work.
    Even in this case i think this is the problem its not converting the location and the logical halts.

    Thanks for your reply, our logical stdby has '+RT06_DATA/RT06'
    and primary has '+OT06_DATA/OT06TSG001'
    so we are using db_file_name_convert init parameter but it doesn't work.
    Is there any thing particular steps hiding to use this parameter? as i tried this parameter for rman cloning it din't work, as a workaround i used rman set new name command for clonning.

  • Under support I was told to uninstall and reinstall.  When I try to reinstall it keeps stopping when trying to install the exp file.

    Itunes was not recognizing my iphone.  The support function said to uninstall and reinstall ITunes.  I was able to uninstall, however when I was reinstalling it kept having a problem intalling the .exe file. Is there another way or help to reinstall?

    iTunes64Setup.exe download has paused.  I hit the resume button then it the messege that it cannot continuing downloading the iTunes64Setup.exe file.
    I was thinking it was my internet.  I reset my internet and it seemed to download iTunes.  It came up, but when I click on the iTunes store button I get the following message:
    iTunes has stopped working
    A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
    Close Program button.
    That is the only option it gives me, do you know what that is about?

  • IPhoto keeps crashing when Trying to create a calendar

    I'm trying to put together a 2011 calendar for family. Every time I click on Create, Calendar I get the "Loading" page and then it crashes. Have to force quit to get out and try again.
    Any ideas??

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Backup the library and try the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
    2 - delete iPhoto's cache files that are located in the User/Library/Application Support/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
    3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
    NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
    Fix #2
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select options #1, #2 and #6.

  • Photoshop Elements v13 will no longer launch, the message "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working" appears despite me running this program successfully for several months.

    Can anyone help with this problem - up until recently I had been using Elements 13 very successfully but now it won't launch - neither will 12 but 9 will but with an old catalog. Help!

  • Elements 10 Organizer  Has Stopped Working.

    I recently purchase Adobe Elements & Premier 10 programs and both have been working well for about 2 weeks.  Now, when I opene Organizer, the program loads and appears but immediately it stops working with the message: "Elements 10 organizer has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
    I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but no change.  The Editor in Elements 10 starts and works fine.  I am running Windows Vista.  Nearly each day I get a Windows update notice and install it.  I also frequently defrag my hard drive.  I am having no other issues with my computer.
    I have tried a few of the suggestions from others on this forum but nothing helps.  I have also tried the Restore feature on Windows but it never Restores for me.
    Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    See if you can get to the preferences from Editor by clicking:
    Edit à Preferences à Organize & Share
    Then select Media Analysis and turn everything off by un-checking all the boxes.
     Also try making a direct shortcut for the Organizer and see if you can launch the program directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen.
    On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New à Shortcut
    Then click the browse button and navigate to:
    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
    Then click Next; then click Finish
      N.B. on 64 bit systems navigate to Program Files (x86)

    I have an updated Win 8 64 bit laptop which i have just installed Elements 13 on. My first encounters with this software results in this error:

    Hi - this is an old, old one....Got tired of non-answers from Adobe. Well I succeeded in fixing it (apologies for my English). In my case, I found out that the problem was caused by corrupted catalog files. This is what I did to isolate:1) Held the shift key and started Organizer. 2) Selected Manage Catalogs 3) Selected a different catalog from the one that was in use 4) The problem disappeared so the conclusion was that the previous catalog was causing the problem. This is what I did to fix it: 1) went back to manage catalogs 2) selected the faulty catalog 3) selected the Repair catalog option 4) In my case, the application told me the application gave me a message indicating that the catalog had no issues...5) well i went ahead and clicked the Repair option  and it seems it did repair it. 6) I selected this repair catalog as the current catalog 7) Organizer has been running since then.   • Installed Photoshop Elements 13.  Tried to launch - "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working."

    I downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 13 & Premiere Elements.  I then launched Photoshop Elements Organizer and imported approx. 28,000 photos (including some videos).  A window opened indicating that many of the photos had tags, and asking if I wanted to add the tags.  I said yes, and the process began.  When it reached 60% a window opened indicating that "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working", with the only option being to "Close program."
    I've tried to open organizer several times, but it goes immediately to "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working".  I was able to open Editor, and tried opening Organizer from Editor, but encountered the same problem.  Same when I opened from Premiere Elements.
    I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled Elements 13 three times, twice using the Akamai downloader, and once using the Alternate method.  It said installation completed, but when I opened the program, it went straight to the error "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working".  These times I didn't get to import my photos or their associated tags.

    I already checked that and I have the latest drivers for my printer. Thanks for the suggestion though.  Dennis

  • Elements 12 organizer has stopped working on importing of files

    I am running a brand new PC w8.1 fresh install, second install of elements and photoshop 12.  when I am attempting to import my files in the organizer I am getting a consistant crash "Elements 12 organizer has stopped working".  Need assistance to make this go away.
    Background:
    The crash happens while importing videos or photos (have not even gotten to the part to work with files yet)
    I have tried to take smaller imports (less then a couple hundred files) but that doesn't seem to matter.
    It is not crashing on a consistent file.  Sometimes when I try again, it completes the import.
    Brand new Dell PC 7i, 24 gig ram, amd advance graphics card (PC not the issue)
    Windows 8.1 pretty much out of the box.
    Tried to "rename" the psa file to psaold, (still crashing).
    Re installed software, no change
    Downloaded the latest updates for everything.
    Webroot security
    Thanks for any help you can give me, I hate to have to return the product but considering how unstable it is when everything is fresh, I cant imagine living with this.

  • Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working (again)

    Upgraded fromearlier version and successfully imported catalog.  Have been doing weeks worth of organizing, when this morning an album was open and I got some kind of corruption error message.  I repaired the catalog, despite being informed there was no corruption and,.when it completed, I began getting "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working" errors from Windows 7.  From this point forward, the error occurs seconds after opening the organizer. I have tried deleting the psa.prf and status.dat, with no luck.
    I have also tried launing the organizer directly, also with no luck.  After reading several related posts, I am getting the sense that this product is now being sold without support, ala some 1980's software.
    Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?

    My photoshop 9 program stopped working after using Adobe Premiere 9 to generate a slide show using Adobe Photoshop 9 organizer to place photos. The program crashed as I was attempting to burn a DVD. After this happened, I no longer could access the organizer in Photoshop 9. I get the message "Elements 9 organizer has stopped working" " A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you of a solution is found"
    I tried unistalling Photoshop 9 and the problem remains.

    Thanks for your suggestion.  I checked the Epson web site and also their technical help, they gave me their latest driver (which didn't work) but also said there were some issues with Apple's Mavericks (OS X 10.9.4) and said I should get back to Apple.  Not sure were this leaves me with Adobe Elements though - perhaps I should reinstall?  Thanks again for your suggestion.

    Why does the elements 12 organizer keep on crashing during the import of mts files? Does anybody have the same problem?
    Adobe does not really seem to be interested in helping, since they outsource everything to forums!!

    What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
    Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
    For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
    -you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

    hi experts,
    I hit an error 'cusomer-own workflow are not allowed to be configure" when trying to create a new element in the container.
    have anybody come across this problem and how to overcome it

    Aren't customer task not used anymore?
    Or am I mixing things up here.
    Well the problem isn't a problem it is SAP standard behaviour you simply can't configure customer tasks (type T in PFTC)
    You can only configure Standard Tasks (TS) or workflow templates (WS)

    Just had a look at the SAP help and indeed types T aren't allowed anymore SAP gives the solution to copy the customer task, this will automatically change it to a standard task
