Has anyone been getting these kind of emails.

Sounds suspicious.  Don't respond.  If this is supposed to be from the Apple online store you can call them directly using the number at the bottom of this page.

    Open iTunes on your Mac.  Go to Store > View Account from iTunes' menu.  Sign in.  Change your billing information there.

    You don't.  the ipad is not a backup/storage device.  it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer.  The sync is one way - computer to ipad.  The only exception is itunes purchases.
    Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
    If so, not good.
    You may be able to purchase  a third party program, not supported by Apple, to get the other music.

    Open itunes or the app store and navigate to the bottom of the page , there you can find your email adress click on it and choose to view your apple id then enter payment and update your billing info.

  • Java runtime plugin 14.9 is installed on my Mac 10.8, but the plugin status report from Mozilla says I need to update it. How do I resolve this?

    Mozilla's plugin status report says that I need to update Java Runtime Environment, and that I am running version 14.9.0. But when I download the update, all I get is "Java 8 Update 40", which my computer says is an older version. I can't find any info on a later version than 14.9. Nor can I find this plugin in my computer -- it does not appear in the System Preferences window, or in the Applications Folder (including in Utilities). How do I clear this up? (Note: I disabled Firewall).

    Hmm, Java 8 Update 40 should be the current version for both Windows and Mac. Do you recall where you got a version 14.9 -- was it part of an Apple update instead of coming from Oracle (which now operates java.com)?

    Instead of dealing with a lost card, purchase iTunes gift cards which can be redeemed for iTunes purchases. You can't use the billing information from that card without a Security code.

    Sounds like you have a negitive balance from the last pourchase (you owe Apple money). Add a valid payment method to your account.

    I bought a $25 iTunes Gift Certificate to spend on, but I realized that this $25 iTunes Gift Card is for use in the United States only. So I created a new account (this account) to redeem this card. Since I don't really live in the United States I entered a random address and phone number in the process. I chose "None" for the Payment Method and entered my $25 iTunes Gift Certificate to top it up. So with that, I "successfully" created my account.
    I was buying the $25 IGC to buy IAP for Ace Attorney Trilogy to play all the chapters, but then it won't let me purchase. It says "The payment could not be completed. For assistance, visit apple.com/support/itunes/ww/". I tried getting suggestions from the internet like signing out and back in and resetting the app and all didn't work. I managed to buy Limbo without hassle, but after I got back from class now I can't even download free apps from the store. It says "You must verify your payment information." So I tried to change my payment info (which is odd, since I chose none), and my billing address, but it won't let me. It says "For assistance, visit apple.com/support/itunes/ww/" again, even though I provided a very valid billing info.
    Now I'm stuck. I bought a $25 IGC on that account and now I can't even download free app. I spent more than 3 hours and didn't get anything resolved. I can't even remove my balance to another account and my money is now stuck inside. I couldn't figure anything out from this. Can anyone here suggest me anything or help? Thanks for reading and hope this can be resolved as soon as possible.

    Hello,
    I need to update my billing information, but have not been able to gain access to the Adobe Store to do-so.  I have been trying since late last week, but am met with this error everytime:

    There was a problem in the store. If you wish to complete your purchase immediately, please call (800) 585-0774 (U.S./Canada).
    I have put off calling in hopes this error gets remedied, but am beginning to lose hope. When I live currently provides me with very little in the way of phone reception; as a matter of fact, I rarely have reception any place I go nearby.  That is the reason I've yet to call and, quite frankly, don't want to have to.
    Please advise.

    I got same error. I even tried your recommandation.
    I am using a MAC with OS X 10.8.3, Safari and Chrome browsers. I am from Romania.
    Let me tell you what I tried so far:
    1. Using Safari or Chrome I tried several times to reactivate my subscription by editing billing informations and using same debit card details.
    2. I tried from adobe.com and from creative.adobe.com. On the second one an error said: There is an error on our end. Please try again later. I tried several times without succes.
    3. I spoke with an agent of yours. No solutions found. They all sent me two phone numbers to some resellers from my country that instead of helping me in any way they tried to sell me a new subscription. That is not OK.
    Therefore in the last three days I tried and tried but the same error appears over and over again:

    I do not even know where to call. I tried calling as a US number. It says it is not in service.

    Vista Ultimate 64-bit recognizes 8 cores. 32-bit recognizes one physical cpu.
    I've had very little trouble in two years. And now I do like Windows 7 but also eager for the RC.
    I've been using the latest Nvidia. There is a method to the madness of how to uninstall/delete and install graphics drivers, or madness in the method. The W7 drivers are easier.
    Nope. Something else. More sensitive to disk errors. You aren't running a program to boost fans. Something.
    And some AV software is more prone to causing trouble. But all you need is a good AV/malware program, and even Norton AV 2009 is acceptable, or Avast or one of the others.

    In order to install iTunes 10.7 or later you need OSX 10.6.8 or later. A PowerBook can install up to OSX 10.5.8
    I hate to be the bearer of bad news but any new iPod won't sync with iTunes on Mac not using an Intel processor.

    You need to purchase a retail Leopard install disk or Snow Leopard upgrade disk(if your computer meets requirements for SL). Then update iTunes to 10.1 or greater. Check eBay or Amazon for retail Leopard Disks. You can also try calling AppleCare.

    You have an iPad 1. 5.1.1 is the last iOS version for that model.

    That email was a phishing attempt to get your iTunes account and payment details - iTunes accounts aren't 'frozen', and iTunes don't need your social security info.
    If your husband entered his card details then he should contact the card issuer immediately and get it cancelled and replaced.
    He should also change the password on his iTunes account e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on his computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com
    If you still have the email then you could forward it to Apple : [email protected]
